At least she’s being honest. Don’t ask the question if you don’t want the answer. It sounds like your playing a truth or dare game that teenage girls play. And being argumentative about it just reinforces your beta behaviour therefore giving reason into why she says this to you/shows little respect for you. Also there isn’t a double standard with most women, logic and women are not compatible.

Yeah fair enough if you’re doing it that way

You shouldn’t care what people think of who you follow, you follow who you want. Also unless you are linking with girls through Instagram, don’t communicate with them through social media, use text instead, if you approach a girl and she gives you her Instagram to communicate most of the time they are doing it for validation and attention.

The perspective I always have is that if this is rock bottom, then the only way is up. In reality not many people know what this is really like, you have a roof over you head, you’re fit to work, you have access to a gym; great this is all you need to build a great foundation for a good life. In life you are only going to get out what you put in, if you are lazy and complacent then you aren’t going to get much out of life, if you are productive and ambitious then you are going to get a lot out o…

Move to the Middle East, your girlfriend will have to wear a burqa.

Get a shit job, stick it out for a while, I’m sure 90% of people on this sub have done the same, take some online classes get a few online qualifications which are easy to get now and make something of your life. You don’t have to feel sorry for yourself you just get on with it, you’re only 18 which means you have plenty of time to find out what you’re good at, make mistakes and make a decent living. If you feel that you’re at rock bottom then the only way is up but at the moment you have a roof…

I’m talking about women when you say treat them like a 5 year old, not the kid.

If this post isn’t satire then don’t use that as serious advice. It’s true that a lot of women can be immature and ignore logic when they faced with criticism or in an argument, this is when you have to back away from the situation and no contact. If you genuinely have to treat a plate/LTR like a child then you’re probably not in the right relationship, you just have to be more mature and be in control of the situation, whatever it might be. And also if you’re getting mad at a 6 year old that so…

One of the best pieces of advice I’ve seen on this sub in a while, seems like most people read off a script now instead of using their own brain

If you don’t know ask her, she’s clearly not a friend so it’s not like you would be sacrificing a friendship. What have you got to lose. There’s also no point flirting if you aren’t going to escalate, girl’s gay friends flirt with them and at the moment you are one of her girlfriends. You have nothing to lose so just ask her.

Approach, worst she could say is no. Sounds as if you didn’t strike while the iron was hot and you wanted her to make the first move. Next time you see her ask her out; if she says yes, great, if she’s says no then take it as a lesson: don’t bide your time and go for it.

I agree, I was in control of the situation before I had too much to drink but also mixed with impatience because we normally leave the parties together early but this night it was getting late and let my emotions get the better of me.

Hanging out first time I don’t think is a good idea because as I said it’s a very awkward setting, much easier in a vibrant environment where people are talking as it encourages them to talk as well. Maybe after a couple times of hanging out when you’re more comfortable with each other.

I’ll clarify on why people are saying you should join the military: you’ll be solving six of your problems that you have stated. The other one is your mental health, start working out. If you don’t have access to a gym then just do simple stuff like push ups, squats, cardio etc. If you want to see results fast then apply to the military NOW. It may seem like it may not be for you but it will feel as if your life is actually going somewhere instead of just wasting away. But the main thing is you’…

I don’t think the library is the best place to game; a lot of awkwardness if it’s very quiet, girls won’t be high maintenance with their appearance and therefore less confident, might actually want to study as that’s what they’re there for and trying to game them can make them irritated. If you’re asking them to study then you might as well ask if they want to go on a walk or a coffee, that way they will actually be in a mood for talking and you’ll be able to game and eventually go back to yours…

How often do you host house parties because it could be the case that people in your circle may be taking advantage your hospitality instead of trashing up their own place (I know this from experience). Maybe the next time someone says “are we having drinks round yours tonight” say “no not tonight, I haven’t seen your place, why don’t we go round yours”.

Facetime all night for two weeks? She knows you’ve got no other plates and all of your attention without you laying a finger on her. You’re one of her girlfriends bro and she knows that you’re not high value. Don’t do this in future, even if you haven’t got shit going on pretend like you do and make her want your attention not the other way around.

This isn’t LinkedIn, go on that site and network. Also there are more jobs than online assistants, if you need the money then there are plenty of minimum wage jobs out there.

Listen I think that we would all like to think of ourselves as Don Draper but it’s a tv show, if you start to act like a character on tv that had all their lines rehearsed and written for days then you’re just going to look like a weirdo. If you want to be confident then just do things that make you confident, work out, be well groomed, work hard and cold approach (I know this is difficult but maybe start with tinder atm). I never believed in the whole fake it to make it especially with confiden…

I don’t think that’s there’s much point trying to be more “energetic”, if you’re a quiet and low maintenance guy then there’s nothing wrong with that and you’re probably going to be like that till the rest of your life. You should probably try to make yourself more interesting, pick up a few hobbies like hiking, cross fit or biking, something that as well as active enables you to meet more people and then be able to talk about other people about these hobbies. People would instead gravitate towa…

The fuck are you talking about? Your dad just died and all you care about is getting some pussy? I know use the money he gave you in his will to buy a prostitute, is that what you want to hear? Get your priorities straight.
