A cuck, for sure. Inability to make decisions, handle problems, and keep a handle on his emotions. Can't do basic planning. Look at how he handles a crisis, handles stuff when you're worried, etc.

Hi! Nothing wrong with having tomboyish hobbies or careers. Being feminine is a state of mind. Stop swearing, wear stuff that is flattering, and just be nice. You don't have to be anyone that you're not, but just try to be nice and considerate to others.

Could you get out a day a week, even? You could register as a substitute teacher in your state. Most of the time they don't have requirements on how often you work. Look up any degree requirements in your state.

He sounds toxic and doesn't sound like a good match for you (or anyone, for that matter). He sounds possessive. Telling you that you don't love him when he doesn't do something for you is toxic. Getting a tattoo for someone, moving in quickly (and without marriage) are not things RPW generally promotes as they are not beneficial to women in most cases.
/r/RedPillWomen21/07/21 02:06 AM

Nothing about this is high value in any way. I hope I am not breaking rule three by saying this, but you are not showing high value actions right now. I'd suggest nun mode, get the tattoo removed (if you can) or covered up and get some therapy.

Social media isn't necessary, no. If you want it , though, just be careful to follow more artsy stuff or fun stuff. Nothing that will crush your self esteem. You're 17 so many men may just see that as their form of communication, but definitely don't if you're uncomfortable with it. Snapchat, especially, is a no.

As Annekke said, they likely genuinely think they're helping. Just be polite and assure them that you're happy the way you are.

I'm not slut shaming? What did I say that was remotely slut shaming? I don't dislike or hold any dislike towards the women in sex work. I understand that they're just trying to survive.

Most jobs don't usually involve possible sexual violence, stds, pregnancy, breaking up marriages, etc. Many of these women get murdered, stalked, etc. As well as many of the women not being there by choice or suffering from sexual trauma. Of course, this could/does happen anyway and it happens to men (dangerous working conditions is obviously a huge problem for men, as well).
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/20 07:54 AM

It is a both genders fault. This is an issue on both sides. But Aaren is right. This is an internal issue that legalizing sex workers won't fix.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/20 07:10 AM

It isn't about men. The women are often being exploited.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/20 07:09 AM

This. Its very common. Why do you think you see pretty women with ugly men? Lol.

If you just want to lose it and get it over with - don't tell her you're a virgin. If you want a committed relationship, tell her.

> “She said he was just a friend because she was looking for a new boyfriend to replace him. This girl saw you as a potential option.” This is something that women are very aware of and talk about. They don't use words like monkey branching or hypergamy, but my friends have talked about their "back pocket guy".

You could try wearing a few more feminine pieces to see if it appeals to him. It will to most men, but it might not for YOUR man and that is the most important. So while you see a lot of posts that talk about being feminine - if your husband truly doesn't care or prefers you to wear clothes you can get dirty in, don't use those steps. As far as sex goes, initiate, initiate, initiate.

Yeah, a little. I don't post on social media (facebook, instagram, etc) so I don't get value through likes, but I do like getting swipes on tinder. No lol. That'd be an awful idea. I don't post on social media or have casual sex, so no. No. Having a boyfriend would be nice, but it isn't the end all be all.

"She's not yours, its just your turn" is exactly what it sounds like. Its something RP men say to each other to basically say: Your girlfriend/wife/plate doesn't belong to you. Its just your turn with her right now. Basically, be ready to move on when she ends up branch swinging to sleep with someone else. Its cynical because they also say this about marriages and its setting things up for failure and disappointment.
/r/RedPillWomen15/02/20 05:53 PM

I'd date someone with a "former manslut/manwhore" past, but not someone who was a pornstar, sex worker, escort, whatever. To each their own, but I'm just not interested in that nor do I blame men for not being interested in women who were formerly escorts.

I don't care if they're the same. I care if he can hold down a job. Above minimum wage is ideal, but its not like he needs to have a 70k salary or something lol.

What kind of women are you going after? If they're a shy type, they might be intimidated.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/20 05:46 AM

Maybe try to compliment them? Kids love attention/compliments. But if you keep up a good attitude then they should follow because they wont view it as a "chore" (my mom avoided using that word which was great). But maybe talk? Ask them questions, etc?

Probably not.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/20 05:55 AM

Ah. Sorry. I slightly misunderstood. I do stand that women don't choose commitment. Any women can get sex easy. Any woman cannot get commitment easy.

The rise in violent porn? Lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/20 05:52 AM

I've stopped saying it because I realized how rude it was. However, I also said it to women. It really translated to stop being a baby, do what you gotta do, etc. Lets say a friend was avoiding breaking up with a gf that they wanted to break up with but they were nervous. I'd probably say man up tbh.

Women who are pretty can attract high-value men who are wealthier.

Women don't choose. Men choose commitment lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/20 03:12 AM

Yeah. Sadly, we will see the normalization of porn and people whose first porn experiences turned into full blown addictions. With the access to the internet kids have, it won't be rare or anything.

Because this majorly effects kids? lol.

I'm not 100% sure. I don't see thinly veiled dick pics often, but there are often photos of men in boxers/briefs/whatever and you can see a bulge.

Agreed.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/20 03:08 AM

They're absolutely free to do it. It would just be nice if they didn't then go to their beta orbiters and feed them false hope in exchange for very tangible benefits. Men need to stop doing that then. It isn't womens job to coddle them. It isn't nice, no, but its also way more of the guys problem than it is the womans.

Do NOT introduce him to TRP. They'll tell him to leave you. Act more feminine. Default decisions to him. Get him to act masculine by acting more feminine. YOU do YOUR part. It doesn't need to be a discussion that just may confuse him - men have also grown up in this hyper feminist world so he may feel flustered at the idea. For example: - Ask him to help you with stuff that you need help with. Particularly, manly stuff. Having trouble opening something? Don't try to sit there and do it for yours…

You know this is wrong - stop trying to defend it. It doesn't contribute to N-count, but it doesn't mean a bitter guy can't send them to your boyfriend or tell your boyfriend that you've shown everyone in the world your boobs. Stop sexting with guys who don't want to date you. You deserve better than this falsified attention.

Enough people gave you advice about the actual breaking up, but afterwards: Delete him off social media. Delete his number. Don't bother him or pester him or get annoyed when he starts dating someone else. Don't post stuff hoping he sees it. Delete him from your life and move on.

Don't worry about stuff you can't change like bone structure. Worry about making the best with what you have. - Go to the gym and make sure you have a healthy, nice shape - If you want to wear makeup, learn how to wear make up. - Grow your hair out and try fun hairstyles. - Fix your eyebrows - Try on different outfits and see what type of clothing looks good on you. Nice pinks, pastels, blues, etc will look cute on anyone. Don't worry about what other girls are doing or if they're cute and femin…

Control your thoughts. Whenever you catch yourself thinking jealous thoughts. Instead, force a nicer thought. Remind yourself that whats going on in her life isn't the same as whats going on in yours. Be happy for her. She's beautiful, good for her. Being jealous doesn't help you.

You're honestly being a little aggressive about something that I didn't even know, and I feel like you knew that I didn't know any of that. Do you have any articles I can read about it? I guess I'm also just curious. With your position, how do you think women would have been able to get equality?
/r/AntiFeminists17/01/20 04:17 AM
2

Yeah, some of its hard for me to even be like "We need feminists for this!" But its obvious that there is inequality sometimes in America that needs to be fixed. However, current feminism is a joke.
/r/AntiFeminists17/01/20 03:39 AM
2

Exactly. I'm still a "feminist" in the sense that I'm a feminist for..actual issues (child marriages, etc), but in America.......yikes.

100%. "Its so hot when you [x]" "I get so turned on when you pull my hair." Be more expressive when he does things that are dominant during sex. Like if hes going hard and thats what you want - make more noise.

Course they can. But do you think more men want someone who is a good homemaker (cooking, cleaning, etc) skills or good leader. I don't mean you or a few of your friends. I mean the overall consensus. I definitely agree that those traits can be good in either gender. I agreed with someone who posted it earlier, but I think homemaking is more valued in women and leadership is more valued in men.

We're talking, specifically, in the context of dating. If you don't like a certain woman/man or what they're doing - move on to the next.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/20 11:38 PM

Ooo very good points. I guess independence (to a point) would be a good thing for either gender. You obviously don't want someone so independent that they don't care about you being there, but independent enough to be able to do things by themselves. Great addition.

Being attractive (both genders) Being thin (women) Being tall (men) Having a good salary (men) Having good homemaking skills like cooking (women) Able to navigate social situations well (both) Mentally stable (both) Considerate of the people around them (both) Ability to lead (men) High value is a tricky thing because it just depends on where you're at. Someone who is sort of a homebody might not find a man/woman who is super social and outgoing to be of "high value" because of that. I just we…

Most men offer to pay. Most men wouldn't call it "I never consented to to it" because that just sounds like a ridiculous way to word it. Most women (including myself) would pay their half and not have a second date. You also cannot have someone who doesn't invite. Someone has to ask.

Nobody talks like that lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/01/20 08:36 PM

This is a little bit of an odd question. Do you think the 20-30 year olds on this subreddit caused it? You'd have to ask old, and some dead, feminists what they expected. I'm 23, its always been like this.

I do not like to ever recommend divorce, but not being on the same page about kids is a deal breaker. You will never be happy and it is not good captain behavior to not talk to you about that.

My SMV is lower than I would like so I'm trying to be realistic. I'm going to give it a shot and try to let it go because my main concern is that like..it just shows a lack of wanting to get the important things done? I know where hes from. Its not a city or anything. It isn't super rural. Like there are busses in some towns near us but not all. Most people here drive. Like there isn't a mile between houses. Its like a normal midwestern area but it isn't a city.

You don't have to find people who feel exactly like you. Just find some lady friends who aren't super feminist. Even moderate feminists. Most of my friends aren't like me (and are in fact feminists) and its no big deal. Check if your school has any of these: religious clubs conservative clubs anti-feminists or just pro-mens rights volunteer groups fitness groups or clubs/groups for more "girly" things. I started to feel better when tbh I realized guys don't actually care about if I'm smart. I used to always try to be SOO impressive and intelligent and come off as smart and it was exhausting. It was freeing when I realized guys couldn't care less about if I'm intelligent or not past the usual topic of what I'm majoring in. That was so nice to come around to. (Obviously I know that guys don't want a total bimbo). Hopefully I'll be able to come around to that! Thank you so much!

Hi! do you hate your generation? No lol. Do you hate that attitudes are changing towards marriage and having children? It isn't ideal, but I also have no interest in controlling what other people do. Its not immoral. You can still get married. You just have to be realistic and accept that someone you marry/date will probably not be a billionaire, 6'4 bachelor who settles down for you and only you (as so many movies would like to make seem possible!) Look for other dudes with kids.

Him being a RP man really has nothing to do with this. Do you follow & believe in the stuff RPW has to say? Cause - this doesn't really sound like directly a RP problem. So how can women claim that they are objectified in porn? I'm not really sure! The only thing I can say about porn is that I think it leads to unrealistic expectations of both women and men. It really is a double edged sword. Again - speaking on straight ppl: For women - they're expecting every man to have a rock hard, 9 incher that can last for hours. for the man to be able to hold them in every which way, always know what to say, and always know what to do. For men - they're expecting all wome…

1: The pay gap: men are paid far less than women in spite of the fact that it is more difficult to find male talent for the roles. There are very few men earning a living as a porn star because he talent is so rare. Leads of movies are also paid more than a random side character. Speaking strictly for the straight porn industry - Women are often the focus. Because the porn industry is shaped around/for straight men. Straight men are interested in women - so that makes their value go up. The tale…

I also find it super offensive. Because when a ton of people are taking every little thing as rape (being cat called, some dude fb messaging them 100 times, regret, etc) it makes ACTUAL rape victims less credible! By trying to help - they're hurting real victims of sexual assault. Women and men who need therapy, who need their rapist to go to jail and who deserve support less noticeable and important.
/r/RedPillWomen06/11/17 01:57 AM

Sexual harassment and rape are also two very different things! If MeToo was about sexual harassment and people making sexually inappropriate comments/being pushy/etc - sure! That has happened to most people & is gross. But most people haven't been raped.

So, is it really wrong that I am more traditional? You're definitely posting in one sub that is going to get one reaction. But no. Probably not. Just a few questions: Are you happy? Are you okay with your dynamic with your fiance? If yes, there is nothing wrong with that.

We discourage people from directly telling their husbands/boyfriends to lead the family. We suggest (strongly) changing your own behavior, deferring to him, etc. Telling him just confuses him and makes him feel like its a test, like something is wrong, etc. You're topping from the bottom. Stop that. I know what you're trying to do, but its making it worse. The recommendation a lot of people give is defer him with small issues. What does he want to eat? You don't tell him. I feel like men also just have extreme views on what a traditional relationship is. What a lot of people think a good "traditional marriage" is: Man controls everything, doesn't listen to his girl at all, is rude, woman spends every second cooking/cleaning/taking care of children, has no voice, What a good "traditional marriage" is like: Man is head of household, listens to what his girl has to say, both are respected, but have different responsibilities that they both view as important

Act better now. Get into therapy yourself. Get your house into order. Get yourself in order. And. Fast. You clearly do not have time for all of this. You need to start working on yourself and showing him you're working on yourself. This therapist though? It likely isn't a big deal. You might have a hard time finding women who are in traditional relationships. Most of my friends in traditional relationships really don't use those words? Any place where things are feminine will attract at least somewhat feminist women. They may not have male led relationships, but you may at least find some women who are "softer" than angry feminists.

I feel like shifting to the feminist style of pursuing men and giving sex in the hopes of gaining commitment. No offense. But what do you want? What are you hoping to get out of this? Advice? To rant? If you want to do that - then do that. Nobody here can stop you. We strongly advise you against it, but we can't stop you. At the end of the day - you live your life. Not us. All of my lesbian friends are in committed relationships save for one. What area do you live in? This could be a location thing. There are less lesbians in areas than straight people most of the time. Obviously if you're in LA, NY, etc this doesn't really apply. But if you're in the middle of Iowa - there might be a lot less lesbians for them to pick through.

RPW has a distaste for sex outside of commitment - not marriage. I think it is a bad idea for people to wait until they're married. But to each their own? A lot of people can be sexually incompatible. Sex is a really important part of relationships. It's a cruel market, but TRP/RPW talks about the age thing so often when there isn't anything to do about it. As opposed to something like weight or hair length. I'd say: keep weight down, take care of your skin, wear nice makeup that enhances your good features, dress nicely, and grow your hair out and you'll probably increase. Obviously there are some things that can't be helped (with out extreme measures) like an ugly nose, etc.

I am married 25f, to a guy with a good mix of alpha and beta qualities. He is a good provider, a hard worker, a great father, good looking, fit, and a leader. He is also a great captain in our marriage. I've watched him rise up through several levels of management with his leadership skills, and he does very well in his field (sales) which requires being outgoing and somewhat aggressive. I know women find him attractive (and the older we get the higher his SMV rises), and he is so committed and …

Work on that then! I REALLY think you're being harsh on yourself. You're really pretty, and I honestly wouldn't have noticed your teeth had you not posted about it in the post. I only addressed it because it seems to be a point of insecurity for you. You have a man - find a point where he is happy and you feel attractive, too. Don't be so harsh on yourself. You're married, have a good man (I'm hoping hes a good man) - all of this seems to be in your head. I feel awful that you're so insecure. Pl…

I don't think you're ugly! You definitely don't look overweight. Are you sure about that overweight thing? Like a doctor told you? The teeth thing is what it is. Maybe avoid wearing bright lipstick or anything that would attract eyes to your mouth. Instead - try sticking with eye makeup. So then that is what stands out. Try a little concealer if you're worried about your under eyes. I think your hair would look really pretty if you brushed it out and straightened it. But yeah. I definitely don't…

Is it really your business? If shes asking your advice - then you should say that you think she should get more serious about looking for a husband. Suggest dating sites that are more 'serious' (aka not tinder), offer to help her find any type of mingling places (speed dating or whatever people do). Ask her if she knows any men at work or anything.

I agree! If theres something going on serious with the child - of course the child should come first. If your child is sick, has an important event (school play, etc) - of course your child should come first. However - declining to go out with your husband just to sit around while your child watches TV? C'mon!

Eight years after that wonderful engagement party in 1989, I walked away from dear, devoted, loyal Matthew, convinced that somewhere out there, a better, more exciting, more fulfilling life awaited me. I feel like for RPW in particular I have extremely liberal views in comparison. I disagree with how the TRP implies (or directly says) that women constantly are on chance of riding the cock carousel, and act like all women sleep around like crazy. Exactly. My hair is extremely long, and it would be a real issue between a potential mate and I if he wanted it short. Because I am so attached to my long hair. So if it is important to her - she should keep it short as the men who are around her will probably be into short hair. So then if she really likes it - at least she won't feel obligated to do something she isn't that big of a fan of.

Some men like it. I wouldn't worry so much about it. As a whole - I think RPW encourages longer hair (Makes you look healthy, I think?). But in several threads it has been discussed that some men like it. Do you like your short hair? Because men who approach you are more likely to like it.

There are people looking for a relationship at any age. You can definitely find one. You'll probably have to decide if you're okay with having someone who is divorced, or has older children.

Why do you even need to talk about it with your friend? You're saying YOU want friends to disagree with HER. Let her decide if she wants that. You're not her mother, or her friend keeper. It sounds like you're immature because you're literally asking us how to pick fights with your friends, and keep them. Grow up. I'm not a feminist, and I hate a lot of the feminist bullshit. But she is allowed to have her opinion. I can't imagine most people on RPW are feminists. If she brings it up, politely s…

Get out. Now. Nobody here is joking when they say this. Leave him or be prepared to: Save up for hospital trips from ODs, Save up for bail when he gets arrested, Buy a safe to keep your money in to keep it away from him - he'll spend it all on meth, Be okay with him hanging out with other meth whores, Be prepared to get a better job, and be able to support the both of you - he'll be too high to care about work. He isn't smoking a joint at the end of a long day with his dad. He is doing meth with…

Every comment on the RP isn't law. Some guys like it shorter. You could find some type of middle ground.

We generally try not to boss men around. This post seems like it'd be much better suited for /r/TheRedPill. I'm not a mod though, so.

I'm very glad that the trans community has hit the mainstream, and that makes you more comfortable. Welcome to RPW! Bare in mind that they really don't keep the lgbt+ community in mind when writing things, but you'll probably be just fine here! I'm a little confused on what your issue is! It sounds like feminist culture is bothering you? Just distance yourself from it, and remember this is about what YOU want. If feminism is about women having choices - then they should shut up & let you make yo…

You could take regular self defense classes? Try that instead. A lot of martial arts classes are, yes, for self defense. But the people in there also sometimes just really enjoy it as a sport. Try a self defense class. It directly relates to what you need.

Hi! This is hard to answer because it is so vague. What do you think are your issues? Are you in a relationship, married? How is that going? We need a little bit more background information to help you out. The best I can really do is redirect you to the sidebar information.

Remember that everything doesn't have to be this giant leap to never having junk food again. Want some chips? Get low fat/sodium/etc chips. Want popcorn? Invest in a popcorn maker so you can limit the amount of salt/butter. Want something sweet? Sugar free jello. Want cookies? Granola bars! Its been helping me at first to just ADD in healthy stuff, and slowly push out the unhealthy stuff.

I can't seem to let go of controlling matters (especially financial) because I don't trust that he can adequately steer the ship. Have you tried? A ton of the RPW success stories are women saying 'I didn't think it'd work out, but then...'. Or are you just assuming that he can't do it? Why did you marry someone you can't trust (and who is unintelligent)? But I highly doubt as an attorney that he can't hold his own. If you're worried - bring him your problem. Don't call him unintelligent, but tel…

Right? Anytime a guy has acted protective over me (either because of physical danger or in general) - I've been 10x more interested in them. Obviously being ~too protective to the crazy point isn't good. Nobody should be running around, screaming at the top of their lungs, throwing hissy fits, etc. There is a line, but protection is good!

Right? A friend of mine is chasing after some guy she met on Tinder. Shes basically his plate, and distraught that he mentioned dating her, but then never brought it up again. I want to scream in her face - "He just wants to make sure you'll keep putting out." I love her, but I feel bad that shes going to end up dating some beta guy.

I have to admit - I was slightly confused by the '20' and then 'too late'. I don't think you're too late, but I think it will be hard. It is a good thing that you're working on yourself, and congrats for that! I haven't been around the RP nearly as long as some of the ladies here. So they'll probably give you better advice than I will. You shouldn't lie about it, though. But you also don't need to go around giving every little detail. When past partners come up - be honest. Say that when you wer…

Welcome to RPW. I was where you're at very recently. I found TRP/RPW, and thought it was insane. I thought everyone here were complete lunatics, traitors, and "misogynists". I also feel a bit isolated because I feel like my friends would crucify me if I even hinted I was struggling with this. You can definitely PM me at any time if you'd like to chat. I guess what I want to do is ask how some of you have coped with, “taking the pill.” I still feel like I’m some sort of traitor for the way my thi…

I'm not going to. Reading everyones replies has been super helpful. I'd literally get nothing out of it aside from a decreased sexual market value, risk of pregnancy/std, etc. For what? 10 minutes?

I made a post two weeks ago right here I mentioned how I don't put a lot of effort into my looks, etc, etc. I've made an effort to dress up more, be nicer, stfu rather than being bitchy, put a little bit makeup on, etc. I've completely felt myself sky rocket. I'm still working on losing weight, but I already feel a little bit better about myself. I think it just shows that even a little bit of maintenance on yourself can make yourself feel (and look) 10x better.

It seems like a big red flag also that the men will have to deal with another man (the babies father - if involved) in their lives. So it'll be difficult because there are a lot of moving parts, but it doesn't make it impossible.

If he is a beta & unable to lead - it may not be a good idea. Isn't hypergamy jumping ship to date another man? It doesn't sound like she did that. I agree that the situation sucks, but it doesn't sound like that is an option to her.

Lots of people manage to have healthy, happy lives living with mental illness. As /u/iwpoe said - no one talks about happy parts of their bipolar marriage. So just go into having children and things with a little extra caution, and try to be understand when he may not always be able to lead. As long as he is taking his medication & hopefully in therapy - he should be able to lead. If he isn't on his medication, etc - he may not be able to lead. Hi! Unfortunately, it will lower your SMV. It doesn't mean your chances are ruined to have a happy, RP relationship! I would try to improve your SMV in other ways, however. Some of the examples on how to do this (from the FAQ) are: start working out, eat healthy, learn to cook, grow out your hair, dress nicely, have a positive attitude, work in improvement in your weak areas, etc. Men who already have children, are divorced, etc will likely be more open to dating a single mother. Be upfront abou…

Do you mean he goes from BP to RP during the course of our relationship? Or he grew up BP, and became RP before we started dating? My ideal would be dating someone who grew up BP, but was RP at the time of us dating. Just so we both could know, and understand different struggles.

You could say something simple. One day after you two finish talking - try saying something like "Let me know if you'd like to hang out sometime."

There is a chance it could go badly either way. On one end, you could tell her & show her the proof. She could still hate you because of it. Sometimes women just do that. They'll get mad at you even though he was cheating, and it was clear you didn't reply or were interested. On another end, she could find out herself (or from someone else). She could think that you guys did end up having sex, and hate you because she thinks that you were a bad friend (even if you guys barely know each other) or…

I'm someone who has a hard time maintaining eye contact with anyone. I tend to look away, or look at another part of their face. A lot of people read this as being shy, or anxious. A few people thought I was being rude, but that was more in teacher-student type of situations. So people might just read it as being super confident, but I'm not sure. He might just think you're a bit awkward. I'm not sure about the eye contact thing. I don't see an issue with it as long as you're not being creepy. J…

Yeah. Looking back I definitely know Return of Kings is just very clickbait-y, and honestly just seems like a whole lot of trolling.
