Amazing you revealed the exact point I made.

I never said or mentioned it being the same. It's disgusting to even approach feeling bad for Nazis cause they aren't men much less worrying about them being short shamed by a woman when they DESERVE to be.

Not as tough as laying on your back for the Reich like you.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates18/01/26 03:43 AM
-2

It's not extreme at all. It's the MODERATE position at this point. Ya'll can sit here and say "It's bad for Men to do blah blah blah" The worst thing ya'll could possibly do right now is nothing and when history looks back at the Left Eing Male Advocates that's all it'll say.

Telrvant and right. There is no reason to compare being called short as being as bad as being a Nazi. No one agrees with you.

Okay. Great way to out yourself, Conservative Chud.

How many protests have you shown up to?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates18/01/26 03:11 AM

Fine. More Nazis for me to punch.

No. Just no. You cannot make allies Nazis or count on their good will. The only people who do that are the Naive and actual Nazis. Good day, sir.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates06/02/25 09:00 PM
2

Okay, so, clearly, since they are the enemy for an over whelming majority due to them using Dog Whistles as Members of the Right or the Red Pill themselves it tracks that we shouldn't welcome that shit and we should be anti it because and wait for it.... It appeals to Nazis and is therefore bad.

DEI isn't the issue or an issue to Men. In fact it helps Black Men to get positions they should be more than qualified for in a fair society. I don't know why ya'll are wasting time on that nonsense. But other than that I fully agree with you.

For real. Might be bots, but it feels genuinely like there are some members here who are too comfortable with RP content. This is the second time I've posted this and gotten downvoted into oblivion as well.

The Red Pill and The Manosphere are generally one and the same because too many Left Wing MRA's aren't willing to tell the Red Pills to fuck off. You should probably view every dude in it with a heaping help of suspicion especially in this modern political climate, but also tag and share quality left leaning ones and do your best to change that. We need a Left Wing section of it carved out of that Sphere but it won't happen until we start telling Red Pills to fuck off.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates05/02/25 04:55 PM

Honestly, dude, you sound like a creep. Your tone comes off as extremely self centered and the way you try and pretend like these women want to all be with you just feels really weird. You could have made the points about weird dichotomies of how men and women's actions are perceived without putting your bias in. Seriously, I'm sure these women were ecstatic the moment you stopped talking.

I've been here longer than you've probably been alive. You still need to cite your sources for people who come to the sub and want to see that is a place of excellence not low brow misogyny. Trying to portray Sexual Assault as a Non issue is fucked man.

"When the second wave of the women's movement evolved in the late 1960s, Farrell's support of it led the National Organization for Women's New York City chapter to ask him to form a men's group" He is literally The Founder. He made the group. He also has gone on record in The Myth of Male power to say that he is still a Feminist where Feminism advocates for both sexes. He still identifies therefore as a Feminist.
/r/MensRights30/05/24 11:31 AM

Sounds like a skill issue then.
/r/MensRights29/05/24 03:54 PM

Cause it's the only one that works? The Founder of the MRM is a literal dude Feminist with a Happy marriage and a happy wife and family. Mean while, all the conservative ones are miserable, divorced, or just generall unlikable fucks. Can't argue with facts man.

Founding members were a part of XX Chrom and other TERF subs. It may have changed leadership since then, but back in the day it was so gender essentialist they were arguing automation would be bad for men to acquire partners due to a lack of jobs. Nevermind UBI and the reverse being true for a lot of women. It just never has had a Left leaning focus on Men's issues really either.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/05/24 04:27 PM

We need to mobilize some how. I was trying to think of a way to utilize Twitter to help the movement but that App is a lost cause I think.

I hate Red Pills pretty largely, so I'd say malicious is thw right idea. The MRM deserves better and so do we. If we do not show these guys they're unwanted even here we'll never get people to see what we stand for.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/05/24 03:42 PM

Nah. It's done when we don't take the fight to the enemy. Red Pills have no place in the MRM.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/05/24 03:39 PM

Honestly, it's pretty depressing. I used to think this sub had value, but The Mod doesn't even know Farrel still identifies as a Feminist.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/05/24 03:38 PM
-3

Or maybe he just sees people posting Red Pill association stuff.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/05/24 03:37 PM
-2

He still identifies as Feminist mate, so you are categorically wrong on both fronts. Also, I'm saying it needs to go beyond this sub. The whole of the MRM needs to cut ties.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/05/24 03:36 PM
-4

Nah. Red Pill shit is Andrew Tate man. There's no excuse for accepting that. There is only one Red Pill and if someone identifies as one it is your job to make sure they are unwelcome.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/05/24 03:30 PM

Bruh, mensLib is Anti Trans. If ya'll can talk shit about Feminist shit in this sub you'd BETTER be able to accept shit talk about Red Pills.

No, it is totally possible to distance by calling out the fact that most Red Pills have not read The Myth of Male Power and actually aren't a part of the MRM proper. It is literally up to us to start shit talking these Red Pills out of the entire MRM.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/05/24 02:39 AM

Dude, there can be seperate Civil Rights Movements for different causes to unite the people. Black Men and Women are also shot more per capita unarmed than White Men. GTFO this Human Rights Movement you Dweeb.
/r/MensRights12/05/24 11:50 PM

Thew answer is simple: The MRM needs to distance itself entirely from Association with Red Pill Theory.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates12/05/24 09:28 PM

All Lives Matter was literally invented to stime Black Lives Matter. Bad comparison.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warren_Farrell "Farrell initially came to prominence in the 1970s as a supporter of second wave feminism but has since become a leading figure of the men's rights....Farrell advocates for "a gender liberation movement", with "both sexes walking a mile in each other's moccasins".[4]" All Men's Rights activism stems from this dude whp started out as the first male board member of NOW. You haven't even LOOKED at The Myth of Male Power, have you?
/r/MensRights04/05/24 02:28 PM
-1

Yet you still replied? You understand Mens Rights Activism is based in Feminism and that the founder hates misogynists like you? You're in the wrong sub. You and OP.
/r/MensRights04/05/24 02:00 PM

And we found the misogynist.
/r/MensRights04/05/24 11:41 AM

Bruh, guys ABSOLUTELY do the same shit. I get your pain because I had women close to me in life abuse me too, but don't leave yourself open to attack. Men and women do the same shit because they're equals and to assume otherwise will get you taken advantage of.
/r/MensRights04/05/24 05:40 AM

You're already doing great work by being brave enough to post in this forum. A good start to learn about the MRM is Warren Farrel's "The Myth of Male Power." Try and give some of his other books a read. Farrel is a Male Feminist MRA and the founder of the entire MRM. He's also pretty intersectional which is another win. But yeah, welcome to the MRM.
/r/MensRights11/04/24 11:33 AM

Dude, come up with some real Men's Rights Stuff instead of this childish bitching about Single Mom's. Seriously, your writing is so bad and stream of consciousness I have no clue if you're complaining about someone in your life or not.
/r/MensRights10/04/24 07:49 PM

I've been on this sub for over ten years now. It's been good and bad, but this kind of shit is ridiculous.
/r/MensRights10/04/24 11:11 AM

You SHOULD give a fuck if you aant to have any of your own. The entire premise of Legal Abortion that the MRM champions is because of Anortion existing in the first place. Your wife will probably leave your ass if you don't figure out that other human beings freedoms and losses are your own.
/r/MensRights10/04/24 04:49 AM

Not even denying you're in the wrong sub? Heard.
/r/MensRights09/04/24 02:22 PM

No. It isn't. The founder of The Men's R8ghts Movement is a literal Male Feminist who hates Misogynists. You are in the wrong movement. Being Woke literally just means to be aware of social issues. And you're not an MRA. You are a Red Pill. GTFO.
/r/MensRights09/04/24 01:46 PM

Wokeness is literally just being aware of social issues. You are an MRA. You are woke. Gg.

Girl Group Chats are the worst. But your alternative is a girl who "Doesn't like other girls" and she'll have a bunch a of dude friends she'll tell you "Not to worry about." That said, if she's sharing details about you and she wanted to keep the relationship she should have known to keep certain details on the DL. BUT, your girlfriend was touching you inappropriately for how you felt and kept doing it then she WAS abusing you. You have every right to feel upset about this, espeially so close to…

Women police the behavior of other women too though. Nearly every girl I knew that had a walked out father situation had an alcoholic Mom who beat her child with her own sense of failed values. Not everything is the fault of a man. Some sure. But not all and to assume it's this way is just misandric.

/r/MensRights20/03/24 01:54 AM

The worst part about your misogyny is that you wasted time you could have soent bring up a MEN'S issue and instead used it to bitch about shit women do.
/r/MensRights19/03/24 10:15 AM

No, you fucking dip shit. It doesn't change the fact that women were opressed.
/r/MensRights17/03/24 09:12 AM

Yeeeeessss, GG. That doesn't change the fact that women didn't and it was primarily dudes who enforced that idea. Try again, bubby.
/r/MensRights16/03/24 09:32 PM

It does more good than bad, mate. Women need reproductive rights. The basis for Patriarchy Rheory being so prevalent in Feminism is because women have been opressed by men in a position of power and they didn't have a right to vote until 100 years ago.
/r/MensRights16/03/24 06:44 PM

There aren't enough categories for types of dudes because no one is alike. The post is not only wrong, it's Misandric at its core to try and say that these are the only types.
/r/MensRights16/03/24 05:59 AM

Sir, Men's Rights is Identity politics. Woke also just means to be aware of social issues. You are Woke if you care about Men's Rights. Welcome to the Online Left.

I ain't having a conversation, Boomer. Fuck off and get out of Mens Rights. Misogynists have no place here.

It's because those Animes are cringe.
/r/MensRights05/03/24 01:03 PM

The reason you think we haven't done anythibg is because you haven't been looking. We were a huge part of the Civil Rights movement when Feminism wanted an ally movement to bridge the gap between the Anti-Draft Movement and Feminism. Warren Farrel literally worked wirh Gloria Steinem. We opened uo the first state sponsored domestic violence shelters for dudes. WE are the ones responsible for bringing the suicides of men to the forefront of conversation. We've done shit. People just pretend we do…
/r/MensRights05/03/24 12:55 PM

I am shook by this, but ultimately happy. The draft should not exist at all and we should be happy women did not get added to it. We should however be mindful that they still want us on it. It will however make it harder to convince women to get rid of it, now that they can't be drafted.

/rmensrights has a lot of issues tbh. Mostly, it's had a problem with extreme Red Pillers posting really Cringey Hot Takes about either dating life or Feminism in general, some of which I'm pretty sure is sexist or fueled by sexism and during the BLM protests there was a huge divide over Breonna Taylor's name over taking George Floyd's that got really fucking racist as well as just insensitive to the plight of Black Women. I stopped subbing to it mainly because fighting Red Pills at every turn t…

So, here's my two cents. I'm friends with a few girls who do sex work, and dated a few without being one of their actual customers. Yes, Sex Workers totally exploit and degrade their customers. The number of times women have posted on a public forum like FB about how much of a turn off it is that guys buy their content and then constantly complain about how they can't find a man that is worth dating will astound you, or just be very unsurprising. They also largely post links to their content on …

Honestly, THIS! When girls have problems they come to me often, and tell me their stuff about their boyfriend issues. Consequently though, I have issues with talking or posting my feelings and rants to them because even if I've put in that emotional labour for them, I note that most girls devalue yoh if you share your emotions, especially if they concern how you're being treated by a significant other. The double standard has frustrated me for a long time to the point where I've generally stoppe…

We've been conditioned for a long time to view this practice as acceptable. The shame of not being circumcised is a lot for men to endure, and few families, my own included. Though my parents knew it did nothing to benefit me, my Dad specifically didn't want me being ridiculed by judgemental women, and he'd also been raised very catholic as well. Science heavily supports that it is an unnecessary practice, but societal pressure counts for a lot.

I don't know the post you're talking about, but here's a pretty good link to The Atlantic that covers some of the things you're talking about, including the origin of the term. https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2019/02/toxic-masculinity-history/583411/ Hilariously enough WE apparently coined the term. I was sexually assaulted by a male relative of mine of mine off and on for roughly two years from 6 to almost 8 and forced to beat the shit out of a dog multiple times when I was 11 to prove why I shouldn't get sexually assaulted by the dog by a Rad Fem. You're among survivors and friends here, homie. Also, based on your post, I find it absurd they banned you because ALL of the posters seem to have agreed with you.

Just because someone has minor insecurities about their body is no reason to unfriend them, much less condemn them as human beings. Also, people have issues. They aren't perfect and trying to judge every human being you meet on a some level of perfection is quite honestly absurd, especially for me because my ass is far from perfect either. This is the first time with her I've seen something actually troubling in a "Wooooow, okay. Someone's mad about something." And like I said everywhere else, t…

Not a damn clue. When she was flirting with me back in the day I noticed some red flags and kind of backed off. They weren't signs of misandry though, just general insecurities about her body that made it difficult to deal with, because while she showed a desire to be thin by doing Keto and other diets, she rarely chose exercise or rather avoided it entirely. Any attempts to say that she looked fit or even Healthy made her upset because that wasn't what she was going for, and I partly suspected …

Generally speaking, I find when I make informative or questionaire posts on my socials, and invite others to a discussion I find I have better results. Once you lose someone as a follower, you lose a potential ally in the general larger fight for Human Rights. Consequently, the more followers you have that are prominent women in their spheres of influence means more people are willing to listen to your ideas because you have mutual followers or higher ones. For some reason, I have attracted a de…

I just don't have the current mental health to do it. In the past I would Key-Board warriored that shit to the nth degree, but with trying to just survive in this world as is, make my money, and try to live a decent life, spending time on every inconsistency isn't worth it these days, especially when it comes to other people's prejudices. Maybe if she keeps making these posts, but I've already muted her, as well as a lot of other girls, just because I'm tired to trying to get people to see what …

No it's not, but I'd rather just mute someone because I don't consider that post to be the whole of their mentality, disheartening as it is to see posted. I've seen an influx of these posts and I'm personally attributing it to the current political climate, not their actual mentality.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates06/10/21 05:49 PM
-10

But I don't think she's actually a misandrist. Just angry over the current political climate. There's a difference. I don't have the energy to confront every inconsistency I see in other people's behavior, and I think over all it's counter productive. Muting people works just as well if not better than unfriending because it doesn't start a fight, but if the person is a conscious and thinking individual, they will see what behaviors garner positive responses and which don't. And if they aren't a…

Which is why I didn't bother to take it up with them and chose to mute them instead. There's very little reason to strain my mental health over arguing with someone on the internet about something they posted out of anger over the current poltical climate, even if I consider it a red flag. Fact of the matter is, I'm not her boy friend. If I was, I'd ask her what the deal is.

There's a difference between "Plenty" and "Most", mate. You can find a Large Minority group, but it's still a minority. Do I try to keep the ones that don't as friends and hope quietly that the other ones will see the truth one day? Yeah.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates06/10/21 04:40 PM
12

Ooooof, yeah. Anyone telling anyone they're phobic for not being into someone else is always just big sads that they weren't chosen. We don't get to choose our preferences. We can TRY to expand our understanding, but that's the for the individual to decide where and when.

Doing what I need to do for my own mental health and well being IS a good call, and it is mine, thank you very much. If you want to take it up with the poster, then by all means, but I'm not going to condemn anyone for choosing their mental health over starting an argument they feel won't amount to anything and won't change anyone's mind.

So, this is one of many similar posts I've seen lately that just seem blatantly misandric. You haven't refuted anything. You have provided no links and no science to back your claims. I have. I said Black Men and White Men shouldn't be grouped together in stats. And that we shouldn't treat the number of Black Women being harmed as being accurate either because The Police are baised in how they report crimes and who they arrest. They're also raping them. You haven't posted anything to prove your point or to refute mine.

/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates22/06/20 07:07 AM

Really? Because I've posted to three different people after linking multiple stats that show that these groups can't be treated the same, and said "We can't treat these groups the same" and what I got from all of you has basically been "You didn't prove us wrong!" Which kind of shows that all of you had a fundamental misconception of what was being argued or you didn't want to read the data or what I wrote. I'm gonna go with the latter because I was pretty damn thorough.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates22/06/20 06:15 AM

I care about Men Doofus. I just have the scientific and statistical understanding to know White Men and Black Men shouldn't be treated as the same group in any Stat setting dealing with as much systemic racism as my country. Thank you for not bothering to read anything I posted or any of the data I linked you that shows that.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates22/06/20 05:48 AM

No Doofus. Go back over what I wrote slowly. Read. Think. I said that you can't put Black Men being shot and White Being shot in the same group because Black Men are largely being shot unarmed and White Men are largely being shot armed. You can't just say "Gender is what does it!" The populations are different relative to the size of the country and how often they are being shot and why. You can't treat them the same.

Simply put, there were men right from the get go that saw the structure of our current society and said "Separate but equal cannot be." And realized women deserved the same equality under the laws that had been constructed by Men, largely in benefit to us due to the sacrifice expected by us. But still, the unequal representation in the law and in the system would always lead to a continual hostility between the sexes. I could not tell you for certain which one is responsible for this because the…

Eh, at this point, I've argued the same point along so many other threads on here, I've lost track of whom I'm arguing with. You guys post volumes or work, but you don't say enough, much less to justify what I see as a really shitty attitude. Just because I compliment one other redditor doesn't mean your work is bad. I ended my first relationship over her hitting me. I never touched her I just said "Fuck you, and have a nice day." Well, now you're using poor language and jumping to a conclusion that didn't exist. I can't decide if that means your sense of Femininity is weak or that your Masculinity is so fragile that meeting any counter ideas makes you angry. Edit: also, he never said that in yours and his thread. Which means you're seeing things that aren't there. Like victories you never achieved.
/r/MensRights27/11/19 11:49 AM

Or maybe his sense of Femininity is strong enough that he understands your perception of what his masculinity needs to be is not necessary to the whole of his being? Nothing he said was violent. Just that he didn't accept your strict definition.

Yes, you do realize things like Boxing have tiers like Feather weight, Heavy Weight, Super Heavy Weight to separate fighters based on size? While it's not the exact same measure as skill, you can generally assume a Feather Weight will not beat a Super Heavy Weight. Generally speaking you want people around the same size to fight each other.

Now you're Ad Homineming my status as an MRA all because you aren't getting your way, and you don't have the science to back up your view. Just admit you hate women, bruh.
/r/MensRights26/11/19 10:32 PM
-2

I don't assume it, mate. I'm just saying you are writing too long of a post considering you don't have the sources to SHOW why women took those incentives, and to assume they did it out of greed is unscientific. Also, considering how much this movement values cited sources, I'd say I'm doing a better job than you, homie, because I'm nit making an assumption, I am proposing an idea. You need to quit using so much Ad Hominem in your research because it's corrupting the way you collect data.
/r/MensRights26/11/19 10:13 PM

I think what those of us that think this is b.s. are saying is that women making money tax free, much less performing sex work, which WOULD be easily more taxed if it was legal, shouldn't have their lives ruined or have doing so be made into a Men's Rights issue because it really doesn't benefit Men when Sex Workers are afraid to perform services mostly to Men that can't get sexual satisfaction anywhere else.

We'll see, mate. My final point still stands that this was a desperate ploy by the Dems that could easily have more impact than less on the way accusations are handled. You do not use a tactic that could ruin a man's reputation for the rest of his life and expect no counter reaction from it. The small technical changes to his judicial philosophy because of this could always alter the vote on other cases. Men suffer the most from child custody and alimony laws, and the tldr of it all is that as long as Men cannot love women as equals, they will never see a need to change the status quo. I've read a few of the posts. While I happily consider myself a WRA as well as an MRA, I can't take anyone seriously that actually thinks we need hyphenate every open statement seemingly with "Women have it worse, but..." I mean, not everything that affects one sex necessarily is something that other sex actually faces. Men and women have issues that interconnect in a lot of ways, because most sexism is interconnected, but there's frankly issues that affect one sex and not the other as well.

I agree with your idea that we need more WRA's. I disagree wholly though with the notion of using WRA's as a shield from Feminists and the rest of the world. We are bound by ethics and morality to support and denounce the oppressions of all people everywhere at the very least by The Golden Rule, not because we want to use other human beings as shields but because choosing to not vouch for other's rights violates our justification to vouch for our own.

Well, Generally speaking I have seen in the work place, and witnessed my own mother's tireless efforts to actually get recognized for their and her work. My mom is now one of the executive Sue Chefs of the Orange County Convention Center and basically the one who makes certain everything works the way it should. She manages an entire Convention Center that does multiple super conventions every year, week after week and she makes certain that everything is where it needs to be on time. She's basi…

Do people really have different mating tactics though? The modern world and especially cellular technology have changed the dating scene completely. For the most part men and women seem to share space with each other and get to know each other best through casual social interaction, rather than the old Man approaching the woman method. Things now are very...indirect. I personally think that grassroots feminism is good compared to the Neo-Liberal iteration. I don't think its goal is to emasculate…

I don't understand how you can downplay sexual assault or rape, man. Also, that's an australlian piece. While I get Men's Rights are universal, sex culture and rape culture are kind of different in America.
/r/MensRights06/12/17 07:12 AM

Well that's not good rediquette, man. So sorry, but downvote. Gotta add something to the discussion. And so far, all you've brought to the table is your bitterness, and nothing about how to be a better MRA or the way you practice being an MRA. And you can't tell me no matter how hard you try that being selfish is good for the perception of men to the world. I hope you have a good day, and that you back gets better.
/r/MensRights06/12/17 02:58 AM

I'd say you're more referring to Neo-Liberalism on the whole. It's simply put, not just Establishment Feminism (i.e. NOW) that's responsible, but Progressive ends bought at the expense of giving more power to the state. Much as I appreciated his speaking ability, Obama was quite possibly one of the most Neo-Liberal presidents to date. Simply put, Human Rights in society should not be granted from the top down, they should be won from the bottom up.

I never said you were mean. I just said: I'm not. I'm sorry for your pain though. You did a lot of good work.

I'm just not a mean guy? At least I try not to be in discourse. The only thing I disagree to, friend, is someone stamping on the rights of others. At that point, yeah, I get a little vehement. I'll happily stand for for my own rights, but doing so does not mean I have to stop vouching for others, and vouching for the rights of others does not contradict vouching for my own. Your perception of reality and how to interact with people is flawed. The greatest strength in life lies in helping others …

If that's what you were trying to say man, you went around a damn mountain, jumped over a skyscraper, and literally swam a damn ocean. I don't disagree, more needs to be done, but man, you don't think trying to call it Feminism Inc makes it out to be more than just a political movement for women's rights? That it doesn't sound at all like a conspiracy? Anyway, good talk.
/r/MensRights05/12/17 11:27 PM
2

You're denigrating my points by trying to call them Feminist ones. You're already assuming you're correct by that bias. I feel very little shame in calling out that a conspiracy of women trying to emasculate all men seems far fetched and at the very least not as big a threat to the mutual rights of humanity as this current administration is.
/r/MensRights05/12/17 09:05 PM
2

...Wow. You are pretty far gone. I don't come up with Feminist points, mate. They're Human Rights points. Women's Rights are Human Rights and Men's Rights are human rights. So, yeah, I'm gonna be that guy. There is no conspiracy man. The heads of NOW might be a little zealotous but you're reaching pretty hard if you think women around the world wre making up sexual harrasment and assault claims so they can dethrone and emasculate all men or something.

Putting yourself first takes very little effort, man. Altruism pays back the energy you give if you're honest about it. People appreciate you helping them and they help you in turn. Surviving isn't hard. Taking on other people's problems also makes you stronger. Again, your perception of how Altruism works is flawed. It does not mean helping others without any sense for yourself, it just means using extra energy that I could be using for myself for the sake of others. It's not a hard concept to …

But men are not the majority of single parents, my friend. That's the point. Women are still on the whole, more discriminated against. Life for a single dad is rough, and yes it adds the problems a woman faces on top of being a guy, and how society views men is not all that great, that's why I think it's important to have an active role in helping people, men and women around you, to show that stereo type is a false one, but at the same time our society still discriminates against women that are…

You need citation for that statement that women earn more than men and at what economic level are we talking. These days, not so much because the rights of others besides us are being infringed upon. I never said we were either Liberal SJW or Red Pillers, I know for fact we are not, but if I ever bring up the MRM to either side, I have to deal with that persons incorrect assumptions about what the MRM is.

Free conception is kind of a big issue. Women have trouble finding jobs when they're pregnant, man. Because children that aren't cared for are usually a cost to the state in the long run anyway it make sense for the government to provide free contraception to women AND men, but we do live in a capitalistic society, however, frankly, we could have universal healthcare and if not, simply a much cheaper healthcare system than we do now which could justify these items being a reduced price. /r/MensRights26/11/16 09:45 PM

But as the "leader" of the group, Steve Bannon Heiling and getting applause from the rest of the people in the room and even some return Heils counts for something, at least a nice chunk of skepticism of their noble intentions. Fair enough. And I agree, to this day this sub is one of the few I enjoy talking on, because I can always have a decent talk with my fellows. This shit here We aren't even MENTIONED in the fucking article, can't find MRA's or Men's rights with a basic CTRL-F so I don't know why it's on our damn Sub, if we're not aligned with one group or another.
/r/MensRights26/11/16 09:09 PM

I grew up in Florida, so I'm fairly used to the idea of not aligning with either group, and in the past when Conservatives just focused on Economics belonging to either spectrum was a non-issue. Now, it's just daunting. I've never felt off for trying to talk someone about their political views, when they can tell me with a straight face that "Heiling" has nothing to do with being a Nazi. Also, unfortunately, I've found posts on here equating us as being members of the Alt-Right, so....yeah.
/r/MensRights26/11/16 09:03 PM

Dude, no. Culture is separate from Race. Anyone can enjoy someone else's culture and embrace it, but American culture stopped being solely "white" a long time ago. Expecting people to embrace "white culture" to achieve the middle class status is utterly asinine. You won't create a strong morale within the people of your nation by denying them the ability to embrace their own identity along side your own.

I just love the fact that he said "Men experience sexism too." Not "Men have it worse, why won't anyone listen to me?!" at the top of his lungs, he just said he experienced the objectification and that he didn't like it. And now he's being mocked for showing his feelings by the women who always say they want men to be aware of sexism. GG, ladies.

At the very least, the article brings up the fact that a lot of discrimination against men having a space to talk about their problems has been attributed to biases against us because people believe we are in the dominant role of society, and that idea is preventing us from opening up in the first place.

Friend, I studied it off and on in college, including my friends who studied it as well. I observed, and yeah, I saw the flaws in their perception on masculinity as far as certain elements of toxicity, but over all the feminist movement is egalitarian, it merely focuses on women's rights. Yeah, there are Rad fems, and they're silly little buggers, but they're no more representative of the movement than RooshV is of the MRA's.

I have already posted about this, whether we like it or not, this needs to be dealt with. I am perfectly willing to stage protests against this ass hat. We have to show people we want equality, not some trite version of sexual division where we return to the 1950's.

Lol. Fantastic logic. And yeah, men have rights, just not the ones we want, and no, Feminists don't want to destroy everything masculine. The vast majority want equality, just like we do, they just want to fight for their own rights, which as an MRA we can't really condemn that as an idea while fighting for our own, especially considering that the founder of the movement, Warren Farrell, still very much considers himself an advocate for women's rights, as do I. If you don't like it, tough.

Dude, once again, no I wasn't issuing a Fatwa, and if that's what you think a protest is then your perception is severely impaired. Also, when it's this much information coming in from all my news feeds, I hardly say it counts as second hand information. I asked if someone would help me stage a protest, that was a question to see whether anyone would be willing, regardless of whether it would be true or not. So, no, it's not false. I'm not issuing a fatwa, I'm asking for answers. If you don't like the 'tone' of my statements, perhaps you should go argue semantics elsewhere, because I really don't care whether the title was poorly written or not. I will not sit idly by when asshats like this make us look bad. Dude, every movement needs self policing. Last time I checked that was a big issue within the Feminist movement, a lack policement to the more radical members of the group that has made little to no effort or made direct efforts to infringe on the rights of men, and that in part was one of the many reasons the MRA's were formed in the first place, outside of the many issues men face in the real world which believes we are largely incapable of being anything more than beasts. I have no problem with us reviewing and even commenting on shit that is "click bait" because honestly, we need to stay informed of the perception the Feminist movement is trying to paint us as. I feel to a large to degree, a great deal of sympathy for male to female transgendered people, as I've been close friends to both a FtM and an MtF. They both received an incredible amount of harsh language from the respective sex that they were transitioning into, and while they did receive it from the side they had left as well, it always seemed prevalent that the worst came from the group they were trying to become a part of. Anecdotal experience, not worth much, but there it is.

Knowing history betters the world, but it is not the world as it is. I think we also know, that Silverman's death and the nature of it did not go unnoticed. It's likely that his actions have sparked a desire for Male Domestic Violence Shelters within several other Humans Rights Movements. My point still stands, the OP has found some evidence of hope, using history to squash hope does not do Silverman's death justice, or the hope he likely created through his efforts. Yeah, in all honesty, the views of a large part of the movement, even though the book was written in 1993 or so, can be generalized within it, and are still relevant today. The Myth Of Male Power also does a better job of explaining Warren Farrel's perspective on Feminism, and how he fell away from it. I find the idea that he tries to create a sense of apathy against women interesting. To me it just seems like he's justifying not showing empathy, dually not showing hostility, but he might still show empathy to other men, which to me is a form of non-violent misogyny. I do however agree that living a life focsed on what you enjoy is a more wholesom existence. I know, but the Vigilanteism of Peter Nolan, could translate down the line, if the movement were 'inspired by' rather than 'repulsed by' his actions, imparting his sort of 'witch hunting' against people who file False Rape Reports as a form of legislation, assuming we gain a political foot hold in the Western governments, would be disastrous for any equality movement. I'm fine with repeat or maliscious rape reports being penalized becase those fall under Prejury.

I don't think victims are superior to others. Victims are victims, male or female, Rape Victim or Falsely Accused, I'm referring the punishment women receiving being statistically 40% or less than that of men. If that translates, which I think it would, to the courts regarding rape we'd see more men imprisoned for "False Rape Claim" than we would of women.

Punishing Prejury is different from what I perceive to be "False Rape As A Crime" as depicted by the MRA reddit to be. Punishing Prejury is "You've sworn to tell the truth and been caught in a lie during the proceedings of examing the crime during trial." This is legitimate. False Rape is "You've filed a rape report, it's gone to trial, and during the proceedings of the trial, your evidence was found to be insufficient for the courts to convinct the 'accused.' That's the impression I've been getting from all the debates I've been reading regarding the False Rapes. Also, I can see the straw man your pointing out a bit, but not the false dichotomy, can you elaborate?

How would the process for "counter-doxxing" work though? These are questions we need to ask ourselves if we're going to change society down to even the court level. A review perhaps of the "victims" case to be pursued by the "accused?" Like a separate court hearing after the initial trial has found the "accused" not guilty? That's the best thing I can come up with.

I don't think Peter Nolan should be punished. I think he should be eschewed and avoided, and I think we should use him as an example of what not to become.

While I have observed a lot of people talking about punishing false rape accusations, I don't want to believe that the MRA would advocate for it. I will not end well for us as a group to create a stigma surrounding reporting rape for anyone. I agree though, the system NEEDS to be more willing to punish female sexual assaulters, but majority of the reason we get involved with these False Rape Cases is because more often than not the male accused has his reputation and life ruined by it. Here's th…

The words you use just reek of "regular troll." The shit I'm "concerned" about, particularly with this, is kind of close to home, because if I was punished for accusing my rapist (not a female, but still) and I could be punished for it, becuase there "wasn't enough evidence" I can tell you, hell yes, I would feel afraid to come out and say "Hey I was raped, can I get some Justice here for what happened to me?"

Negative, that is not what I'm implying at all, and yes men usually aren't believed when they say their raped, and no that's not the way my logic works. Let me break it down for you in a formula: (Social stigma surrounding men not being capable of being raped+A Punishment for anyone found to have filed a false rape report [or a TRUE rape report that was found 'lacking evidence in court' i.e. the accused was female and the court had a feminist bias, which we already argue for most cases of assult…

Unless you are all of reddit, that's a pretty wide brush you're stroking with. Justice, or any other moral imperative, should not be invoked in the name of petty revenge, and that's all Peter Nolan is committing, revenge for the men falsely accused of rape. Yes false rape accusations damage the reputations of men, but simple reputation pale in the comparison to the idea of creating more social stigma surrounding reporting an assult of any kind. It would be better "Justice" I think to ommit the n…

where is the logic here Um that society already has trouble believing that men can be raped, trying to get false rape accusations made as a part of the justice system will ultimately make things harder for men to find justice for being the victims of rape and will make them more frightened about coming out about it? big ol' citation needed here. It's kind of hard to cite distinct links about female sexual assaulters getting off scott free, since our society still thinks as a whole women aren't c…

I'm not proposing secret courts at all. I just think the press shouldn't be granted knowledge or at least be given the names of those tried. I'd prefer the victim to be able to face the accuser, preventing the media from knowing his or her name won't prevent that. Women DO make false rape accusations, but consider the alternative, a man accuses a woman of rape, and the court finds her innocent and then believes he has made a false rape accusation. He goes to jail. How do you respond now?

I really find the idea of "False Rape Accusation" punishment to be...not productive. It would be better if the accused name was kept from the presses, as well as the 'victim.' Punishing someone for Falely Accusing anyone of rape is a deterant towards speaking out about something horrid, especially if the courts can find you guilty when you are in fact innocent.

I'm actually fairly abolitionist, I also find that word very interesting to use in this context, because in many regards the prison system, through the Capitalist system could very well create a new labor class in America.

Which, ultimately is why I decided to bring this here. While I think awareness that Female rape of a male needs to be raised, I don't think we can justify raising awareness of one and not try to understand the social implications behind both, and we won't find out the true amount of men Raped, unless we start talking about it openly.

But what about the idea of "Teaching Men Not to Rape,"? I run into the idea a lot, and quite frankly it pisses me off a great deal, but the concept of teaching human beings from a young age to respect each other and the boundaries of each other, could that not also be a form of "preventative measure"? Ultimately, I think this form of Human Rights Education would benefit everyone, as long as it was taught to both men and women, but I am worried about the potential that men alone will be blamed fo…

Wait, you think that Female on Male rape exceeds Male on Male rape? While I'm not saying you're wrong, the stigma associated with both must be strong, but calling someone a "victim" of female on Male rape seems harder to the general populace, I think part of that is because know it doesn't happen as often Male on Male, but I could be wrong. I could definitely see how, if a man was raped by a woman, the stigma would cow him into not telling people, so we don't have a good grasp on the the number …

I actually hate the term "survivor" myself, but in all honesty the other term is "victim," which implies that you haven't moved on or the act itself was very recent. It's not that I think the female on male rape shouldn't be discussed, but I don't see ANYTHING about us discussing Male/Male rape, except with regards to prison talk. A lot of it happens OUTSIDE the prison, and I think one of the main reasons males don't talk about it is because of the stigma society shows towards male rape victims.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
