For me, it also changed when I learned what was "normal" and what type of behavior should be expected from others. FDS is a godsend.

My taste in movies is changing too. I looked at my DVD collection last night and I realised how many of my beloved films are aimed solely at men. I can't identify with those characters anymore and the female characters are just straight embarrassing to watch - getting treated like shit and not fighting back.

So true! You become attracted only to respect and love.
It makes you bullet proof. My taste changed drastically and now I am not attracted to people I used to find attractive.
Even to actors...Who act like LVM in films. They don't look good anymore.
