It’s hard because as women, we have been taught that the only way that we can finally be validated as being a real woman, is if a man agrees that we are and shows that off via public and legal commitment. A woman who has not had a proposal yet, especially by a certain age, is seen as defective and unfit to be in the clan. It’s why women become desperate and cry hard when they realize the man they’re with doesn’t want to marry them: He holds the key to her humanity as a whole as well as her sacre…

I’m so sorry this happened! Please be kind to yourself and take some time off from dating. I feel like you’ve been traumatized by the LVM you’ve dated before and it’s making your internal system raw and sensitive to any future abuse or infidelity. Could you maybe see a counselor or a therapist about this in the meantime?

“Like they didn’t choose them in the first place.” This is honestly why FDS is against the idea that the woman makes the first move despite it being a popular piece of advice everywhere else. Because I guarantee you that the men who bemoans about their gfs and wives were the ones who had her make the first move on the guy and he settled for her out of laziness and desperation. The hardest lesson to learn living the FDS lifestyle is learning that if you hadn’t made the first move, all of the men …

Men will on god send you an imy text on Monday, while texting another woman that same day, and then ghost you a day or so later once he’s secured the other woman because you did not responded quickly enough or in a manner that he did not liked. Always, always, ALWAYS assume that a man has a rotation of women that he messages throughout the day.

Huh? I’ve always done nice little things for my prior exes and that did not stopped them from cheating on me, abusing me, or wanting to leave me for another person. I’ve always tried to be a good friend to men back then and that did not stopped them from hurting me in all ways possible. In fact, of all the damning evidence I have with my personal life experiences once I stop to think about it… men became CRAZY over me when I’ve done the LEAST towards them.

Men don't like nice girls either, so what's he crying about? All the nice girls who tried so hard to be cool and low maintenance and doing 50/50 and yelling about how awesome being sex positive is got them where, exactly? Absolutely nowhere and with no man who loves her in sight.

I'm... I'm confused. Who is the mother who is giving birth to his son? Is this some kind of weird surrogacy shit? I know that women nowadays can get themselves pregnant all on their own by using a sperm bank, but......... how would a man pull the same thing, unless he's making a woman suffer for 9 months + childbirth + gives the baby up for him? "I don't wanna date your past either so keep it to yourself." SIR YOU HAVE A FUCKING BABY WITH ANOTHER WOMAN WDYM

This is why I strongly believe gynecology should be a 100% female-only branch of medicine. Only women should be gynecologists, only women should study gynecology and look for treatments and cures for us, etc. Men have no right to be in it.

Hate this trend nowadays where as long as you slap words like "white" or whatever in front of the word "woman" to get away with being as misogynistic as possible without repercussions. She really thought she said something revolutionary and high minded, but she's asking for our progress to go backwards in time and make women feel stupid for having boundaries.

Because he wanted neither of them and just wanted the ego boost of having women fight over him. It's super common among LVM and NVM, it's insane. When the so called hypothetical "golden p*ssy" arrives in his life as a third party, he would have divorced the wife AND tell Mary to fuck off forever. A man who seems half-committed to two or more women is just passing the time and having fun until a real one shows up in his life.

Oof, I am so sorry she had to learn about the affair and it basically ended their marriage. But this is exactly why I no longer fuck with men who has a lot of women friends or a female best friend. That's why I don't take it to heart when people talk shit on single women, or women who are divorced. The lowliest pieces of shits can get married easily on the basis that they have a pp and money to back themselves up. More and more women are either postponing marriage late or don't want to get hitched at all because of how commonplace this type of disrespect is. Nah, sis!

But then remind him how I want to move slow with what we do together, but find him attractive and am excited to progress. Yeah, don't do this. You're giving him your playbook and of course he's going to be upset by that because he's just a lowly scrote. You dodged a major bullet, but do keep in mind that saying this even to a HVM is going to confuse them or make you seem a certain way and therefore, move on to another woman who isn't thinking about sex so early on. It's so annoying. Because it's not about the nerdiness of the person or their weird hobbies or even their shyness. It's about laziness. That's it. I know it sounds harsh, but society in general is tough on laziness and lazy people. And when I say lazy, I don't mean people who are incapable of doing certain things due to a disability; that's wrong and that's ableism. What I mean is when a person is able bodied and can change their own lives and they just... don't. Basic hygiene is a necessity and…

Friendships between men and women do not exist, unfortunately. The only way it can work is if both of them are homosexual, respectively. I'm starting to even doubt the so called friendships between men and women who have been very old friends since early childhood. It's only a matter of time before he turns on her down the road. It is far better to have just 2-3 very close female friends you can count on no matter what versus dozens of mixed sex 'friends' who will soon betray you or hurt you sev…

No because this is all so true. I did not dated a man like this exactly (thank goodness), but I knew a man like this in a social circle I used to be in. It was such a drag having to deal with him whenever I wanted to talk to the other people in the circle, because no matter what I said or what I thought or how I felt about anything in particular, he had to twist it, minimize it, or shame me for it. Why are these types of men so idiotic and have shits for brains? If he is that ashamed of her, he doesn't fucking love her and shouldn't be with her. She deserves to be with someone who would be so proud to show her and her artistic talents off for the entire world to see. And he needs to get with a conservative, traditional, God-and-man-fearing woman. Actually, scratch that. All he deserves is a sock to use and put it away under his bed. Disgusting scrote.

I sometimes cry in private because of the way my father speaks to my mother, who has been a homemaker since she gave birth to her second child, which she now has four children in total. She told me last week that if she could go back in time, she would tell her younger self to finish college, so that she could become someone. And my dad cruelly laughed at her and said, "Yeah. You could have been someone by now." Never mind that it was because of all her sacrifices that he could have an amazing, …

I'm sorry if maybe I sound homophobic but if this is how some of them want to live their lives, for goodness sake, just become a sugar baby to a rich man and you'll be set for life. Hey girl, I'm gonna be honest, but FDS is critical against OLD and should really only be used to practice having boundaries rather than for something serious. There's literally like zero HVM on them, and especially as things are slowly going back to normal with regards to Covid, people are going out more and more and abandoning apps to meet people. I kindly suggest doing the same since you're way more likely to have success out there, talking to people face to face.

Men like this won't change and it took me too long to learn this. Granted, I have only had two very serious long relationships, but in both of those, they really wanted to have the perks of having a loyal girlfriend or what a marriage brings to them personally AND the fun of singlehood via flirting with other women, going out at strange hours at night, liking women's pictures online, hanging out with exes or other single women alone, etc. And I was treated badly for feeling horrible during all o…

Yup. The pandemic brought out the worst in men and had women working full time from home but also pretty much 100% of the cooking, cleaning, child rearing, getting groceries, etc. So many women became suicidally depressed during the pandemic. Girl I know you’re saying all of that as a joke but it sounds like a Saw movie and torturous. 💀 Beauty rituals are nothing but long, painful processes harming women and keeping us uncomfortable and too tired to realize our subordinations to men. Shapewear hurts, corsets hurts, high heels hurts, chemical acid peels hurts, waxing hurts, plucking hurts… it’s too much.

I am absolutely done with this society's obsession with struggle love. Nope. I'm done. Finished. Real love is peaceful. Real love is quiet. I'm gonna level with you, but.... friends with benefits doesn't exist. As soon as romantic feelings or sex enters the once platonic situation between two people, the friendship is over. A man cannot see a woman as a multi-dimensional, complex, multi-layered human being the way we see men. You are to play a role in a man's life: The Virgin Mary. The Good Wife. The Whore. And in cases where a man genuinely enjoys the company of a woman strictly platonically, The Friend. You can't be all of these a…

This situation isn't something I would put some moral qualifier on, as to whether you've done the right thing or the wrong thing. You got hurt and this man thought he could get you back, or at least have your forgiveness. Men are truly pathetic creatures like that, I'm sorry if that's harsh but I keep seeing this same shit over and over again, and it's true. I hope I don't step on anyone's toes here with my post. I'm Gen Y, born 1991. 98% of men of my generation are appalling and disgusting, but I seriously don't have it in me to be attracted to Gen X or older men in order to obtain a serious relationship; never understood that concept or why girls thirst after their friend's dads and such, or that silver haired ~bachelors~ were sexy because, just.. no. Bancroft books needs to become a mandatory read in middle-high school for female students, or college at the very least, because this is around the time that young women start dating for the very first time in their lives and they are going into toxic relationships with both wide eyes shut from lack of education of this subject.

Idc if this makes me sound hysterical, but men who enjoy anal are almost always rapists. The first guy I was with sexually tried to force me into it, but it never happened, and he was the one who forced me to let him take my V. I was very young at the time, and did not knew what happened until years later when the trauma finally hit me as to what really happened. Now this is what I like to see. Sick and fucking tired of men ruining women's lives by impregnating them and leaving them at their most vulnerable and disserting the poor baby behind. It takes a village to raise a child, not just one struggling mother. Meanwhile? Men are out here with a very long list of standards that they're looking for in the search of the mystical "golden pussy": She must, must, must be at least a decade younger than him. She must, must, must be a teenager at the time of meeting him for the first time. It is okay if she is underaged at the time, in fact, he prefers that strongly because he'll be able to imprint himself on her. Some standards may be relaxed here if the man in question is not too fond of teenagers, but she n…

Can we talk about how hard men work towards securing women that have little to nothing in common with them? First of all, this middle aged scrote goes after a woman who obviously looks significantly younger than he is, despite trying to make himself out into a victim when he realizes she is the exact same age as his daughter. If he had went after age appropriate women, this wouldn't have happened, but no, he needs the age gap to be as wide as possible. Age gaps are more than just creepy.... it i…

OP, I think this is something we as women really need to unpack when it comes to friendships with other people. Over and over again I’ll hear women saying they strongly prefer having male friends over female friends or having a boy best friend over a girl best friend, and it’s like…….. why? Did we ever stopped and asked ourselves why? Even in cases where it’s because we have masculine hobbies, there are tons of women out there that are like that. I have a theory about this. Now, I could be wrong, so definitely let me know, but I think it's like this: A lot of younger women get scooped up by an older man because, just like the older partner is unable to secure (or impress) a partner their own age, the younger partner is also unable to attract his or her peers. Lots of reasons for the younger partner, it could be that they are shy, or battling a hidden mental illness, autistic, traumatized by an abusive family and cannot get along with the…

As I’ve gotten older, I have experienced and witnessed too many times the amount of ugly/average looking men without a lot of positive qualities that are outright married with children for so many years and they are out here cheating. Like, are you sure those are the top men? 🤡 I feel like there’s way more married and otherwise cuffed LVM than the other way around.

The blunt truth is that pickmes are LV, or even NV, and LVM/NVM know this and feel bitter that they cannot 'access' the HVW that they actually desire. This is why so many men trade up once their lives start to get better and better; when they get the high paying jobs, when their social circle widens, when they start to look better, when their wallets start to get fatter, they feel that they can then access the cream of the crop. Men objectify women. This did not come from my mouth, but from thei…

Jesus Fucking Christ Almighty, if this is what this guy really wants, harden the fuck up already and just get married, then!!!!!! Literally all of those traits he listed sounds like something out of a 1950s catalogue to Buy-A-Wife. I'm seriously floored at these types of men who spell it out that they want a wife but without the title. That's not how reality works! No young woman who's struggling with the bills and paying back student loans is going to want to do all of that without pay. You wan…

"Sure, there are those few cases where people meet each other and live happily ever after." Am I the only one who's starting to think that this is becoming a lie, nowadays? Like, I could see that being true during the 90s when two people online start chatting randomly and realize overtime that they are the love of each others' lives or something, but that doesn't happen anymore. Now OLD is super common and normalized and only attracts the lowest of the low. The very few genuine people that get o…

THAT LAST PART! You are so right and it really hurts the very first time when a woman experiences this. I don't understand the complaints about the friendzone. Listen, I've had a crush on a person during high school, like REALLY liked them. They did not felt the same way. Fine. We took some space and time apart, while being cordial to each other during shared classes or group outings. That poor girl. I'm upset with the wife, but seeing her 26F thing makes me also see her as a victim to this entire mess, also. Isn't it funny that the 8 year gap between the wife and her husband is still not enough for him that he had to go to a 22 year old to feel satisfied? Men are never satisfied and always go out of their way to push what they want until it becomes illegal. (and still step over the legal lines anyway) Another thing also is how bisexual women are propositioned to accept super…

"I am looking for someone who is passionate about things" or "I will fall for you if you talk to me about your passions" ? Simple. They want to find a bright, intelligent, and/or talented woman to slowly erode her self esteem to shreds through years of negging, ignoring her conversations over these passions she has, comparing her to another woman with "better passions" than her, etc. There's really nothing more to it than that.

Homosocial men are the worst. When I think about HVM, I think about men who, although he understands the dynamics between men and women, and how heterosexuality comes into play, can at least still be respectful and courteous towards women without having to go into extremes: He doesn't outright ignore all women who aren't his mother, sexual conquests, or romantic partners, and at the same time, he doesn't get too cozy with women 'platonically' as an excuse to monkey branch, cheat, and/or triangul…

We are living in a porn culture and its getting worse by the year. I agree. I'm starting to think that damn near all cases of a woman feeling jealousy is actually her inner warning bells going off that the man is a no good scrote ready to screw her over. We were born with a gut feeling for a reason; women have to be extra alert in order to stay safe and get away from predators. That stupid quip from the other butthurt scrote about how acksually you can date a 24-25 year old as a 29 year old man got me rolling because I dated an older man and every year when I asked him about marriage he would drag his feet and got mad at me for asking. These men really gonna be surprised that younger women can also be marriage minded too? I thought they wanted a pure traditional woman who wants a serious commitment and wipe his ass…. "most of the time women aren't even sleeping with men they are emotionally attached to like that's not a crucial part of the process" Wait until he hears how wlw women can still make each other cum even if it's a one night stand versus straight people who get together casually. There was a statistical report on this and everything.

Most likely he's got his claws into another woman and he feels its a sure bet, so he's got no use for other women anymore. But even if that wasn't the case, who cares? A man who ghosts or blocks isn't worth the tears and it's the moment when you brush the dirt off your shoulder and keep it movin'.

This year I’m going to start learning about wealth portfolios, saving up, budgeting, buying nearly everything second hand and on sale, and how to retire with loads of money to cushion me at the end of my career. We can’t keep looking to men to help us or keep us afloat… those days are long behind us and it’s time to get financially smart about things!

I have had women ghost me or try to quicken things up between us and it really is off putting, and then it also makes me feel fake because I prefer to be selective and wait until things feel safe enough for me to take my clothes off. Casual sex is messy, dramatic, AND heartbreaking, even with another woman. Great post!

I am so sorry but so happy that you got away from that schmuck. It’s really insane how men don’t know how to move on with their lives or come to peace with previous relationships being over and done with. I won’t pretend that some women don’t do this of course, but…. Men win this round of who’s the most obsessed with the past. 🤦🏻‍♀️

It's just so transparent, like first of all, what guy would have the energy to even want to meet up with a woman face to face that they don't like at all, just to break up with them? So much easier and simpler to ghost her or just do the good ol' text to break up method, both are free of charge. It just seems a bit too contrived on his part to want to turn this into a much bigger deal than it has to be. See, this is why I don’t understand why so many men are against FDS. Women who are pickmes are incredibly unattractive once you get with one up close and personal. Men are not attracted to women who are too easily satisfied with being the forever girlfriend and bangmaid without the wedding ring… they’re attracted to women who has her own thing going on and can hold her own. This is why you nearly always see men cheating with women who have careers, or their single secretaries, or any other woman…

Too right. I find that many autistic women (any women with any mental or neurological disorders) at least try to be empathetic with other people and their struggles; men, on the other hand, simply use their diagnoses as reasons to become complacent and useless within their relationships.

The whole “give the underdog a chance” thing really pisses me if me now because it can be so incredibly dangerous for women nowadays, what with all the extremist political views against women and our rights and that we should pay for our sins of existing as women. Completely agree. Many of us have been damaged before by broken relationships or infidelity or abuse, but the adult thing to do is to take some time off of love and focus on ourselves, heal these wounds, and find peace before being in another serious relationship. Otherwise, we would repeat the same cycle or actually end up hurting an innocent person, even if it's done indirectly, due to our traumas. These are our responsibilities and men are no different.

I concur. Though 2 weeks is too fast for me, I think 3-6 months is enough for people to realize whether their partner is the one they want to be in it for the long haul or not. I could understand if someone was very young (late teens to early twenties), they could get away with dating someone for a few years before thinking about marriage. But for the older crowds, anywhere from 3 to 12 months of dating is enough. Any more than that, and you have to wonder what's going on... actually, scratch th…

It’s so crazy but sometimes, if you want to really know how a man sees or feels about you.. look towards how other people in his life treat you. If he has complained to them about you before, they will treat you like utter shit. If he told them that you’re just temporary, they won’t pay much mind or attention on you, or even give you the cold shoulder. And if he’s cheated on you and they know, they’ll look at you with pity or muffled laughter. It’s a mirror to how he really thinks about you.

This is why I stay the hell away from men who: Has many, many more female-to-male ratio of friends Keeps in contact unnecessarily with ex-girlfriends, ex-wives (unless its only because of children they have together before), ex-hookups, women who used to like him or he used to like them, etc. Has an overbearing female BFF or a woman he used to be quite close with "platonically" before (Oof, the STORIES I could tell y'all about this!) Always, these types of men are just creating harems as well as…

🤢 I'm so sorry you have to work with such... degenerates. Holy crap. And I feel so hard for their wives. In a prev job, I was stalked and really got scared by the escalating behaviors of a male boss I had to work with. He really creeped me out and he became bolder and bolder until I felt it in my gut that if I stuck around for one more shift, he would absolutely fucking rape me, or worse. I quit through the job placement agency and had to be a part of their investigation, which felt humiliating …

Thank you. I feel blessed with my job right now, hilariously enough. It's mostly women in my team with maybe one very annoying man who is obviously trying to fuck the younger ones, but I keep him at quite an emotional distance. And since it's remote, it's quite easy to do so. I have zero respect for men who are trying to cheat on their wives.

Question, how do you greyrock men you have to work with, without the risk of getting fired?

I agree, though I’ve definitely heard of LVM also wasting years off of a woman who has a decent or very high salary, because of some stupid fucking reason like she’s not hot or young enough or really just anything else that she supposedly lacks in his eyes. Someone on this sub said to the effect that while women reject men outright (with few exceptions), that men reject women indirectly by dragging shit out for years on end instead of just dumping her at the first red flag or bump on the road, a…

Men always told me that men date on their equal level or below them, while women were hypergamous and shoot their shots way above themselves. It really worked to keep me ashamed when I was younger; how dared I wanted to have a romance that was sweet, tender, and a man with a pretty face to look at. Clearly I was being a selfish broad with way too much standards and had to be humbled. Date the nice guys. Date the men who were worse off than you. You could build him up to be your dream man. Ride o…

I know you said not to wish you condolences, but dear fuck, I am so sorry for what you've been through. What he's done is nothing short of unforgivable. He really wrecked your life, your finances, your mental health, the children's innocence, everything. But I'm glad things are getting in order and you aren't too into the hole when it comes to the debt thanks to lawyering up. And good on you for going to therapy! It is so hard but worth it. How you hold yourself up is very inspiring, also. Your …

Alright, gather around and I’ll tell you a little story so that you can learn from me and not repeat the same mistakes I’ve done! I met this random man online, on a social website on mutual interests we both shared. We didn’t talked at first, just “liked” each other’s posts on a rare basis if we come across whatever we found of each other on the website. At the time, he was in an LTR with another woman, and I was distracted by other things. Cue to several months later and we began chatting plato…

This is so hard and again, I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart. Just be there for your mother as much as you can handle and… maybe see if there are other people you can reach out to? Friends, family, neighbors, or if your mom used to be active in a group like a church, let the members know what’s going on so that they can extend their help to the both of you. Community is what helped women survived since the beginning of time, especially when it’s mostly or all women in a group taking care…

Maybe there’s a certificate program you could attach to it? Like education to become an art teacher (they’re certainly needed online now!), or therapy if you have any interest in psychology to become an art therapist. Idk about you but those two careers are important in a healthy society, idc what anyone else says haha! But thank you for the advice the other day as well ♥️

I'm curious, but what kinds of jobs did you get with that bachelor's degree? I've always wondered where people ended up when they have a Fine Arts education, so don't mind my snoopin'. I am also learning something art related but it's mostly computer based stuff. 🤷

Oh honey, thank you! I already completed my first 2 years at a community college years ago, thankfully. I'm in a regular state school now to complete a bachelors degree. The program I'm in now, well, I'm having second thoughts, and I'm going to call one of the advisors this upcoming week to see what my options are before throwing in the towel and see if I can find another school to go to. But yes, I won't let anything stop me, thank you!

I completely concur and thank you so much for this thread. I for one am always so proud and in awe of the strong and powerful women who beat the odds and the obstacles she faced on the basis of her sex, and went up and beyond by making major bank at whatever she set her sights on- career, fame, money, what have you. I am always going to be thankful for the women before me who fought through blood, sweat, and tears to make things so possible for me right now. From voting, to being able to work an…

I'm divorced, so I can date another divorced person just fine. I don't have kids. I want them. But to be honest... dating a single father sounds a bit much for me, especially if the kids are under 18 and the mother is in the picture. Lots of dramatic stories I've heard from the new woman who just wanted to be with him but the kids + ex-wife makes it all so uncomfortable and weird, as well as the man himself who becomes toxic after a while. No thanks. If he is the love of my life and he has much …

I'm so sorry, OP. Honestly, this should be our biggest clue in the psyche in most men; they don't care about anyone else but themselves, or if it affects them in any way possible. The last man I befriended, I thought he was different. But he gave absolute no fucks about the bad days I would go through or if I needed a friend or a shoulder to cry about something. I had to perform emotional labor when it was HIS time to bitch about something, but me? He acted like I was too much to handle. I would…

Oh yes, that makes a lot of sense. A mixture of misogyny, xenophobia/anti-Asian sentiments, and capitalism. Sigh!

Genuine question but as much as I love all of the advice here (No PIV until commitment/marriage), I have to wonder if that’s basically what conservative and religious voters wanted in the end? I mean, they want the “good old days” back when women really didn’t have a choice or say so they HAD to wait until marriage to prevent unwanted infections or pregnancy.

It angers me that we as women have to do SO MUCH STUFF for the sake of safety no matter what, from online communities to walking out in public and risking assault. I love how the mods are taking care of this but it still makes me so angry about our lots in life as women still in the year 2021. Tired of it!

Ew lol, this really goes to show that LVMs unfortunately come in all incomes and it doesn’t matter if he has a lot of money if he’s going to act like that. Good on you for high tailing out of there after blowing his ego to pieces!

I've done CC and now I'm in a pretty nice state college to finish my credits. It feels nice to know the size of my debt won't cripple me as much as someone who went to a super fancy, rich private institution, though I do have respect for the very hard working students who fought against the odds and got into those kinds of places. Don't feel bad, OP. You're doing this for you, not him or anyone else.
