I need help too. I know this group of 4 shy girls. One of them I am acquaintances with and had a fair number of conversations, but the other three I only talked to once (individually). I'm pretty sure they are interested in me by the way they glance at me when I see them. Yesterday I had the chance to go sit with them but the table was full and under the stress of finals I just went over to my usual space by my lonesome. In retrospect I feel terrible for missing that opportunity and feel so anti…

I guess the main problem is having the courage to approach them. I never did anything like this before so I feel a little awkward (when more than 2 girls). I kind of already had indirect opportunities to meet them but didn't do anything so they might think I'm a little unfriendly.

I always thought red hair was kind of cool. Don't you think expressing a relatively rare recessive gene is kind of cool? Why are you letting it get you down?

I like this.

I have the capability to just do it if I wanted to but the problem is I think just saying hi isn't good enough and try to make the opening better when a situation arises. I end up thinking too long that usually the opportunity is lost or I wait so long that I think it would be awkward at that point or not worth all the thinking that was put in if the encounter doesn't go well. I should probably approach as soon I realize that I want to even if my planned opening is sub-par.

I tried a little story yesterday telling with a girl I knew (talked about a funny experience with a mutual acquaintance) and I got her to smile and laugh. Today, she came up to me and we had another conversation. These two incidents have been much more playful and it was actually very easy to do. I realized I have good, funny stuff to say. All I had to do was rephrase the content into a story type of format.

I have humor and I'm interesting but I'm fearful of escalation.

Good suggestions. I have a bunch of interesting things that I can talk about but I sometimes have trouble bringing them into conversation (because they are not directly relevant to the situation). Guess I have to work on bringing them into better context somehow.

Interesting. I have a few questions for you. So you approached both girls, touched and talked to both but escalated on one of them? How did you handle the other girl? What would you have done if they hadn't asked you to come with them? How did you initiate the making out when you went outside?

I didn't mean to use intimacy ladder as in the official term but rather loosely to explain my point. I don't really want a sexual partner at the moment (just want to understand what I would do if I did want one though) but I do want to get to know girls better. When is too late to be considered sexual interest? Suppose I see this girl a lot but never actually talked to her (but talked to her friends) is it too late?

"I was squeezing girls asses 10 seconds after I met them, and I got nothing more than giggles and hugs back." How do you do something like this without making it awkward? It's unfathomable to someone like me who feels like he can't even get away with shoulder touching.

Good question that I can't completely answer. I wear transitions so its harder for others to see my eyes outside when its really sunny (but on a sunny day people are more likely to be happy and smile anyway). Make sure you do what rubygeek said above about pulling in your smile and then slowly getting wider. I sometimes take off my glasses before walking past someone by pretending to wipe them.
/r/seduction17/03/12 03:50 AM
2

Just do it with the intent of making the smile genuine. Think about happy thoughts and let the smile come by itself. I've encountered 3 reactions to my smiling. Either she will smile back, look away, or look at you without a smile. If she smiles back that's great. You both win. If she looks away I interpret it as her being self conscious or shy which is her problem, not yours. If she looks backs at you without a smile she is either not used to smiling or very unhappy. In either case you will mak…

You shouldn't just blindly smile and keep your face in that position as rubygeek mentioned. I find it helpful to think of a good song that I like in my head so I'm expressing genuine happiness when I'm just walking around. Sometimes I think of something funny that I heard earlier in the day which makes me naturally smile.

Interesting points. I think it partly depends on the person as well. I tend to convey a sense of familiarity, kind of treating everyone like I knew them for years, so smiling naturally works for me in my approach. I haven't got any big yields but I am definitely seeing the benefits. Everyone should at least try smiling for a while and experiment with it.

Wow. You almost got sex in two hours with indirect? That sounds almost direct to me. How long is indirect typically supposed to take to reach that point? I was under the impression that you don't introduce anything sexual at the beginning and over several encounters with kino, you can get to that point.

Right. If I bring up the word it will be used to bring up an intellectual conversation about phobias or feminism or something (and with someone who probably knows what it means).
/r/seduction09/03/12 02:24 PM
1

Ok thanks. Not going to use this for new people or as an opening. I'll save it for the intellectual girl that I kind of already know. One of them is into feminism so I can use it to thread the conversation to discuss feminist theories and what not. I think I'm pretty good at making self deprecation look unreal and teasing. Just going to put this away in my toolbox for now though.

I've been wondering about this for a while. I stopped masturbating for like a week before and while I do feel more alpha in general, there are moments where I want it so bad that I start feeling needy and a little crazy. I don't know if I just need to wait longer or if its just not working. Working out helps a lot but I often don't have time to do this. I'm going to try to fit working out into my schedule and see what happens.

Can you give specific examples of pants that would be good (assuming they fit)? I'm doing some research on clothing. What type of pants should be worn with the button downs? Thanks.
/r/seduction08/03/12 01:58 PM

I'm completely inept at fashion and clothing. Just what are nice pants? If I wanted to check out these nice pants, what are things I could search in google?

Baggy ill fitting clothes and t shirts exactly describes what I wear every day. I like button down shirts and they should be better but I don't think I will be ditching the cargo pants any time soon. Any suggestions for a slouch that wants to change?

I think I maybe guilty of wearing clothes that are too big which makes me look short. How low should the shirts come down? I've been working out to improve my body shape. Is there anything I can do make myself look taller?
/r/seduction08/03/12 12:53 AM
2

Yeah I guess I don't like true openers because it gives the impression that you planned the encounter and you don't appear as interesting/spontaneous as doing this. Sometimes though I have the problem of not knowing what to say and these cases destroy me.
/r/seduction08/03/12 12:44 AM
2

I'm about the same height as you and feel the same way. For some reason I look shorter than I am so usually I'm not attracted and willing to seduce a girl unless she's a few inches shorter (its my body type I guess). Its a shame I have these inner game problems. I think working out and getting sleeker clothing will help my issue though.

I'm curious to see if it is working as well. I know you can't compare it to anything else but are you getting conversations? In what situations do you use this? I tend to not use this opener because it's too boring for me so I usually say hey and follow up with some line about our surroundings or something we have in common. If they answer the question/say something interesting back AND continue the discussion I know they are interested while the uninterested ones will just answer the question i…

Well if it works, it works. Good for you. But it seems as though inspiration has a stronger effect and a lower chance of turning awkward when you are already somewhat familiar with the person.

It it were me I would keep talking about something. Its not like you approached just to get a date, and it would seem kind of rude (unless she was completely uninterested I guess). But she did look at him on the way in and out which indicated a little interest.

By the way, what do you think about a guy wearing transition glasses?
/r/seduction07/03/12 01:59 PM
1

Yeah you shouldn't suppress smiling when you see someone hot. In fact I think its easier in a way smiling at hot girls because I'm more attracted and I come off as more genuine (I hope at least). And there's nothing retarded about a smile party!
/r/seduction07/03/12 01:54 PM
2

Just get more experience talking to girls as you said. You shouldn't be freezing up just because you are experiencing hotness. I know I kind of have the same problem (not as bad) because I get an erection a lot when I'm with a hot girl. Focus on what you are going to say next rather than her body.
/r/seduction07/03/12 02:26 AM

I wear transitions and I don't want to replace them for obvious reasons. Will this hurt my chances (although it makes it easier for me to keep eye contact knowing they can't see me as well)?

I have this same question except the setting is not at a party but rather a more academic setting like in a classroom on campus or something. They will be talking about shopping or something girly and I will want to approach (they glance at me so I take it that I can join in). However, I don't want to destroy their conversation or join in that subject. How can I smoothly get in?

Pretty interesting stuff but have to agree with plasstik. At least it reminds me that I don't need to be attractive and all I need is confidence to get chicks.

The exact same thing happens to me sometimes. I also consider myself of the nerdy category and find myself losing interaction with HB7's because of this separation of interests. What I try to do now is build my knowledge in subjects I don't really like and do research on stuff like this on my free time so I can at least say something about the topic and then steer it off to something similar that I do enjoy (also makes you look smart). I would say in the situation you were in it would probably b…

Posts like this remind me that blindly following seddit advice is not always a good thing. Everyone has their own style and have things that they are comfortable doing and are good at. I have the same problem. I'm pretty gregarious but don't approach that much out of fear that she is just pretending to listen. I usually get the best conversations when she breaks the ice. I guess I just have to smile more, look more approachable and approach if she makes eye contact to get the same success.

Nice to have a female perspective. I have another question. There is this group of girls that I want to talk to (I kind of acknowledged them individually already so I'm not a complete stranger and they are in my class). I want to approach but they will be talking about shopping or something girly. However, I don't want to destroy their conversation or join in that subject. Yeah I'm going to start with upper arms on friends and then move on to what Tokyopickup said. My only fear is that I may compromise my personality too much by doing this. Everyone knows I'm introverted and although I sometimes get a laugh by being funny and some good conversations, I don't want to freak people out by being too different. However all this said, I do want to change who I am somewhat. I just need to make sure my future actions are consistent with this person I strive to be.

Just a light smile all the time like the first choice (like a smirk I guess). Not a full grin unless something legitimately funny as opposed to just being happy. You might want to exaggerate the first couple of days though so you don't' have actionpotential's problem.
/r/seduction05/03/12 02:11 PM

I kind of had this problem (I would be happy at times but never smiled). This is what I did. For one whole day I thought about happy things and smiled. The purpose was to loosen up my muscles and psychologically train myself to express my feelings as well as get used to smiling. Ever since that day I have found it much easier to smile when I am happy. I recommend trying this exercise and in the future try to think about good things a lot in general that make you happy so that you smile naturally…

I often wonder about this topic (perhaps more philosophically than OP). On one hand I know there are objectively no moral truths, that sex is just sex, and perhaps I should just do what I enjoy when I am given the chance if it does no harm to others. On the other hand I have a traditional family who brought me up telling me that I should wait and the fact that there is virtue in patience and value in such an act. You say do what you want, but what if I don't know what I want?

I also try for the "I've known you for years" impression when talking to new people but I can only pull it off verbally. I'm completely inept at the physical part. How do you initiate touching with someone you never touched before but have conveyed this sense of familiarity with?
/r/seduction04/03/12 05:22 PM
1

Yeah I used to always look away because of this fear. Now I always let them look away first (if female I'm interested in). This is my logic. If she looks away immediately then there is no issue and you can look away. If she continues to look, that means she is interested in you and you can keep looking at her. The longer the look the greater the interest/attraction I suppose so I sometimes get the courage to approach after an encounter like this. I guess its only creepy when you look at them whe…

It seems like once you have confidence and some humor under your belt, as well as experience, you should be able to be yourself (authentic) without relying on seddit game strategies and stuff. At that point can you can just do what seems right and be honest?

The exact same thing happened to me with a mystery girl. I want to try talking the next time I see the same person twice but I get nervous talking to people passing by because they might not have time, and there is such a short time to initiate anything (also I wouldn't know what to say). I have no trouble talking with a stranger who happens to be in the lab with me though. What would you say is the next step after making people smile (I think I already do that somewhat)?

First of all, get out a notebook and write down what you would say next time in a same or similar situation and what you will say next time you see that person. Keep doing this because I was in the same situation as you two weeks ago and have talked to many attractive people since that time because of note taking and preparation. You should write down a few things that involve the environment around you or some shared quality. I guess you could bring up the awkwardness but I would rather not bec…

Great advice. I wish I was reminded of this before I went out this morning. I wanted to talk to this girl I was kind of interested in but I never made the approach because I thought she was with friends and wouldn't be interested in me. I also assumed she was in a bad mood because she was walking fast and not really smiling. Regret hurts and even though I felt good about myself I made too many assumptions about the other person which were not justified at all.

I have always had trouble striking up conversations but in the last couple of days I have been making progress. What I do when I meet someone is try and bring up a shared experience and then make some funny comment about it to make her feel connected. What openings do you typically use to talk to people? Maybe what you bring up is too important that they think you are trying to get information from them. Are you smiling? I'm curious to see what you are doing because I suspect I may need to help …

/r/seduction26/02/12 03:58 PM

This is exactly what I don't do. I get nervous talking to people I know nothing about and feel that I need to know something about them before the first conversation. Even if I do know some stuff about them I still have trouble sometimes finding an opener. Also, I imagine in real life the Asian hottie would get annoyed even though she is only being disturbed for a minute. I am going to try this out on all the people that I kind of see regularly before doing it on strangers.
/r/seduction26/02/12 03:57 PM

A side question, but a lot of the people I want to approach I encounter in the library or while studying (the smart ones are interesting to me after all). I usually don't approach because I don't want to interrupt them but some of these people I see multiple times so it would benefit me to approach. Not sure how to open.

She isn't really that important to me but I guess the thought just tickled my fancy. READ THIS I was being somewhat sarcastic (lol). I didn't mean that I would actually want to marry them but that I might consider something a little more than friendship (The thought would at least occur). But I am still a little confused on how the "something more" route is initiated (How would you act differently)? Ok I think this is the core problem: I am starting to feel that my view of women is slightly messed up (due to never having female friends which was due to my parents not wanting me …

Ok I will just do it starting tomorrow. I guess my final question is what is the difference between the friend route and the "something more route"?

I hate to bother you again but I have another question regarding your great response. How is the process you mentioned different for dating? If we managed to do what you stated above really well, I think I would like to marry the person and not just be their friend.

Thanks for the input! You make it seem so easy. I put another post today about how I got complimented by a girl for playing piano but I failed to have a conversation (because I'm awkward). Next time I see her i am going to try this out (I think she has the same job as me). The problem I see happening is that she may end up being interested in talking and we may have a good conversation but it may be a one day thing. How do I keep the friendship going? I've had some conversations before but I don…

I suppose your right that I'm judging too quickly. But you have to make some judgement before you act. I just think its a lot easier judging who I'm compatible with regarding males. Its hard for me though because I'm not sure what type of girl could be my friend. I don't have a template of experience to go off of after all. Anyway I have been scouting a bit, and there a few people who I can try this with. Its still hard though because, its easier for a girl and boy to be uncomfortable together t…

Yeah good point about the connection. I already do a lot of sports, volunteer work, etc. I can only connect with someone if they are smart, independent and unique minded like me (same values). Its a shame most of the girls I come across are generic and gossipy. Its also hard unless the girl is by herself because you are overshadowed by the group mentality. So in reality, the odds are against me. Also I know its out of my league, but how would dating be different?

So I guess just talk to her the next time I see her and make up for my awkwardness today (hoping she will remember me)?

Also, how far apart should you stand for interactions like this? There was a decent amount of space between us when she spoke. Should I come closer? Is there an optimal friendship space?

I don't do band stuff. I just play piano in public places.

Thanks. Do you have any advice about what I could say when someone compliments me (like in that situation)? I want to make sure I don't stumble next time.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
