I'm glad I took a break and came back to this great post. This sub was adding a bit to my anxiety so I needed some time away. Today I was just curious to see what I've missed and the timing couldn't have been better. Thank you for this!

The OP updated that she dumped this scrote! 👏

That was the advice a medical professional gave her. ETA: FWIW the OP also said she takes the sugar pills to get her "period" like 2-3 times a year because "it feels weird not to have one." ETA2: direct quote I go from a pretty functional person to an absolute DISASTER in the few days before my period and then the entire time throughout. It goes from 0-100 pretty fast, and I become su*cidal and somehow can't comprehend that it's actually just because of my period, and I won't feel like this in a…

I omitted a section of the post where she explained speaking with her doctor about how her periods affect her mental health. The doctor advised her to skip the sugar pills so she doesn't menstruate at all. I didn't include it to keep the emphasis on her bf disregarding her decision to not have a period (and the mental health problems that come with it) because of his kInK.

I noticed that too. Like he was getting upset that she wasn't acting like she was in pain. Would her curled up into a ball of pain make him feel better? Smh.

It also sends the message that males have a chance with highly attractive women while putting exactly zero effort into their own physical appearance.

Thanks for the clarification. That makes a lot ot sense. I'm glad you came out on the other side of that tough journey. I think tough love has its place in certain situations but more people should be open to it.

Agreed. Men who scrutinize sexual history like that are NVM anyway. Slut-shame you for sending nudes but then also feel entitled to ask for nudes in the same breath.

I genuinely cannot comprehend being okay with knowing your suffering, pain, blood, tears and screaming is on the internet giving men sexual pleasure. How can you live with yourself. How. THIS. I looked up this woman and boy howdy, she's lost respect for herself AND taught her kids to do the same years ago. I try to sympathize with all women, pickmes and otherwise, but I can't with this one. I can't. She KNOWS what she's doing and doesn't care. We say that all the time about men but it can be sai…

I vote we wage a public outcry against OnlyFans to ban this woman and all live births (🤢) from the platform. There is nothing gray about children being used for pornographic content. This is CP content plain and simple. God, I hate this planet. Edit: I read the article. This segment boils my blood: Bellucci, who has experienced her fair share of trolling in the past, does harbor some concerns about putting her newborn into the spotlight. Once the baby has arrived, Bellucci intends to mostly keep…

all the young women and men in the music industry media spotlight, are controlled and marketed by their record labels, which are owned by old men. They make very very few decisions themselves. This is something more people need to understand. The people we see on stage, in magazines, film, photos, etc are PRODUCTS of the industry. And what's a product that sells quick and for big bucks? Sex, of course. Coming from a communication background, I noticed that she (read: her producers/bosses) is try…

Like a car crash, I can't look away from this comment. I read it over and over and each time my heart breaks for these children. I wish to start a family one day but I'm terrified of porn getting its grubby hands on my future children.

To add to this (and sorry I wanted to comment directly to who you're responding to but their comment got removed): I think the "YOU'RE sexualizing her" take missed a key detail: Billie Eilish was pressured into sexualizing herself. Hollywood is notorious for exploiting its female stars. So it might be more accurate to say that Billie Eilish is just another cog in the Hollywood machine. If you wanna stay in this industry, wear this totally not lingerie outfit on stage and totally not simulate sex…

Was thinking the same. Just report the comments for breaking the sub rules. Nothing that they're saying is benefiting to women.

Read the sub rules and drop the "both sides" approach. We're not here to pity the plight of pOoR mEn just because they decided to go a lifetime never learning how to boil water. All they had to do was say "Honey, when's dinner?" and food appeared. Has nothing to do with being elderly. Plenty of elderly women (think aunties, abuletitas, etc) can prepare meals just fine. Men get coddled by their pickme moms then enter the adult world expecting their partners to do the same. This sub is help women …

This sub does not seek to gaslight women (who have been exploited and manipulated by mostly men) by arguing “both sides”. Not to mention it's against the sub rules.

You'd be right as he said somewhere in the comments he consulted divorce attorneys that advised exactly that.

Interesting how he chose language to make it seem like he was providing his wife with this lavish lifestyle where she didn't have lift a finger. Yet he conveniently omits in the OP that they cut out the maid and nanny years ago. She picked up all the domestic labor AND kept herself in shape for her NV husband, but he's the victim here 🤡

He's pretty much made up his mind to stick to this narrative where his wife is somehow the bad guy. I think he really was just expecting everyone to agree with him and validate his experience as "an abuse victim tolerating abuse" 🙄🤢

Because at the time he could afford it and even says himself that he didn't mind her staying home since he was making a lot of money. If what he wanted was a dual-income household, he should have brought that up on day one, not 20 years later. In fact, it's odd they didn't discuss finances and who would be the provider (if not both) before they had kids. That's a basic conversation any couple looking to marry/start a family should have. Yet he admits to not once having that conversation even aft…

He's really blind to what he has! I do hope she finds herself a HVM though that's optional. She can easily live out the rest of her life in peace as she deserves.

Women’s labor is so invisible. Exactly what I was thinking! Did he think the house cleaned itself? Dinner made itself? The kids raised themselves? Sure he claims they had a maid and nanny too but I doubt they were there 24/7 for the last ~20 years.

his wife who has been seemingly excelling in her SAHM domain. She must be if even his male friends comment how she's a good mom and looks good (at 55)! She's obviously pulling her own weight as a spouse and parent. It's too bad her NVM husband waited 20 years to realize he's too pathetic for her.

I checked his profile and saw he posted the same thing to another sub but including the ages. She's 55 and he's 59. So he's ok with the idea of sending his 55 year old wife to work as a cashier...for the principle? It's unclear whether he's thinking of divorce (probably is) but I hope she gets half so she can live her best life without this NVM dragging her down.

The way I see FDS is as a space to share specific issues that women face in relation to men (specifically NVM/LVM and the adundance of them in society) and how to avoid them, not a space to discuss issues that men, even marginalized men, face. Are the experiences of women and marginalized men similar? Sure, but I doubt anyone here wants to have "an intelligent conversation" about it when there's literally the rest of Reddit to talk about men's issues, marginalized or otherwise. Edit: Actually so…

This is why I'm an advocate for being selfish. It's depicted as a largely negative trait but there are times when it's warranted. Manipulators and abusers count on people to feel bad for daring not to think of them every second of their lives. Selfishness--healthy selfishness--means you're entitled to make yourself a priority every time. It's harder to feel guilt when someone blantantly disregards me and my needs yet claim they're not.

I say the cheating wasn't awful because he was shitfaced drunk and it was a one time thing Please PLEASE stop trying to minimize the cheating. It doesn't matter how he did it. If anything, the reason makes it worse. If drinking leads to this bad of a decision, he shouldn't have been drinking. You can feel when you're going too far and cut yourself off before it gets to that point. Clearly, he didn't do that. So not only is he a cheater but he's irresponsible with alcohol. Trying to frame it as s…

Oh, yes of course! Because women, like men, allow sex to dictate their lives. A single woman having a large dog isn't so she feels safe alone in her home or when out walking, noooo! It's totally for sex!🤦

I watched this movie a few years ago and I can't for the life of me remember this "cute schoolgirl." I remember the action and (spoilers) the big dude that was BADASS fighting off the zombies to protect his pregnant wife. I guess in a few years those LVM will say all they remember is the schoolgirl and nothing about the movie itself 🤦 It's like they're not evolved enough to even watch entertainment properly. Idk how that's possible but LVM find a way.

This is obviously gross and full of bs, but did anyone else notice that even if she says "code red" to stop, it's worded so they would stop if her partner thinks she "can't handle the situation" instead of stopping immediately?

I think she was just sharing her experiences, which some women happen to relate to. I certainly do. Society has a lot unspoken, and often conflicting, "rules" for women on how to look beautiful or sexy. For example, to be considered beautiful you need to wear makeup but at the same time you need to look natural. You must look like a supermodel but also have big boobs or a big butt but also they can't look fake or plastic...etc, etc. Showing skin is another one of those "rules" where if you want …
