Did you know they were friends when you met them?

Consciously stop that thought process. Snap out of it then you start going down that path. Talk to everyone. Learn a little about them. Be a friend to get a friend.

That's a good start. Be more social within those activities to guys and girls. Just talk to people. Don't ask for approval or if they think you are good etc. Have a conversation about anything. Do that with everyone you meet.

Work on things you enjoy. Go play tennis or hike or join a book club or go dancing.

Really? I've had the exact opposite experience. I grew to be entirely content doing my own thing. Meeting women was just a plus. When that happened, I didn't care as much about the outcome - there was less pressure on me so I ended up having more fun with it.

Read the third to last paragraph. He's not happy with himself and needs to focus on his self-image. Dating will come easy after that.

You are looking for happiness from outside sources. You need to find it within you first. Focus on developing hobbies that make you happy - traveling, basketball, dancing, literally anything that gives you joy. Let everything else fall in place after.

I've found this to be the truth. Its SO hard to A) get past the sheer number or bots/trolls/fakes and B) be comfortable/interesting enough to meet in person. For me, I have a great success once we meet in person. It's just that it rarely gets to that point. Conversations on tinder are usually dull, repetitive, and it starts to feel like a grind.

Happens to everyone, including me. You have to accept the present. There are 2 paths - either you can sit alone with your thoughts and sadness or you can get out there and meet more women.

Thanks you too man.

I think so too. Thanks

Broke up about a month ago now. We were seeing each other at least once a week. I believe we were exclusive a couple of weeks in. She stayed over a few times, went to concerts, spent time with my friend circle, etc. It was going great so i wasn't expecting her answer tbh.

Did you treat her any differently when you realized you liked her? I guess I just don't grasp the difference between doing something extra for people that you enjoy being around and coming off as pandering and boring
/r/seduction24/04/18 05:41 PM

Honestly, I didn't think I wanted something serious until we started seeing each other more regularly.
/r/seduction24/04/18 05:40 PM

Correct. It didn't work out and i was sad for a while but i have to move on. I'm trying to understand if there was anything I can do to improve to create a longer term attraction.

Why do you say that? I also went in having 0 expectations from tinder. I ended up liking her a lot after a couple of really fun months.

There you go. Learn from your experiences and have fun!

You are currently seeing a woman but you're bitter over missed women in the past. Wth man. Everyone has different experiences. I went to a traditional school and did not have sex for those 4 years either. I improved myself because i stopped feeling bad for myself. You can't change the past, but you can change for the future. Enjoy your life and the woman you are with.

I've actually found a good deal of success with commenting on pictures and moving the conversation from there.

Same advice applies for other things in life. If you care exclusively about the result, you miss a lot of the things in between. Focus on improvement and understanding what works and what doesn't. There's no cookie cutter formula for life. There's millions of people out there. Some will like you, others wont. Have fun. Don't take it too seriously and enjoy the journey.

You already told her how you felt. You showed initiative and a willingness to wall away from her bs. The text won't do anything more.

Im in sort of a similar state. Take stock of what you want right now. Do you wanna just sleep around casually? Then do it and enjoy yourself as long as your not screwing over the chicks in the process. You do you. Don't worry about labels.
/r/seduction08/01/18 02:44 PM

Its not so much about sharing hobbies with women. Its about enjoying life and being happy with himself. Hobbies help focus on yourself and what makes you happy. Women want to be with someone who is confident and fun not someone who is sad and hung up on another chick.

I was in a similar spot. I used a silly trick. Anytime i was thinking about her or any sort of unhealthy line of thought, i would snap my fingers 3 times. I used to get lost in my head and snapping would bring me back to reality. Force yourself to move your thoughts elsewhere.

It's very clear to me that you are not ready to be meeting people. You need to come to terms with your current situation. Your ex isn't coming back. You are who you are. Build your own confidence through constructive actions. Get hobbies. Make friends. Focus on improving yourself and your thoughts. Then meeting women will come much easier.
/r/seduction20/12/17 03:41 PM

You are putting too much pressure on yourself to succeed. Go back to the way things were and build things naturally. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work. No biggie.

I know people are mocking you here but that's because they live in a much different culture. If i had to guess, you are from India. Times are changing. You need to establish good rapport with her before anything else.

Your story is almost identical to mine. I didn't know if I was ruining things by putting too much pressure on myself to become emotionally attached.

After meeting these women, out usually drops to once or twice a week.

All you need to share is names so you can address each other. Anything else seems procedural and ruins the flow.

Lol these comments. Title is literally how to get her number in 60s not how to build a lasting relationship in 60s. He set out to do something and did it. Stop over-analyzing.

I think that's a bit of a harsh take. Tinder is how i started to break out of my comfort zone. I used my experiences there to grow into real life interactions. It doesn't have to be black and white.
/r/seduction31/08/17 04:18 PM

Its hard to do this for some people. For others, it comes easy. It takes time, practice, and confidence to be calm, casual, and friendly to someone who you've just met. You've done the hard part - you got her to come out with you. Try your best to be yourself. Don't make it too serious.

For real. Takes a good deal of self control and confidence to say something like that in the heat of it. Good job bud.

5'8 is not that short. I have a friend who is shorter and also bald. He just got married to a beautiful woman. Need more details on hobbies, interactions, and etc.

I am 100% independent. I am a bit goofy but that's just because i love to laugh and make others laugh. I can't really think of anything else that would make me seem immature.

Agreed. Selfies are easily picked out and are a dime a dozen.

Imo, rehearsed conversations are unrealistic. Best experience is going out there and seeing what works for you.

Not sure why there is so much hate on this. Information on social interactions is hardly ever midnblowing or innovative. The simple fact that its being brought to the forefront of your attention means that it has done its job. While yes anecdotal, it doesn't mean there's nothing to gain from reading it. I subconsciously think some of these things and reading this has certainly help me become more aware of the bad habits I have.

Practice. That's it. Don't rehearse interactions, live them.

Honestly, it sucks being in my early 20's. Impossible to get a read these days.

It's not just about being, it's about displaying. They don't know who you are. Show them.

This is the truth. I had the same issue. Only now am I starting to get over it. Find things or events you like to do. For me it was concerts. I go all the time and meet women that share the same musical interest or just like to dance. Find your passions and share them.

There's always joking around to keep the conversation light but you also want to dig a little deeper. Amidst every woman will laugh at a good joke but what separates this one from the others? Ask a little about work and ambitions. Doesn't have to be super heavy. Ask meaningful questions to show you are interested in who they are and expect the same in return.
/r/seduction02/05/16 01:16 PM

Chemistry for me has always been about the quality of the conversation. The flow, the varying levels of seriousness, and how much we actually learn about each other.

Just simple things. Hold her hand. Give her a peck. You can even talk to her about what she and you are comfortable with.

Mostly 20-26. Thanks for the comment -wasn't sure if my method was off.

I felt like that for a long, long time. Only recently have I gotten over it as a 22 yr old. I had to grow because I moved away from my friends for a job. Making new friends took a few months but I got lucky since they were super nice. Picked up my first girl must last week so I'm still very much a work in progress. Biggest tips to making friends is smile, be friendly, and be yourself. You have to remember you can't be friends with everyone. You could be the nicest person in the world and someone…

Agreed. It is a lot more to sift through and requires more effort but it's more thorough in terms of profile.

What has worked well for me : "hey! You have a great smile!" Or any other thing that you find attractive. If you can't think of anything, then don't message her. Generally breaks the ice. Follow up her thanks with a question about her or something of the like. If she isn't giving you anything you with with, not worth it.
/r/seduction11/08/15 05:39 PM

Yes. I did it in a year or so. You have to genuinely be more fun though. Not just when you're around her. Go do things and invite her. Do them regardless if she comes or not.
