oh in America the church is tax exempt as well https://www.irs.gov/charities-non-profits/churches-religious-organizations in early 2023 the LDS Church was exposed in America for hiding a 32 billion dollar investment fund through shell companies https://www.nbcnews.com/business/business-news/mormon-church-multibillion-investment-fund-sec-settlement-rcna71603

See what happens is these women have personality disorders and due to tribalism and their need for validation they tend to attract/flock to each other

Yeah it’s all so crazy. The church has so much money and this just goes to show that nothing is independent from our government. Everyone brings religion and all kinds of shit when we just need to make moral decisions backed by scientific evidence. We know there’s a sexual abuse problem and they’re covering it up so how can we stop it oh yeah, let’s let them keep the loophole that allows em to not report the crime. In exchange we’ll get some money. In America the church is connected to the boys …

Doctors, teachers, shrinks are all mandated reporters. 17 states have made priests mandated reporters. Clergy can be a spiritual advisor and still be required to report sexual abuse especially if it is something rampant in the church. I’d even argue only a bad spiritual advisor would hide child sexual abuse. Also, the clergy are the ones doing the sexual abuse.

The guys probably have things they need to address which each and every single one of those women prey on or weaponize. Now that I’ve been in an abusive relationship I empathize more with guys in difficult relationships. Being trama bonded to an unstable woman is the worse possible thing for your mental health and life. At a certain point you just give up and start eating the blows. Also society doesn’t give you space to talk about it and they victim blame you. Also, none of those women should b…

I’ve experienced this at your same exact age. A girl I didn’t even know accused me of rape, she went to a different high school and her parents contacted my parents. It was insane and very scary. Thankfully it got shut down really quickly because the girl who accused me of rape said we were also in a relationship. i linked to show that she's a Columnist for Oprah and has made it on to Psychology Today despite the other things she's published such as the book OP posted. Not to mention in both articles she says no brainer points in both articles. in the psychology today article she basically says if you're constantly dating men who are emotionally unavailable, you're the problem not them. In the Oprah columnist she basically says women can be feminine, powerful, and successful.

I can’t speak for the entire world but that’s the case in America. As for the rest of the world I think victimhood is 50/50 at a minimum. In America more men get raped than women and women are actually rape men way more than men rape men. All stats don’t include made to penetrate rape or prison rape. “The National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey reports that nearly identical numbers of men and women experience sexual violence. Each year, 1.92 million men are made to sexually penetrat…

Feminism was never about equality look up Janice Fiamengo. She reviewed the oldest literature on feminism for what it is. It was always about creating a matriarchy. Now it’s just mainstream. https://youtu.be/7s-3WgAo-Gk?si=rQIGsm7jq8UO0Lur She was once a feminist like many others and left the movement. Feminism is just as radical as white supremest movements.

Social punishment is completely subjective and easier to cope with / avoid. The way to stop people from doing every dirty trick in the book is to punish them. This is like the Johnny vs Beard case. She literally chopped off this man’s finger and shit in his bed. Cheated on him countless times, fucked over his career b/c lost so many brand deals. He got money for this. How is that Justice ? She should literally be in jail for domestic violence.

Every long term relationship break up leaves each partner experiencing a degree of ptsd. As for toxic relationships those who are in then when they finally leave have worse symptoms of ptsd due to the emotional abuse. There’s also post divorce trauma and ptsd. Any divorced dad will tell you that shit is wild.

Every single one, so much victim blaming it is insane. This bitch stalked me on three separate occasions for over 6 hours. Everyone blamed me and sympathized with her. After I finally built the courage to leave, this bitch started telling everyone I raped her. I also lost my life and I know guys that had the same experience.

I agree but unfortunately some lads don’t make it to the studies or their gaslighted so hard (in a psychologically abusive relationship) that they become so vulnerable and just melt. Yep the victimhood mentally is developed b/c people with BPD have a view on reality that is based on how they feel, not what actually happened. So they make things a smaller issue than it actually is and externalize their suffering from the diagnosis onto you which is how they paint themselves as a victim. You basically become the cause of all their emotions which is wild because you’re not even doing shit. These bitches be fighting real and imagined fears of abandonment which is literally a sym…

Someone else and yourself in the comments literally said they see that women with bpd get treated differently than men with bpd and that bpd abuse is shunned. It’s interesting they always defend the diagnosis that women are more likely to get. It’s not like they try to defend all cluster b’s, just that particular personality disorder. The double standards are wild. Someone tried to argue we’re generalizing people with bpd it’s a Fuckin diagnosis how’re we generalizing. They then tried to compare…

A high body count could be linked to sexual impulsivity which is linked to borderline personality disorder (something that everyone should avoid, if yk yk) Edit: just wanted to add this b/c someone said this isn’t true. No one’s generalizing. I would tell anyone to avoid dating someone in the cluster b pool whether the person is bad or not. Why take the risk? Totally not worth it. The symptoms of each disorder can be like hell for a normal person or neutro typical person to cope with.
/r/MensRights28/12/23 07:27 PM

How you feel on the inside vs how your symptoms show up in the real world and affect others are two completely different things. Plz stop referring to the 1% of men and using whataboutism’s. Personality disorders are a completely different thing. Cluster B disorders have a lot of overlap with each other. Stop comparing personality disorders to men’s issues. You’re doing an injustice to this movement because that’s not even a fair comparison.

Probably seeing that America has the 3rd largest population in the world. It’s a pretty large sample size to assume it could apply world wide but there’s still a possibility that it’s different due to different cultural norms. Another perspective to consider is that the field of psychology isn't male friendly yet. There's little funding for male psychology and therapy still fails men. So, there's still factors that we need to consider but don't quite have the data/support on it yet.

Idk it’s hard to argue that it wasn’t intentional. The tech industry houses some of the wealthiest companies in the world. Systemic issues are issues perpetuated by the system and social issues are issues perpetuated by society. Most of men’s issues are systemic while most of women’s issues are just social at this particular point in them. To be frank I think today women are their biggest problem. A lot of guys say bpd is a nice way of saying sociopath and i think there’s some truth to that mainly because their behavior on the outside resembles that of a sociopath and internally we have no idea what’s going on. We can only judge based on their actions over time. Also, here’s some research I’ve put together on bpd. It’s pretty basic but I think it gets the message across that no one should date em or even get near em. it's not rare at all 75% of the people diagnosed are female. https://my.…

People truly don’t know the terror also society doesn’t allow men to be victims so you will be victim blamed. In prison alone more guys were raped in the year of 2022. Prison rape stats currently sit some where at 140,000 cases per year. Linked above the study done by human rights org. That’s already more than the 89,053 listed on statista. You’re absolutely a dumbass

You hear a lot of talk that trans women in women’s sports is misogyny but trans men in men’s sports is just as much misandry. Those who play/watch men’s sports know how competitive it is so just opening up seats for trans people is basically DEI all over again. There has to be separate leagues. Also I’m not gonna lie it’s wildly disrespectful as a man to watch someone just buy a penis and all of a sudden become a dude. Buying the biology is really just wild in my opinion.
/r/MensRights20/12/23 02:40 PM

I agree all the trad cons preaching against it are cucks. Let the women deal with their own shit. If a trans person comes into our league I’m sure they’ll just leave b/c they won’t be able to compete. Unless they take gear and roids which most do but that’s cheating.

sometimes i think those evil people who control the world weaponize feminism to help them carry out their evil mission to control the world. evil people running the world - I give your movement more money, you give me surveillance. feminist - done deal it's this or the feminist are just so radical they just want to kill all men it's honesty probably a mix of both of these
/r/MensRights20/12/23 12:50 AM

as a male rape victim I can tell you this is 100% true. I think it's because there's less resources for men and women are encouraged socially to talk about it and overcome while men are not. Also, the victim blaming you experience as a guy is pretty severe. I'd imagine that if a study was done on male victims where the abuser was a man the study would come to the same conclusion which is male victims experience depressive symptoms more than female victims

yeah you're right, they need to implement some form of law that punishes those who come forward with false accusations. This will actually push things forward. I also, think like i said earlier they need to examine situations where rape is common for example prison and implementing proactive policies to prevent it. Part of it is prisoners are protected if they come forward, they fear getting jumped or killed or raped again. Also, the staff play a big role in perpetuating this kind of behavior. C…

I assume the reason many perpetrators of sexual violence never face punishment is because victims oftentimes refuse to report their cases to the police. Part of it also pertains to the shortages of rape kits as you highlighted as well. It's hard to provide solid proof, and men/boys aren't encouraged to come forward at all. At least women/girls get some encouragement. This does not necessarily offer "proof" about a non-existent "anti-female" and "pro-rapist" bias within the criminal justice syste…

Thanks that entire movement was a scam. Seems like they were more focused on getting the voices heard of certain people but not actually trying to combat the two issues which are rape is way to common and very few rapist get caught. For every 1,000 assaults 975 will walk free (https://www.rainn.org/statistics/criminal-justice-system). Part of this is due to a shortage of rape kits but there are other issues if you look into specific cases that have overlap. For example, in the Boy Scouts sexual …

That shit is ingrained to a lot of boys especially those from single mom homes and we already know how many homes are single moms. Sure there’s other reasons like genuine fear, fear of legal action if they defend themselves, and fear of judgement/disbelief from cops 80% of all single parent homes are single moms

sexual attraction has different aspects, for example you can be physically attracted to some one but then their brain dead and have no emotional intelligence so it all fades away you don't need to talk to someone to be physically attracted to them but you do need to talk to them to see if you're attracted to the non physical elements (their spirit, emotional maturity, ideological beliefs, intelligence, financial standing and the list goes on) for many if you got a bunda but everything else is …

That study in the article is just to fear monger and get feminist orgs more money. Rapists are rapists regardless of laws. Only 5-6% of cases actually go to trial so we need to stop focusing on the social shit (because I’d argue most people know rape is wrong and wouldn’t do it) and focus more on the systemic barriers to brining both female and male rapist to Justice. All of those laws enable the toxic femininity. You don’t think VAWA creates a cognitive bias in assuming women are more likely to be the victim? Or how about the mandatory charging policies against men? This definitely perpetuated the victimhood mentality that comes with toxic femininity.

They are minors they don’t understand their actions therefore they can’t give consent. California has already passed a law to protect minors even if they give consent because many studies have shown that children’s decision making capabilities don’t fully develop until their later stages of life beyond the legal age of consent.

The majority of which were from western countries, i.e. Europe and North America (n=74). Their findings were 3.5% of males and 5.8% of females had MDD so I'm not too sure on that. Its not just horny men that led this to happen thats a very ignorant way of looking at it there’s many biases that actually lead us here one is just the tendency to attach positive traits to women and negative ones to a man (makes people more likely to empathize with women than men), then there’s the wonderful woman fallacy, apex fallacy also works against men, and how the media depicts men. Feminism took these gaps in society and milked it to created a biased family court, make rape and dmv a g…

Chris Hanson and the reporter did us dirty. It’s not a new trend it’s always been happening now it’s just not being overlooked. Chris doesn’t find female predators in his case because he’s not looking for them. It has nothing to do with intimacy the abuser just wants to assert absolute power and control over another. It’s not about teachers being unable to control themselves after COVID, it’s the fact that this has been happening and will continue to happen because child predators do in fact exi…

For example biologically a man wants to provide and protect for his family not with gender norms that sounds like being a knight with shining armor and a lot of money. Without gender norms providing looks like listening, going on dates, chores etc. When it comes to protecting you can protect your spouse in many ways (not just from physical violenc…

The irony here is bars as well as clubs tend to charge men more to get in. Often times women even get in for free in hopes of promoting the club and attracting men. I wish this entire business model would change. This is out right discrimination only because the bar doesn’t also ban women from hitting on men. This bar is fucked and is going to become a hotspot for lesbians. At the minimum I hope they charge guys and women the same to enter.

No doubt the field of psychiatry is notoriously corrupt. It’s been that way for so long and it needs to change. But we definitely need help, JP and DG can’t help everyone, they also don’t provide individual care. I applaud them for what they do but we need more. There’s gaps in the academia due to the lack of men in the field. There’s many gaps in the academia when you consider men are victim blamed for suicide, masculinity is demonized, they field is yet to accept that men feel the same things but express it differently, and more. Had more men been in the field approach to care would be completely different, the anti men rhetoric would be low, masculinity as well as men’s issues wouldn’t be a sensitive topic, and the overall field wouldn’t be gynocentr…

can you link that study? I've heard of it before but never came across it. I totally hear you, I do think men require different remedies outside of talk therapy. I do think there is a need for a form of therapy that combines talking as well as therapy, I just have no idea what that would look like or how soon if at all it will become a reality. I understand the need to help yourself considering the current state of care, but I do hope it changes soon.

I think society still had ways to go before it allows men to provide and protect while getting their own emotional needs met. One point I wanted to bring up with you that I came across today is I see a double standard across boys and girls. The double standard is society values female innocence but not male innocence. How would men have a greater power dynamic if men are usually the ones perusing? Sure the decision lies on the man as to who he’ll pursue but the woman he’s perusing also has the power to deny or accept. Based on the current state of society where young men are having less sex and the male loneliness epidemic I’d say it’s safe to the power dynamic swings in favor of the women. Has masculinity become a joke in society? Some major things I learned from making this post are: The demonization of masculinity and masculinity being a joke has been normalized in mass media long before the 21st century. Impressive. I think when a man is being emasculated in this way, the only shred of masculinity left is bravado by passing it off as a joke: he can take it by joking about it or laughing with those who make it a joke, as though it doesn't matter, whilst he is crying inside. I've done my fair share of research into male sexual assault and I'm no expert but I'm also a victim myself. I can honestly say men developing coping mechanisms such as passing it off as a joke to recover their pride is a co…

it’s definitely related to the empathy gap, gender ideology, feminism, lack of proper care for men in the mental health field as well as government (still no commission for boys and men), lack of father figures, lack of good women encouraging strong qualities in men. All of these factors made masculinity a joke and demonized it.

I believe it all has to do with with the empathy gap. Due to the lack of empathy or neglect towards boys/young men they aren’t given the love/attention they need from their mom so they become simps trying to fulfill that need for love and lack of validation that they didn't get from their mom. Since they were robbed of love and validation at home their self worth was degraded leading to simping in hopes of fulfilling what they didn't get in childhood but deserved. man, abusive relationships are really hard especially in cases where women are the abuser because they are enabled to continue to abuse and their tactics are normalized. You clearly don’t watch sports or compete. The men in professional leagues are way more skillful than their female counterparts. That’s without a doubt. I’ve seen clips where pro female athletes can’t even compete against teenage boys let’s alone old men. Seems to be a gap in skill. The WNBA cannot even turn a freakin profit. People go to sporting events to watch players display their skill. If there’s little to no skill present no one’s going to watch. Strength and speeds are all skills any ath…

She was also advocating for equal pay YET the WNBA can’t even turn a profit and has reported 10M losses year after year. https://youtu.be/2bt0vyvqz48?si=ldKFVxBlZaf2Gpbt WNBA has never turned a profit

This is actually only part of the argument but it is a good chunk of it. His point is female athletes aren’t as skillful as male athletes and that’s due to their biological make up which is out of their control. You’re right people outside of MRA may demonize this response but they’ll demonize any response on this topic. They do not deserve equal pay. If they want socialism move to another country. Thanks man it absolutely wrecked me. You just made me remember I was forcefully kissed in middle school by a few girls. The rape cases are actually really common. https://www.saveservices.org/2021/04/pr-cdc-says-men-are-half-of-all-victims-of-sexual-violence/

Got raped at 16 by a grown women. I never told a soul until I was 22 and I avoided any intimate relationships until I was 21. Also women and girls are very touchy. I’ve had older women cat call me, and I’ve had older women touch my ass at church. When I went to Greece last summer walked into a club two chicks sitting at bar I walked by because it was the only way to the back one touched my ass and they just laughed. Women are nuts man.

Couldn’t have said it better. They won’t change their ideology as long as the media continues to air it and people as well as corporations continue to fund it. I’ve meet actual people that believe in the gender gap which is wild. At this point they know it’s a misleading statistic and NBC still airs it.
/r/MensRights12/11/23 10:43 PM
12

Honest answer is no I don’t think so. They are very self centered even in the way they express their statistics. For example they’ll say women are underserved in the medical field but they won’t point out that men are less likely to seek out health care. The infamous 1 out of every 4 women are homeless stat is also a great example. Right now if you at the news there’s been brief talks about men’s issues recently. See the links below. All feminist on both panels basically say men’s issues aren’t …

Good question I’ll pass it on They spread a lot of misinformation by creating things like the “suicide paradox” to make it an issue for both men and women which is nuts. I’ve read so many articles that said men die because they choose more violent methods or they didn’t ask for help.
/r/MensRights12/11/23 05:36 PM

This is a valid question probably the question we all need to ask. I just don’t know how they’d be able to find this out unless there were police reports for the domestic and physical abuse or a restraining order for the psychological abuse. I don’t know how they’d gather the data. Maybe getting it from a mental health therapist but there’s room for bias here. They’d need a way to get the data from a direct source to remove any bias.

I hear that from a lot of vets, they say they lost more brothers to suicide than in the field. The lack of care goes to shows where the government truly stands this issue. Studies show many veterans don’t know how to apply for veterans’ mental health care benefits, are unsure if they are eligible, or are unaware that mental health care benefits are available. There’s many other barriers to seeking care for vets so when I hear people say the demonizing stigmas like “vets have the stuck it up ment…

There were 6,146 veteran suicides in 2020 which marked 20 consecutive years of of 6,000+ suicides for veterans. 9% of the veteran population is homeless. https://stopsoldiersuicide.org/vet-stats The stats on veterans are truly heartbreaking.

It was in a feminist sub that i'm not in, I just came across it on the FYP on reddit.

The feminist arguement for this this is wild it seems like she understands what he's saying but just doesn't care. she tries to debunk what he's saying by making up an imaginary situation of calling out people when they are rude.

try your best to stick to your morals and values. I see a lot of boys and young men say this especially because of women but also because morality is eroding in society. Try your best to not let the world break you. Build your resilience as much as you can and that comes by tending to your emotional health, enhancing your philosophical knowledge, and taking care of your physical health. Put yourself in places, hobbies, initiatives, etc. that align with your morals. A strong sense of self and sel…

i've come to the conclusion that women's understanding of men is a projection of their own worse qualities which became the dominant narrative because people empathize with women more. Since that became the dominant narrative, it seeped into the media, laws, technology, etc. Now we're just fighting to be treated like humans

Misandry in technological applications is a really serious problem, it's going way beyond the media now. Just as they can rig an election by being biased in generating your search results or control your social media viewership with AI, they can also change/drive you views on equality and alienate serious issues with the same methods. This goes to show the underlying sentiment on men in overall society.

"Redefined masculinity encourages men to embrace emotional healing and therapy." I'm pretty sure most men want to heal from their trauma because it's very masculine to face your problems, but therapy clearly isn't a resource for men. The field is literally 80% women and 20% men with no inclination of changing in the future as women make up 76% of newly issues psychology doctorates and 74% of early career psychologist. One of the major rules in therapy is to see the same sex or find someone you r…

I know not all women are like this but clearly it's becoming more and more wide spread. 73% is a lot (basically 3/4). Just because they are known to have stronger empathy doesn't mean they actually use it. Empathy can be weaponized especially when someone lacks emotional empathy but has cognitive empathy.

If they added in MTP stats with penetrated stats, the numbers would be insane. I think the number of MTP and penetrated victims would be close, but the more prominent abuser would still be men. u/Vegetable_Ad1732 Yes the CDC, does state that about 80% of male victims were abused by a woman, but right above that data point it states that exactly 87% of male victims of (completed or attempted) rape reported only male perpetrators. The fact remains more men fall victim to sexual assault than women in America, but the perps are bad men. I'm not saying there aren't a lot of cases where women are the abuser, but the fact still remains. Men are less likely to report in general due to the fear…
