I heard a while back, and I can't seem to find the damn thread I read about it in, and I also did not have the intelligence to look at it when I first saw it, but I once heard about a Registration Act for women, supposedly equivalent to the Draft, that in dire need for new labor, military fighters and what not, the government would introduce some kind of Pregnancy Act for women if the population of USA, or perhaps the UK, dropped below a certain thresh hold.

I've done Google Searches but I've yielded nothing. Has anyone else heard about this shit? Or was it just in reference to the fact that women might soon be eligible for the Selective Service as well because the doors were opened for them to join the military? The latter is something I DO know, but the former was just something I saw and now I'm curious.
