theres a girl I know but rarely ever talked to Stop right there. You like her but you rarely ever talk to her? There's your first mistake. If you like a girl, ask her out. I decided to message her some time later on twitter You should always talk in person if you can. Talking on the phone comes second. Any sort of text messaging comes last... explained to her im not flirting or anything If you're not flirting then what are you doing? I told her about how im usually really really analytical and n…

First off I'm curious why you say you never thought you'd post to this sub? But to answer your question, yes chances are this is a lost cause but there's nothing to lose in trying to salvage the ship. I don't know if I'd call her or directly invite her to something as the other posters suggest, because these are both pretty high pressure moves to make with a girl you barely met, and there's nothing girls hate more that high pressure. An alternative is to send some zany text to try to get her att…

Honestly though you have to not worry about seeming creepy. It's going to happen at some point. The other day I walked up to a girl walking away from the subway platform and said "hey how's it going" She gave me this look like I was a fucking maniac and walked away. Another day there was a girl at a stoplight who wasn't even looking at me - I walked up and said "hey how's it going?" she gave me a quizzical look so I said "this is random but I think you're cute so I wanted to say hi". Thirty seco…

I always say something like "I can get it" and then gauge her response. If I get a "are you sure?" I say "you get the next one" (thus seeding the idea for a 2nd date). If she says "no let's split it" then I say alright and split it. Unless she has very classical views on dating (which you should be able to tell by the time it comes to pay), the girl is not going to expect you to pay 100%. Different girls can have very different views on this. Believe it or not I went to dinner with a girl this p…

I looked at the Amazon preview for Rapid Escalation and so far it seems like a catalog of outrageous, scandalous sex stories. Is there actually something to be learned from it?

When you wok them like their next boyfriend then try to escalate you're pushy. I'm not sure what you mean by this but first off, I should mention that I am completely open to developing a long term relationship with a girl at this point. She wants to wait to 'decide' to habe sex eith you. When you're alpha and escalate you're spontaneous and take what you want The implications of what you're suggesting are that it's possible to essentially seduce a girl into bed without her being consciously awa…

You can give them a devilish smile and get that last drink back at the house I feel like this only works if either a) she is decidedly dtf from the get-go (which is out of your control) or b) she's at her peak level of being turned on right at the moment you ask her. This comes from experience and executing a proper push/pull strategy to get her turned on. If you ask her over and she's not turned on and declines, then you've played your hand and got nothing to show for it.

Thanks for the input. I suppose I'm stereotyping but that's not really my intent. I'm speaking from experience here. I recently blew it with a really great girl who was incredibly attracted to me at the beginning. She was clearly having a really good time throughout the first date, so I ramped it up physically. Perhaps I should have done more push/pull, but in any case I invited her back to my place and she declined. She did agree to a second date over text, and we went ice skating a few days la…

Managing to get her back to my place or her place is a huge difficulty of mine. Everyone always says for the first few dates to be weekday dates (so you don't look like a loser who has nothing to do on the weekend), but the problem is that the girls in my area are very career-focused. Therefore they seem quite hesitant to stay out too late since they're worried about getting up early in the morning. Not to mention that all girls know what's up when you invite them over... yet very few of the typ…

There's a lot of info out there - learn to filter out the good from the bad. Before I found Seddit 6 months ago, I was 24 year old and had never had any sort of romantic interaction with a girl, ever. I want to get married and have kids someday, so I resolved to change that. Most of it is just about taking chances and leaving your comfort zone. It's not an easy road. Since entering "the game" half a year go I've kissed probably two dozen girls and slept with two. I've been going on a lot of firs…

There's 8 billion people on this planet, some of us are bound to have different opinions about things. I just went on a date with a girl I met at a stoplight. She had headphones in, wasn't even looking at me, and I just walked up and said I thought she was cute and wanted to say hi. She was flattered, very intrigued, and 1 minute later I had her number. Then again, the other day I said hi to a girl who was walking next to me as I left the subway. She turned, gave me a disgusted look, and rolled …

What in god's name do are you supposed to do and talk about on a first date to get a girl coming back for more? I typically go for drinks and try to bounce venues at least once, and try to get the girl to talk about herself and stuff she's interested in. This approach has been a dismal failure for me, so I don't know if it's just bad luck or the type of girls I'm attracting, but honestly if you have any actionable first date advice it would be very much appreciated.

Useful info for people who lack experience but one thing you have to keep in mind is that you must look for feedback from the girl. If you're trying to ramp things up and she's not giving anything back you're not going to get anywhere and you'll only manage to make her uncomfortable. Not to mention the fact that if you move too fast you're likely to get stonewalled by LMR. The escalation must proceed mutually.

Thanks for the input. I've heard of No More Mr. Nice Guy but haven't read it yet. I do go to the gym - I'm tall, somewhat muscular, and reasonably good looking. Garnering initial attraction hasn't been much of a problem, and I've recently been on first dates with some highly attractive high quality girls. My problem seems to be that I suck at doing dates. Simply being flirty, interested, and playful clearly does not work. I seriously don't understand what the hell all these other guys are doing …

I've found it sometimes works better to seal the date in person. I.e. when you're getting her number, ask if she wants to go on a date that week, and find out if she's free.

First off, please excuse the other posters in this thread. Maybe it's just my imagination, but there seems to be a recent influx of trolls on this sub whose sole purpose is to just shit all over anyone here looking for help. For one thing, your friends are likely embellishing their sexual exploits. Stop worrying about them and comparing yourself to them, because doing that will only hurt you. In any case, being able to confidently talk about sex is not a prerequisite for getting laid, so stop wo…

At what point did girls start texting you? I feel like I'm always the one initiating contact, planning dates, asking how they're doing, etc. I try to keep it to a minimum to avoid seeming needy, but nothing ever happens if it doesn't come from me. Not to mention that most of my first dates have been utter failures. What did you do to get them to start chasing you?

This is just hand wavy nonsense. I don't employ canned lines and gimmicks, other than the basics of kino and active listening. I'd appreciate actionable advice - not a bunch of conjecture about what sort of "vibe" I get off (which is something you couldn't possibly know about without meeting me).

lol I do interact with real people, a lot. Among my circle of friends I'm considered extremely outgoing and a social butterfly. It's true that I lack experience in relationships with girls. I'm finally getting some but since I've started pretty late I've got a ways to go. Your suggestion that I'm having trouble because I'm still awkward is just conjecture on your part, and doesn't seem to line up with the fact that I have no trouble attracting women in social situations. I can talk and hold a co…

I have a feeling you're still doing the "Nice Guy" kind of stuff. Beating around the bush, not completely telling the truth, etc. I'm not sure what you mean by calling this "nice guy" stuff. Everyone here makes a big deal about being "dominant" and portraying yourself as "alpha" (even if people dislike using that term). For me, the "truth" at this point is that I have never been in a long term relationship, which I think a lot of girls would find weird and would be a turn off. People here also s…

I understand what you're saying but at this point I feel like I'm repeating the same things over and over. I try to mix it up but there seems to be some sort of subtle line between being leading the interaction and establishing comfort that I just can't straddle.

Okay I'll try to get started on these, but if you happen to have a TL;DR that would be useful. I have another first date in an hour and 4 more over the next 4 days.

Yeah at this point for me, I only wish I had this problem. I go on plenty of first dates but that's where it stops. What do you do on your dates that makes them go really well? How do you establish chemistry? How do you end up closing?

So far I feel like I'm been relying too much on non-verbal escalation. I almost never sexualize the conversation primarily because I don't know how to do it without making the girl feel uncomfortable.

I think the real issue here is dishonesty, and it's not something that's specific to the PUA community but rather to modern dating life in general. Girls can use guys just as much as guys can use girls. I recently met a girl at a bar and we really seemed to hit if off. She ended up inviting me home only to freeze me out at the last minute. That didn't bother me at the time because I didn't enter the PUA community to simply get laid. I came here because romantic interactions with other human bein…

Most guys lose girls by being not aggressive enough. Perhaps, but I think it's important to be in tune with how the girl is feeling at a given moment. When you invite a girl back, deep down she knows what's up. Therefore it seems like you could make her massively uncomfortable if you push too hard. There are certainly some girls who probably won't go home with you until past the 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th dates - right? How do you proceed in that case?

I saw this line on seddit before so I used it (while grinning). The girl laughed and said "that's a great line." The fact of the matter is that at that point it doesn't really matter what you say, so best ot amuse yourself while being polite and showing decency.

One thing that irks me is the advice about turning the conversation sexual. I would think it depends on the girl. if the girl is comfortable with that stuff then yeah it's great. But if the girl is more modest, I think the transition into these topics is a bit tricky: Discuss about favorite sex positions. Mention uncommon places where you have had sex before. Ask her which parts of her body are more receptive to sexual arousal. I don't know a whole lot about this but it seems like talking about …

Okay, but how do I really know if there's chemistry? In fact, what even is chemistry? Can you give an example? I understand it's more of a feeling. There was a girl I knew for a few weeks this summer and we definitely had great chemistry, but it was just spontaneous... she moved away two weeks after I met her though... I haven't really been able to reproduce that yet since (other than maybe a tiny bit with the girl who is leading me on and using me as an option). How do you create chemistry? Als…

Good advice but one thing I'm worried about is offending her. She works in a political office where there have been sex scandals, so I could always bring that up...but she seems like more of the nice girl type. As far as hair touching... She'll probably be wearing her hair down to her shoulders. So while she's talking, or during a lull, I just reach out to touch it like she has a piece of lint in it and if she doesn't flinch, I move in and kiss her?
/r/seduction07/01/16 10:28 PM

All great advice, thanks. I really don't have any funny stories involving sex/nudity/lingerie though. Can you give an example? Would it be okay to use one from popular culture? How do I touch her hair? Like just sorta ply with it between my fingers? Should I put my hand around the back of her head and touch her hair there?

I don't have a dog, but I do have some okay drink choices (good wine, good whiskey, and homemade hard cider). There's not that much else particularly interesting about my place but I'm looking for more ideas. How do you generate good chemistry? Also how do you initiate a kiss and what kissing technique do you use? As far as the place, the wine bar I want to go to is attached to the bar we met in. Is that tacky? Is the karaoke thing a good idea or bad?
/r/seduction07/01/16 05:04 PM

Okay, well what would you suggest for tonight? I already suggested going to a wine bar. There's one that's a 10 min walk and another that's a 20 min walk from my apartment. The 20 min walk one is in a much more hip neighborhood. This girl literally lives just across the street from me. There's one or two decent bars a few blocks from us too. What should be my plan of action and how can I invite her over?

My pickup talk is basically me being an "overly enthusiastic child" a la Nick Sparks' advice in this video. I ask them about themselves, act super excited about everything, let them fill in the awkward pauses, etc. In fact, my entire behavior around girls is based on the advice from that video. What about kissing technique? Is this actually a good idea? How do I go about inviting her over and how do I know if the time is right? I feel like just straight-up asking her over to my apartment is a li…

Still, dont invest yourself that much unless you are looking for a LTR Well that's the problem... all I'm looking for is to see her again. That's all I've been looking for with any of the last 10 girls who I've gone out with. This sub has a "next one up" mentality and I understand why, but in my case, it's just a steady string of strikeouts. I feel like I'm doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results...

Thanks man I really appreciate your input. Honestly I feel like I've made tons of progress but I still feel so far from success. It's like I'm building a house of cards where if I make one wrong move the whole thing tumbles down and I don't get a second chance. It's just the same thing over and over... girl is initially attracted, we go out, it seems like she had a good time, and then I just get ghosted. My advice to you would be to stop wanting things to happen so badly and relax a bit. Sure, closing is important but you can never really force a close and the more you try, the more you will fail because it shows that you're really needy. I dunno, because I've tried the "be indifferent" route and all that ever happens is that the girl stops responding, I stop texting, and we never hear from each other again. All my "neediness" ever consists of is trying to maintain some level of communication af…

If you want to know about me - I'm tall, relatively muscular, work out regularly, and fairly good looking. I have an interesting job, interesting hobbies, and a bright future. My major weakness up to this point has been social anxiety. I had virtually no social life in high school and college. I never had any romantic interactions with girls until this year. That has changed completely to the point where now I go out every weekend, and get invited to parties all the time. Since this summer I've …

I'm 25. I've been playing the numbers and trying to go out with as many girls as possible but nothing has really progressed beyond a first date, at least not with the girls I actually like. As to this particular girl being interested in someone else, I suppose it's possible but that seems like complete conjecture at this point. And what do I do going forward? Like I said, she seemed happy to text on Wed/Thurs/Fri and then suddenly she goes dark. Do I try calling her tomorrow or Monday? I feel li…

I agree with you on OP's situation, but what do you think of the hot/cold theory in general? I recently had an interaction that escalated pretty heavily, but the girl put a cap on it (posted about it here) I'm considering whether the next time I see her I should try to build a little sexual tension, e.g. act like I'm going to kiss her then pull away. She already agreed to go out Tuesday - I'm hoping to get drinks with some friends of mine and meet up with her there. Mostly because I had already …

The questions you're referring to are from beginners. By its very nature this sub is going to draw a lot of inexperienced guys who have bad habits and tendencies.

I've come to realize that as guys we won't ever truly understand why women behave the way they do especially with regards to flaking. This is because attraction for women is fundamentally different than for guys, and a lot of it comes down to just how they're feeling at a given moment. This is often completely outside your control and you shouldn't get hung up on it. Rather than text things like "I don't do flaky", just give her radio silence and proceed to ask out other girls. You can also do m…

Well just so we're clear I am talking about at the end of the date, before you part ways. Do you mention going out again? If not, when and how do you contact her? (I.e do you have more success texting or calling?) I recently had a first date I thought went well. Good conversation, lots of kino, kissed 3 times. I waited about 3 days and then texted her asking how she was doing. She was very slow to respond and when I saw her again (at work) it was clear she just wanted to be friends. I don't know…
