I'm a well muscled (and above average handsome if I may say so myself) man. I work out, am fit, I have ambitions, just finished my MSc and started a blooming career since moving back to my country after studying abroad. However, I am 5'5 tall. While this doesn't bother me from day to day, I do face some social stigma based on this, particularly from girls trying to test my frame or intimidated guys.
My question is, how does one handle these comments? They come typically in the form of "yeah, but you're so SHORT", or simply "you're too short" etc. Sometimes out of the blue, I haven't even made any moves, and they're just sort of blurting out "you're attractive, but you're SHORT".
Until now I've just gone with the "Huh, (I bend exaggeratingly down and look at my pants) I hadn't noticed. Thanks!" or I just give them a knowing "did you really think that comment through"-smile and just shrug and say "oh well, what can you do."
Any good suggestions on how to handle shit like this?
