First, protect yourself, but do not let the fear of false rape claims keep you from getting laid at university. Sex is great, but it involves some risk. You can either avoid all that risk and be celibate or take some chances in life and get rewarded by it.

That being said, you could get unlucky and end up in the wrong place at the wrong time, but there are some steps to take to avoid that.

I think a good approach is to ask why to girls make false rape claims. This way you can look out for warning signs that point to the root of the issue and avoid them.

Fear of social reprisal (aka don't want to be called a slut): Depending on the social circle the girl hangs out in, she may not want to admit having consensual sex with you. After you guys do the deed avoid making her feel ashamed or slutty about it and keep it discreet. In a non-beta way tell her it was fun and if she seems nervous assure her that you don't kiss and tell and its too bad our society makes people feel guilty about sex. Again, stay discreet. If word gets out that she let you do anal on a one night stand then she is more likely to retroactively feel ashamed, then use rape to save face. MMF sex and gangbangs are the worst for setting off a girls anti-slut nuclear option so either avoid them or if you are into that stuff be careful. Also, and this is a big one, girls will use false rape as an excuse for cheating - be very discreet with girls that have BFs or husbands. This my save you a shotgun blast to the head from a jealous lover as well.
Attention craving and wanting to be the victim - classic case where a girl acts out because she thinks the attention will make her sad life better. People will empathize with her, give her attention, and she will be happier because of it. The easiest way to avoid this is the old adage "don't stick your dick in crazy". If you know a girl is crazy/off it comes with a higher risk so think about that. I know you can't always tell in a loud crowded party.

Other tips I've heard on this sub and elsewhere:

Immediately after you have sex send a brief text that can be used as evidence if an accusation occurs. "I had fun last night, you get home safe?" This is especially good because she can validate the text with a response to your question.
ANY girl that has claimed to be raped in the past is off-limits for a ONS. Not worth it. Get to know her first at least (or just go by my rule and file them under "un-bang-able")
Never admit to things that could be used in court against you later on. Do not admit that you knew she was drunk, do not admit that you were not drunk, do not admit that you never received consent, do not apologize for anything. I had a girl once tell me the next day "what happened last night? I don't remember a thing!" I just responded "Yeah, I was pretty drunk!"
DO NOT talk to the police - they will lie to you to try and trick you into providing evidence. A small lie to the cops could mean losing a her word vs. yours court case. I remember an article on TRP a little while ago that said the police will get her to call you, say what happened was "wrong", and get you to agree/apologize. DO NOT apologize, use the "its too bad society makes people feel guilty about sex" line.
A lot of people swear by having a hidden camera in their room. In some jurisdictions this is illegal. Even if it isn't, you should keep it a secret even among other guys. The video may not be admissible in court but it could be helpful to your lawyer.
Don't even brag to your boys about sex. A classic beta behavior is gossiping with the girls in hope that it will get him in with his crush. Betas are not to be trusted with this information. Even guys who exhibit alpha characteristics may let things slip in order to improve their standing. Only your best non-beta friends can get the details.

For downtown/party pickups:

1.) Use a fake name

2.) Bring your own condoms

3.) Go to her place

The goal here is to be untraceable. You don't need to give her a working number. If you really want to keep in touch, set up a google voice account, but even that is risky.

For people you know:

1.) No sex after alcohol. Ever. You can flirt, kino, get her worked up, but you can't have sex.

2.) Put up a sign indicating the apartment is under audio/visual surveillance. Most people won't think you put that camera/recorder in your room. They'll think its just a home security system. Home camera systems are expensive and difficult to conceal, so if this is too much trouble, check out option (3).

3.) In single party consent states like Glorious Texas, only one party needs to consent to audio recording. I personally leave my phone on audio record for the duration of the encounter, then make sure to save it when I'm done.

4.) Always get the confirmation text afterwards. Send her a text indicating that you had a great time, and ask her if she got home safely. You are hoping to get a reply that you can keep as evidence.

5.) Never, ever, be around blackout drunk girls. I don't care if she's crying in the street outside of your apartment. I don't care if she got drunk at your apartment. If you have to do something, you can call a cab and send her home (pay cash). What they can't remember will be presumed to be you raping them.

6.) Someone suggested the brag/text method and I think its clever from a TRP perspective. Insist that if she wants to have sex, she has to send a bragging text to her friend. She gets her status, you get evidence of consent, and the magic can happen.

The single best way to protect yourself is the buddy system. Keep room mates informed and present if possible.

There is literally NOTHING you can do to prevent a woman from making an accusation. Yea can take precautions but that only lessens the risk it doesnt remove it. To prevent false rape accusations you need to become a rapist. That way everything they say is true. Also remember to be a violent rapist because if she lies about your nonviolent rape, its still a false rape accusation. South Africa is the world capital of violent rape. I highly recommend traveling there and taking classes.

Don't let it cripple you. I've been on the bad side of an threatened accusation and it messed me up for the longest time. I'm still a little fucked up over it. Deny everything and dont talk to police without representation present. If its too expensive to employ a lawyer then take along a friend who is one. Years ago when i worked in the law i saw this on occasion..."oh by the way, this person is a friend of mine who happens to be a lawyer etc". Police hate interviewing suspects with lawyers present as they can get them into a shit load of trouble. It greatly constrains their questioning.

I can't say I had false rape allegations, but I did have a girl say I felt her up when I didn't. From that point, I blocked her on social media, and told the truth once (as I grenade jumped being a Blue Piller at the time) and never spoke of it again. Best way is to not talk about it. I've had a few friends accused of things I assume that they haven't done. One thing to remember is most of the time a false rape allegation is just some girl making noise because she can. About 90% percent the allegations are just something you can wait out like my friends did. Some people will talk shit about you for a few weeks, then things will go back to normal as people forget about the 'alleged' incident and move on to some new drama.

It is definitely a problem at university, and I think it's really good that you are being proactive about this issue. The university will certainly be very unlikely to take any disciplinary action unless she's a true psychopath. They tend to understand hookup culture and deescalate situations. I know there are exceptions to this.

The best advise I can give you are the following two pearls of wisdom. Don't stick your dick in crazy and don't be a complete asshole. All my friends that got accused broke that first rule. They were warned multiple times and they still went for it. I would also suggest saving text messages and snapchat if you can. There are very easy ways to do this if you are prepared. If you do get busted those messages and pictures w/ their timestamps will basically vindicate you and though you shouldn't show them to school without a lawyer your friends will likely be reassured by texts from her asking for a quickie the night after the supposed 'rape'.

Most sane girls won't make false rape accusations. If you're really that concerned about it I'd consider just getting a girlfriend and taking it slow. Even though random hookups are fun and part of the college experience, if you're that concerned I'd about them avoid them. I'm not saying don't get laid, I'm just saying don't be paranoid. Not all girls are crazy.
