Being RP never meant following a bunch of set and defined rules. It fucking sucks seeing a bunch of people become dependent and mold themselves to a specific way of thinking, and the current lack of embracing a self defined path is showing in recent posts and comments. The goal is really to stop listening to rules like a dog sitting for a treat. Here, you’re supposed to get a toolset that will help you do it rationally and truly become yourself.

Religious dogma is always at the backbone of every perturbed society, even within the individuals that seem to reject it; the only difference is that the figure worshipped is not a symbolic deity.

That mentality can only fester in an echo chamber via the neglecting of the reality in front of oneself. That human interaction isn’t always black and white. Such an improper translation is the exact reason an incel cannot communicate correctly with a woman. Aka a result of the ‘internet matrix’ and mistaking its mechanics of communication as an offshoot of reality.

Agreed. I trust his “side” of the debate as much as the left. Both are being driven by imperatives other than preserving the integrity of the nation(hint: they’re very similar motives).

The electoral college was put in place to stop one thing specifically: ‘stupid people in large groups’. For all you sophisticated gentlemen out there, it’s also known as “tyranny of the majority”. The founders knew that the many aspects of our system could be manipulated by able hands. We should be defending these systemic protections at all costs.

You’ve looked hard if you can find even one source that you can trust. The amount of skepticism I have to use while reading basic news now is atrocious. However, there is a benefit: that skepticism has positively bled into other societal interpretations (recognizing the upside down clown world around us).

My personal opinion is that many of the women are being lied to in a way similar to beta billy and his crowd of incels. The lies divide us, teach us to hate one another. We are of the same species, the same elements. The best women I’ve met were ones who were willing to work together with me and fulfill our life passions. I helped her discern reality from illusion. She told me the emphasis of nonverbal signals when her feelings would overwhelm her. I’ve had a woman describe to me her thought pro…

Young girls are now born into this mindset that develops in their mind at such a young age. Young Stacy will never know that she could possibly behave another way, because all the other girls are constantly staring at their phones and gossiping with each other. Ads on her phone constantly bombard her with messages of “female empowerment” (the businesses doing this think it’s a way to increase their supply of green paper, btw). I’m not going to tell a woman how she should behave, but nobody recog…

The social aspect is a large indicator of credibility in the newest generation, due to constantly being bombarded with it via their phones. Most of my 18-21 year old peers don’t understand political policy. School didn’t teach them that. So all of the newer methods of information spreading, like a celebrity saying “fuck Trump” on Twitter or a tabloid reporting “OMG Donald Trump licked a door handle”, have a much larger impact than what the Libtards or Cuckservatives say about their policy. What’…

As everything around us goes to shit, as we slowly inch towards social dystopia, as the meaning of equality gets rewritten by those in power, is the next occurrence going to be the total societal subjugation of non-conforming ideas? With some buddies I saw a new Pixar film and sat there thinking that I’d never show this to a child. It saddens me to think that parents rely on these films to instill values into children, like a tumor that slowly grows as they age. The twenty first century image of…

Including synthesis is required to make a point credible and, if you’re trying to convince someone in debate, is even more needed. It’s like most arguments given against the left and the right by my colleagues today: they’re inherently because x, y, and z reasons (usually their own confirmation bias anyway). The backbone of said arguments? Never there. Never take a person’s suggestion seriously if they can’t answer this simple question: “how did you get to that conclusion?” Chances are if they d…

In all honest, TRP is guilty of that too. Agreed. Having a constant awareness even of one’s own bias is imperative to navigate the shit storm that is today’s ideologies. If someone is reading this and doesn’t read anything, including TRP, with a skeptical mind, they’re doing it wrong. The difference in North Korea’s “news”, if you could even call it that, is that the incentive to censor is to keep their people down by force. That’s exactly how they are designed. Whenever I try and explain to people that this is where societal problems are being inflamed, or how this is the mechanism of capitalism, I get responses of disgust from the people who choose to remain in their world of monetized depression. He’s trying to explain that the ideas of these thinkers aren’t valued anymore by most readers here, despite a lot of TRP philosophy being based off of them. “Shiiit, Aurelius is over 2000 years old? No way can that ever help me get Stacey and her succulent boobs, who I’ve been eyeballing for six months”. The philosopher interprets and discusses their way on how life should be lived, as well as criticizing those they disagree with. I’m currently reading Voltaire.

The problem will stretch into future offspring who grow up and are subjected to today's toxic culture, unless current societal "advances" are reversed. Last night, I talked to a friend who said verbatim: "I don't know how to speak to women". I told him about the time I went on a date with a so called feminist and forced her to pay half the tab, which she happily obliged. He was dumbfounded. When it comes to the run-of-the-mill news stories today, Clickbait titles + fiery content > Actual facts Why? Factual evidence doesn't proliferate ad revenue. If one believes the crap reddit put in TRP's entrance, they're more likely to keep clicking on articles about how Kavanaugh is a serial rapist. Every one of us needed this in our lives, and some of us were lucky enough to have someone to do it for us. My parents divorced when I was very young. When I was a kid going through puberty, I never had that vital masculine influence. I, like every other teenage boy, wanted to fuck girls. Today, most of the boys that age are never given a toolset on how to achieve this, and are actually unaware on how to do it. Luckily, TRP would do much more than just that. The constructive criticism TRP gives is the cornerstone of self-improvement. I didn't nearly get enough of it before coming here, and I'm sure OP is in the same boat. This. Libertarianism is focused around individual liberty and free choice. That means things that the government has barred and regulated will now be free for people to do if they choose. However, it's subjective: it all boils down to what each person believes the government should be doing, and how to do it. That's why there is so many different kinds of libertarians. It sucks that the concept is seemingly so hard to realize. I don't hear about it too much unless I'm talking with other libertar…

I have to agree with OP here. Libertarianism is on a wide political spectrum, and unfortunately today many think politics and ideas are based around the parties themselves. This is horrifically wrong. I'd call myself a moderate Libertarian: my views encompass ideas from people like Sanders as well as Reagan. Not gonna elaborate because that would take forever, but reducing debt through devolution and reapplying it to better areas (such as equal education opportunity) is my ideal.

It’s definitely good to have a woman with a little backbone. No one wants to constantly have to care for their girl like a baby (and no one should), she should be able to hold her own in pressuring situations and carves her own path just like you’re doing as well. Every time I see a 5 year old with an iPad I sigh a little. If you look at their face, it’s cold and unchanging, dead focused on whatever game their parents gave them to keep them quiet. It’s awful. I had a friend openly mock TRP in front of me, him unaware that I’m a subscriber here, heheh. Funny thing is that he’s not happy with himself so before that I was contemplating showing him the truth. Problem is you can’t teach someone to embrace TRP, it’s exactly like trying to change someone’s political opinion (basically impossible). Don't promise her 6 hours and then leave an hour early - she'll hate it. Promise her twenty minutes, and give her two hours. She'll be overjoyed. I was just talking to a friend about this who was complaining on how the pizza guy said it'd be there in 30-45 minutes. However, this pizza joint always overstates the time to prevent angry customers. I told her, "If they say it'll be here in 25 minutes and come 35 minutes later, we'd be angry. Hey man, I feel the same way. Today was a wake up call for me as well. I have a very close friend, we know a lot about each other and I thought I could trust her. She trusts me with her feelings, so I thought I could too. Long story short, she's ditching me tonight to go to a party with some beta male because he has drinks (guess I'm really the beta now if that was all it took). I'm relatively new here to TRP and the ideas here are some of the best I've been subject to. I've had the idea of AWAL…

The worst part is that this behavior is able to flourish because of the beta males. Without them, the exaggerations wouldn't be accepted.

Being the action guy is solid advice, thanks. That's something I really need to work on, because a lot of the time I'm exactly like the guys who sits there going "yeeeah". But I also remember the few times I did lead the group they were amazing and fun. I just never realized how important it is to take the reigns sometimes, shit.

Eh, I'd go for what level you'd like to game at the beginning. Rejection is harsh, and finding the girl you want is a long and brutal road, but that's how life is too essentially. Once you overcome the harsh part, you'll be free.

This persona that you want can be found by being your best self. This is said here quite often, but go to the gym, improve your style, conversation skills, etc. The most important thing is to free yourself from others' influence. I'm not talking about advice found here, but things like pressure in a social situation. Don't let outside influence and internal anxiety get to you. You can't be your best self unless you overcome these two things. I've lost weight, have an awesome style, and try to ta…

This is obvious, but I find it hilarious that they just ban anyone who has a different opinion. They preach acceptance and toleration, yet they can't tolerate anything that is different from their own beliefs, even if this differing belief is more logical or correct, one that would actually help them towards whatever goal they're trying to achieve (it's unclear at this point). Fucking hypocrites...

Will continue working on it. Thanks for the advice!

Next time when I'm out with some friends I'm gonna do this. I tend to sometimes say things I wouldn't normally say, and it always ends up backfiring.

Some good advice! I have the same problem as OP here, just not as severe. When I talk with people I tend to unintentionally brag or seem like a narcissist as well. I just keep talking to try and do the opposite and just dig the hole deeper. I'm a bit of a control freak as well and have a desire to be the center of attention. I've been forcing myself to sit back, but it's much easier said then done. Well, the first step in fixing the problem is identifying it.

Don't think about being successful in the future. Do things that you think will improve yourself, and success will come with it.

I can't remember where I read it, but just by being a man and having a dick you have a chance with any girl. The difference between guys who get her and those who don't is their body language and how the girl is perceiving their intentions. Tonight I held a stare with a girl longer than I've ever done. Doesn't seem like much, but not holding the stare is one of my biggest weaknesses. By slowly going over these hurdles you will be able to overcome them. I'm in the process of doing this now, but t…

Good post! Currently I have several friends who are more of acquaintances, we talk in class but not really a lot outside of it. Thanks to some other posts I am trying to become better friends by showing value and making an effort to hang out outside of campus. It's still a huge work in progress; I am currently attempting to find how I can give this value to other people.

I'm not in your shoes, but I'd think having your shit together would make others admire you. As long as you don't brag, you'll be fine. Once she asks just say it in a normal tone and give the impression that you feel happy and accomplished, rather than being a braggart.

Nothing physically changes when you have sex. If you're one to argue that it changes your mindset, you're already thinking the wrong way.

Amazing post. My girlfriend of 6 months (I had the confidence to ask her out thanks to posts just like this) told me that she loves how I just don't give a shit about what other people think. That wasn't always the case, when I visited seddit the first time around a year ago that was some of the first advice I received. Take it to heart everyone, it really does relieve a lot of stress and improves your life.

I don't think that's the best option for a hookup. Now, a few months into a relationship that can be a great time.

To give the impression that you wanna fuck, I'd use kino, even light touching as she will feel safer with you. Make sure you tease her (But not too much) and deliberately give her a ton of IOIs. This is what I did to a girl I have one-itis with and today we made out in an elevator. Don't go out of your way to do these things too much, just be aware and use them when it feels natural.

What he said (lol) It is a very effective way to build friendship and attraction when preformed correctly.

I found that talking to her like you do to one of your dude friends works great, just refrain from "dude" jokes, politics and anything else you know would disinterest her. Try meeting her outside of school. When you meet sit close and use kino, it really helps.

Awesome tips, really appreciate it. I'll try the eye gazing next time I see her, and if the opportunity arises when it seems acceptable to ask her I'll do so.

Oops, for some reason I accidentally skipped that part. I've just been working on my approaches (because they suck) and wanted to see. Sorry about that.

Holy crap you made that look like smooth sailing. I just wanna know, how did you approach her?
