About 26. Realised that men will sleep with anyTHING let alone anyONE.

I hosted a party and some guys ranked all the girls and told them. The audacity. The girls rated lower were in tears. They were swiftly kicked out.

When I went to Thailand, a plane from Germany landed at the same time. The entire plane was old, obese men who were clearly sex buyers. Grossed me out knowing exactly what they were spending their holiday doing.

I’ve seen it with my own eyes. The police will arrest you if a beat up a stranger in the street but beat up your own partner and they’re no where near as bothered.

This isn’t about being right or wrong though? We can all make sweeping generalisations but I’m also keen to hear the other side.

A full face of makeup is not the same as a lot of makeup. A natural look takes nearly as much effort and time. I’m more highlighting that I’d be expected to look nice everyday.

This is so true. I was talking to a guy from OLD and we were planning a date. I’ve got a fair amount of pictures on my OLD profile. We were getting along well and both excited for the date. He randomly added me on IG and then all of a sudden, silence. Now I know the logically, I’m attractive. But I also know that he was probably expecting loads of bikini pics with big boobs etc. The irony is I probably look better in real life whereas the majority of the filtered, plastic surgery girls on IG loo…

Yeh I can do all the wife/mother duties. I want kids. I’d have your favourite dinners on the table every night, a spotless house etc. But can’t find a man that is able to cope with a full time job, let alone anything else.

So what would a suitable partner be for you? If people are usually below you.

I’m sure some are yeh. But can you elaborate?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/21 06:55 PM

Correct! People seem to think I’m single because I’m batting away lots of amazing men and being too fussy. The reality is the men on the dating scene live with their mummy and struggle to hold an erection because of their drug use, depression and porn addiction. Like I said, if I could find a traditional man, I’d be happy to play a more traditional role.

Yes exactly that. I forgot to mention I’m also expected to not gain a single pound and have a full face of makeup on every day.

A lot of men can’t provide for themselves, let alone a wife and kids. I’d happily quit my job and be a housewife if the man I was with could provide me with a reasonable house, allowance and lifestyle. They reality is they can’t so I have to work full time but I’m expected to also pop out babies and do all the house work.

Some people enjoy renting whilst saving up for a deposit and finding the right house. They have a list of requirements and spend months looking. It takes them a long time but they finally find the right house. It’s exactly what they want and more… Other people are less fussy. They’re just eager to get on the housing market and jump at the first chance. Some people just aren’t desperate for a partner until the right one comes along. They don’t ‘need’ someone to sustain themselves. There are plent…

A man does know he’s hurting you yet he still chooses to do it. I’m at the point know I just don’t respond. Also, it’s very rarely a surprise. I always know it’s about to happen. I need to just be strong enough to be the one the proactively break it off.

The terrible news that I only had 18/37 pre-requisites. Wish I could find the list but it’s on an old phone. One was ‘must be between 5ft4 and 5ft6’ - real specific stuff. 😂

Lady Gaga said something similar and the entire thread was both men and women saying no wonder she fails at relationships. She should put family first and provide at home before focusing on career etc. Can’t believe this rubbish exists in 2020. Pretty sure being financially stable and happy makes should be good traits but apparently not.

It gets very boring very quickly arguing who’s ‘turn’ it is to pay especially when you know he can afford it. Arguing over a five dollar coffee with a guy that has a really expensive car and wears designer clothes is just humiliating. It shows what he thinks of you and his lack of generosity. Imagine if you stayed together and for whatever reason you ended up financially dependent on him, you’d have to beg for that five dollars so you can have a coffee with your friends. That’s not what relation…

At no point have I misunderstood the situation. I’m able to predict what’s about to happen because I’ve seen the same behaviour multiple times. When men say ‘don’t judge me by what other men have done’ I struggle not to laugh. I’m not, I’m just pointing out that you’re clearly lying/talking or seeing other women/not that interested. Sorry it’s not on your terms anymore.

Any excuse not to commit. This time round you’re the entire ‘problem’. He’s not worth one second of your time. There is going to be someone out there that adores how you look.

It happens the other way as well but I appreciate your point that men seem to be lacking some self awareness. It’s also very hard to comprehend that someone isn’t who they said they are and it’s disappointing. Half of them thinking they’re talking to 10/10 models and it ends up being very different.

If a date costs a man little to no money, it means he’s not invested and is trying to see as many women as possible for free. I guarantee if you’d gone on that walk, within the hour he would have said something like ‘hey the walk is nice and all but it would be way better getting to know you somewhere more comfortable. We could go back to mine and watch a film.’ You’re too much effort for him. He can’t even be bothered to take you for a nice meal. It’s a lucky escape !

I was going to meet up with a guy once and looked his name up because he was an actor. I thought I’d stumble upon so things on IMDB but first thing that comes up is a rape trial. He was cleared but it scared the crap out of me.

I have had more than one man comment that they think it’s weird that my clothes style changes day to day. Like it actually blows their mind that one day I wear trousers, the next day a skirt. Sometimes I’ll wear trainers and sometimes I’ll wear heels etc. It’s not my fault they only have one outfit they wear on repeat plus I wouldn’t call different clothing items different styles.

The lack of self awareness is what confuses me. I know when I last showered etc. and how fresh I am at any point. I’d freshen up without someone asking me. Men can go days without showering then be shocked and surprised you won’t go near them.

I was chatting to a few guys but most asked to meet up and I swiftly unmatched. They clearly are bad people if they can’t just follow the law for a few weeks. If they can’t respect rules in a pandemic, how will they respect the sanctity of a relationship?! We have no idea when restrictions will lift so I’ve just decided to not bother for now. I don’t want endless boring chats.

Does he really know what’s on here? It’s women giving advice and sharing stories. This isn’t the equivalent of men trying to ‘pick up’ women etc. This is about finding and building healthy relationships. I wouldn’t take it to heart. He has no idea what the world of dating is like nowadays.

Where are all these models they’re dating? There can’t be that many. It’s 100% negging. In spite of the fact you don’t have the body/face of a supermodel, I’m willing to date you. The next time a man says this, I’m gonna say ‘oh cool. Yeh I’m the same. I usually date tall men/men with six packs etc. but I’m willing to be open minded and get to know you anyway. Deadpan delivery is gonna be key. I can’t wait.

The amount of women moaning that supermarkets won’t let couples in because ‘poor baby won’t be able to do the shopping himself.’ I’m pretty sure if you have the list to a 10 year old, they’d manage it. Not sure why full grown men are struggling.

So funny. I went on a dinner date with a guy and had explained that I’d had a big family lunch and wasn’t very hungry. I ordered a nice salad and ate about half and decided I was done. A few weeks later, he brings up that he was disgusted that I’d ordered a salad as he was paying and I should have had the respect to order a real meal. Madness. Honestly madness. I spent the first three/four weeks of quarantine talking to men online. I even was FaceTiming a guy every night for hours. I’ll admit I was doing it because I was bored and I haven’t had male companionship in a long time. It did hit me one night that there had been endless red flags with all of them. If I’m bored I should get a hobby. If I need companionship, I should reach out to my close friends and family. I swiftly ditched them all. It’s much better talking to no one than talking to LVMs. We…

My brother prefers literally zero makeup, zero nail polish, plain dressed etc. His gf happens to be like that so it works well. He was brought up in a female heavy household where we were all super glam and done up - loads of makeup, fake nails, hair extensions etc. I only assume he prefers the simpler way of living. I also know in the UK, there’s plenty of women with very extreme appearances. Very dark fake tans, very long nails, loads of hair, giant dark eyebrows. If a women wants to look like…

They suck at texting you. I don’t like or expect huge amounts of conversation via text but I do expect some interaction daily if I’m dating someone. Everyone checks their phone first thing in the morning and just before they go to bed. We all get busy sometimes but if it’s a consistent problem, they’re not worth it. We all know if you like someone you get excited at telling them about your day.

I was dating a guy who kept telling me was 6ft and that I must be lying about my height (5ft4.5). I got so sick of him believing he was this absolute god, that I got out a measuring tape and called him out. He was 5f7.9. He of course didn’t believe me. I had to get a second measuring tape to prove it. I was just so embarrassed to be with someone so dumb and delusional. Obvs dumped him straight after.

It’s very different. As a single women, I own a house and car. I have a good full time job. I can pay someone to do anything I’m not physically capable of. I don’t ‘need’ a man to sustain my lifestyle in any way. Whilst women were levelling up, what were men getting up to? Nothing. Literally nothing. We have a generation of men that can’t do the ‘masculine’ stuff and don’t want to do the ‘feminine’ stuff. They bring nothing to the table. Do I mind you don’t know about fixing cars and can’t do DI…

The last guy I met from OLD told me he was 5’11. When we met, it was quite apparent that he was maximum 5’7. MAXIMUM. And he has the audacity to say I’m tall for a girl. I’m 5’4.5. That’s below average in my country. Do I prefer taller men? Yes. Would I go out with a shorter man if he was attractive to me? Yes. Would I go out with a guy so insecure that he added 4 inches onto his height? Hell no.

Have been called a gold digger even though I earned more than him. I owned a house and car and he didn’t. His reasoning was that I could sense he was going to be rich one day because of his ‘business ideas’ (all dumb). How can men be so delusional?!

You know things are bad when men can’t even be bothered to try to have sex with you anymore. A world of sex on tap with zero effort and excessive porn use has led to this. I’ve had one date in four months and that’s with me proactively trying on dating apps. A few years ago I could easily get four dates a week with decent men (on paper) and now I can’t even get then to reply to me half the time. I went speed dating and matched with three guys. But they’re all overweight themselves and don’t see a problem with that. A guy I know is morbidly obese and moans about his girlfriend being ‘fat’. She’s beautiful, lovely long hair, tall and curvy. She’s not ‘fat’ she’s just not skinny. The audacity.

These are answers then men give that make me perceive them as ‘boring.’. It’s really the sheer lack of passion/enthusiasm for anything: Do you like your job? No. But it’s a job. I was discussing this today with some females, especially if they let men at work follow them on IG. You’re not going to ever be treated equally when men at work can masturbate over your bikini pics. Women have spent decades to ensure we have equal rights and are treated more than just a piece of meat.... But now, society has conned women to believe that being half naked on IG is empowerment. It is not.

My general experience is that if a guy doesn’t go down on girls, then there will be issues down the line sexually. He may be grossed out by it and that’s not something I care to deal with. I’m not particularly bothered about receiving oral sex personally but I wouldn’t let a man know that. He needs to show willing and make the effort.

If I get any inkling that plans will change, I just cancel them myself. Mental day? Running late? Something came up? Feeling tired? Need to head home first? Phone died? Haven’t eaten yet? Didn’t sleep well? Blah, blah, blah? Let’s just cancel. I’ll see you another time.

It’s wanting blowjobs when they haven’t showered, are very hairy/ungroomed and have made little to no effort asking about your day. I’m good thanks. A few of my friends has been forced (psychologically) into deep throating and have proceeded to vomit over the penis when it goes too deep. Absolutely horrifies me that men think that’s totally ok.

I was seeing a guy and had cooked him dinner on a number of occasions. I enjoy cooking and we’d be seeing each other after work so I think it was a very nice gesture. On the fourth occasion, I asked if he would mind helping with the washing up. His response, ‘No thank you’. I was so stunned that I didn’t say anything at the time. I brought it up later on and he didn’t want to ‘waste’ his time and didn’t see why he should have to help. Absolute pig. He also kicked up the biggest fuss when I asked…

I dress very feminine but not particularly tight clothes or huge amount of skin. I’ve had men on dates say they’re disappointed I haven’t shown my body more. I’ve explained to them that attraction is holistic and they’re clearly pornsick if they need to see boobs/butts to be attracted to someone.

I very much enjoy being completely hairless. I’m hairless irrespective of partner status or time of year. The moment a man gives up grooming, I walk away. It’s completely symbolic of how they feel about you. If they can’t be bothered to trim their balls and have a shower, they won’t bother with any other partner duties.

But then they’re still actually really boring in bed and you’re just waiting for it to be over. Luckily they have no stamina and premature ejaculation so at least you can go back to watching TV.

The amount of men that can’t get fully erect and aren’t concerned!! If I was a man, I’d be straight to the doctor and / or psychologist to work on it. I’d be horrified that I can’t deliver. I think it depends on how much less but I’m new to this so don’t know the FDS perspective. I’ve dated guys who earn a bit less by lifestyle is the same so no problem. I’ve dated guys who earn a lot less and after realising they can’t even afford a weekend away, I dumped them.

I’ve been told that I’m being shallow wanting sexual compatibility with a man. A lot of men are terrible in bed but when you get a good one, it does wonders for your wellbeing and mood. I’ve been with guys for a few months and already bored of having sex with them. But they were bad from day one. I just lose all patience.

I’m struggling to find a man between 30-35 who hasn’t completely let himself go. Missing teeth/yellow teeth, overweight, dress terribly. I’m far from perfect but at 30, I don’t look hugely different to 20. I’m the same weight and I make an effort with hair, makeup and clothes. I have healthy looking skin, hair and teeth. I don’t expect a man to go to they gym 7 days a week and have a six pack but I do expect them to stay tidy and presentable.

The ugly ones aren’t necessarily better because I find that men don’t know they’re ugly. They all think they’re absolute studs. I think it’s more how they perceive themselves and how important their looks are vs. other attributes they can offer. The larger the gap between what they are vs. what they think they are seems to be more correlated with performance in my experience. A 4/10 who thinks he’s an 8/10 isn’t going to make any more effort than an actual 8/10. May as well stick to good looking…

I always say I’m not on birth control. One guy went nuts about it as if it was ridiculous to expect him to use a condom. But he was at least glad I’m ‘not a slut cos only sluts are on birth control’. He also asked if I’ve hit the menopause at the rip old age of 30 as he had no understanding at all about the female body.

Just ditched a LVM after two dates. Feels so empowering!! He’s not a bad guy but he would just be a drain on my resources. He’s banned from driving because of drink driving, has a kid with a woman who was a homeless one night stand. Can barely manage holding down his job. Suffers with extreme anxiety. He’s not healthy and just smokes all day and gets take out. The fact that he’s funny and we had loads to talk about isn’t enough to see him again. 💪🏼

I shave my whole body for myself. I love the feeling of smooth skin all over. I don’t have any razor rush or ingrowns etc. so it causes me no bother. I do it regularly irrespective of partner status. I just love it. I do however detest men that still think they can have a go at me when I have a tiny bit of armpit stubble or some hair coming through on my upper lip. It’s like I’m basically hairless 95% of the time and it’s still not enough. And these men are always the the ones that never bother …

It’s not as simple as good looking vs. bad looking men but I also have found that bad looking men are obsessed with appearance. They constantly comment and negging is the norm. A recent one by a very below average looking man that I stupidly agreed to date was ‘I’m surprised you look good in casual clothes.’ They also seem to highly prize society norms of attractive. ‘It’s a shame you don’t have bigger boobs’ or ‘you should dye your hair blonde.’ The good looking men I’ve dated have thought I wa…

If a guy smokes, he’s not ever going to give it up for you.

I dated one guy and he was very honest and upfront that he was bipolar. He told me this on the second or third date. He said it was very important that I knew and he would understand if it was a dealbreaker. He explained what medication he was on etc. His honestly meant that I could make a choice and I decided that it was not a dealbreaker. On the other hand, I’ve been on dates with men who have extremely debilitating depression and/or anxiety but were not open to getting help beyond taking pill…

My personal favourite is when short men tell me that I’m ‘big for a girl’. It’s not my fault that you’re a tiny man but have some perspective. You’re the one that’s below average height. I’m still 164cm which is by no means big.

When they say ‘you need to go to the doctor about that’ when referring to your perfectly healthy and normal sexual bits.

‘There’s something wrong with you if you can’t squirt.’ ‘I have an extremely high sex drive and most girls can’t keep up.’

I injured my back and it was bad for about two weeks and the guy I was seeing was getting annoyed. All it meant was I needed help picking things up off the floor and it was still too much effort for him. Imagine actually having a serious problem!

Was wondering how long they would go on for. A couple weeks in, I had written them off. Entertaining nonetheless.

If you like someone, you text them back. It’s pretty straightforward. Now and then life gets in the way of getting back to someone quickly but EVERYONE checks their phone before they go to bed and when they wake up. If a guy has had a crazy day at work, it takes seconds to text one line when he goes to bed to show he’s thinking about you.

Accidental discovery. I’m a very logical and efficient person so seems sensible to learn from others rather than make the same mistakes!

I have two guys on Instagram that constantly DM about meeting up some time but it’s been over a year and no set plans. I sure as hell ain’t travelling to them! I’ve stopped replying.

A man recently told me I was the first women he’d ever been with then didn’t want to be slapped in the face. He positioned it that I was the weird one for not wanting to be basically beaten up during sex. He said he personally had no preference either way. It’s one thing having a man showing off his strength and muscles and throwing you around a bit vs. putting you through completely degrading acts.

The last man I dated would only peck and never use any tongue. He said that he found it strange I wanted to use my tongue and that most people don’t. Clearly this is not true. We wouldn’t ever just kiss for the sake of kissing. He just would peck me if he wanted sex. It’s not a healthy dynamic. There were many red flags but this was one of them. He was very non-present during sex. It was just a physical thing he did to me rather than with me.
