You have no idea how exhausting it’s been for me to continue to be gaslit when I say exactly what you’re expressing here!!! I can’t tell you the frustration I’ve had dealing with women who refuse to see what’s right in front of them.

A couple of years ago I was enjoying some sunbathing at a very nice resort when I noticed a male ogling a 3 year olds body. I’m not sure what came over me (I was raised to be very submissive due to my culture) but I just lost it. I called him out, made a whole scene. Imagine my surprise (not really) when my creepy uncle scolded me for “assuming” and “embarrassing” that “gentleman” while the entire beach was looking at me with disapproval. Well here’s the best part; A girl who couldn’t have been more than 13/14 years old comes over and sits a few seats down from me a couple minutes later. Every single male, including my disgusting uncle that was just throwing disapproval at me for “misjudging” were looking her up and down like they wanted to eat her.

Thats when it dawned on me (FDS lightbulb went off so to speak) that males defend even the most vile behavior (leering at 3 year olds) because deep down they know they’re not that far off from those males and if we begin to give consequences to even the worst of them, it’s only a matter of time before they themselves are forced to reap what they sow. Their deprivation knows no bounds and the attraction to extremely minor children comes from A. Complete sexual deviance/ ie. Sexualizing anything and everything because they begin to over stimulate themselves at a young age. And B. The knowledge of the innocence, naivety and just straight up forced societal ignorance that young girls (and children in general) come with. When I hear the “less than one percent of males are pedophilic” line while in the same breath expressing “hairless, small, submissive and playful” as their preferences I can’t help but roll my eyes at the sheer irony of it all.

I have noticed this too. Men will jump to defend a man's "dignity", a man they don't even know.

Yet have zero hesitation to cut you down and call you "rude" or "crazy" if you are defending basic decency.

It is the strangest thing.

I made an online purchase. Instead of having the item sent to me ( it was a particular brand of Almond Milk) - the owner of the store drive across my city ( approx 50 miles) to deliver it to my door. He called me and asked' why I wasn't home as he had been buzzing my door." I told him I was at work. Why the fuck was he showing up at my apartment????????

I alerted my building manager about this behaviour. His response ? "He was just being friendly."

BEING FUCKING FRIENDLY? COMING TO MY HOUSE? CALLING ME DEMANDING TO KNOW WHY I AM NOT HOME??????

It never fails to surprise me how men defend other men so easily. I think you are right - deep down men have a dark side that they want other men to defend for them. This is the glue of patriarchy. Always cover for another mans depravity - because it could be you who is accused next by some hysterical women.

It's actually incredible if you think about this for a bit. How much do men expect women to hate themselves that they find a woman speaking out against this type of thing offensive?

Like, the idea that I can't say it bothers me when women dress up like a middle school girl for men to sexualize, as if I was never a middle school girl myself? For some reason men expect us to be divorced from our own humanity.

I was thinking about this with Bell Delphine today. Like why it is shocking that a woman might not like that a woman wears a middle school girl's bathing suit and has videos where she is basically r*ped and abused for paying men to watch? Men really expect us to hate ourselves so much that we won't take any issue with that.

If men were told that in order to be sexy and cool, they needed to dress like a 12 year old boy and be beaten and r*ped on camera for the sexual enjoyment of middle-aged women, would we judge them for saying, "I don't like this"?

Not fucking hating yourself and your sex seems to be a radical act for women. In many ways the porn age has set women and feminism back so far, even as we gain institutional power (perhaps because of it). Can you really expect a boy that grows up watching women be brutally hurt physically and sexually in porn to see his female coworkers and colleagues as human?
