On a side note, I still don't understand the bend and snap. What is such a bizarre little scene doing in such an otherwise great movie? https://youtu.be/GQmt9W6Ky7U

I can't edit the title of my original post, but for the love of God, I guess I should've indicated that it's a high value act - not necessarily an indication of a high value man. Perhaps that should've gone without having to be said?

An actual bullet. A guy I once dated told me he tried to shoot his cheating ex in the head and the only reason she survived is because his gun jammed. Thanks for letting me know, bud.

Yeah, it sucks but these scrotes only get married because they want someone to look after them. His mommy bangmaid got sick so, the deal's off, he's out of there. I'm sorry for her pain but the trash took itself out and that's always a good thing. Imagine if he'd stayed. He'd be demanding that she perform all her wifely duties, cancer and all.

I've heard stories of vulnerable individuals standing on top of roofs, balconies etc, preparing to commit suicide while scumbags on the ground are filming them with their phones and yelling and encouraging them to go ahead and jump. We can always rely on people's capacity to be low value to the point of being evil.

Women aren't allowed to feel pleasure. Madonna/Whore. The saintly Madonna suffers nobly, quietly. She sacrifices her own needs for others. The profane Whore smiles, laughs and enjoys her life. Men: How dare she?! Doesn't she know how subhuman and worthless she is?

It's also disturbing because does that mean that they also believe their own grandmothers and mothers and sisters and daughters and nieces and girlfriends and wives are not human? Or are these not actually 'women' to them? And if men ever believed during their youth and childhood that women were human, at what age did they 'unlearn' this fact? Was it porn that taught them that women are subhuman and worthless? In any case, if men can pretend that women are subhuman and worthless it allows them t…

Women of the future will be overrun by endless waves of brain-damaged, masturbating monkeys. It's grim as hell but that is the future. There won't be an end to them because the demand for porn is strong and constant and the means of distributing porn becomes more sophisticated with each passing year. Within one generation, men have gone from covertly maneuvering to watch a few frames of grainy VHS porn or managing to find another guy's secret stash, to internet porn. I shudder to think how much …

It's pretty much because at beginner level they can achieve their goal: orgasm. They have no incentive to progress. They care only about themselves. Unless they're spending those same pornified hours actually with someone they care about enough to learn her body, they'll always be on the starting line.

Lol After a guy id been texting sent me an unsolicited dick pic I deliberately avoided mentioning it and asked him if he was strong. "I'm ex-Army" he replied as if men never get out of shape after leaving the service. He really wanted to hear about his dick so he attempted to prompt me saying he was picturing me down there and looking up at him with sexy eyes. I replied "Well, let's meet for a coffee first ☕" (Pre-FDS) Blocked him shortly afterwards.

They hate themselves. They want to feel powerful. They have been conditioned to believe that they are inherently better than women. Even 'HVM' (I don't believe that any man is capable of being 100% High Value) believe this too, deep down.

Everyone here is correct - please get out ASAP. To answer your question - men do know the difference between flirting and being friendly - they just pretend to misunderstand when it suits them. This guy finds you attractive and so he is choosing to gaslight you that talking to him is you flirting with him. He is even trying to force you to talk to him - following you around, yelling at you etc. This is not the normal behaviour of a room mate. This is what an unhinged abusive partner does to his …

This reminds me of a movie I saw a few times in my 20s. It was a strong message to me to ignore the prospect of marriage and to explore life as much as possible and enjoy that hard-won freedom. 'The Portrait of a Lady' (directed by Jane Campion, starring Nicole Kidman, Barbara Hershey and John Malkovich). Based on the novel by Henry James. Pure projection. A man who knows he ain't shit will attempt to pull a woman down to his level. He is full of contempt for the whole world, including himself. A useful quote I heard is: if someone tries to pull you down to their level, it means you are already above them. Time to go find someone who IS on your level and who is perfectly at ease there.

Let's leave the lazy, unwashed man-children in their bassinets and to their dreams. I'm not attracted to losers so I don't need to waste time thinking about them or what they want. I have zero attraction towards men who think and hold conversations like young boys. I have no idea how to respect a man like that. And unfortunately, these kinds of men are always going to exist so, thinking about them is pointless and a total waste of my time. I'm only interested in what I want.

Calls her disgusting names? Nope. Blatant disrespect is the death knell of a relationship. Show me a guy who calls me a 'fucking c###' - I'll show you a guy who doesn't exist anymore. Oh my God there were so many times I had to console my ex through various injuries of his. Of course, I didn't get much nursing from him when it was my turn. On a similar note, it's quite funny how pissed off they get when a woman is better at something than they are. But they're so soft, they're not much competition. The show is more feminist than a lot of people think. The first 2 seasons alone contain a lot of FDS-style sentiments and sound bytes. I'd never seen the first 2 seasons until recently and I was expecting them to be very bad and out of date but I was pleasantly surprised.

I've begun so many Netflix shows only to switch them off after less than 20 minutes because of pickme female characters. After FDS, that stuff is really jarring.

I cleaned at an old folks' rest home while at university and even the nurses ordered us around and treated us with disdain. The cleaners and nurses actually wore the same uniform, just in a different colour. The difference in colour was the visual cue that they were "better/more educated" than we were.

Thank you for your words here. They are so true, they sting to read. Especially this: Men are afforded their whole humanity. Women are not. The issue isn't being attracted to people and wanting people to find you attractive. Birds in mating season make themselves attractive! The real issue is women cease to exist outside the male gaze. Male validation has become cultural currency that dictates women's education, finances, healthcare, etc.

I often thought about this when I was in my longterm relationship in my 20s. I was constantly reading magazine articles about pleasing my man and taking relationship quizzes etc while my ex used to spend hours gaming. It seemed starkly evident that all the hours I spent thinking about the relationship were ultimately a colossal waste of my time.

Two words: Krav Maga. I'm going to begin lessons soon. If you've never heard of it, it's basically the best, most pure, self-defence fighting method in the world. You can learn how to turn your body into a weapon. (I live in a country where citizens are not allowed to carry any weapons at all including pepper spray) Krav Maga is unique also because it isn't a sport like boxing or ju jitzu. Loneliness is part of being human. It sucks but it's unavoidable - everybody will feel it at some point in their lives whether they're in a relationship or not, whether they have good friends or not. Luckily, women are generally much better at coping with it than men. A lonely man can be the most dangerous thing in the world.

Imagine if the situation was reversed and there was something evil and horrific like porn that women were incredibly addicted to. I agree - we need to stop being so confessional. Women usually bond via talking - it's our instinct to reach out and keep lines of communication open but we can't expect men to be everything to us. Not Breaking Bad but, I remember the Walking Dead character, Lori - the main hero's wife - getting so. much. hate. She was introduced in the opening sequence having sex with her husband's best friend. (They both believed her husband had been killed). She didn't receive any sympathy or love from online fan communities (that I ever noticed) in the roughly 5 year span I watched the show. I've watched several seasons more than once and she is always supporting her husband the best way she can - prob…

I once had to watch and listen to a guy complain for hours about the pain he was in after he was tattooed. It wasn't even his first tattoo. You paid to be in this much pain, you moron.

Yes, LV men don't want women. They're not attracted to 'women.' They want 'girls'. The younger the better - the more inexperienced, the more easily-exploitable.

I asked to see a guy's photo on OLD several years ago. He was using a painting as his profile picture. So I'm expected to not be 'shallow' or 'superficial' and try to get to know someone I've never seen? I indicated that I didn't have time for a person if they didn't have the courage or the honesty to show their face from the get-go. He got so offended and called me every insult under the sun, including shallow etc. Whatever, dude. Go waste someone else's time.

One of the reasons why FDS exists is because we are sick and tired of men just using us for sex. Men view sex differently to us. To them it's much more of a service that they receive from us. I'm not planning to begin charging for sex in the future but I feel pretty regretful for the way I've given myself away so freely in the past. I've been complicit in my own devaluation and exploitation.

It's more because a pregnant belly is not sexy or attractive to the male gaze and a woman's stomach is not normally showcased for public consumption/the male gaze unless it is flat.

Men have no problem telling women their emotions aren't valid because this is the message they receive under patriarchy too.

Exactly. Married men are utterly infantilised. Plus they wouldn't get married at all if they thought all the housework was going to be their job.

And there it is, all wrapped up with a bow on top: you are worthless to them if you won't sleep with them and equally worthless if you do. "You worthless woman, you." Nope. A man doesn't decide my worth. If a man fails to see me as a full human being, he does not get to interact with me at all.

A dear friend of mine had an ex who would grade the dinners she cooked out of 10. She loves to cook and she didn't mind at all. She pretty much asked him for numerical feedback enough times that it became a daily occurrence.

Yes, it's simply projection. Whenever I hear someone saying something nasty about someone else, I always assume they're talking about themselves, whether they realise it or not. Every single, hateful word out of their mouth. It's a self-assessment.

To the mods - please watch the segment - the title is regrettable but I think it makes a good point about what the average man would do in this situation.

I posted this just now but the comment didn't seem to load. This is a segment from a British comedy show called 'Balls of Steel.' The actress showcases her 'balls of steel' improv skills by hitting on men in front of their girlfriend. LVM behaviour ensues.

There's so much rape porn that men have been conditioned to find those 'audios' and 'visuals' of women shrieking and crying sexually arousing. The high-pitched, plaintive cry of a victim taps into the primitive nature of predators - it makes them feel powerful, dominant and strong. They associate those sounds and images with the endorphins they experience when they jerk off, time and time again. They're training themselves to hear those terrible sounds in a positive way.

I think he saw you as his meal ticket from the start. Men are never gonna be able to come to grips with a relationship where the woman is more successful. Those men just give up on ambition and often end up cheating to boost their self-esteem. Glad you're getting out.

Great strategy. Make the rejection more total by giving them a physical appraisal too. Contemptuously flick your eyes up and down their body before ignoring and turning away. Maybe, if you feel you could safely get away with it, you could also stare at their package for a few seconds and then giggle? I reckon you'd see steam coming out of their ears.

'Wish I could shoot them without repercussions.' Oh God, me too. I wish this exactly as much as they wish they could rape us without repercussions.

Those dead eyes are caused by porn and all the other distressing things you can see online. I've seen teenaged boys with those dead eyes. It's awful. They've seen things no one should ever see in their lifetime.

Very true. If a man can't spy his opportunity in a given situation, he won't get involved. They call it rationality, logic, pragmatism, self-preservation. I understand where they're coming from and it seems smart from a survival point of view but it just doesn't seem right. It certainly isn't kind or merciful or compassionate. It isn't the way women are wired, by comparison. A lot of women would rush to help a strange child. A lot of men wouldn't lift a finger to help their own.

Simple - he either doesn't know or care that he's mediocre. It's time for us to stop feeling ashamed of our own mediocrity. Why do we always think we can't go ahead and do things because we're not 100% qualified? We'll accomplish so much more if we quit dwelling on our shortcomings and just go for it.

They've been conditioned to ignore the word 'no.' For how will he become the great man he has been told he'll become and make his mark on this world if he stops every time he encounters an obstacle? /s

Deep down I believe that the ideal life of peace, good conversation and solid, reliable, emotional support lies in living with women. I wish to God I was attracted to women sexually but I guess it's just icing. You can't put a price on a peaceful life.

It is sad, isn't it? Even our fathers and brothers will identify and side with some random, strange man. But not with us - who they grew up with - their flesh and blood - simply because we are women.

I absolutely love stocky/muscley guys with buzzcuts or shaved heads who are shorter than me (I'm 5"10.5 or about 179cm). My ex was about 5"8. I was in a shop recently when my 'type' walked in - it was eye-opening to me to realize that a shorter, stocky guy still does it for me. I don't know why. Maybe it's because my father and brother are taller than me. I guess I also don't like looking up to a man.

If most men find Britney Spears hot and sexy in her first music video, dressed as a schoolgirl, then most men are pedophiles. They won't admit it to themselves that they are sexually attracted to young girls and teenagers because that is pedophilia and that is too ugly and taboo for them to contemplate. But, it is pedophilia no matter which way you look at it. Men are so depraved that they've built pedophilia into the fabric of society until women often don't even notice it. It is also why men h…

My taste in movies is changing too. I looked at my DVD collection last night and I realised how many of my beloved films are aimed solely at men. I can't identify with those characters anymore and the female characters are just straight embarrassing to watch - getting treated like shit and not fighting back.

If this guy was a regular joe with a regular job, he'd be called a sick fuck and that would be the end of it. But as he's semi-famous and good-looking, Cosmopolitan Magazine feels obliged to defend him.
