This isn't outrageous. Women consume less food, water, and oxygen. They weigh less. All of these things can combined can save tens of thousands of dollars per crew member per day. When I worked for a space entrepreneurship, part of the mission plan was to recruit a double amputee and train him or her to be the pilot. Having to account for two fewer legs was a great way for us to improve our volume budget.

Fuck no. Boxing will make you dumb if you do it any serious amount. Don't to any martial art that involves getting hit in the head a lot. Also, if you do a martial art that doesn't get you hit in the head a lot, you won't actually be prepared for a fight. Better to just avoid fights. If I were you, I'd do Judo. Its highly competitive, physically exhausting, there are national level competitions, but the odds of injury are extraordinarily low.
