What you ARE is inconsequental to the world around you, both before and after your death. No great men in history WAS intrinsically great. Sure, introspection, values, frame matter to you personally and is important insofar as they affect what you do. This is just semantics, but it's worth repeating. Value is created by action, not thoughts.

You're totally right that this does not belong in an egalitarian world. However, as we all know, the world does not work that way for men. Being discredited as an unattractive nerd is the ultimate ad hominem. Claiming it is wrong, crying about it or otherwise trying to change opinions about it does not help. The discreditation still stands and probably gets worse. Men's rights as a movement is dead in the waters if they are framed as victims.

No doubt he deserved a fist or two. Those situations haunt you if you do not stand up for yourself. I would also leave the place to avoid any of the fucking drama involving butthurt cunts, even though it is risky if the judicial branch get involved. Most of the time they don't from petty shit like this though.

The hamster has some severely irrational outcomes... Facefuck from a stranger met at 3am is acceptable because that does not breach the domain borders of the category "sex" which the hamster is guarding. Pussy is off limits since even the hamster is not strong enough to reframe penis in vagina as "sex". Who am I kidding. Of course it can. "We didn't have sex because he came on my tits"

Any essentialist term like "trait", "personality","alpha" or "beta" is only useful as far as they can describe or predict actions. You "are" just a human. Want to fit another description? Act according to it.

Backtracking on an offensive joke makes the joke less socially acceptable than just letting body language and delivery convey that it is humour. This is because if you apologize for it you lose the social safeguard in place, the pretense of entertainment. The comment then needs to be taken at face value. THis is by the way how all stand up comedians seem to get away with the most offensive stuff. They never qualify their material.

I really dont understand why you are being downvoted. I'm Norwegian and totally agree. The media portrayal as vikings being these fierce warriors unlike any other is BS. Any history of warriors conquest is almost always circumstance of cultures. Vikings had favourable climate to give opportunity and time to sail over the ocean with their superior boat tech to seriously pillage unprepared saxon farmers, monks and other cucks. This in turn created fables that live on today.

In on disproving the generalization of Norwegian men. Feminism has never really gotten a strong foothold in the general populace. I think it went the same way as communism did earlier. A too extreme worldview for the average pragmatic Norwegian.

It works because we are inclined to act like we have acted before. The frame, or attitude, also has a tendency to align itself with behaviour. It does however usually need adjustment because faking it in this context is a conscious effort, which is hard to keep up. Agreed.

MS has innovated their approach to product synergies. The change is in allowing mixing and matching microsoft products with competitors. This is absolutely needed in the future(and really already). I think Microsoft will thrive in the corporate market. Another big player that is often forgotten is Oracle. They are gonna crash hard if clueless corporate customers wisen up.

The greatest shame about the too common orbiter/friendzone scenario is that it is one of the more avoidable pitfalls. Just some education on the subject in the early teens would go a long way to help mens health. IMO it's one of the easier BP tendencies to avoid by cognition simply because you feel the internal conflict. Once you understand the reason for your internal conflict, fixing it is cathartic, not challenging. Fuck her or next her. One example of a tendency harder to avoid by cognition …

There is no sexuality without the self. Why do you accept that attraction can be fluid, but not the role of the individual? Sexuality is an equation, not a function.

Cutting of his dick is not really the point though. Changing gender because of some real or imagined identity not feeling right is. You can't really call this an illness without simultaneously calling homosexuality an illness. Both are a result of sexuality not expressing itself for the benefit of reproduction, but so is many personality traits you wouldn't call illness. I do however agree that relationship advice should be avoided from these people. This isn't advice. It's just a reminder that …

It's all about that first period where you first learn all this shit, go through the phases and eventually settle on your way of implementing it. If I read this in my first week of Red Pill I would be intrigued by this article. The intuitive truths alot of Blue Pill men have a nagging feeling about, but never quite accept because of indoctrination, laid out in this blunt manner is a powerful way of smacking them over the head and lead them down the rabbithole. When you reach an obstacle in your pursuit of a woman, sidestep and try another woman. Don't double down on the same woman. This is kind of analogous to horizontal scaling vs vertical scaling in service architecture, so maybe that is where he has it from.

While I'm all for sticking it to the man, this post has an undercurrent of agenda hijacking. If this a direction the sub should head in, it should be backed up by flawless rationale. Blue pill sexual indoctrination is prevalent and apparent when you look for it, but one of it's main strengths as a theory in my opinion is that it does not need a conspiracy to be true. While these labels are simplifications, they do help compartmentalize RP concepts in the early stages of reading, so posts like this are good to highlight the differences. "Beta" is often used when what is really meant is "Omega". It is used to categorize the lowest SMV men. I think the important difference is that "Omega" is only a categorization of quality, while "Beta" is better used as a descriptor of the strategy of the "second best" men, the providing, nurturing, loyal, obedient.

Find some red pillers arguing for female breeding camps, a genocide of bossy women, or criminalization of the friend zone and you'll be golden. In that cesspool I found only one detractor with a bit of common sense. I would go even further and claim that the whole concept of misogyny as it is used today is a construction that does not mesh with a red pill way of thinking. Behaviour is logically the only way of producing outcomes. Misogyny has long been a weaker term not actually meaning mistreatment of women in the behavioural sense. It is the voodoo doll of rape.

I agree. This whole thread is trying really hard to rationalize how human behaviour does not always fit nicely into theoretic definitions. It's definitely more beta than alpha to raise other men's children. But if that man arouses women with his non supplicating masculine behaviour, I hold that he is more alpha than beta anyway. This week we had an interesting "call to arms" about this subject in Norway. The usual trope of women earning less than men was emphasized through the tongue-in-cheek headline of "women can stop working now, as they have worked their worth already this year". Ok, I thought, same old shit repeated with a new slogan. But no, they actually had the reason clearly understood. Yet being muscular and ripped is demonstrably one of the most effective ways to increase success rate with women. We fool ourselves by downplaying "looks" as a factor of SMV. Facial attractiveness is one of the best hands you can be dealt in life. What needs to be driven home in threads like this is that mens SMV is a sum of more parts than womens and probably has a lower cutoff point in any one factor. The 20/100 "rule" loses it's meaning if not everyone is counted. I do however agree that 20% is too many. Being top 20% is not enough to gain significant benefits in the SMP, it just barely covers the men able to have sex on a regular basis before settled for as BB.

Most comments here saying it is because they don't need to develop a personality are right, but miss the mark in what constitutes interesting female characteristics. The crucial difference is that your list of what women lack are male qualities. Traditional feminity internalized into their personality is so rare it is hard to find women that actually are attractive for something other than physical attributes. And as pointed out by many here, they don't have to anymore.

I take it as acknowledgment of the flaw in our language regarding the default assignment of the masculine gender and also some amount of pandering to the feminine. I agree. I wouldn't mind it as much if we wasn't so entrenched in a culture of twisting everything towards the feminine. Thought experiment: if you proposed this solution to a feminist complaining about the 77% statistic, do you think they could imagine the outcome? Mathematically, men and women would earn the same on average, so this would be a valid solution if it was a valid complaint. Quite the opposite, women mostly receive positive discrimination in tech and engineering whether it is mandated or not. In some masculine fields sometimes men forget to treat women as women when they start working there. This will often lead to a complete emotional breakdown. some of the game taught there is also very much made for actually putting out into action. it doesn't have the "social hack" element that is so prevalent in PUA culture. For example the "nervous guy" approach is counter intuitive to TRP knowledge, but is very easy to implement and isn't incongruous like some other tactics. you open with a mild compliment and saying you are not 100% comfortable approaching. isn't that inconfident and beta nice guy? kind of, but you only say it, you don't act like…

TRP theory never claims to explain every behaviour though. with that said, that drug dealer is unlikely in beta territory and him being without ambition is irrelevant to him being fuckworthy for an unfaithful woman. it isn't unheard of for women to fuck down either, it is simply not the general trend.

at certain times, for example directly after a massive war, it is preferable to have a higher ratio of women. other times, for example directly before a war, that would ead to that population not propagating it's genes as well because they lost the war.

thats really insightful. even if something is not provable(falsifiable) by science doesn't mean it is not true or at least that is leads to what it claims. placebo still has the wanted effect. So many discussions get hammered by the "not proven by science" argument nowadays. Some areas are simply too complex to properly test with science and thats where human rationality needs to be used for any progress to occur.

totally agree. I meant potential SMV peak. women kind of get their peak "for free" in that they only need to conform to basic nutritional advice to reach their potential around age 23. mens fitness peak is much earlier than 40, but their SMV with regards to career, status, social skills, assets etc is the reason it keeps increasing. So obviously the reason the common RP view of 40 being the prime SMV for men is that the potential fitness is still enough to not drag the rest of man down mens SMV …

it is a false dichotomy you are putting up here. how attractive you are will relate heavily to how the experience in bed is, probably even more so for women. This is very interesting as a Norwegian TRP'er. I've always felt the common view here of the extremily radical feminist scandinavia was somewhat oversimplified. The social democratic policies we have are frowned upon by many red pillers, but most of them are really not that bad for the average man. Generally our politics always lean towards being more sober. It's no secret that men have higher ceilings for most anything, but especially SMV as it relates to RP. This is also some of the reason behind the apex fallacy these feminists fall for. It sticks if you don't adjust the strategies for the environment. Their optimal strategies leads to the other sex having to compromise. When "bullying" is done to boys or men it is usually done as a test. The man has an out by not yielding or supplicating. When done to girls it is not a test, it is a statement of superiority. I think perhaps this is why the school system treats any sign of aggression so ill-favored.

Please read read the material presented in the sidebar before getting "boggled". This particular concept is explained by searching rationalmale.com with the term "beta game".

The only way your application of this theory works is if it is not the SMP one plays in, but rather the reality of the SMP(red pill awareness). The only spectators you list that are not participating in the SMP is MGTOW. The rest definitely participate with either bad strategies(blue pill, white knights) or outdated stragies(marriage).

I can see my wording was a bit off and this triggered you hard. I agree that "faking" attitudes and behaviour is not a good way of gaming, but the point stands. Game is a way of capitalizing and even going further than what simple SMV matching would allow. With regards to strategy, of course I didn't claim that game is better than becoming higher SMV. Anyways, they are not exclusive strategies.

What a tryhard title you chose. Anyway, you forgot the mention the other relevant compensation technique, namely having good game. It is basically a way of mimicking how one would behave if having SMV higher than the women.

having such a limit is fine, as long as you keep it for the utility it brings by receiving less shit, not because you actually believe the morality of it is wrong.

I don't see the problem. If that picture was worded like that, he is already in the "friendzone". Taking down the picture will not fix that. Having it up does not increase the risk of him being friendzoned by other girls. It will only serve as social proof.

you seem to cherrypick the reading to fit your world. i certainly also believe humanity can do better, but I dont see a problem with "plate strategy" for a thriving society. I believe in rationality first and foremost and any dogma, feminism or religion is not a part of the society I want. sex is. no need to leave the sub. defend your position and see if it sticks

you are right that there is a genetic limit to how attractive you can LOOK, but you need to take into consideration that men have the capability to increase their SMV through their behaviour. I agree that "hope" is a weak emotion and probably not so useful here. I think the initial downvoting was because of the impression you gave of futility if one's situation is hard. People don't wanna hear it, but truth is one of the first steps. After that, perserverance trumps futility every day in my opin…

best field report in a while! you show really thorough understanding. I am also trying your approach to TRP, trying to integrate the concepts into who you are through conscious effort and eventually you will traverse to a state where it is effortless to maintain.

Zinc supplementation or ZMA will only be beneficial if you are deficient and it is a micronutrient you probably should try to maintain through a steady whole foods diet, not supps. Source with an interesting discussion about supplementation in the comments

Most theories discussed here are probabilistic by nature, meaning there will be exceptions but generally it holds true and is predictive insofar it is tried many enough times.

How I feel about it is very much dependent on my perception of whether she's enjoying it, etc. In other words, my pleasure is tied up in her pleasure. Like other aspects of the TRP, you need to stop approaching sex with a feminine perspective and fuck her good and hard because that is what YOU want, not that candles and roses on the bed shit

I see you are the designated contrarian in this thread. Well, their SMV is similar if they are similar in attractiveness, fx. both are 8/10 ranked by the other sex. I guess what you were really after was to question SMV as a concept, but that is another discussion.
/r/TheRedPill16/04/14 03:40 PM

yes. men and women can also be friends when their SMV is very similar and there is no attraction.

that grocery store story signifies what is the main take home point of "dressing well". What is "well"? Dressing appropriately for the situation you are in. Dominating a certain situation is several times harder if you do not have the appearance of already being in control of it. On a related note, I found this site that really gives you an understanding of what "dressing well" looks like.

One example of female humour is of self-deprecation that could be considered cute or quirky. similar to how a child makes you laugh, only the women do it deliberately. An example would be misunderstanding the rules of a cardgame or the plot of a movie to humourous effect. this could be partially through being dumb, but I suspect many women do this as a strategy subconsciously. this kind of behaviour actually reinforces the male dominance/female submissiveness pattern that is often discussed here…
