I hear you but it’s already proved worthwhile with the mediator and my attorney said it proves even more so that I’m not. I proactively offered soberlink for 3 months. Given how far she’s willing to go, I’m more than happy to not drink for a little.

Just had a meeting with the mediator and she really liked that I was using a breathalyzer and wondered why my STBX wouldn’t accept the results. It helped with credibility for me and opposite for her.

I do agree on the second part but I’m extremely active in their life. Just bringing some levity to a rough situation.

Traveling solo is fun. Once you get the first one out of the way, you’ll be hooked. Can’t wait to do it again. There are a lot of great places, and you can easily take trains through the countryside. Amsterdam-Paris-London would be a great first Europe trip.

Good to know. I won’t be drinking for a while. I don’t need it. I didn’t realize 3-5 drink once or twice a weekend was much. And not every weekend.

No. I only have drinks on Friday and Saturday. Nothing too crazy. She doesn’t drink at all and gets mad when I don’t want to talk to her constantly.

I have a friend who did the same thing. He had to find a specialized attorney who’s dealt with it before. There was precedent in his state (CO) with other cases that he used to keep custody and win. That’s awesome you want to stay in his life.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
