Quantity vs quality approaches

There was some special on cable television many years ago about a guy that was trying to find his soul mate. He did some calculation to determine that it would require him to date at least fifty different women before he could make a decision. Partway through his experiment, after about 14 different dates he met who he would have chose, but continued to date until his count had exceeded thirty dates. Then he quit the experiment and continued with who he determined to be his soul mate after only fifteen different dates.

I think there's having a quantity of women to approach eventually leads to quality selection. It probably doesn't take hundreds of dates either.

Only approach women that genuinely spark an interest within you, which leaves out women you are not sexually attracted to. But make sure you DO approach women that you find sexually attractive, even if they are not in the threshhold of your 'type' or 'standard'. Women can suprise you. You can find some of the strongest connections and highest attraction to women from who'd you did not expect it on the first hand.

Your biggest problem is waiting around for you to feel the feeling of "wanting".

Almost everything in life that is beneficial to your longterm is undesirable. Working out, eating healthy, going to school for a career, advancing your career, etc.

This is no different. It's training. You just go out and be social and flirt and be charismatic. With EVERYONE.

I hate it to man. But yes, when the right one comes, the motivation is there but the tools won't be. That's the reality.

So your question reqlly is "can I do this without putting in the reps?" The answer is no and if you sit around waiting for motivation - it ain't coming.

This is the opinion of someone who posts on /r/ForeverAlone so feel free to disregard:

You'll practice and build certain skills with quantity approaching, but quantity implies you're only practicing/building early skills and not later/deeper skills. So early quantity loses later quantity in terms of time/energy.
The phrases "lower quality girl" and "work women" and "when the right one eventually comes along" shouldn't be in the same post. Think about how the right one would feel reading your post.
Go after your inner drive and what you're really looking for! I'd focus on people who met "the one" who didn't go on that many dates. A lot of people I know with girlfriends/wives never touched anything resembling /r/seduction or emulated it in any way.
