"Opening up to abundance isn't a pursuit; it's a state of mind. Abundance isn’t an issue of degree; it’s an issue of awareness and acceptance. Abundance is not defined by how much a person has, but by how aware a person is of how much he or she has. If you can’t see that you are already abundantly blessed, you won’t be able to see it if it is multiplied by 10, or 100, or 1000, or even a million." -- Dr. Robert Glover I hope that helps.

First off, you need to take a step back and learn to value yourself. Every comment of yours shows that you measure your value based on the approval you gain from women. When these women don't give you the validation you are desperately seeking, you are bothered. I get it, I am still learning that lesson and I am married. Being in an LTR or being married doesn't change things. It's not a magic pill that will suddenly erase all of your personal issues. A high value women can bring value to your li…

If I got 77 women to fuck me, I'd be much happier, and could probably be better at having an abundance mentality. Wrong. This is your problem, you are allowing external factors determine your state of mind. "Opening up to abundance isn't a pursuit; it's a state of mind. Abundance isn’t an issue of degree; it’s an issue of awareness and acceptance. Abundance is not defined by how much a person has, but by how aware a person is of how much he or she has. In addition to my post below, I also suggest you lurk in /r/marriedredpill/ to get an idea of what "trp on hard mode" is all about. When I read this comment of yours, it's like reading something I would have written before getting married. I'm not saying I regret my decision to be married or that a woman can't add value to your life. However, I did learn that adding a woman to your life doesn't fix it. Work on your cake of a life first, and then add the icing (see my other comment).

I've only had one real LTR in my life, and I have to admit that another LTR is what I've been searching for. I'm not against one-night-stands or anything, but my end goal has always been an LTR. It sounds like you are defining your worth by whether or not you are in an LTR and by what women think of you in general. You are looking for a woman to fill a void in your life. The problem is, even if you do end up in another LTR, if you aren't happy with who you are without a woman in your life, it wo…

If my wife is acting all pouty and butt-hurt, she gets put on ignore. Trust me, she won't be able to do it forever, she'll either see she's being a brat or she'll escalate. Then you can move accordingly. This is one of the most important lessons I've learned so far. Anytime you feel the need to ask "what's wrong" just repeat to yourself "STFU, STFU".

A lot of times if I get a compliment such as "I like that shirt on you." I reply with "Me too, thanks". Taking into consideration your point of view in the post, I think that this expresses that I know the shirt looks good on my and that's why I wore it, but I'm still politely thanking them for complimenting me. Not everyone wants or needs to see how the sausage is made. I told my wife about NMMNG like the author suggested and she had a very negative reaction to it, followed by several days of shit tests, bitchiness and silent treatments. We got past it, but after that I didn't see the value in discussing things related to my self improvement with her. A. Kay's "10 Second Kiss" would case their wives to be turned on. Not only is that incorrect, but publishing such was also a mistake - as it backfired on many men, making their situations worse. Thanks for referencing that. I am not having any success with the 10 second kiss. I found a few google references to what you said, so I will revisit this.

Same as /u/MRPguy. The biggest contributor to the change was when I stopped trying to please her/get her off. This lead to her being responsible for her pleasure during sex and amazing things have happened as a a result.

Yesterday, my wife was being too much of a bitch and I went into my IDGAF attitude. I know for a fact I didn’t act butt-hurt. This really stood out to me. The idea is that IDGAF should be our default stance and not something we "[go] into". If you are only demonstrating that you DGAF when she is pissing you off, that will come across as butt hurt and sulky.

It's interesting that these types of orgasms might be so different. One thing I've noticed (but not sure if it's really "a thing") is that when I bring my wife to a "surfacy licky" orgasm she is pretty much done with sex for at least 3 days. She can also be totally bitchy later on and the next day (tracking her cycle so can't always be attributed to PMS). Whereas when she's had a vaginal orgasm, she does lose her energy for that session (usually she only wants one and wants me to finish up or li…

point 4 is not just a brag, it is a useful piece of information. I used to have some serious PE issues. Once I got this principle down the issue has taken care of itself. It's not our job to make sure she's satisfied with the sex, we each take that role for ourselves now. Prior to putting that responsibility in her own hands, my wife would only orgasm from cunnilingus. Now she's figured out how to orgasm while I'm doing what I want to her.

I joke, "so..are your feelings all sorted now?" I'm going to give you some advice that led me to one of my greatest breakthroughs. Stop asking her about her feelings. In your main post, it was you asking her about her feelings that picked the fight to begin with. The hardest thing I ever did when I first started unplugging was ignore the fact that my wife was mad and wanted me to ask her why. She did the loud sigh, tossed and turned in bed, did all she could to get me to ask her why she was mad …

First question, why does it bother you? Deal with that first off. If he's hitting insecurities, work on them. Yeah, I find a lot of times if my wife is throwing insults at me and it hurts, it's because there is truth to it and I'm not owning my shit. My wife used to comment on me being overweight in a very mean spirited way in the past. I would get butt hurt and sulk or try to frame myself as a victim to get sympathy from her. This of course would only encourage the attacks. Once I started ownin…

WISNIFG can be a real slog once it gets into all of the dialogue examples. However, the first sections of the book should help you a lot, they can also be devoured fairly quickly. Once the book gets into pure dialogue examples, read some dealing with fogging and then consume the others at your leisure.

I'm no lawyer nor expert in property ownership, but unless he is a co-owner and his name is still on the property this sounds very sketchy to me. If he doesn't co-own the property you might want to seek legal advice on your options.

If you haven't read NMMNG yet, I suggest you do. There is a section in there that discussing saying no to bad sex. Dr. Glover also recommends a moratorium, but I had mixed feelings about it and didn't do it. I've seen various opinions on that in this sub as well. It's worth reading though and you can decide best how to apply the recommendations for your situation.

This is one of the most important things that MRP has helped me realize. I used to think (and gasp tell my wife) that I would be devastated and wouldn't know what to do if anything were ever to happen to her (translated if she were ever to leave me). Now, while I still very much love my wife, I am slowly moving toward outcome independence. I no longer vocalize such things to my wife and I no longer feel that way. Like say she bends over to pick something up and you're walking towards her, bump into her dick-to-ass, but feign innocence. I've even done things like this overtly. While playing around, wrestling, I'll wrangle her into a position then pretend to fuck her. I usually do this when she knows I'm not going to initiate (just before my workout) so she doesn't go into defense mode. After a few thrusts I laugh, smack her ass and then go work out.

As for the BJ, I've pushed for it a few times and still get a hard no. My problem there is most likely that I still have 30 lbs more to lose. I've lost 25 so far and have reaped the benefits but my SMV is not high enough to demand a BJ just yet - I'm owning my shit on this one. As for easing into doggy style, I think others have posted some pretty good advice. The most important being it has to be in the moment. Thanks for the post. This is a good reminder that our wives tend to reflect our state of calm (or lack thereof). I had an unfortunate reminder of this earlier today when I allowed myself to raise my voice in frustration when addressing something with my wife. Minutes later she was yelling at the kids. When I address things with her and the kids calmly she usually follows my lead.

I started rubbing her shoulders and back and then moved to the front, nothing overt. I think she sensed I was going to initiate so she leaned forward and said she was getting out. Is it possible that the fact he was trying to be 'sneaky' about it turned her off? I've had much more success being overt in my initiation of sex with my wife rather than the old way I used to do it (i.e. trying to be 'sneaky')

If you haven't already read NMMNG and WISNIFG then I think they will help you as you think about this. NMMNG talks about caretaking, which is sounds like you might be in such a relationship. WISNIFG has an assertive bill of rights and discusses them in the first part of the book (the dialogue parts are useful but a bit of a slog to get through, so I suggest you at least read the first part of the book that discusses the rights). This "bill of rights" may be of use to you as you consider the acti…

I forgot to add, it usually also results in better than usual sex the next day. Unless of course it's shark week. The sex is a nice bonus, but the real value is the reconditioning that I'm undergoing each time, the feelings of anger are giving way to amusement and the shame that is triggering is diminishing.

I like /u/whinemoreplease's answer. I learned from it myself. I will share my own experience, not necessarily as advice for you to follow, but sometimes it helps to see how others deal with it. My wife doesn't blow up at me, instead she tends to go full silent mode. However, the similarity to your situation is that her doing that really pushes my buttons. I think my post above was too long to get my point across. Stop trying to control her behavior. Go read all of your posts including the original and keep count of how many times you refer to trying to control your wife's behavior. Go read NMMNG and MMSLP. At this point, I don't believe you have.

Reading through your post and responses to comments, you come across as focusing too much on trying to control her behavior (the shower thing is a good example of this). I've only been following this sub for a few months, but there is one valuable insight that I've picked up - I cannot control my wife's behavior, I can set boundaries and then enforce them, but I can't make her do something. Using the shower incident as an example, it seems you may be setting boundaries but not enforcing them, so…

I took Dr. Glover's advice and told my wife I was reading NMMNG and even asked her if she would read it as well. If I could replay that I wouldn't do it again, it was too soon. I was still in my anger/overcompensating stage and I think that didn't help. In the end things have worked out, but I don't credit any of the success with telling her about the book. I agree. Anger was one of the many emotions I felt starting on this journey. In the beginners guide it says to start lifting and so I did. One day my wife really pissed me off and instead of sticking around to try and fix it like my old self I just headed out to the gym. It really helped with the anger. I've been making other changes as well, but lifting has done a lot to help me move forward. It is an outlet for anger and stress, my mood has improved as well as my sleep. Also my wife finds it a…

Look your wife may not ever cheat on you, but it doesn't mean she won't lose attraction for you. Also, don't be so quick to conclude what your wife will and won't do. My wife has always been reserved in the bedroom, but now that I've started lifting she has started opening up sexually... and I'm only 5 weeks into this. I'm still a weak, overweight, flabby mother fucker, but me hitting the iron 3x a week has definitely had some effect on her sexual interest in me.

I'm not interested in the "getting laid" side of red pill. Serious question - are you getting all the sex you want in your marriage then? As a married man, I most certainly am interested in the getting laid side of red pill and lifting has helped in that area of our marriage. We are having more, better quality, and longer lasting sex. It has also helped me gain more confidence, improved my mood, improved my sleep, I have more energy and feel more motivated about life in general. My wife has also…

I won't pass judgement on whether or not he should break up with her. I think each situation is going to be different. For me, as I've been unplugging I've asked myself "If I knew then what I know now would I have still married my wife." So far the answer is yes, but if the answer were ever 'no' I'd have to think about where I'd go from there. I'm guessing his answer (or internal equivalent) was 'no'.

I'll repeat that you really should finish NMMNG. One of the things he suggests is to spend more time with other men away from your woman. You will feel guilty at first, you have been conditioned that way and it will take some time to 'break free' of that. Ironically though the more you fulfill that unwritten rule and work to please her without building a life of your own outside of her, the more she will lose respect for and resent you.
