how do I practice? Where do I go out? How do I make friends? Usually on the rare occasion that I'd go out I'd just stand by myself and not talk to anyone. A cringe moment that I had back in high school that I still think about is the homecoming dance sophomore year. I thought I should go, so I did. I ended up not dancing a single step. Didn't talk to a single girl. I ended up leaving less than an hour after getting there. It was absolute awkward hell

Does the side bar content help get over social anxiety? At this moment, I can talk with a girl as long as its required to do something, like order food or if shes a cashier or what not. thanks, ya this isn't a joke. I'm so socially awkward that I have never had a gf before, I just was thinking that perhaps if I looked at the situation from the totally opposite perspective something might change. And talking to random people at least to me is weird. I've lived at my current residence for 5 years and have NEVER ever had a random person come up to me and strike up a conversation.
