Why did you feel like an asshole? Was she receptive to it when you flirted? As long as you're both consenting isn't it okay? Honestly not worried about HR in my situation.

I don't get it lmao. Are you saying flirting with her is a stupid idea?

I was just wondering about this myself. Awesome and thank you.

Having such a hard time with this. I'm always nervous about trying new things. My approach comes off so nervous when I go out because I'm still new at it.

95% of the battle, and I'm losing lol :(

I'm realizing the same thing. I have to recalibrate my expectation timeline. Man, I just watched a YouTube video of a PUA explaining cold approaches and even he said that on a bad day he'll lose his game sometimes, even after all of his experience. He also said he sucked at cold approaches at the beginning. I don't think I'm celebrating my small victories enough, I'm expecting too much at a time.

Yah I think you're right. My main issue is untreated anxiety and depression (since childhood). I always feel dead and empty and so it's hard giving good vibes when you're like that. Going to try microdosing psilocybin starting tomorrow.

Awesome, I'm adding this to my list.

I'm going through this exact thing right now. I was on top of the world last week. This week I feel like shit and I totally blew it with an amazing girl yesterday. I think the lesson is to hold back if you have bad mojo.

This sucks because I have an injury that I've been slowly fixing through physio. It's going to take another 6 months before I can go back to regular routine. I'm making solid progress but the timeframe crushes my spirit, hard to stay positive sometimes.

I'm trying to work on this. What's an example of this? Could I just tell the cashier dude that I like his glasses (I'm a straight male)?

Make intentions clear and then smalltalk after, damn I'm kicking myself because I made this mistake last night.

I'm still in this stage I think. What hurt you the most when you look back?

Idk man. I played video games growing up. Sometimes I'd get stuck on a level and I'd keep trying and trying. At some point I just started to do worse than when I started because of fatigue. I learned I just have to turn off the console and walk away for a while. I'm just wondering if that's where I'm at with dating right now.

Isn't the rule that as a man, you take your age and divide it by two, then add 7? So if you're 40, you can date a 27 year old?

Don't be goofy at a job interview, be professional and formal.

I wonder if it was your demeanor though. I went to the gym and gained confidence and had better interactions with people. 2 years ago though I hated myself and acted like a cave troll and people treated me accordingly (not all, some people were always nice to me but others were offput by my demeanor). Maybe losing 40 pounds gave you more self-esteem and confidence and improved your energy. Also, idk dressing in all black could be intimidating for some women, it would remind me of a bank robber o…

Went through the same thing but I called myself a cave dweller haha. I'm doing a lot better now. You need to focus on fixing your mental health, that's top priority. Because otherwise it's tempting to want to latch onto girls for happiness. This is going to scare them away. They want a guy that knows how to keep himself happy. It doesn't necessarily mean you can't keep your options open, but you need to actively try fixing your depression. Worst case scenario you tell her that you have some issu…

You're not understanding. I'm asking a genuine question here. I want to know the answer because I might be in this situation one day myself. I don't want to find another coffee shop, so I want to know how not to be awkward around her. I think asserting your boundaries is fair. It's rude to not let the other person know you're not going to come, whether it's a date, business meeting, or family dinner. It shows the person doesn't respect your time. Saying something is just standing up for yourself…

I was seriously asking, though. Next time, should he keep flirting with her as before as if nothing happened? Should he drop the flirting and just be courteous?
/r/seduction21/07/22 05:38 PM

How should he have treated her next time he saw her though? Just pretend like it never happened?

I feel like this should get more emphasis on this subreddit. As someone with depression and anxiety since childhood, I know how much a difference this makes. If I have it under control and feel good on the inside, I have confidence pouring out of my ass, no need to read theories on how to do it.

Are you an anxious person in general? Do you overthink everything?

Would you try casual conversations in public places (parks, malls, stores, etc.)?
/r/seduction21/07/22 12:20 AM

Awesome to hear that. In those success cases, was there chemistry even before you started talking to her? Did you just start flirting non-verbally while continuing the casual conversation?

I agree, but I go to social events all the time and the single attractive girls being there are hit and miss. It's something I'm developing more and more so I'm hoping for more improvement. Even then though, this only gives me opportunities on the weekends at specific times in specific circumstances. With an approach mindset you constantly have opportunities anywhere you go all the time. I think this resource has such potential if you can find a way in.

Why you mad, bro?
/r/seduction20/07/22 10:55 PM

I have a rule that I'm trying. If you come across an attractive woman, make eye contact and wait for her eye contact. If she looks at you give her a big smile. If she gives you a big smile back, that's an invitation to talk, and if it all feels right, to ask for her number. I'm applying this rule anywhere I go.

I'm looking for a relationship.

You for sure need emotional support. Social engagement is the quickest way to light up your brain and make you feel, think, and talk better. Isolation is the quickest way to depression and anxiety which not only sucks but gives off a terrible vibe. Family, friends, coworkers, clubs, anything you can get honestly. Also just having good conversations with people you run into throughout the day, this is win/win because you're also training your social skills at the same time.

Midwest. I'm the same way, actually just made a post asking how to improve this.

Yup, I live about an hour away from downtown (32M) but it's close enough. There's other suburbanites that go so I'll get lucky sometimes meeting people. Actually moving downtown is better though.

Do you live in or close to a big city? There's usually big events and festivals where there's tons of people.

Some things are timeless though because they're traits that are hardwired into us through evolution. I feel like his advice fits, basically: have a spine and don't reward women unless they've earned it. Great advice that I found out the hard way very recently.

and he isnt probably a high quality man neither? My point is that his strategy is to just walk into a bar and ask every girl "Hey, want to f*ck me?" You're picking up girls that have no standards and also have a higher chance of having STIs. some other people are grumpy making excuses? I still like going out and meeting people and I'll talk to all women I come across, but I won't sleep with all of them. You're just more of a quantity guy and I'm more of a quality guy. To each his own I guess.

I can't imagine these are high-quality women.

As a guy that just lost his girl for being too needy, so much about this is wrong. I think you're confusing "needy" with "warm and affectionate." Both puppies and kittens are just babies. They are both needy because they are helpless and they need their mothers. Adult cats and dogs are mature, the cat is more aloof and the dog is more warm and friendly. This is where you are correct about a woman's preference. However, all women want a man that can take care of himself emotionally as a mature an…

Your method assumes she shows me interest first. What if I want to first show interest? How do I do that without flirting at the beginning?
/r/seduction07/07/22 08:17 PM

You shouldn't care what they think. You're just trying to have a good time (mainly socially, but also sexually), and if they're being lame then you move on to the next.

I'm in this stage right now. I was such a needy pushover with everyone (not just women). I've lately started to be more selfish and stand up for myself. I felt so guilty at the beginning and thought I was an asshole, but now I'm starting to see that I'm just setting and upholding healthy boundaries for myself. I'm pretty sure I was like this from early childhood experiences. I'm learning to be more balanced.

I just had an opportunity 2 days ago. I was checking out my own groceries at the self-checkout and she was next to me checking out her own groceries. I had an impulse to talk to her, but I held myself back. Later I told myself "she was busy bagging her groceries and there's people in line behind us" and it wasn't the right time. Part of me thinks I would have figured it out and that I should have just pulled the trigger and winged it. How do you balance acting on impulse within that 5 second win…
