Right? My legs are lasered, hydrated, and a few other adjectives that are desirable. We probably all have a very low sub rate to ska here bc we figured out how to groom before freshman year

Incels are involuntarily celibate. We're voluntarily finding men who can actually contribute to a relationship in all facets. So many fucking idiots out there 😂🤣

This is how I react to hearing someone bragging about it. Men's egos are more sensitive than their testes. I would definitely not try to win my man back by sucking harder. And I definitely believe those who are speaking up that they've met these kinds of lvm

If I'm wrong, I'm sorry. I do believe like 90% of male sexual boasting is fabricated. Either way, it's a good lesson why you never rush into things based off a couple good months. May your next man be the opposite :)

In other things that never happened, my student loans were forgiven and when I woke up today my breasts grew two cups 🙄 Whoever wrote this hasn't had oral from a biological woman since maybe that one time sophomore year and hasn't stopped obsessing over never having it again.

I think it gets lost with sexual empowerment. We tell women all the time to try and be like men with sex bc we're equal. Except we're not, bc of biology and society. I do support women being free sexually. There should be no shame or guilt for doing what we want. It's our bodies. It might be impractical to finding a relationship, but I'll never condemn a woman for her sexual lifestyle. But that's entirely unrelated to decriminalizing sex work. I don't say a woman should be free from legal persec…

The content seems like what you get from the general female population. Sorta to be expected. It's the mods, who I think tend to look at user's subs, who will do things like block a post bc it's not interesting enough, or it's asking people to read minds, etc. And I could scroll the posts of the day and see stuff up like, do u eat bread? Or, my MIL doesn't text me back, instead tells my husband, why does she do this? And I'm like, hmm, these mods suck, byeeee

Any man who says this when the issue of rape and sexual assault is brought up, or who says it can happen to men too, is instantly my enemy and I'm done with them. And it's not like I don't agree with them, bc I known both of those things are true. I just can't be around a person who is that insensitive and oblivious to what women survive. How sick is a man who thinks that's a good time to make things about him. Hell no

I think it's a balance for women to be sexually liberated, in control of their own bodies, and free of judgement, with becoming shallow sex objects that end up encouraging men to treat women worse than they already do. These bitches broke the scale, damn.

It breaks my heart. I think the second the father called me grouchy bc I had a human growing in me and my body diverting all resources for them, I would leave. Yes, I agree. A lot of people have misunderstood my comments to mean that I'm unsympathetic to other's financial situation. I'm not, I've been there before. I commented based on the purpose of this sub. What this man did was wonderful, but a single grand gesture doesn't make a HVM. Many guys do in the beginning and then never actually improve a woman's life. It's a wonderful thing to see, but maybe better for elsewhere, that's all

I am still in disbelief that this is on the fds sub. This is not queen energy. Content like this picture feels good. It does. But the goal here is to increase our own individual value, and find a man who recognizes it, appreciates it, and then adds to it. There are plenty of other places to complain about poverty and capitalism.

That's one way to look at it, and I have sympathy for people in that position, I really do. If it were me, I would not be ok living paycheck to paycheck. I would not be ok being unable to do things I enjoy, such as traveling. Fixing that would be a top priority. There's not a man who could enter my life while working on financial stability, unless he's actually helping me with it. Bc if he's in the same situation I am, then spending time with him is spending time away from improving myself. And …

I work in healthcare and the back of my hand probably does brush against breasts sometimes. The bathroom thing, you could have been monitored as a fall risk for a number of reasons. We see bodies totally different at work. And I'd like to reassure people that they're safe in the hospital. But we all know that we're never completely safe from men. Basically, there are explanations as to why those things happened, but your concerns are still warranted. Asking for a female worker or going with a fr…

Refreshing to reread, but it doesn't address what I was saying. That applying queen energy and other fds principles, everything checked out. Except where I'm used to a very forward or even aggressive pursuit, my bf was more laid back and at times, shy. I believe he was just inexperienced or had a few bad relationships. After being together for a while, that hesitancy went away, and he's meeting or surpassing expectations.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/06/20 05:07 AM

I don't think about it much, but I think the shyness was a bit of fear of rejection or liking me and then it not working out. I think people have always liked him bc he's a great guy. But romantic relationships are different and it's possible he had less confidence. Like, he has plenty of confidence and charisma as a boyfriend, but not taking the initial interest to the exclusive stage

No, don't be sorry! I'm not here to be told I do everything right. He's very, very proud of me and happy he's with me. I was just telling someone else that he's not passive, like that way all the time. He was just shy in the beginning, like he was scared of me or something. But as we've been together he's not like that at all. If I considered that a red flag in the beginning, and I almost did, would have meant losing a great man. He's definitely not passive, and the assumption that shy guys are is part of the reason I thought it was a good topic to explore. He does so much. His house, immaculate. I have never had to carry anything other than my purse. He volunteers to help my friends move. He is great at conversation and always makes people laugh. It's just he took a while to ask me on our first date, got a little tongue tied in the beginning with in person conversations, and never made the first move physically. After b…

He's paying for all of it. It takes hardly any time and effort, and it's time we spend together that we both enjoy. No different than a movie or hike. I understand the concern that things could feel wasted should we break up. But you always lose the time spent together in any break up. Plus my bf is buying these things not for his benefit, but bc he said he wanted me to feel comfortable.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/06/20 11:49 AM

Oh, I agree with you on that, totally. I got the impression that maybe he was looking at buying a house before they got to that point. I never considered he was house hunting and then just brought her in at the end. I saw it more like he was bringing her in on a process he already started. My bf already owns his house. But he's already included me on future changes and upgrades. So maybe I'm biased that it's the same for other women. The whole his place vs ours ... I lived through that before. F…

I'm super confused, I didn't understand your point at all. He asked her to look at a house together. That alone means nothing. Been there and no ring. I was just answering the question the OP asked honestly. I agree about how we're socialized differently than men, but not how it relates to the situation here. I think he just wants to make sure she likes the house he's thinking of getting. Did I miss something?

And I totally agree about slow on the touch and compliments. Mentally, I knew this was a good thing. Emotionally and based off previous experiences, it made me think he didn't like me. I was actually really upset thinking how women get programmed into that trap. Bc it doesn't take shit for a man to say you're pretty and kiss you. That's the dumbest way to determine what he thinks about a woman.

I wish there were a fds post in shy men. My new bf hit on so many points of being a hvm, but this almost made me walk. And he's the opposite of shy in public, or with friends, or meeting new people. But with me? And probably others before me? He was very passive in asking me out, compliments, and physical touch. At first I thought he wasn't into me, then I thought he was possibly scared of me. All of those things have gone away as we've gotten closer. But I wonder if we read men who are shy arou…

I would say my family rarely did nice things. It was the kind of home where electricity and food were considered the nice things they did. I handled all the chores and raising my younger siblings. I'm not sure how similar that is to what you described. I said thank you to him and said I liked the gift. All he said was, you're welcome. Deliberate or engrained? There are differences between us and men, and one I'm convinced of is the capability for real empathy. And without it, the entire idea of fairness is beyond obtainable. Men will only want equality when they stand the chance of being on the losing side. And take the handful of "good" ones. How many do good things "bc it's the right thing to do" and not a conscious decision they made based on understanding someone else. It's like you have to give up on empathy and have the…

A majority are just looking for sex or validation from getting your contact info. So I never give it unless they've taken me out and it goes well. Men drop like their sperm count at 35 bc of it. On the surface, it seems acceptable. Women should have the right to choose what to do with their bodies, and we should have legislation that provides a healthy and safe way to do that. That almost certainly will not happen if it becomes a corporate service. And that legislation doesn't seem to protect the mother at all. And yes, she's a mother, not a fucking carrier. Women can have sex and not get emotionally attached. Men can also have sex and get attached. It's definitely not biological. It's societal, there's built in guilt and shame for women to have sex, which keeps us loyal to shitty men. And there's pride in multiple partners for guys, which encourages their cheating and porn stashes. The solution doesn't have to be a reversal where women now imitate that bad behavior. But at least realize that's what's going on, drop the shame and guilt, and don't le…

I feel like someone could make a god tiered post about how to identify a man with a healthy relationship with sex. There are obvious signs like including violence or perversions. But men like this one might appear normal, until you look for signs of an addictive personality. There's a difference between a high sex drive and men who use sex to fill a void. 😮😣 I'm glad you left. Nobody should be a part of that sort of psycho shit. Him chasing after you when you were gone almost makes it comical, but it's too pathetic and sick to laugh about. And men are just as emotional as women, but they completely lack the ability to understand or control what they feel. Side note, I knew a woman who had it happen for real. They had been broken up for a long time, he kept trying to get her back. One day she comes home and he had broken in. He said goodbye, I alw…

FDS has actually made OLD easier for me. I used to work on every good match, trying to say the right thing, constantly lowering standards, feeling frustrated when it wasn't working. Now? Block block block! It's so easy. I understand what they're doing, what they're after, and that I'm not going to change them even if I tried. So I am going through matches quick. But the ones who stick around? Even through quarantine? I'm impressed (not saying that tho). But the best part is I enjoy the time I'm …

Omg, the energy I wasted before, trying to put in 100% of the effort. I absolutely hated dating, it felt stressful and tiring. Now if I think a guy isn't putting in the effort I expect, I block him. It's that easy. And I don't regret it, I don't beat myself up wondering if I could have been different or fixed it. I have a clear idea of what I want and will be fine single until I get it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/04/20 01:29 PM

Definitely agree that does not sound like a woman's perspective. But in the story permission was asked and granted for getting physical. And it's totally possible for some women to enjoy that. But I wouldn't be with a guy who could only get off or show interest in me by doing that. If anything, I want it to be my idea.

This isn't about what I can get out of a guy bc I take care of myself. This is seeing how he values me and a possible relationship.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/04/20 01:08 PM
31

I think different couples are going to have their own levels of personal space. I know the right guy for me will value communication. Ignoring me for hours for video games isn't going to work. But that might actually work well for you. It's not the time or activity we should have an issue with, but a guy who understands what we need or expect and deliberately blows that off.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/04/20 05:39 AM
95

Ignore? If I go out with my friends and get a text from my bf, it's either important enough to interrupt us, or something sweet that I can get back to when I'm done. I don't ignore him, but I also don't want to be interrupted. And I can give him the same courtesy when he does his thing.

Idk... How into me would he have to be if I looked him in the eye and said, if you got me pregnant and I didn't want a baby, I'd get an abortion and possibly not tell you. I wouldn't want to say something like that to someone I maybe liked, but it's not something I've seen most guys being capable of hearing without a non verbal reaction at least. And that's why u took your word for it a bit. If I actually had an abortion and thought I could be honest with a man about it and got that reaction? Or…

Oh, so maybe the stagnation of the relationship is getting to you. Even the best things need to keep growing. I'd defer to more experienced FDS members on how to approach that once in a LTR. Three weeks, probably not hormonal. Sorry, I had to say it bc personally I can go to pretty distant extremes, but not longer than a week. It could also be the quarantine, how long have you been locked down?

How long have you felt that detachment?

The number of men I've seen rage inside when I be said I won't tell the guy about an abortion if I don't want to. Like, even if they support abortion, the fact that they could have no say in the matter unravels them. Men are addicted to power and control and I find it disgusting.

Complimenting beauty is not objectification. What most men do is dehumanizing. We're a pair of nice tits, or have child bearing hips. Even when discussing a whole body it's not as a person. We're that girl next door, we look like such and such famous person, we're milf's. Women and men can say nice things to each other. Things that are appropriate, not sexualized, creepy specific, or overbearing. And when you hear it, it feels like they said it about you, not the image of you. I would have been …

Most of my friends were in college, I haven't seen them since last quarter ended, but the half dozen of us were really close for a couple years. And there wasn't man alive worth spending all my time with instead of seeing them too. Female friendships are just as important as a romantic relationship. Actually, more. Youre not alone, I'm in the same boat! Besides resetting my entire friends list, my best friend and roommate for the last decade has to move out bc of the quarantine. How do I make new friends without brunch or a hike? I'm just staying patient. I'm newish to Reddit but thankful for subs like this one that actually bring women together and give us something to talk about. It will get better when it's all over. That's interesting, and I should have known that. I've just been fine with condoms and test myself, and figure that means they work. I suppose I would have noticed an active outbreak though, as I almost always start with manual or oral. Definitely always doing that now, I hope it isn't a distracting thought, lol. One big point, ONS are not an intimacy replacement, they're an arousal enhancement. There's zero us, it's absolutely just physical pleasure, something unachievable by myself bc it inclu…

Hey, thanks for such a great reply! I guess I didn't see ONS as much risk or effort. Maybe for some it is, but it's usually not for me. It's bc I do see those as a waste if time. The convenience is too distracting. Whereas a ONS is less appealing to me, unless I really want it. I would see a fwb a couple times a wee…

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/04/20 02:56 PM

I didn't know of any propaganda about casual sex. It's just been my own personal decision and no man's business, not even a HVM.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/04/20 12:16 PM
1

I feel like I can do both. Enjoy sex and pursue dating strategies with guys I'm not sleeping with. I would hate to believe this community isn't for me, it's already been so helpful. Both in how I see myself and in what I get from dating. But casual sex and meaningful sex are very different things for me and don't interfere with each other.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/04/20 12:08 PM
4

The advice I was looking for is just a discussion about how we all deal with wanting sex and still dating effectively. What women here have found works and doesn't work. If there were other reasons to not have ONS. Or like I was asking, is something wrong with me bc where my mind wanders during masturbation. I wasn't advocating for anything, just trying to understand better. And I really appreciate you being someone to talk about these things, even if we're different.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/04/20 12:01 PM
-1

Condoms are a must, I take care of pregnancy risks myself, and I really don't need much of an effort in bed bc I know how to get what I want. I have a hard time believing that me having casual sex is taking away any hvm from someone else. If anything, it's distracting the guys who you don't want to meet. I did go through the handbook again, I did not see this covered. Only sex in dating, fwb, and the physiological risks which I take care of.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/04/20 11:51 AM

Everything about fds has been very helpful, I'll go back and look again, but I don't see how ONS has any effect on dating

I don't want a fwb, just a one time thing
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/04/20 11:37 AM

I did list masturbating as one of the two options. I also was hoping someone could explain the problem of having sex with someone if it's just sex and it's not someone you're interested in dating or a relationship.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/04/20 09:01 AM
-4

Oh, and I definitely don't intend on going back to old patterns after quarantine. I'm actually really looking forward to things being different. It just isn't good/healthy to abandon my sex life entirely. So shouldn't fds work if I'm not sleeping with men I date?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/04/20 05:25 AM
-9

I did read it, and it said you were supposed to wait for the man to show value and commitment before sex. But it didn't say much about what to do when I need sex.

While I'm super happy for you, bc that sounds amazing, I'm hesitant to blame the issue on testosterone. Like, I'm not crazy to expect to find a man with an average or even high libido, who also respects me and women enough to satisfy himself in a healthy way?

Almost every issue he has relates to sex. Forced into painful acts, infidelity, hooking up in a pandemic, and pride being more about dicks than love. They're similar problems to what women face. /r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/03/20 01:03 PM

Generally no, but there are some circumstances where I think it would be possible. Like, my roommate (female) has a high paying job, but the quarantine is likely going to destroy her financially. We've already talked about me backing her up for a few months and then paying me back. Could I do the same thing for my bf? Maybe if he had already proposed. Saying no would be something like, I would work on financial issues with my husband but until then, that's not something I'm mixing.

100% I used to be able to support other women in ways that would make them feel better in the moment. But now I realize I'm prolonging her suffering by saying anything other than, stop putting up with that bullshit. And sadly, a lot of girls aren't ready for it. Sorta going through this right now. We're under quarantine so I said if we met up there would still be social distancing. He then said, oh, I'm going to break that. Fine, no date. Then he said he'd abide by the rules. I told him it's still a no bc we're not on the same page about these things and they matter to me. I was walking up to my apartment and after I said that, I realized this was over. I don't want to be with someone who is trying to push me into what they want until I say no. And say …

I don't think he was referring to me as with waiting for, just that he hadn't waited in a long time. But thanks for something to look out for :)

Like it's so crazy today to say I'm not sleeping with just anyone? Ok, a little crazy bc I used to just have sex if I felt like it. I'll be honest, I'm trusting people here more than feeling like not doing it.

I'm surprised how quickly things changed since reading the handbook. I matched with a guy who was looking for sex that could lead to a relationship. I said forget it, I date before I have sex. He said it doesn't have to be that way, and I said with me it does. At this point I really expected him to bounce. But his reply was something I never heard before. He said he hadn't met anyone in a long time who was worth waiting for. Instead of going over to his place after the quarantine, he asked if I …

Right, and while women tens to be more cooperative and communicate better, men tend to be more competitive and do it yourself. So while most people here are convinced any guy can figure out how to look his best, I felt like some struggle bc of not knowing. Not bc of a lack of effort or caring.

This is really good advice. You really showed me how it starts, and then ends up where other women are saying heck no. I've edited my thoughts on it. I'm going to dress appropriately and he can catch up or I'll just move on. I definitely don't want to end up being a mom or maid.

Yes, I'm the same way. Except anything about cars but maybe that's motivation, idk. When I look around, I see guys who dress exactly like their peers. And they go on dates like that with girls who did their 15 minute routine. Then they snap a profile pic like that and say, here's me. And I see that, and thought, ok, but you'll have to do better unless we're hiking or at Target. Initially when I posted I thought that meant they needed my help, just feedback and a shopping partner. I did edit my p…

Good for him. And I never intended to make it seem like they're all like that. But omg, I have been in some nice restaurants and seen the cargo shorts or plaid unbuttoned over a t-shirt and I wish there were a dress code 😒

I think I was under the assumption that some guys just didn't know how. You could give them two hours and they wouldn't figure it out. I mean, there are things I couldn't learn, so I guessed it was the same?

If we're going off the assumption that under dressing is a sign of not taking care of yourself, then yeah. Honestly, no. Wardrobe is not the main issue. The most common problem is how self absorbed they are, even if nice or not cocky. It's never felt like a date, but like a meal with a co-worker. But hypothetically, if appearance were the only issue, that's why I posted.

Some, no. Some competitive, high paying jobs are beyond business casual, they're straight up casual. Like, not wearing shoes casual. And if they've been told that's ok, or even encouraged to do so, I guess I thought a one time chance to do it differently would be ok.

I'm surrounded by engineers. Guys who seem to be instructed to wear hoodies, jeans, and old nuanced t-shirts. It's so prevalent, even in a decent restaurant here you'll see people wearing their hats inside, or cargo shorts. I don't have any desire to be their mom or style coach. But are they all LVM or just suffering from a very casual culture?

Online dating is full of very lazy men. They don't pursue the best target, they pursue the easiest. Chasing them is a race to the bottom. Tbh, I wonder if dating apps disappeared, how many men would snap out of it. I am beginning to think these apps are bringing down women by reducing what they should expect from a partner. Two hikes a year, Netflix 6 days a week, and oral the first two months. That's a good LTR these days 🙄

My roommate is in that mindset right now. I've known her for 8 years and hearing that makes me think she's as emotionally healthy as she's ever been. Seriously, she's aware of what really makes her happy, of the amount of bullshit men have to offer, and no longer feels like having kids defines her success as a woman. She has no idea how much stronger she is now. And single or not, the rest of her life is going to be so much better.

I have been off FB for like 4 years. I miss out on some group chats and a few events. I also miss out on a time suck, false information, and enough negativity to make Ghostbusters I plausible. This is an excellent strategy for those who have been active on it and want to make a change.

This is all really helpful, thank you. When dating online, the standard approach from guys is to ask for my number immediately, or my snap. I don't hand out that information to strangers, so I tell them I only will if I see something worth pursuing and if the first date goes well. That's what I mean by being direct about what I want, bc I don't really like spending time messaging (non sexy) to hear, "just come over, you see I'm a good guy." Saying what I want up front gets rid of that wasted tim…

Thanks. This was before I came back to fds. When I tell them what I'm looking for, I meant I started being direct about sincere dating vs hookups, and that I don't give out my number unless the first date goes well. Should I not clear those things up in the beginning so the guys just trying to get laid go away?

Yeah, 13 hour shifts in healthcare. Lately working at least one day on the weekend. So I'm exhausted and not even home until 7 when I work. If I have a day off but work the next day, I have to be up at 5 so I can't be out too late.

New, and I'm working through the fds handbook. I've always done coffee dates as the interview. I don't want to meet a guy at night, or have alcohol, the first time we meet. But now no coffee dates. Can I get some help understanding where I'm supposed to go?

I joined a couple weeks ago and then left bc I couldn't get over why I needed to wait for sex or make him pay for everything. A few more dates and I started realizing... Is it really random that guy A is less interested now? Guy B "forgot" we had a date? Guy C ghosted me when I didn't put out after he called me gorgeous for a week? I knew I must be choosing the wrong men. So I started asking a lot of questions after matching. Made it clear what I was looking for. And I saw how disturbingly lazy …
