One word: Masks. Women sadly seem to love wearing them.

Disagree, here's why. Just because 50% of marriages don't end in divorce, that doesn't mean 50% are successful by any measurement. Conservatively, of the 50% who stay together, 80% of those are not doing good at all- people are miserable, needs not getting met. Trust me, it's HARD to get divorced. Most people don't WANT to get divorced, but it becomes that unbearable that they run out of options. There's a big difference between long term committed relationships and marriage itself. We have to l…

Difference you're not understanding is, while everyone has insecurities, I'm talking about insecure women. Women who are not comfortable in their own skin are not attractive to me. A secure woman can still have insecurities, and that's fine. I was never making the point that there is anyone out there who has 0 insecurities, so it seems we're talking past each other.

Right. I see that as different. Fear in a relationship has never worked for me. If she's living in fear, the love disappears, and the whole thing is doomed. If you're just looking to bang, fine, but that's not interesting to me.

Sorry I don't like insecure/desperate women, big turn off for me. It's a personal preference.

I didn't break any of the rules. I stated a preference that was very much related to the topic and to me worthy of discussing. But I'll go elsewhere for that, thanks.

More than half of my friends in my early 20s either didn't want kids or said they would never have them. All of them now have kids. I'm much older than a Gen Z. This is not a generational thing it's an age thing.

How did it it go with everyone wearing masks these days and you can't even tell what they look like?

Probably the majority of women settle these days. Many don't take relationships seriously in their 20s, then want a baby and if they're 35 and single they start to panic and accept a lot of red flags that they would have rejected 10 years earlier in a long term potential mate.

The Wall is location-dependent. The book says women hit the wall in early 30s. Not the case in California for most. Many hot 35-40 yo's getting endless attention from men. Wall there is more like 40-45. Of course there are plenty who don't take care of themselves and hit it earlier, but there's no one age range that can be qualified as The Wall universally.

False analogy. Marriages may last longer than GF/BF relationships. But that doesn't make them better. And it could be because marriages are MUCH harder to get out of than GF/BF.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/19 03:17 PM
2

Other way around. Marriage often dooms long term relationships. The marriages that survive AND are healthy relationships are in the minority. Contracts and rings and in laws don't make relationships better, contrary to traditionalism.

Sensationalism sells. Most people likely still think the Duke Lacrosse team gang raped some girl, but it turns out, she fabricated the entire story. But the media made it seem like they were all guilty and the real truth didn't come out until years later.

You're right about the listening part. Definitely not all women are the same when it comes to sex! But the whole idea of "good in bed" or "a good kisser" is a misnomer. Good to one person is terrible to the next. I once was dating a girl who I liked, but really didn't like her way of kissing. I told her what I liked and didn't like with kissing. She was offended, and said that every guy she's been with before me really enjoyed her way of kissing. To me, it was a turn off. To other men, she was a…

We need to stop recognizing marriage as some kind of achievement. That's the problem. Putting rings on fingers and signing documents means nothing. Been together 2 years? That's a small accomplishment. 10 years? Let's celebrate that. But given that 50% of marriages end in divorce, and many of the rest are dysfunctional and should have ended a long time ago, we need to drop this traditional idea that "together forever" is even something that should be strived for.

Of course chemistry exists, but there are a couple of things to say here: Chemistry does not ALWAYS happen right away. I remember a date I had, where we generally had a good time, shared some laughs, and at the end I was about 50/50 in terms of wanting to see her again. But after the second and third date, there was serious chemistry, and we dated for about 5 months. Date #1 was not a good indicator, as we were both a bit introverted and took a little more time to open up. Chemistry happening ri…

Take it easy bro. I said nothing about fucking. I can guarnfuckintee you that there are hoards of dudes wanting to get into a relationship with a good looking 36yo, she would have no problem finding a long term BF or husband.

The wall is also region-specific. You can't generalize like that. Where I live in CA, women as old as 36 can still get zillions of dates and have men banging down their door by just opening a Tinder account. Sure they may get slightly less suitors than a 25yo, but definitely no shortage of men for them. Meanwhile, a 30yo woman in Iowa would likely be considered over the hill and have a tough time finding dates. Same goes for different countries. In some countries, a 26yo single woman is terrifie…

The so-called wall is also regional. In the midwest, 26 and single for a woman is very rare, you are already over the hill. In California, a hot 35 year old as almost as much power with men as a hot mid-20s woman, especially online. But 35 in rural Iowa, you might as well be dead if you're not a mom of 2 or 3 by that point.

Well, if you see what goes on on Tinder or any online dating sites, it kind of supports the TRP theory that men are horny dogs and will go for anyone that has a pulse and a vagina. But this of course is a generalization, plenty of men have tastes and preferences and won't swipe right on anyone that comes along. So NAMALT. What irritates me about TRP is that the assumption of "getting sex" is the prize we should be after. Pump and dump, spinning plates, AWALT, it's all about just the act of havin…

IG is so fake. Most of the IG "Models" with hundreds of thousands of fans, are empty and have mental problems. I once had a female friend who was terrified to be with a man, like couldn't even hug, because of some childhood trauma. Yet, she had so many "artistic" shots of her in a bikini, with the usual throngs of horny dude likes. She somehow got off on the attention but was not having sex, or kissing, or even hugging anyone out of tremendous fear. I recommend refocusing on other women and lett…

Science shows that men think about sex far more often than women do. I'd say that means they have a lower sex drive. I don't know why this is even argued when you look at behaviors of the two sexes.

Most women (and men) suffer from low self esteem, so the games "work" on them. Both sexes play games to try to attract a partner, and they wind up with damaged people who think lowly of themselves. To attract a healthy partner, it's best not to play any games and just act how you want to act. Naturally, a healthy dude is not going to over-text a woman, so there's no need to "wait to return texts".

Bad advice from women on Reddit: find a man that treats you as an equal. I don't understand what's wrong with this. You're saying you want to be submissive and led around by a man? I had a GF like this once so I took the "leader" role, after a few months she complained that she "never" had a say in what we did, even though I would ask her....I'd rather assume we're equals, much easier.

I don't mind paying on a first date, doesn't bother me. But what has to die out is this idea that the man does EVERYTHING and the women should just sit back and let him "lead", which usually means him making all the decisions and her complaining about it later. We're expected to: pay, decide where we're going, open every door for her, initiate the first kiss, initiate sex, drive...the list goes on and on. I disagree with Peterson being pro-corporal punishment. A weak man uses violence as a form of discipline. There are far better ways to teach lessons than using your hand to swat a small human. This is a huge flaw in Peterson's philosophy and why I can't get behind what he says overall.

Wall age is relative. For example, in Asia, anything over age 27 is washed up and discarded. In the US, it depends on where you are. In the midwest, many get married by 21, so being single in a lot of places past 21 is a curse, and by 26 you are "post wall". But in California, the wall isn't until late 30s. Go on any dating site or app. If a woman is at least semi-attractive, she will be bombarded by dudes, at any age up until about 40. I know many early and even mid-30s women that think the wor…

Where did I say anything about "being needed"? Fulfillment is not going to be found by banging random drunk sluts all your life, there's more to life than that.
/r/TheRedPill17/04/18 04:09 PM

Agreed. I'm not sure what "family-oriented" means but funny to see these guys downvote your logical points. Getting laid is easy. Go to a bar, wait until 12 or 1 am and find a drunk girl to take home. Oh boy, I got laid, look at me AWALT pump & dump, I'm such an alpha! Where's the fulfillment though? It's empty and causes more problems than it's worth doing. Holding out and finding the right woman is HARD, but worth doing.

I used to work as a loan officer, calling families across America. 9 out of 10 households, the woman runs the finances and makes the decisions. Not sure what that says exactly but certainly, in the US, men do NOT make the decisions.

I don't know why this would be such a shock and surprise to anyone. They behave differently in different situations with different men. Are you not doing the same with women? One you want a one night fling with, another you want something short term, and another you want more long term. In each case you will act differently. Why they're trying to lie about it is because society says they're sluts if they give it up on the first date. Not justifying this, but it's pretty obvious.

I know I'll get downvoted to hell for saying this, but this post doesn't resonate with me. If you can't use logic with someone, it's a strained relationship, at least in my experience. I don't see how this is possible. Most 28 year old females get at least dozens of emails a day on dating sites, even the fat ones. It isn't until around 36 or 37 that they have to be more proactive and actually take responsibility for their dating life. This sounds like a made up story to me as it goes against reality.

This in no way gets to the cause of being fat. Fat women are also people. They have issues. Most likely had a bad childhood and food is their drug. They also get REWARDED by being unattractive- they don't have to strive for anything great, pressure is off. This is sad. They need help, but shunning them doesn't make them change their ways. Can't believe you sold her out like that on Reddit! Anyway, I see your point. It's not a low genetic value at all. It's low self esteem, usually brought on by a bad childhood.

Disagree. Empathy is huge for both sexes. Men may not admit this but it's scientifically proven. Not sure your 95/5 is accurate, but in any event, there is SOME problem solving that she wants to have happen, it's just that most guys jump right to that with giving 0 empathy which will never work.
/r/TheRedPill23/09/15 08:15 PM
1

This goes back to what I said. Give her empathy first. Then help her with the problem. If it's not actually a problem, yes you can stay in empathy...but if this is her pattern, it's not a "woman thing" it's simply annoying and needs to be dealt with.
/r/TheRedPill23/09/15 08:00 PM

I and many other men have found this to be false, it is almost entirely about empathy. for many women a solution to the problem does not even occur to them, the problem itself serves as a way to bond. Disagree on this point. These are actual problems I'm talking about. What to do about a difficult coworker, how to ask for a raise, when she should quit her job, how to deal with her mom's demands, etc. If they are made up problems, she is likely psychotic, time to next her.
/r/TheRedPill23/09/15 02:02 PM

"Don't be afraid of WonderTits™ one-word responses." I say, don't reward that behavior. If you are writing in sentences and she is sending back one word, sure she is interested but she will be a huge pain in the butt and probably not worth dating. If this happens, NEXT her.

So we're basically all fucked? I disagree. I think way too much emphasis is on how "women" are and how "men" are. Like the "Men Are From Mars" BS book, we're better off simply trying to understand each other. Women actually do want solutions to their problems. They just want empathy first. Men OR women can give that to them.

Marriage is never the right decision. You can't put handcuffs on "together forever", it's trying to trap a feeling by signing a contract with the government. Impossible.

Yes but this isn't limited to women. Men do this in other ways, like risk sex without a condom on a drunken night picking up a loose chick at a bar. "She said she didn't have anything" and "She said she was on the pill". Just dumb shit that gets them in trouble. Both sexes do it.
/r/TheRedPill29/07/15 01:10 PM

Ahh but most settle and go through life thinking "this is the best I can do" and the notion of "getting someone better" doesn't even cross their minds because of their low self esteem.

But it definitely doesn't make their life better. This is an illusion. It's like a shot of heroin. I'm sure it feels GREAT at first. But ultimately it will take down your life. A woman sleeps around with a bunch of alphas in her 20s and doesn't take seriously the fact that she wants a baby. Instead at 33 she's got an STD and a past she's embarrassed about, and has to settle. Not better.

The AWALT theory discounts the obese ugly woman who really can't be like that, i.e. branch swing, hypergamy, slut it up, etc., as they have no choice. Does she have the potential to be like that? Of course. But it's flat out in all reality not the case. "Potential" doesn't mean much, even if 99.99% of women are that way, it's still not ALL. We can say Most and be much more accurate. I know we'd all love to live in a world of connections, but that's just a bull-shit word that women use to explain away their sexuality. So there are no connections? You're getting caught up in your lofty, human ideals and seeking to entangle cold reality with a dab of heartfelt, hopeful fiction. So women don't, in reality, have the ability to empathize?

Marriage is awesome. You just need the right girl and as a man have the right attitude. No way. Marriage is BS and is trying to sign a contract to lock in "happily ever after" or "together forever". Impossible and doesn't exist. And yes I was married for 7 years, learned a lot. Women are women, they all want the same thing and will do things to get their what they want. Just curious (as a guy in his 40s also), what kinds of girls do you date? I prefer early 30s, but it sounds like you would describe that as "post-wall". I'm wondering if the wall becomes less significant as you get older yourself. It does for me. Pre-wall almost always means even more drama and less maturity.

"When you display signs of weakness, even if something was out of your control, she can't get over the feeling that it's unattractive to her." This is what ultimately is so frustrating. There is no respect for reality in these situations. If she perceives something, then it's automatically true, even when it flat out isn't. My ex was all over me for this incident where she said that I wasn't "being the man" and taking care of it. I broke a TV set and ordered a new one off Ebay, it took like 4 we…

That's a bullshit loaded statistic though. Many people are religious and don't have sex before marriage because they fear going to hell. Then they stay in that marriage no matter how horrid, because of this fear. This stat only shows that marriage is a horrible idea, not that it's bad to have many relationships.

Yes count matters. However, what matters much more is the blood tests. The point is, if you're going to fuck without protection, you better not just be going by what she says is her "count", but actually get her to take a blood test for all stds. This can prevent a lot of problems now and later.

There's a tendency here to have 1 experience with a woman and then claim "ALL!" or "EVERY!" woman does this/acts like this, whatever. It's annoying and not helpful to anyone.

I forget which is right or left, I haven't done online dating in a while. It all depends on what you're looking for. Hookup? Sure, you will find women out there looking for shirtless guys to fuck. LTR or STR? Different category, many won't date these guys....and yes it's what they are DOING that I'm referring to.

Realistically speaking, if a man is not married by 35 his chance of getting married becomes extremely unlikely, so low that it's statistically insignificant. "Chance" of getting married? Why in the world would you WANT to get married? I guess in that case his chances of living a happy life go up at 35 too if he manages to stay unmarried. Men's sex drives collapse in their 30s. Bullshit. How old are you? I'm in my 40s and, while I'm not needing to jerk off 3 times a day like at 19, my sex drive i…

You'd have to fuck a lot of them to find 3 though. So you'd be a slut for a while. Funny how I get downvoted for pointing out this contradiction. I'm fully aware that women can get laid with almost no effort and it takes a lot of effort for guys, but we can't go blaming them for this, they were handed this situation, and it seems a lot of guys are saying they should be virgins.

Actually filtering works quite well. I don't put up with bullshit. Yes this eliminates a good number of sexual prospects, but unlike many around here I don't value sex itself all that highly, and find that I am much happier when I hold out for quality vs going for quantity. Everyone has their thing though, if you like lots of sex with different women, then play the shit test games and enjoy pussy galore.
/r/TheRedPill20/07/15 10:42 AM

I don't think so. It's idiotic. Expecting you to decide, then complain about your decision. That's very childish and a turnoff. I'm not saying ALL women I've been with do this, but certainly many do. It's a learned behavior, not natural, and not something I would put up with- shit test or not.

You obviously were just not that into her. Her rationale will be something like "I guess he was too weak to make a move" or something. If you weren't wanting sex, I applaud you for doing what you wanted to do. If you were wanting sex and walked away "because you felt like it", I don't see the point.

Ok what should she say? I don't get the obsession with numbers, and I'm a guy with a relatively low count. Women can have sex so much more easily then men so here high count has a completely different meaning than a man's count. But if you suddenly were given the ability to have sex at any time with nearly every single woman you come across, what would you do? Take advantage, or just repress your urges?

This one is annoying: ""[I want] for you tell me about your plans with neither head nor tail. I want to be surprised, for you to make me say: Take your passport; we're leaving."" What's bullshit? Nothing "works for everybody". You have to find what works for you. For me, pursuing doesn't work because it's ineffective. Not saying I'm god's gift or something but there are many ways you can get them chasing you after the initial approach.

Always being the one to text first, contacting her often, asking her out often, "not taking no for an answer", buying her stuff, scarcity mentality.
/r/TheRedPill19/07/15 07:53 AM

Of course you need to approach. Not saying you should just say nothing and let them come to you. But after that, after you get the number, set it up so that they are pursuing. There are entire courses on this, not going to post it all here, but it's much better/easier than trying to "pursue" a bunch of girls.

Pursuing is a waste of time. This is scarcity mentality. The idea is to have a lot of girls that you're texting. Watch what happens when you have abundance. There is no need to pursue. Act natural and they will know you have options, and will pursue you.

I do believe there is nothing good about marriage besides maybe a good party when you wed. You can't put a contract on together forever, why would you try? Secondly, why do you need the government to approve of your relationship? Thirdly, the statistics aren't pretty. Marriage is for fools, BP or not. I would say marriage is BP, because it's intention is "together forever", which is BS, and, you're asking the government permission to be with someone, which is BP BS stuff. You need to learn, "alone forever" and not being married are NOT the same thing.

The government currently oppresses you, steals from you, and forces you around at gunpoint, all legally. All I'm saying is take these thugs out of the equation, I'll take my chances with businesses. Disagree. "Together forever" and "Happily ever after" are what people think when they are getting married. These are myths and fallacies, which is why most marriages are unsuccessful. You can't control people, men or women. You can't predict how someone will be in 5 or 10 years, let alone a lifetime.

Happens all the time in the military. Men cheat, women cheat, it's a horrible idea to get married, an even more horrible idea to chose a career in the military, and just sheer stupidity to think that women, or men, will be "faithful" when they're apart for months at a time with no contact.
/r/TheRedPill23/06/15 07:58 PM

But you still don't need a certifcate from the government to say you are good to go to have kids. And, if you look at the numbers (50% divorce rate, many more unhappy marriages), is it really true that marriage is good for children? I'm highly skeptical of this claim.

The climate isn't changing around marriage. You simply cannot sign a contract on a feeling and think it's going to last "forever". Marriage is for fools no matter how it is done. It's a myth and a fallacy that legal contracts have anything to do with love or successful relationships.

I have no doubt there are a lot of women turned on by physical pain. I'm simply not interested. That's my point, I've been with girls like that and it's not interesting to me. Like I said, most were physically abused and are reliving their trauma. Sure it "works" for them, but they are damaged goods. Why should I force myself to enjoy that and participate when there are healthier women out there that don't need physical pain to get off?
/r/TheRedPill20/06/15 04:23 PM

Different argument. He said he slapped this girl around. I've been with plenty of women that don't want to be slapped around. This is a psychological issue. Being physical and being abusive (even if she asks) are two different things. I've had women that want physical abuse and it's a turnoff. I've also had (most) that want to be dominated, but not in a painful way. Huge difference.

It's not being a nice guy vs. total asshole. Yes, asshole game "works", it's just not that fulfilling. You don't need to go opposite and become all nice and beta. There's a happy middle that works much better than both. If you just want sex, that's pretty easy. I'm talking about actual fulfilling relationships that include great sex. You can have one or many of those at a time and not be "nice".
/r/TheRedPill20/06/15 04:18 PM

That's what I'm saying but many guys don't want to hear that. They think in black and white. That's destructive thinking. "He must be blue pill/beta! Fuck that! Treat bitches like shit and they will flock and you'll get many plates!" You're right, curiosity is like an aprhodisiac to me. :)

Your dismissiveness is just a defense. I'm not arguing, just saying, why anyone wants to be physically abused is 100% due to their childhood. I prefer not to contribute to the insanity. You need to fight for what you believe in and try to make the world better (including not accepting lame things like "shit tests" as "just how it is"), as well as maximize your happiness levels given the current sitation (in the case of relationships, some of the RP truths).

Most of that is great. The trouble I have with "not looking for the ideal" is that, it's easy to do what a lot of guys then do- settle. Yes, there is no ideal woman or ideal situation. But it's very easy to accept less than you can get, and tell yourself you are "happy" in your situation, instead of striving for a better one, or working to improve in general.

If you happen to be white in Asia, it's akin to being a hot 9 or 10 female in the US...not that you're necessarily white, but in my experience, when I traveled through Asia a couple years ago, I simply changed the profile city to where I was and was getting several emails a day from decent looking prospects, many much younger than me.

Nice. However, I always think of low hanging fruit as fat chicks. Also, this doesn't take into account the variety of goals people have. I, for example, have no interest in ONSs, but would have interest in getting my relationship goals met with the path of least resistance.

Fucking awesome! I love turning the tables, nice work. Another thing I have done is simply invite them out instead of asking them out. I.e. "Come out with me on Thursday!" Let's say she says "Sorry! I have a boyfriend." Then I'll say something like: "Ok! Well, the offer still stands!" And leave it at that. Sometimes, they come back later after their "boyfriend" relationship fails them.

Are you kidding? Most of these families you speak of are disasters, and it's not "going well". I watched this documentary about this village in Guatemala. This early-20s couple was on their 4th kid already. There was no thought going into it, they simply were convinced that that's how you get help on the farm and survive- have more kids. That kind of logic is insane, but it's how much of the world thinks. People that actually think about having kids, and WHY they want them or don't want them are…

Human greed and shortsightedness are exactly the reason why government doesn't work. Government is run by people with greed and shortsightedness, thus, market favortism or corporatism exists.

You have not answered my question. How does it happen? You are giving me theories. The state exists everywhere. It just so happens that when there is less state involvement, there are fewer monopolies. See: The tech industry.

You are saying that without government, businesses would force people to buy their shit? How would they do this? So like Target would have cars that roll up to your house, and have armed guards that come inside and get you and force you to shop at their store? Please help me understand how businesses can have their own armies to force people to buy things.

They can, because the state grants them monopolies. Without the state, monopolies are far more difficult to form, simply because of competition. When there's choice, people vote with their dollars. The best products and services rise to the top, no state involvement needed.

I personally think it is sound to think that the state and big business (energy companies, defense companies, banks) are two parts of the same coin. Yep, totally agree. Without the government as a tool, these companies have far less power over the people. The government allows these business to have any power over us. Haha, thanks for backing me up! In this area, there are LOADS of smoking hot women in their late 30s. I'm not saying it's the perfect age group, but...women generally do not fall apart after 30 year (most aren't thinking of marriage until 29 or 30 anyway).

Actually that's a good analogy. Junk mail gets the attention of about .000001%. Yes you can throw up just about any picture and get that kind of attention on a dating site. I suggest you check out mens' profiles, you will see that most are putting up the iphone in mirror pics...you're trying to say that ALL these guys are having success online? No chance, most are floundering, the key to online dating is originality.
/r/TheRedPill08/06/15 07:40 PM

Asian girls are the easiest online if you're white, so that's not saying it was the abs. Tall chicks don't get hit on as much IRL so they are more likely to do online dating.

Agree with most of that but in my experience, post wall is typically late 30s. I could be jaded being that I spend most of my time in coastal southern California, where a high number of women stay in top shape into their 40s even.

Guess you haven't explored the various dating sites. Pretty big differences in quality from POF to OKC to Tinder. But this varies by region, in my region POF is utter crap. You NEED pics to show off your body (if you're in shape), but the mirror with iphone shirtless is overdone and pretty cheesy.
/r/TheRedPill08/06/15 04:31 PM
-17

Ok....kinda funny, but seriously? If you want to have sex with the horseshit quality that hangs out on POF, it's doubtful you value yourself very highly. Doubtful the shirtless mirror pics get many girls wet, except maybe the totally vapid, STD-ridden, tatted up nightmares.

Marriage 1.0, marriage 2.0, marriage 3.0....none of them are relevant. Trying to put a contract on "together forever" simply doesn't work. There was no reason to get married 100 years ago because of the together forever fallacy. There is no reason to get married now because of that and all the other things pointed out here and elsewhere. Marriage is a failure of an institution. Just because divorce rates used to be lower doesn't mean it was more successful. There were just more unhappy marriages…

There are lots of industries trying to keep marriage's legitimacy going. The wedding industry is another. Marriage is and was a horrible idea that needs to die. Neither women nor men benefit from marriage. Sure, women can divorce rape men, but they are not happy. Marriage is for fools on both sides.

Well, it's kind of like a conspiracy. You don't outright tell her you know what's going on. But you make it clear in other ways. She will know that you know what she's up to. No need to be harsh, subtlety is the key here. You're simply not going along with it. No need to have emotions surrounding it, you just act in honesty, and it works out. If she flips out over this, then you have your answer, you would never want to be with her anyway.

Uh...we don't choose these so-called leaders now. Your vote doesn't count and never has. Elections in the US are a joke. No, there will not always be a state. People have a need for autonomy and one day it will be realized. Who rules over the state? People in government operate in a world of anarchy. Why do you think these government bureaucrats are fit to rule over you? Are you so incapable of directing your own life that you need strangers to force you around?

Nobody is idolizing anything. Anarchy simply means "no ruler"- not chaos. Red pill does not mean needing to have some "elected" bureaucrat point your life in the direction they want it to go. Dude, cops don't stop crimes, almost never happens. People are far more on guard when cops are present than when they are not. Cops don't protect people, they simply shake them down. Government encourages the very things you are afraid of.

Ridiculous comparison. We're not and have never been a tribal society like Somalia. Exactly. It's mind boggling as to how backwards it is. Perfect example is a cop who can drive 95 mph to chase down a guy who's "breaking the law" driving 75. When you give one group of people in society the monopoly on force, things tend to go a bit haywire as they are now.

Divorce rates don't mean much, other than the fact that marriage doesn't work AT ALL. Some places, it's illegal to get divorced, so the rates are low. Other places it's just VERY taboo. But overall, even where divorce rates are low, there are still a good majority of couples who stay together unhappily for a variety of reasons, which is much worse than getting divorced.

Good points all around. I don't think the movie was "RP" or feminist. My biggest problem was that Ava was dumb to leave the guy at the house, he could have helped her get battery power, which was obviously going to run out while she was wandering around the world. She did have use for the beta, this is where the story is a little off to me.
/r/TheRedPill26/05/15 04:24 AM

Haha. Well, you haven't convinced me. I say let them be sluts. It's all due to their childhood anyway. If these girls don't get psychological help, there's almost no chance they will change their behavior because it all goes back to their daddy leaving them or parental abuse, which you can't talk someone out of, they simply need to work on their issues.
/r/TheRedPill25/05/15 08:25 PM

Nope, still here, last time I checked. Having kids doesn't make you immortal, sadly.
/r/TheRedPill25/05/15 08:23 PM
1

Eh, you won't solve anything with this approach. So you convince a woman or two to "not be a slut". She marries the first guy she bangs, has 3 kids and 10 years later she divorces him and the kids get the worst end of it. Live and let live, just relax and lead by example as you will drive yourself crazy trying to change one person, and it may even backfire.
/r/TheRedPill25/05/15 05:40 PM

I have no interest in trying to control people's behavior. You clearly do. I don't care if someone wants to plate 10 women or have 1 only for 80 years. Up to you. Same goes for women. Practically impossible to try to change one person but trying to change entire groups of them is just a huge waste of everyone's time.

I get that and I think you have a point, but sometimes saying "sometime" is okay as you aren't coming across as desperate- more like, casual, I'm not in a hurry, just sometime in the future.

Disagree. I have twice recovered from stuff like this using FB, even once failed to ask for the number, looked her up on FB later, asked her out, and had a couple of dates with her. FB shouldn't be used for getting girls but don't throw it out the window as a backup plan if all else fails.

Calling is not a good way to go if you value your time. Texting is instant. If you are semi-decent at writing, you can send her things that SHOULD get her to text back. If she doesn't after a day, you know she's not interested. Calling means entering voicemail hell. Most girls don't answer their phones, so you leave a message. Most girls don't check their voicemail, so you end up never knowing if you could have got her to come out with you. I get what you're saying but these days, texting>callin…

Boring game can work sometimes though. Being boring doesn't hurt your chances as much as some guys think. Taking action is by far the most important. He probably lost her the night he didn't make a move, but to get her out on a date after the fact I don't think he screwed up.

I kind of disagree about the cringing. Yes, he should have got with her that night. BUT, after the fact, he didn't do anything wrong. I one time met a girl in a coffee shop, had a nice chat, got a lot of IOIs but for some reason I didn't get her number. I found her on FB later and messaged her and asked her out, and she was thrilled that I followed up and we went on a couple dates. It's never too late and once it's done, I think you have nothing to lose by following up later, even if odds are pr…

Good for you. Marriage is a losing proposition. It's a lose-lose. Yes women can get divorce rape, but they pay a huge spirtual price, and...end up with another failed relationship. You can't put a contract and ensure "together forever", and your chance of "love" is better without a marriage. Marriage is a farce and a fairytale.
/r/TheRedPill25/05/15 04:03 PM
8

This happens all the time. Military "marriages" are a joke, both parties are usually fucking around and hiding it- the military marriage is an unnatural arrangement, where the spouse is gone for months at a time and visits home are short, "cheating" is a natural consequence.

Of course he did. In government, and especially in Russian government, you don't rise up the ranks without using violence. Using violence, to me, is not "red pill", or "alpha" or anything positive, it's just a sad method that some humans use to get their way, and it certainly doesn't help citizens living in their countries.

How is a broad "women aren't angels" statement problematic? It's no different than "safety first," "measure twice, cut once," and other broad protective maxims. It's not. Saying women aren't angels and saying AWALT are completely different.

Humans aren't natural monogamists. Many books on this. If you're plating, you're in open relationships. It's difficult and requires a lot of radical honesty, but not bad for everyone.

This is a confusing post because your experience in an OR and what OR's are are not the same thing, but it keeps coming across that way, and while your conclusion MIGHT be correct, it's not backed up by your experience. Yeah, I know. That's why the idea that all women COULD act a certain way is pretty meaningless and as bad as generalizing all men to be potential rapists.

1

Apples/oranges. You're speaking of things that can kill you. We're talking about issues with women (which...yes could kill you as well but that's outside the realm of this discussion). Yes "that" has been defined on this thread but when one uses "AWALT" randomly, it is not usually defined. All women cheat? All women flake? All women will leave you if you got in a car accident and ended up crippled? The vagueness of AWALT is where the problems lie.

All men also have the capacity to be rapists. So what? It's pretty meaningless to make an absolute statement like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/15 12:34 AM

Exactly! One could also say "AMALT" and list all these things that most men do and lump us all together. To me it's best to just ignore all of these generalizations and go out there and live life, not expecting ALL women to be sweet angels or vicious cunts.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/15 06:38 PM

It's still misleading. MWALT, fine. ALL is the problem. You could apply all your points to MWALT and it's the same, unicornism included. Anyway, the bigger problem is that "that" is not defined. All women are like what? You could just start applying everything to this and it becomes harmful: "She flaked on me! AWALT!" "She cheated on me! AWALT!" "She didn't text me back! AWALT!" It's pretty silly in those contexts, it's like you're just saying fuck it, they all do the same things so why even bot…

The problem is "All" is never right. "Most" would work much better. When is "all" in any regard correct? I'm not picking at semantics, I believe the truth is important here, even if it's 99% of women do something, it's still "Most" not "All". Why does your asking out point have anything to do with it? Of course this happens all the time. Women flake, all the time. But not ALL women flake all the time. I reward the ones that don't flake and it has worked well for me.

Interesting points, I'm listening. To this: Some will leave at this point, others will get the message and improve their behavior. This is true, however, they will not be HAPPY. I kind of agree, but a lot of guys around here say that polyamory only benefits the woman. Divorce is a different story. Marriage itself has always been a scam, it's just more so a scam now with the insane laws. But even 60 years ago, the idea that you can lock down "together forever", or assure love with a contract, has zero basis in reality. No surprise. Women are STARVED for attention. They LOVE getting matches and emails all day long and casting most of them aside. HB4's can go online and have a field day of ego-stroking. And, agreed, DO NOT GET MARRIED under any circumstances. It's a trap.

Totally agree, there is too much talk here about hiding your emotions. Emotions are normal and natural, whether they are positive or negative. Don't go around crying on women's shoulders, but holding things back also is unhealthy and, like you said, not very fun.

Sorry to hear this man. NEXT her like there's no tomorrow. There is NO CHANCE she won't continue being dishonest and play games with your emotions. I know it hurts, but this is a good learning experience. I have had them myself and you will be better off because of it later. I wouldn't really think about giving second chances anymore to those who have proven dishonesty. Keep in mind there are plenty of fishes in the sea, dust yourself off and bang another girl as soon as you can.

Totally agree. I have a friend who's Indian. He used to be TERRIBLE with women, and seemed destined to have his parents arrange a marriage for him. But then he discovered PUA methods, and suddenly he was having sex with really good looking girls doing Mystery Method stuff. The PUA stuff helped him get over his lack of confidence. But his parents don't understand what he's doing. A 36 year old should be married! Just shows how bad it is to get married at a young age. Or at all.

When I divorced, I thought I was too old to get the women I wanted. My post-marriage dating life was okay but very limited as my mind was limiting me. Then I got a GF when I was 39, she was 26.
