Yup. This x 100. I've been online dating successfully and, like in sales, you have to always be closing. Set up the date and communicate only a few minutes before you meet to tell her you're running a few minutes late.

Martial arts / MMA gyms are the best. Not as solitary as lifting.

Risk and reward are the underpinnings of the world. Take zero risks, reap zero rewards. Can you fail? Sure. But you will fail no matter what if you don't put in the effort. But you don't want help, you want a pity party.

Good Christ, what a train wreck. Do: No contact, lift. Don't: ever have multiple "dates" with a girl without physical escalation, agree to just be friends, tell her you miss her after she's played you. You know the December boy? He's going to fuck her like an animal. She's not going to want him not to kiss her.

This is so obnoxious. You're like an entitled six-year-old throwing a fit because he can't get a Snickers at a grocery store. What exactly are you looking for here? You ask us how to get women, we give you an explanation, and you adamantly refuse to act towards it. No girl wants who you are. You either fix who you are and become what they want, or you continue as an incel. There are no silver bullets. Stop believing you're entitled to a happy ending and work towards one.

You can workout outside for free. Get books from your public library. C'mon, man, you're at the bottom of a hill telling us it's unclimbable while we're chilling on top of it telling you to start taking small steps forward. Excuses are easy to make. Taking action is hard. Only the latter will fix anything.

In my sad bluepill days, I had a girl once have the gall to tell me she was interested in me in ways beyond romantically... At least I had the self-respect to completely break off contact with her after.

The moment you realize you've made the switch is incredible. I saw my past in the blue pill descriptions to a T, and I see my present in the red pill descriptions. It's such a freeing feeling when you stop caring and just go after numbers.

Of course you're depressed, dude. You broke the cardinal rule of breaking up - no contact. Went on ten FIRST dates and is shocked none compare to a long-term girlfriend who he still sees constantly and is "friends" with. Absurd.

Yeah, lack of progressive overload makes it kind of silly to say you're doing SS.

I bet. I'd give it time and keep doing the adaptive things you're doing. You didn't get this way in a week or a month or a year or even five - don't expect it to go away quickly. Small steps over long periods of time.

Why do you want to? What potential gain are you seeing here? You'll likely just alienate your friends and cause drama. Unless you're trying to fuck someone, there's no reason not to agree and quickly change the subject.
/r/askTRP01/08/14 01:47 PM

I don't disagree, I think we're defining looks differently. To me, looks are your physical traits. Fashion, on the other hand, is status. It's social understanding and a display of wealth / success. Wearing a transformers shirt to a yuppie bar will not get you far. I'd also throw lifting in there as very important for the sake of pure masculinity.

When you were out of shape, you had the confidence of a fat dude. Of course you couldn't get girls. You think Biggie had trouble picking up girls? Man likely couldn't see his own dick but it didn't matter - he was the top dog in every club he went.
/r/TheRedPill01/08/14 01:35 AM

You shouldn't be getting down voted. It's pure projection. Men value looks so assume it's super important to women. Women value status so assume it's important to men - ever notice on Tinder how many girls will have endless pictures with their "besties?" It's because they want to see guys surrounded by others for social validation and assume it's important to us too. If you want to understand what women are looking for, look at what they're offering up.

Looks are secondary. I'm average at best and doing okay with online dating. My profile is basically built as AFBB. High salary / credentials, superimposed on douchebag arrogance and gym talk. It's hilarious.

Odds are he's too full of estrogen (due to excessive fat) to put on solid muscle, and you really can't do many compound lifts, besides the bench, while lying down. On top of that, the amount of willpower he'll need to exert to keep to a weightlifting program would be better spent maintaining his diet. Finally, if he does get injured, he may end up bed-bound for weeks or months. He needs to be focusing on low-intensity exercise and shedding fat. Putting on a few pounds of muscle won't be worth ha…

This. Whenever I'm uncertain about form on an Oly lift, I ask one of the big ass motherfuckers clean and jerking twice my weight. Friendliest people in the gym.
/r/askTRP30/07/14 12:23 PM

Discipline, not motivation. You know how many days I get to the gym and just don't want to be there? It's not motivation getting me through the work out, it's discipline. You're doing the right things lifting-wise. You just need to start and not stop. The days you're excited to go are easy, it's the days you just feel like your gas tank is empty - and you still go - that build character and self-respect.

/r/keto and /r/paleo - lose the weight first. Working out is secondary to that and starting to lift right now won't be doing yourself any favors. Your joints are under immense pressure. For exercise, start walking daily. The longer the better. When you get down to ~230lbs, worry about lifting / endurance. Again, your body at 400lbs is under enough stress. Adding more will likely lead to injuries. Realistically, dropping the weight will take you 18-24 months, but at 400lbs, you need it. Lord know…

Honestly, it's scary as shit until you do it a few times. I've had the head turn, I've had the successful kiss. I've also, in the past, been too afraid to kiss a girl and ended up tormenting myself overanalyzing signals from her. That's a hundred times worse than being rejected. A rejection let's you shrug, laugh, move on. A missed opportunity leaves you wondering for days. A few suggestions to make it less scary: Don't leave it to the end of the date. I mean, there's some limited science showing gains in T after a week of no ejaculation. I don't know how legit it is, but I anecdotally felt it. Lifting weights and talking up girls were literally my two main activities.

Eh, I've been told I'm a good kisser. I don't think it's that. They don't come back to my place because they know what it means and are giving me resistance. Different game of getting a girl completely good to go when in an isolated location versus in a park, where moving to my place means she has time to wind down and rationally decide. Here's what you do, OP. First, you hit the gym. You smash the weights. You get lean, strong, powerful. Alongside it, you take up a sport - I recommend boxing or muay thai or bjj. You do this to become more physically appealing to her. Second, you focus on your schooling / career. You need to be working hard, killing your classes, and they're hopefully in STEM. She deserves a man whose got a career that he's proud and passionate about. Third, you find a passion. If it's fitness or sports, great, …

I'm not sure, to be honest. I don't have personal experience with this. There are a few TRP guys who were in disastrous relationships that slowly managed to reform - I've read some of them declaring what they were going to do, and some of them just doing it. Not sure if one strategy works better than the other.

I'd take the big bath approach (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_bath ; i.e., you take a big plunge instead of wading into it inch by inch).

Look, here's the reality of the situation. You train people how to treat you - both men and women. People will always treat you the way they've learnt how to, and it takes a long time of deliberate effort to re-train someone. You have spent ten years letting someone trample all over you. The fact that she does it is not her fault - it's yours. You never set boundaries, you never made it explicit when she crossed your lines, and there were no ramifications for every mile she took from the inches …

Both. I do bjj and have done muay thai for four years. I get far more play when I'm also lifting. Muscularity is easier for girls to see than being able to fight.

Same way all other men can. You come from a lower natural start point, and have a lower natural max, but that max is still higher than 99% of where men are. Do the match questions for yourself. Helps weed out people you genuinely wouldn't enjoy spending time with. Far from perfect, but if a girl isn't into kinky sex, for example, and that's one of my only important ones, I filter out boring girls.

I cannot agree more on all of this. I sometimes open with something from their picture or profile, but direct coffee asks seemingly work just as well in my experience. I disagree. There's a societal narrative that women should have traditionally male bachelorette parties, involving strippers. Plenty of girls think this is the norm and fine.

I disagree with the guy above. An ultimatum, while not great, has the potential to make her understand you're dead fucking serious. It tells her what your boundaries are and not to cross them. Generally you want those boundaries to be clear before you have to enter explicit ultimatum country, but it won't always be the case. If you had said nothing and just let her do it, dumping her would be intensely cruel - she wouldn't know you cared until it was too late. Likewise, you'd gain nothing - you'…

Women do not initiate unless you're an Adonis. You need to be making a move and doing it fast. Aloofness builds attraction, but there's a fine line between having girls interested because you're a mystery, and not talking to an interested girl at a party because you're too afraid she won't find you mysterious any longer. Make a move as soon as she shows interest. Stringing her along makes her think you're either disinterested or scared.

Girls only say things like this to test your frame. Translate it in your mind to "I want to fuck you but need to be sure you really are this confident." Agree and amplify or playfully make fun of her. If you get rustled, you're done.

Most of your goals, right now, are too big to be truly actionable. For example, making enough money from your business is a great goal, but what does it mean for tomorrow or next week or next month? What are the actions you need to take right now to work towards it. For your business, a real goal is "get my first customer" or "build a prototype of my product." By selecting this as a goal, you make it clearly reachable. You can visualize the steps needed. It's the difference between having a goal…

Agree, but it's all context-specific. I have a mentor who has sold a few companies in the 8-9 digit range. When I first got a connect, I certainly wasn't going to assertively demand his time. I asked politely if we could meet for a coffee because I was interested in doing what he had done, offered a time, and when he counter-proposed, agreed at once even though I had to move around a slew of things on my schedule.

Maintain frame. Always maintain frame. By escalating her anger, she's testing whether you'll back down like a pussy or not. If you back down, you're a jerk and she's the victim. If you maintain frame, you're strong and maybe she was wrong. Rome wasn't built in a day and establishing a new relationship dynamic doesn't happen overnight either.

The things she has to lose are related to beta bucks, while you're trying to gain her desire through them. Will never happen. If you really want to keep her, dread game her hard and start being incredibly selfish. Maybe it'll work.

You need to move out and stop associating with your father. He will never give you the validation you need and until you get away from his orbit, you will never be able to progress as an individual. Family is only important because they are the people who are supposed to support you unconditionally. If that's not the relationship you have, cut them out like you would the other toxic people in your life.

Yeah, people in general are just predictable. I think the bigger issue is that, as boys and blue pill men, we're indoctrinated in the "feminine mystique." The idea that women are impossible to understand is very strongly hammered into our heads from day one. And then, we take the red pill, and sexual dynamics make sense. We can finally see the truth and decades of bullshit go flying out the window. There's no mystique, there's no mystery - it's just that we've been taught the wrong lessons and a…

A lot of great suggestions. One fun one, which you can do when relaxing, is to watch old films from the 1950s-1970s that feature male leads (all of them, really). You can see how they interacted and reacted before gender norms got switched, with obvious Hollywood amplification. Ain't no alpha male like Clint Eastwood in a Sergio Leonne film, or John Wayne in anything.

Partially because two of them are dating my close friends, partially because they know I won't validate them like their girlfriends will if they start whining about petty shit. I tend to apply the "would I do this for a guy friend" mentality. So if there is a legitimate issue…

Same. Except for my sister. I still kick myself for spending years as a bluepill "friend" who thought one girl after the next would eventually see me as "different from all those other jerks" and would listen to her endless, victim-complex whining. Never again.

I've actually had a positive response from my closer male friends, and we're all highly educated, left-leaning individuals. I think I just tend to befriend other aggressive men.

This really isn't true. Bigger is better has nothing to do with women, it's boys making fun of one another and trying to be tough. A girl telling you she likes to be filled up has the same bias as a girl telling me I'm the best lover she's ever had, true in the moment, but spoken for the audience. For every self-reported size queen, there's a girl who swears that large dicks hurt. The only difference is the memory of her best / current lover and his physical attributes. Likewise, the bigger is b…

Look at it this way - if most guys weren't blue pill as fuck, we wouldn't have such an easy time with girls. They're not ruining the market, they're providing an awesome arbitrage opportunity due to their poor bp game.

There's nothing alpha or beta about that. Some people want more intimacy, some don't. You need to avoid seeing all aspects of yourself in such an unnuanced ideology. To be alpha is to chase your goals, dreams, and desires without apologizing for doing so because culture dictates otherwise. If what you desire is emotional intimacy, that's fine. Just make sure you draw strong boundaries with any lover and always remember your own self worth. If you're always willing to walk, you'll have fulfilling…

As a below average looks and height man who has dated models in the past, this isn't true. But you have to be damn accomplished, damn charismatic, and have a lot of cockiness.

Women are still valued post-40 for their accomplishments (see Clinton, Rice, Meyer, Rowling). They just aren't valued intrinsically for existing anymore. Guess what, though - I've just described the status quo all men live through. We have zero intrinsic value and are generally invisible in society unless we are accomplished. The purported patriarchy, which values women for being, only values men for doing. You want equality? Women over 40 know exactly what it feels like to be a man - all of a s…

Oh shut the fuck up. So tired of weak men talking about sociopathy as a worthwhile trait. You know where it gets those of you not born with superior networks, resources, or intelligence? Prison.

Dude, relax. There are two options, one is your theory, the other is mine. Reduce the ad hominems and the anger - I'm just a stranger disagreeing with you over the internet.

I mean this in the nicest of ways, but get over yourself. You've bought into the very wrongheaded belief that your girlfriend needs a savior and that, without you, she will be lost and empty. She doesn't. She will hurt for a while, and then she will pick herself up like every other person on the planet and move forward. This won't be the last cataclysmic event that pushes her over the tipping point. My point is that you're not her hero, nor her raison d'etre. Breakups hurt, they suck, but they'r…

Just because someone mocks it publicly doesn't mean they didn't enjoy it privately. Few women are going to outright broadcast that it turned them on or they're into being sexually dominated. By mocking it, they can signal they've read it, and discuss it one way with others who have, and another with those who haven't. In a society that barely reads, basically every woman I know read 50 Shades. It being trendy is why people picked it up, but why did they finish after realizing it was garbage?

I got banned earlier for telling someone to check out the guides here. The someone in question was a self-described financially successful 30-year-old who had just spent $1000 on a hooker and didn't cum. He was literally at rock bottom and talked about his failure with women, how the second one showed interest, he became infatuated, etc. The top rated comment was from an actual whore who tried to make him feel better. I got compared to Elliot Rodgers. I hope he took my advice anyway.

Many times. Until I found TRP, I didn't realize how or why. Almost every longterm relationship I've had started with already taken girls who were looking to be fucked by someone they perceived to be a player. Unfortunately, like a little bitch, I would start to quickly emotionally invest, developing oneitis, and then being shocked when they either chose their boyfriends over me or we ended up in a disastrous relationship where they treated me with no respect. Problem? I go from fun, mysterious, …

Honestly, I don't understand your point here. Not really sure why it's shocking to you that a very handsome man with a lot of money and free time, looking for older, overweight women will be bombarded with more messages than the average guy. Shocking, the fake account is more interesting to women than you are. Seriously, I'm lost at what point you're trying to make. That women suck because they're attracted to what is basically the beau ideal of male hood? How is that any different than when men…
