Men who talk about the wall are delusional and pedophiles.

I don’t know how this started but a lot of men think women after the age of 25 stop being desirable and they should have secured a boyfriend by then. Why? Because older men don’t like mature women. Their mindset goes like “30 years old women are looking to date us while we only would date a girl in her early twenties” They really think an 18 year old is into +30 men because they are “mature, intelligent, and handsome in a different way” If a young girl is into them it’s probably because she’s trying to take advantage of his money. Yet they will complain when that girl leaves them for a “Chad” I don’t know how they can be so delusional.

Also there’s the factor of them being pedophiles. They want 18 years old but if they could they would go for younger.

I’m sorry, I know you probably meant well with this post, but can we please stop perpetuating this?? Why are we trying so hard to prove to society that women can still be beautiful past the age of 30?? Why do we care about what men think?

Whenever I see posts like this, it really just sounds like “Look men, women can still be beautiful after a certain age, please don’t discard us, please pick us even when we’re old!!”

I agree with others who view this as an exercise for young women to understand they don't need to fear that poor health and elderly status are just around the corner.

I also agree that, in showing that 63 doesn't have to be old, we also don't want to reinforce objectification, male-gaze-itis or solely conventional beauty standards. But I think that, when I was 21, I would have been reassured by the existance of fab, vital 60+ women of every shape, size and color. If anything, it counters a fear that's continuously instilled by culture.
