TL;DR*: Being bold and displaying your intentions better than others, even if it could cause awkwardness, never backfires as long as you stand by them and not give a fuck about what you just did.

I'm on the road to becoming better socially as well as you guys, and this may be obvious to some people but maybe not to others. About a week ago I was hanging out with friends, including one girl. The other dudes there are too focused on their insecurities and are all acting awkward around one girl. Just one girl! While watching something I unintentionally spout out an obvious, almost cringy sexual innuendo, directed at the girl. I know that's not smart, I just run my mouth, and have accepted it as part of who I am. It made the situation really awkward and I was even called out on it by the other dudes. It was at the caliber of something that I thought could make you lose friends. But, while they were creeped out I pretended not to give a fuck and like everything was normal, and after a while I actually did not give a fuck anymore. Fast forward a few days and none of the people there even mentioned it to anyone else or around me. Why? The other guys are too insecure to do something as bold as I did, and the girl is aware of my true intentions. Some of you guys may've known this already but I sure as hell didn't think I could get away with something like this until it happened that day. If you're in a group I'd time an innuendo better to prevent unneeded awkwardness, but it seriously doesn't matter because nothing will change as long as it doesn't affect you.

Good luck with everything, gentlemen.
