They may feel guilty for kissing you so quickly, or may have picked up the vibe that you're not really in to them and so they want to cover their ass and make it seem like they weren't invested. It's also possible that they are just trying to open communication with you, wanting you to take it further. Or you're ugly and they regret kissing you the next day =P

If you seem desirable/sexual to yourself and those around you, then people outside your group will take the hint. So first, you need to treat yourself as sexual and desirable. This includes having basic confidence, and sexual confidence. Even if you don't have too much experience, act like you do (Don't overdo it though). E.G. Don't loudly exclaim how well you eat pussy, but if someone else does act like you know exactly what they're talking about. As to the second point, it's hard to get people…

The article has some interesting points, but to me it seems like fear mongering. Think about a time before smart phones, and even before land lines. I'm talking little medieval village here. You think the hot girl in the town didn't get stares from every unsatisfied blacksmith, farmer, scribe, priest, etc? The option to cheat has been there and always will be there because of the biological dynamics of men and women. Men try to spread the seed, women have to be selective, yadda yadda. The only d…

Dude, I just watched this separately and came to post it. I have no idea why this didn't get picked up, not just a great TED talk but confirms literally everything we've said about body language. And she said "fake it til you make it" at least 10 times

Sounds like whatever you are doing is working. Keep skyping her every couple of days, but don't seem clingy. Other than that it seems like she likes whatever swag you've got going for you

Monday-Wednesday all dedicated to personal errands? Try to condense them if you can, then find a couple coffee houses, lounges, or parks where you can spend time regularly. You'll start to see who else spends time regularly there too. Get friendly with the staff, you'll start to get friendly with the other regulars and then you look cool every time you go up there.

It'll be most important to be fun. I'm not sure what kind of activities they'll have, but you can be sure there will be a lot of the standard "getting to know you" conversation going on. I would try to avoid this where possible. Maybe bring a box of matches and hand them out, since it's a "match" party. (AKA the corny joke opener)

They may be creating their own site and hosting the videos there? Maybe trying to segue into a full fledged seduction company. I can't really think of anything other than that, unless they encountered some kind of legal issues.

Be chill, have fun. If you look like you're out trying to pick up girls, it probably won't go over well. Be friends with everyone. Yeah, really just have fun! You're a business student, so I assume you're good at talking to/reading people.

I would have to say taking up jiu jitsu. It's gotten me in shape, and in turned raised my testosterone and confidence. Also, getting out of a 2.5 year relationship that had turned me into a punk bitch.

It works for what it was intended to.... to get girls laughing. It's an easy tranisition to come back and get them to dance or talk, especially once they've seen other girls react well. I was already on my way out of the club (I know, what a cop-out). To prove it to you, next time I go out I'll do the same thing but actually follow up afterwards. Side note: A lot of girls (especially ones in clubs) think Jersey Shore is hilarious.

If it works it works, right? What's that saying, "Don't hate the player, hate the game?" But then again the whole point of seddit is to learn the game, not hate it. If you don't like it don't use it. I'll just keep the attention for myself!

Exactly, another example comes from setting up dates with girls. I'll text "Let's meet tuesday for drinks, Black finn at 8:00." Works so much better than "do you want to have drinks sometime?" Girls like assertive.

Though I agree with what everyone is saying, I would like to play devil's advocate for one point: Your profile can be great for social proof. If you have a lot of pictures of you having fun and they can see that other girls post on your wall/do things with you it will make you look cooler. Of course you should be able to emulate most of this with your dating site profile, but everyone knows those profiles are designed to make you look your best. Facebook can make you seem more normal and real. O…

You could design a study that would test this, but honestly why? Because I'm interested to see if there's a correlation. I'm not looking for a silver bullet, but it could be another tool to keep in mind. Mystery, Style, all the PUA's we've read about had to come up with their stuff somehow. There are a ton of situational variables. I'm hoping that pure volume of attempts and subjects will yield something! If it doesn't, well hey at least I've approached tons of women.

You're right, I can't get an actual scientific conclusion on it. This doesn't mean we can't get some generalizations out of it... with 40k+ sedditors we could definitely get some data one way or the other. I'll edit my post to include what I'm gonna try as the experiment.

I'm not sure that analogy applies... I don't think women go to bars to hear a concert of pick up lines and cocky funny remarks. But yeah, it's been said so many times in this subreddit. Canned openers are OK for getting started in seduction. By the time your transformation is complete it should be confidence and social adeptness that allow you to pick up women. The canned routines just let you fake it until you learn and internalize social dynamics Also, this article was posted just the other da…

True to an extent. As has been said before, all this pickup stuff is great for people with low self confidence who just need to start somewhere, anywhere. Of course the end goal should always be to just be a cool confident interesting guy. Be wary though, this site is just another site trying to compete with the others. First... The way to ultimately have beautiful women in your life is to escape this circus Then.... At Manism, we discuss principles, not techniques. "Forget those other dating me…

Realizing that you crave that validation is the first step, so you're on your way to fixing it. Now that this subconscious need has been brought to your conscious attention, it's just a matter of time before you break old habits. Once you are comfortable and confident with yourself, you won't need to seek validation. I've gotten over my need for validation from women, but with that I've realized how much I look for approval from my friends (particularly the "alpha" in the group). I feel much bet…

Right. No hesitation, no insecurity. The easiest way to avoid both is for getting the number to be a natural extension of the conversation. Saying "Put your number in here," while handing them your phone is a nice assertive way of getting the number, and is actually less nerve racking for me than just asking for it.

Let me just point out, sometimes forgetting her name can be a valid technique in disqualifying yourself. Just make sure it's relatively early into your interaction with her, and you get it right later.

I didn't mean to sound candid when talking about the subject. Maybe emotional abuse was too strong of a term to use... he definitely uses the women that get close to him, but he doesn't call names or anything like that. For example, he had a chick that would clean his entire house, cook for him, everything. Little cutie, and he never did anything for her. When she would go back home for breaks from college, she would ask things like "You won't be with other girls while I'm at home, right?" He wo…

Thanks, that's a good tip and I'll definitely try it out. The girls have "daddy issues," not him. By daddy issues I mean...basically girls he can treat like crap and get away with it. (No physical abuse, emotional abuse for sure though). Pretty messed up, me and my friends are trying to help him out and fix but he lost his mom semi-recently so there are all sorts of issues there as well. Good guy at heart, I'm sure you can imagine.

This post is absolutely useless for anything except you telling everyone how much booty you get. Good for you! It's very inspirational and all that, but it's not really helping anyone get better at seduction. I've downvoted for now. Not that one upvote matters, but if you edit this post and elaborate a little bit more on the techniques / mindsets you used, rather than just say "We drank/used drugs then had sex," I'll change my opinion. Edit: OP has elaborated below.

Listen when Hormander says to practice a sport. There are so many benefits to it, for dating and otherwise. Peronsally, I started taking jiu jitsu 10 months ago and it's done wonders for me. I had been sitting on the other side of the class, then I talked to her after class one day. After that I went and sat next to her. We would just keep talking. Nobody else had the balls to do it, and I think that really impressed her. Keep in mind, there are many other aspects to that particular pick up that affected it. Point is, everyone seems to assign themselves seats. You're in college, you can sit wherever the hell you want.

Confidence is good, but telling a girl she's alright after she just told you she thinks you're hot can seem asshole-ish. Keep the sly grin, but generally all you need is to say is "thanks." In this situation you could have isolated and kissed her, maybe even without isolating her.

It's really up to you. If you're afraid your lack of interest will show through in your body language, maybe it is a good opportunity to practice having control over your body language. Of course if there's something else you would rather be doing go with that. Quick question though, and be honest. Are you losing interest because the girls themselves are not interesting, or because you're afraid of taking the next step? Also, I've found that if I masturbate I'm not nearly as interested in going …

You say that flamboyance is a turn off to you, but it may be of some use here. If you have even one item that kind of "marks" you as homosexual, then straight guys will recognize that when they see it and you can gauge their reaction before approaching. Just an idea. Also, depending on where you live you might not have to worry about it. Even if a dude you hit on does overreact, it's not like everyone is going to pick on you. Homosexuality is becoming more accepted, especially on college campuse…

I don't think you should ask HB-Friend to ask HB8 what she thinks about you, rather just ask if HB8 happened to say anything. I don't know if that distinction makes a difference, but other sedditors seem to disagree with me so take their advice over mine on this one. I'll reevaluate my stance on it as well
/r/seduction08/09/11 12:35 AM

I guess it depends. I have a close female friend that would absolutely help me out in situations like this. If "HB-Friend" is closer to HB8 than to the OP I would agree with what you're saying. Otherwise I don't see any harm in it.

Nice work. Use HB-Friend as much as you can... find out if HB8 has said anything about you. A great female friend can work wonders

I'm not saying it's a waste of time or to worry about being embarrassed. The whole point of seduction is to remove as much chance from it as possible. The shotgun approach leaves it as a numbers game. Sure, you might catch her on the right day, in the right mood and she might already be attracted to you. But really, you're leaving it up to her. If it's up to her, she hasn't been seduced has she?
/r/seduction07/09/11 07:38 PM
2

I have to disagree here. If she's hot and alone on a college campus you can assume she gets hit on constantly. How many times has she heard, "Hey baby let me call you sometime?" Or, "You're really pretty, would you like to maybe get coffee with me sometime?"

Lol right? I facebook stalked her later and "The Art of Seduction" is listed under her favorite books. When two people try to game each other, shouldn't it just be considered attraction?
/r/seduction06/09/11 08:24 PM
1

You're right, there is definitely a specific feeling/timing for getting a number / kiss. It all happened pretty quickly. At the time she gave me the number I knew she was attracted, but I didn't have a "ask for the number now" feeling. My timing was good for the kiss, I was about to make a move for it when she asked if she could kiss me.

I can only see three motivations for something like that: You're friend-zoned and she's just being open about her horny-ness. She's knows you want it, and she's fucking with you. She likes the whole "we shouldn't be doing this" feeling. From the context of conversation you should be able to tell between 1 and 2/3 pretty easily. Judging between 2 & 3 may be harder. Paying attention to tone should help out here. If the case turns out to be # 2, blow it off. Do not push any more after she says you …

A lot of these require the target's compliance to really take effect. Remember, it's important to lead. Before you try any of these escalation gambits, you should already have some base kino going on. The most innocent kino is touching with the back of your hand on the shoulder or arm. You should start doing this IMMEDIATELY within the context of the conversation. Any time you bring up an interesting point in a conversation or want to point something out to her, touch with the back of the hand. …

Ouch, that's tough. He then started telling me in front of her "did you speak to that one yet?" Maybe say something like, "That one? What, are girls numbers to you?" Not sure if that's the right approach but it's what I could think of right now

I don't think it matters that you haven't been "properly" introduced. How would you even go about introducing yourself at this point? "Hi, my name is introvery?" She has access to your profile, that's pretty much an introduction to who you are. You can either message her related to the band, or message something like, "I noticed you commented on my post, then realized that I don't really know who you are. Have we met before? I don't keep people on here just for the sake of having a higher number…
/r/seduction22/08/11 08:43 PM

I wouldn't assume she's interested just because she loves something that you posted, but it does show that you guys have some similar tastes. I don't see any harm in sending her a message saying, "Hey, [band] is awesome! I saw them live in [town], it was an amazing show." Of course this is just an example, if you haven't seen them live I wouldn't say you have. Just something along those lines. Don't put too much thought into it, you're just talking to another person about a common interest.

Maybe something like "Come grab some coffee with me." It is a command, but if you say it with the right tone (try and make it sound harmless, but at the same time give a "what are you waiting for?" vibe), it has a better chance of working than "Would you like to have coffee with me?" If she says no, at least you tried. Just play it off like it doesn't matter, and go get your coffee.
