Its indoctrination that is going on in academia. I think we need a lot more men in schools to monitor these women and to act as a positive role model. Teaching boys how toxic their behaviour is isn't really productive imo. You need to teach boys they're good or can be nurturing, or it is manly to be caring etc. What feminists want is to abuse boys and smear them with a large brush. It is perpetually male-negative that they reinforce. I think its deliberate and very counter productive.

The problem is that they only point out things that they think are toxic about masculinity but nothing positive. Now with that said, I have come to the conclusion that these Feminists only think of Masculinity as something toxic and not positive. Even as a kid, i noticed that almost all jokes in kids' movies that were making fun of a gender were making fun of boys. But let's not forget to mention how we treat our female children. We make them cute little t-shirts and magazines that say "girl power!" and "girls can do anything that boys can do!" But none of that for little boys. Empowering girls doesn't automatically put down boys, not at all actually, but when no one empowers boys while everyone empowers girls... that's where it starts to get problematic. We teach boys from a young age what to do for girls, to not hit them, to protect them, and how to treat girls. And all we teach girls is what to expect from boys. This is how we treat male children. Male toddlers. It's literally disgusting. We are literally living in a matriarchy, and no one even notices.

I like to remind folks that it was feminists that told us gendered terms were bad. Remember how "policeman" and "fireman" frowned upon because they indicated that only men could be in those roles. The same logic applies here.

While the findings are totally predictable, it's very good to get some research on it, as that makes for much stronger arguments.

I see it's a pilot study, so keeping my fingers crossed that it progresses to a full blown study eventually. It's good to get the perspectives of the men through a survey, but it would be great to get some statistical data that indicates a connection between the disparaging discourse about masculinity and worse mental well-being.

Of course a lot of people won't care no matter what data exists, but they have to abandon any pretense of morality or to be acting in good faith, when there's scientific data that shows that the discourse is harmful to half of the population.

There are two types of masculinity out there, though: one that is ORGANIC, instinctive, authentic... and then there is one that is a mommy creation, a female projection of what ideal adult males should act and look like, and is framed exclusively after women's interests.

The first one contains behaviour such as being intensely sexual in a non-monogamic (or even strictly straight) way, being drawn to adventure, seeking adrenaline and being playful and goofy.

The second one is all about suppressing all your impulses and instincts in order to become a soldier and a provider (€€€) for women.

I'd argue that the organic type of masculinity is extremely healthy. It's healthy for males to act on their instincts and go live a life of adventures and lots and lots of sex. It's healthy for men to just be MEN.

However, the second type is of course extremely damaging for men. However, men who do not conform to it are not useful for women and will therefore be punished in many different ways. A man who is authentically masculine will, for exemple, never accept to domesticate himself in order to work and give his money to a woman the rest of his life, and only have sex with her. He will also hardly accept to be a docile and reliable wage worker for a long period of time.

Notice how when feminists attack masculinity, they are attacking specifically the ORGANIC type of masculinity. Not their own version of it. In the end of the day, they still want men to be "masculine", but artificially so. What they want is men to accept to be domesticated and resign to work for them and eventually go die in a war to protect them. They want men to abandon their instincts and own best interest and sacrifice themselves so tht women can continue to lead a low-stress type of lifestyle.

What I find the most ironic of all is to see men who react to this feminist attack on masculinity REAFFIRMING the fake type of masculinity that women themselves created. They hear feminists say "masculinity is toxic", and then they go like "no, it's not toxic to be a provider and a soldier! Let me be a provider and a soldier!". Hahah! That's exactly what they want! When they say "masculinity is toxic", what they mean is that they don't want you to act on your natural tendency of being sexually and financially independent from women. This is what they mean with "toxic masculinity". You giving all your money to them and dying for them is not toxic at all in their eyes. Be aware of it. Even there we are being manipulated.

As someone going into psychology this gives me hope. Not only that the research is allowed to be done, but people are doing it. There are 3 areas I want to work with once I become a psychologist, men’s health, maybe creating an androcentric therapy model so that men could actually get a benefit out of therapy. 2. Gay people to destabilize this incredibly harmful and affirmative view, because, as a gay man, it is only hurting our community. And 3 is ADHD. I want to destroy the habit of prescribing medication as treatment because in all honesty the medicine is more harmful then not being on it

It's easy to dominate humans when you make everyone hate men and manliness. When you do this you make the women of the tribe rely on the government for "safety" and resources.

In turn, female voters will protect a more centralized government because they feel without those protections they are once again at the hands of men.

It is therefore absolutely crucial for that centralized power to reduce manliness where possible. To demonize it. To make it a joke. To only respect it's values when executed by feminine figures.
