I don’t know enough about the law but she should sue him for some type of emotional distress. She should also tell the judge that his evil and vindictive behavior is a dangerous and emotionally abusive environment for his children and if it wasn’t for his jealousy she wouldn’t have had to lose her employment unfairly. She should also look into suing her employer if possible.

I used to be insecure pickme like this. Dated a guy that was 37 when I was 21. He put me down and it took a long time for me to realize he should have been thanking god to have me! And my little/no self confidence is the reason why he targeted me and I took the bait. A man that has no type of problem with this kind of age difference is not to be trusted and does not have good intentions. He’ll break that poor girls heart soon enough. But hopefully she finds a way to us!

That’s up for you to decide. I’ve had to do this and simply told them “There’s no I’ll feeling but at this point in my life I want to make changes and that means changes in my relationships. Unfortunately I think I have outgrown our relationship”. But again it’s tricky because if she asks why you have to explain what happened years ago which honestly makes it look like the nonsense that it is because it shouldn’t have gone on that long. A friendship with mutual respect is nice, no matter how long. If you wouldn’t keep a relationship that started rocky with a man, why would you do it with a friend? It kinda seems like OP either wants to subconsciously suffer, keeps her around so that she feels better about herself because she isn’t like that, or plans to use all of this against her “friend” to finally have the one up. This is the part of the story that seems weird to me. The stuff with her insecurities with her boyfriend are repairable but this fake relationship with this other woman isn’t okay.

I can speak from experience on this personally. The problem with most people that have bipolar disorder is once you get on the right combination of meds you start to feel great and normal for once. So much so you convince yourself you don’t need the medication anymore. Mental illness can be tricky especially if you aren’t in therapy and taking meds, as well as making lifestyle changes. No to makes excuses for him but just my two cents. Also as a person with mental illness I never recommend anyon…
