I researched this movie lately and kindof hated it. I absolutely hated how whiny the boyfriend was. And I also hated the ending, where Andy fucks off and bails on Miranda. Give a two week notice like a respectable human. She really didn't have to walk out to "prove a point". She could have made her point by giving her notice then and there. Also, Emily was awful to her. She had no reason to feel bad for taking her position in Paris in my opinion. If Emily had a problem with that, Emily only has …

One of my best friends started dating a couple, then they broke up with her. Then the couple broke up. Then the male got back together with my friend, and they're engaged now. No longer poly. Had another friend who was poly with his partner of many years (same city as the "throuple", very open minded there) and he had a secondary who eventually became his primary when he and his primary split up. That was a few years ago, I think they're still together now, and poly from the start. I don't know …

This article validates my thoughts that polyamory is for people who don't mind settling, people who are so adamant about not being alone that they'll be with someone they don't feel in love with, but comfortable with, the bare minimum. I'd rather be alone than not together with my one true love. I definitely don't need some "comfortable" relationship that allows me to fuck people I like better who won't even commit to me. One lover is enough anyway, someone please tell me how people have time an…

My hvm showed up after I had decided true happiness had nothing to do with men. I was ready to be single forever, no more kisses, cuddles, sex, live on my own, have a great career, and get some animals. I now feel like it's true that they only come along when you're completely happy being alone and not missing the affection. The reason I didn't miss affection at the time was because it wasn't worth the emotional turmoil of a relationship. It's funny how true love finally came to me only after I …

Totally agree with all that. No we can't help her, but making her feel like an idiot for the man she chose to be with (who knows, maybe he was an amazing guy at first.... I have plenty of exes who started as perfect boyfriends and ended up being horrible) would only make her feel even worse if she happened upon this post, which I hope she doesn't. Because the post feels like it's using her as an example of what a woman does wrong, instead of shaming the scrote for dropping babies.

I don't like the title of this. Kindof shifts the blame off the man who drops baby to the woman because she had a baby with him. Just something to think about. ETA: this woman may have made a mistake 18 months ago, and possibly has leveled up since. I think it's pretty clear she's starting to hate him as she rightfully should because of his negligence. But the damage is done so I don't see a reason to shame her for procreating with an LVM. No disrespect OP, I just think we should lift each other…

Men dating 18 year olds or watching 18 year old porn basically says one thing about them... If they could go lower, they would.

Absolutely feel the same way. 29, never having kids, never getting married. Dunno what I'll do when I'm old but I definitely don't want some grouchy old man in my face, that's for sure.

To me, it's a red flag if their read receipts are off. For instance, I've been texting a guy for a few weeks now, and his have been off the entire time, including activity status. About a week ago, he made the mistake of telling me he was avoiding a friend on WhatsApp he had made plans with, but didn't want to follow through with.. my first thought was, at some point, he's going to do the same thing to me if I keep this up. To me, it's no different than dishonesty. If I'm actually too busy to re…
