They set the bar too high on both sides. I remember listening to the bald guy in the car and he said he had a client that was like 35 and made 300k/yr, dude said his client wasn't making enough for his age that he should be making 3 million. They also recommend you have a body count of atleast 50 before you start looking for a long term relationship. It's all a bunch of shit.

It's not all bad. I agree with some of it. I think guys that start are usually in red pill rage and they try too hard to be what they think is alpha. They come off as assholes. Most of them were burned by a cluster B and it's understandable.

One of them said in a podcast that if his girl acts up, he goes to one of his side pieces and videos him hooking up with her and sends it to his girl. This and "dread game" and negging.. are narcissistic tactics that create trauma bonds.

I feel the same and I'll definitely check that out! Watching their YT channels is like watching hard core conspiracy channels. Just made me feel anxious and depressed lol. Like there's no point of even trying bc we are all screwed.

Overall, the PUA said the dude was too short and too fat (I believe he was 5'6" and 18%bf) and needed to become jacked and make more money. Also mentioned that he needed more social proof on his IG (the Dan Bilzerian thing). It all seems so superficial and it's going to attract gold diggers. $300k a year is way more than enough. If someone's not happy with that, more money isn't the answer..

Thank you. A lot of what they teach doesn't feel right and they say it's beta male conditioning that disney indoctrinated us with. I disagree. TRP "game" is so similar to the NPD cycle of push pull that it made me sick and I didn't want to be that.

I fell in love with an average looking woman that was 10 yrs older than me. It was her personality that won me over and she was the most fun I've ever had with a gf. Attraction grew quickly over a short time. I've also dated what my friends would consider a 9/10, she was boring with the personality of an ant. I lost attraction for her.. So that's another thing that the manosphere has wrong. Also the "9" left her ex for me and he made much more money than I did. So much for hypergamy..

I started going to AA while the ex and I were broken up, but like an idiot, I'd keep going back to her. Yes, makes sense. I just think TRP community sets standards really high on both sides. For women, they have to be younger than 30, no kids, never married and a 9 or 10 in looks. For men, they have to make millions and live like Dan Bilzerian. And you can't have oneitus or else she'll leave you.. so what does that mean? Be a player and cheat?

Thank you. Today makes 40 days sober and will start going to meetings soon. I've also been working with a therapist who's been very helpful. My ex is extremely toxic and is trying to come back to my home town(travel RN). I think she heard I was doing good and wants to finish me off. I won't let her.

Yea, I see what you mean. I'm mid 30s, just quit drinking and got out of a very toxic relationship. Didn't want to go mgtow, but tpr sounded good for the most part in the beginning(again I was drinking heavily). I feel like they sprinkle in some good info, like don't chase women and work on yourself, but things like dread game started to turn me off.
