I think this is the male form of moving the goalposts. These guys, instead of making the treacherous ascent to the mountain peak, seem to want to redefine the peak to be wherever they're standing.

It seems to me that you haven't. How does one describe betterness in a man? I might describe it in any number of ways: Dominance Access to resources Genetic quality Physical attractiveness Skills All of these can be measured somehow. All of these relate to status. All of these make vaginas tingle and pussies wet.

The whole "women control the supply of sex; men control the supply of commitment"? Yeah, that still applies. The game goes on whether you want to "opt out" or not.

Accepting reality and using it to further oneself in the world? Is this not the entire point of TRP? If somebody is dissatisfied with their sex drive, muscle mass, or general well-being due to having too little testosterone then I don't see the problem with solving the problem.

/r/MensRights welcomes you with open arms. /r/TheRedPill does not. A wise man by the name of Rumi once said, "Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself."

I've heard it said that pleasure is what feels good right now, that happiness comes from being successful in your relationships with people, and satisfaction is your good feelings about your overall being. Pain cancels out pleasure. Unhappiness stems from bad relationships instead of good ones. And dissatisfaction comes from disliking your overall state of pleasure vs. pain or happiness vs. unhappiness. Pleasure is quick and intense--very volatile. Happiness is slower and less reactionary than p…

On the other hand, hopping on gear to gain a fuckload of mass and then coming off and letting your natty test recover can help you reach your natty limit much quicker. The real problem is possibly permanently screwing up your endocrine system while it's still developing (younger than 22-25, apparently) which is really the only reason I haven't hopped on yet. Of course, if you're naturally low test then you might want to blast and cruise indefinitely. Better living through chemistry.

What specifically should one do to exercise one's "funny-ness"? Improv? Crack a bunch of lame jokes in everyday conversations? I have an extremely dry wit that most people don't catch. How do I make my humor more accessible?

Natural selection doesn't give a rat's ass about things we call overpopulation. Some rabbit species, for example, go through regular intervals of population explosion swiftly followed by mass dyings. Survival of the reproductively fittest. Genghis Khan survives through >15,000,000 people living today. My blue eyes will be inherited by the next generation of kings and dictators. The world turns. Life goes on. Nature doesn't give a fuck.

I have no doubt. I'm trying to convey the notion that it's much harder to recognize an overall "trade deficit" if they don't interact solely with a small group of people. Only in a small group can everyone personally know everyone else.

I think your mistake is thinking of females as friends in the same way that you think of males as friends. They're fundamentally different. Being "friends" with a woman doesn't mean being an emotional tampon. That's a beta orbiting strategy, but you don't want to get it on with her. In an intimate relationship, men and women bring value to the table in fundamentally different ways; in a friendship this remains true. Imagine the situation like that of a river. You've got guys on one bank of the r…

Since your very-close to medium-close social network is quite limited in number, it's not very difficult to figure out if someone is a leech. Think of it like a country: "imports" are taking and "exports" are giving. And everybody knows your current balance because women gossip. Gossip isn't idle chit-chat, it's how the group disseminates somebody's value. It's like a distributed ledger, where your imports and exports are tallied up and the goal is to balance the two at zero. Too much on the exp…

There are in-group and out-group behaviors. Everyone is quite capable of having little to no empathy for the out-group, but they have that emotional this is my group protectiveness and sympathy and mutual reciprocation with their in-group. It pays for you to be really good to your family and friends and really shitty to your competition. If we really want to get pseudo-scientific up in here, then we can say that it's good for the tribe to stick together. If you're sociopathic (put in less than y…

You know who a hot female knows? Other hot females. Dozens of them. Let's say 24. That means that having just three hot female friends (with separate social networks) means that I'm no more than two steps removed from 72 hot female friends-of-friends. And they've all heard of me. Can you see why this might be useful?

The Industrial Revolution really started to hit its stride around the middle to late 1800s. Agricultural society is firmly patriarchal, but it seems that post-agricultural society is not. I wouldn't even call it matriarchal; in my view we would need a birthrate at least equal to the replacement rate for that.

There's a fantasy idea put about this forum that you should become an entrepreneur, find some get-rich-quick scheme that prints money while you sleep, and retire to a tropical island by the time you're 30. The reality is that there are no get-rich-quick schemes, most people don't have the personality type to be entrepreneurs... Pease elaborate more specifically on your sense of style. Jacket cuts, materials, pant fit (esp. where it meets the shoe), pocket squares, and shoes. For example, I find it hard to believe that shoe quality scales linearly with price. What should I be looking for in a shoe? For that matter, what should I be looking for in a tailor? I'm young and poor, so what do I do in this regard?

Thus far in my life I've had to satisfy my intellectual curiosity with literature. It's very much a one-sided conversation. Admittedly, I'm quite young so I haven't had as many options as some people may have as they become older. I'm going into college, and my main concern at the moment is that I'm not going to find that core group of ridiculously smart people. You're right, if you want to be pedantic and miss the point. If you're willing to assume that perhaps I'm not an idiot, we can also assume that by natural selection, I mean natural selection minus artificial societal constructs. You know, because there has arisen a divergence between those who are "most fit" in ability to accumulate economic resources and those who are "most fit" in actual reproduction. The higher your status, the fewer babies you have.

We all share the same air but we all live in very different worlds, there are multiple social classes, personality types, power games and different cultures and social conventions all running paradoxically side-by-side on a day-to-day basis...
