Yeah, it's annoying. Long hair is like makeup in that it can really hide imperfections well while short hair draws attention to your eyes, cheekbones, etc. A lot of men don't like that, they like the fantasy of perfection.

It's quite interesting that while a lot of guys I know here in Asia like long hair, they are not opposed to girls cutting their hair short. However, it is because there's a general belief locally that you need to have a certain bone structure to carry shorter styles well.
Like you though, I cut it if I feel like it. I've just grown it back out from a pixie cut to what's now collarbone-length because I'm too lazy to go to a hairdresser's 😅

He's from a season of 90 Day Fiance and the way he treated his girlfriend, Rose, was absolutely disgusting! Made me so angry watching him. At one point he gives her like tooth brush, paste and mouth wash because her breath is AND I QUOTE "not pretty". Turns out she had a stomach ulcer which was causing the breath.
He continually acted like his status as an American made him hot shit and because he was considering marrying her and 'saving her' from a life in the Philippines.
Spoiler alert she ends up leaving him after he lied for like the 3rd time.

I can't even watch this show anymore because for the last several seasons it is like TLC only wants to have on the show disgusting American men who are preying on young women from impoverished countries, who are only dating these men because they are naive and/or these men have American citizenship. These men often have a racist fetish (and there's been several American women in this category as well). Even though I think plenty of it is scripted, plenty isn't and it's just depressing how this show makes money off mostly men taking advantage of impoverished women.

Their free time is consisted of buying sex for the least amount of money possible (usually from someone who can't say no),rating the women on their face, body, sex skills, etc., telling the others how they can do the same, traveling to third world countries to see how far their US dollars can stretch and warning others how to avoid the cops (in places where prostitution is illegal).

Every time I've seen her since their season she is glowing and looks a lot healthier. The thing that made me so upset (besides making her shave her legs and talking down to her as if she didn't understand the concept of dental hygiene) was how he plied her with champagne to have sex with her, and then after he got laid he sprung on her "oh by the way I don't want more kids" when he knew it was a deal breaker for her.
