There's not enough information here to give you an answer. Remember Briffault's law. Or read the sidebar if you don't. You can't negotiate attraction. If you got obvious signs she was into you and you fucked it up somehow, it's maybe worth a replay. Otherwise, you're just fooling yourself into thinking that she'll suddenly become attracted to you.

That's a valid approach and will often work, but it doesn't answer OP's question. And some girls absolutely will talk themselves out of appearing like a slut, particularly in a group setting.

Just mean to say some whore or something. That just makes you sound butthurt and kind of low-value. A better response is "It's an acquaintance" - it leaves some mystery to your date, doesn't sound butthurt, and your date will immediately jump to the conclusion that it's someone you fucked / are fucking, thereby creating a bit of doubt & dread. A woman you are with will immediately compare herself and go in one of two directions: a) She thinks she's better looking that the other woman and will wa…

I discovered the detrans sub. There are some very sad stories about young (20s) girls waking up and realizing that they aren't trans after all and that the double mastectomy they had done at 21 was a terrible mistake. It makes me both sad for them and angry at the people who influenced them and blindly accepted their infatuation with the idea.

If you play your cards right in tech, $200K isn't crazy. I've averaged over ~ $600K over the last 4 years and I'm here on Reddit. I'm far from rich though. I look longingly at the $1M+ TC some of the more senior guys at some of the FAANGs get. Someday...

This is just so much full of shit I do not comprehend how people believe you Well...This is really going to blow your mind...I wouldn't take a job that only pays $200K. (US). My base salary is more than that. With bonus, etc., I'm close to $300K, with stock, etc., It averages out to ~ $600K / year over the last 4. You can believe or not, I don't really care. I'm not a 'programmer' or write much software day-to-day, but I'm in tech. I'm past my 20s, so this isn't something someone will get right …

I *love* women. But...I have an understanding of their nature. If I leave a steak on the floor and my dog eats it, I'm not mad at my dog, nor the steak. If you don't expect a woman to be your Tinkerbell Fairy Princess, your Manic Pixie Dreamgirl, or your mom, you won't be disappointed. That's where the problems start; bloopers idolizing and pedestalizing women. They can't live up to it (nobody could) and they'll resent you for putting them in that position. If you understand them for the ani…

It shows just how completely removed the people in these board rooms are from reality. There's certainly an element of that, but also don't discount the toxicity of current 'cancel culture'. Nobody savvy enough to rise in the corporate ranks is stupid enough to be the 'person who spoke out against transphobia' or 'equality' or whatever the buzzword du jour. It's a career killing move, so just easier to go along with what the woke SJW crowd wants. Guaranteed if someone spoke out against it, the d…

Learn to avoid suffering from the shit-test, false rape accusations, shaming from women and other men, discrimination from the society. If you're talking about evolution, I think it's pretty unlikely that in the first ~ 30,000 years of human existence that the “Boss who always gets to eat” was fat. I think you're on the right track, but in those [hunter-gatherer] times, it was probably the difference between Caveman Chad and Emaciated Ernie - I don't think there were enough calories had to get to modern standards of fatness - but probably what we now consider 'shredded'. The unlucky ones probably looked like Auschwitz surviv…

6'6" 194lbs sounds pretty lightweight, not to repeat a cliche, but are you lifting? I wouldn't read too much into stares / eye contact. Like another commenter said, approach. That will be a better indicator. There may be subtle IOIs that you're missing. It's /probably/ not your looks. If you were truly bad looking, you would know. It's probably that you just don't stand out. Improve your wardrobe, your hair, your skin - those are all things you can control.

It sure doesn't like you two were on the same page regarding 'pretty exclusively'. You definitely misjudged what you had, and now you're romanticizing it and being nostalgic. To find a quality woman, be a quality man; understand that AWALT. There are no guarantees. That said, you'll find a less challenging category of women in day-game venues - basically anywhere in public that you would encounter them. If that seems too difficult, take a class of some kind that will put you in regular proximity…

That's fine and all that you're not worried about taking him in a fight. Unfortunately, the realities of society are such that a fight isn't really a practical solution; either you end up dead or injured if you lose, or you end up dead or injured and sued / prosecuted if you win. Neither of those is a great option.

At some point, you'll have to make a stand against the doctor thing. Fortunately, it doesn't have to be right now. It won't hurt you (even if you want to go into stocks / business) to have the rigor of a science-heavy curriculum like you might find in pre-med / first two years of Uni. It will keep your parents of your back and give you a chance to prepare (if need be) to cover your own education if they decide to cut you off once you bail on being a doctor. If you're not interested in the field,…

Do you have any good sources to start looking for a job or begin that? Only general advice: You're in an MBA program? They're doing you a disservice if they don't help you network / get you in touch with their alumni network. That's really one of the main purposes of getting an MBA - it's not what you know, it's who you know. It doesn't sound like you've availed yourself of too much of what is available in that regard, but it's not too late. Devote your remaining time at your program to networki…

1) Forget about the HB9. Yeah, she'll almost definitely leave you if you go back to Europe, but guess what, there's no guarantee she'll stick around if you stay, either. Abundance Mentality. Don't let her determine your life's course. 2) Finding a job is tough, especially when you have no experience. If you can leverage your scholastic soccer career into something with the MLS, that will be useful; most other industries could give a shit if you were a soccer star otherwise. So use what you've go…

I didn't even get past the first sentence and thought "You sound [south] asian". Confirmed. At 16, with Indian parents, you probably don't have a ton of options; unless you have some means to support yourself and go the nuke option of emancipation (if you're in the US), you're still living in someone else's house and eating someone else's food. If you're going to do the social media thing [no judgement], then keep doing it. Leave the pictures up, but post plenty of new things - this accomplishes the following: 1) Shows that you are still leading an active fun life and aren't dwelling on the past 2) When some chick FB-stalks you (Or Insta) - she can see the pictures of you with some (presumably attractive) girl which provides additional social proof 3) The attractive girl isn't showing up in your recent pictures, which prompts curiosity…

This is only partly for you, OP, but also for others reading (and learning) here: Your first (maybe second) mistake was in engaging / responding to the guy. With something like this, it's sort of like the Miranda "Anything you say can and will be used against you". It's literally a no-win situation to engage: If you're aggressive, you just escalate things, potentially egging a coward on to start shit. If you're passive, you're just a pussy [in his mind] and will prompt another round of abuse and…

The root of a lot of this derives from two things: 1) You're a virgin 2) Partly because of (1) and partly the cause of it: I'll start almost feeling bad for the girl, especially if she opened up to me that night. Like I feel we have a bond, and I think that if I escalate sexually it will be broken and I will have betrayed her trust. You're still pedestalizing women. Contemporary society shares some blame for this, but ultimately, you are in control of your thoughts. You are partway there by reco…

No, it actually doesn't, as /u/RedDeadCred said. The 'Plan B' (levonorgestrel)pill prevents implantation of the fertilized egg, which is why you have to take it soon after sex. Once the egg has implanted into the uterine wall, the Plan B won't help you. In this case, if the woman knows she's pregnant and it's weeks later, Plan B won't help you. There is the other option, RU-486 (Mifepristone) which actually can induce an abortion. Don't construe this as endorsement of the plan to 'put it in a pe…

I'm not sure where you're getting the 'one night stands' part. It could go either way. If you bring a girl back to your place, she's interested. She's not going to come over if she feels like a slut for doing so. Same thing if / after she sleeps with you. If she feels slutty for doing so, there's a greater chance for ASD to kick in and then she'll be embarrassed and potentially disappear. In light of everything else I've said, again, I don't understand where you make the leap to the PUA communit…

I don't think OP is advocating mimicking his lines & setup. It's an example of what worked for him. The PUA approach is to copy and parrot the lines. If you can read between the lines of the OP, apply those principles to something that works for you, then you're golden.

Just curious but what career are you referring to? (No need to answer OP) I'm going to go with Firefighter. He said "career that they fetishize" Pretty much every woman has a thing for that based on unrealistic ideals, i.e. fetish.

Girls don't have the honesty to say "I'm not interested" because they can't handle confrontation. (And in all fairness, there are plenty of pissy betas that get really bitchy from rejection; these guys have conditioned them to avoid confrontation). So they'll say "Maybe later" or in a date context "I'm busy tonight", etc. Read between the lines; I've had girls interested that were willing to drive 3 hours to get laid by me. And I've had girls that were too busy to take five minutes. Draw your ow…

Girl#1 - As others have said, if she's grinding on you, you're already halfway there. Telling you the guy next to you is cute is an obvious shit test to see how'd you react, and to see your interest. Girl #2 - Not such a great opener, and that was probably your high point. Asking her if you can stand and talk to her is, honestly, kind of pathetic. /u/AFPJ kind of says it all, but to reinforce that message: Move. "Hope for a second chance?" Are you kidding? If you're 'hoping' for anything with a girl, by definition, you've lost your frame. This is incipient oneitis. By now I hope you've encountered the term 'You can't negotiate desire' (if not, read the sidebar until you do). If she was into you, you'd know it by now. Write it off as a missed opportunity and learn from it.

Going back to the Matrix reference. No. If you've seen the movies; the point where Neo can start to see the code of the Matrix, see into it, and then alter how the world work - that's how I feel now. To make another analogy to the movie; I always had disparate ideas about how things worked. A suspicion that things were not as I was told. Not sure if by 'Live in a country', you mean you live in the country, as in not-the-city. If that is the case, go to the biggest city you can travel to - if you're in a Shengen country, you can travel almost anywhere in Europe. TRP is not a religion. Your job is not to convert the world. You want to help your friend? Be a strong example. When he's ready, he'll come to you. That's the only way it works. If he's BP, then by definition, he's not ready to hear this. Once everyone gets strong we have to focus our energy somewhere, if we don’t, we will kill each other... TRP is about being the best man you can be. If you have the attitude that it's a destination, then you're misguided at best. Complacency is the antithesis o…

It's cool to be there for your buddies, but don't be an emotional tampon for guys any more than you would a woman. Your reply to "Why didn't you answer" should be "I was doing something productive" Because you were doing something productive. Obv. if it comes to making plans, you shouldn't leave anyone hanging.

I think it follows the general "Don't shit where you eat" rule. That is, it's okay to fuck her as long as you recognize that you could be jeopardizing your place to stay. If that's an acceptable risk (i.e., you have other places to stay, etc.), then treat it just like any other girl and go ahead if it's what you want. If on the other hand you're in a foreign country or another state and have no where else to go, it may still be advisable, but consider the worst-case consequences so you're not ou…

In a negotiation, if the first offer is accepted, both parties will feel bad: The asker, because they'll feel like they should have asked for more if their offer was so easily accepted. The giver, because they'll feel like they offered too much, if their offer was so easily accepted. Start to see your feedback that way. Invert your relationship with it. Instead of seeing perfection as the goal, view it with suspicion. If there is nothing to improve in your creative work, you're not looking hard …

It's been said, but 1) absolutely you can't judge their personal lives by professional behavior. 2) Humans of all types exist on a bell- (or some other) curve. It's a spectrum. "I'm nicer than that asshole" is a good one I disagree with this. Don't get her started on the path of thinking you're "nice". Some people are saying to hire an attorney. Don't do that. Hire two attorneys. Yours & hers. If you insist on going down this path to marriage, do it the right way. If she has competent counsel representing her, that will go a long ways to help refute any future arguments (by either her or a court) about her being taken advantage of . If you start out by offering commitment, you've already lost the battle. You're no longer the prize, you're trying to tempt her with yesterday's leftovers. If you get to the point where she is asking / begging you for commitment, then when she gets it, she feels like she's won something rare that other women would have to fight for. Yes, you did dodge a bullet. At your stage of development of your frame & game, you should be careful not to get sucked into anything serious with a near- or post-wall woman. It sounds like you have some awareness of what you did wrong. That's half the battle. The other half is getting to that point of awareness right after you do it, and then, before you do it. Best of luck, but I think that ship has sailed. You've already established in her mind who you are. It's going to take work to change that impression. A lot of work, more than just reading some stuff on the internet and going back with a different approach. You need to change who you are. Both for yourself and in her eyes. tl;dr: Move on. Find some other girl(s). If you do that successfully, she will become intrigued and will come back to you.

Ignore it. It doesn't matter. You should be focused on getting new women. If they want your leftovers, let them have it. If they're disparaging you or showing disrespect, however, then drop them. Also, this old friend of your ex is probably trying to make a move for you by bringing this up to see what your reaction is / gauge if you still have feelings for your ex. Get on a beginner program like StrongLifts or Starting Strength and stay on it. For 6 months, don't worry about whether or not you're noticing any changes. There are two things going on: 1) It's a mild shit test to see if you reciprocate any interest in these other girls. America is not centre of the world, and English is also not everyone's first language. Nothing implies the above. If being precise and accurate in your writing makes someone a perfectionist asshole to you, then you have some deep-seated insecurities. And if you're going to communicate in another language, make a rudimentary effort to do it properly, otherwise, just write in your native language. Bide your time. Stay single. Believe me, in 4-5 years, your married friends will be insanely jealous of your disposable income, your freedom, and the much-hotter-girls you they will see you with. There's a fair majority here that says never marry. Be that what it may, at the very least, don't even consider marriage until you're 30+. You won't be lonely, and 75 is 50+ years away for you. To answer the question in the title: Yes. Absolutely. I've had two women approach me about doing it. One actually begged for it. Yet another LTR approached me about doing it later in the relationship. But your issues are not really about anal sex. Firstly, 'just going for it' isn't cool. You haven't really talked about the effect of his insecurity on you, but that's probably the crux of this matter. Fundamentally, you want to change him, and that just doesn't work. This is great advice. I would not 'wait' very long for a woman. I have a lot of options and if it is stretching out into multiple months, to me that speaks of an attempt at control and isn't something I would tolerate. That said, a good flirt would keep my attention a bit longer than otherwise because it indicates your interest and sincerity in wanting something more, but on a timeline that is more suited to you emotionally. It's all fun and games and sounds ideal, but a lot of men can't handle the dynamics of their woman making more (or all of the) money. What happened is that reality is setting in that he will be dependent on you and to him this feels emasculating. Ultimately, it's his problem to raise his game, but you can help him by reinforcing his masculinity and making sure he understands that you still see him as the captain and the head of the household. You are correct - I was using SMV as a proxy for calculating the status in the relationship. A breadwinner woman or one who is highly paid does not necessarily have a higher SMV, but within a relationship context, the dynamic is definitely affected by it with the one earning the majority of the money having a higher base status. (Which can be compensated by the other partner having a higher SMV) This actually works in reverse as well; if a man is a very high earner, typically a woman in a viable…

Right now, you have equilibrium in your relationship, with roughly matching SMVs. Once you start becoming the breadwinner, that balance will shift to you having the higher SMV. In order to keep things balanced, either you will end up lowering your SMV (inadvertently), or he needs to raise his. This is not absolute science, but something I learned and which I have seen played out in multiple real-life scenarios. As he goes through school, assuming nothing else changes, his SMV will naturally rise…

Your analogy implies his roommate is doing this on purpose and is trying to be an asshole. That's not the case. I'll write a more extensive post on this later, (and I didn't originate this theory) but relationships seek an equilibrium - if she is making more money now, the equilibrium is changed and will need to rebalance itself. There are basically three main elements: Money, Appearance, Personality. If her SMV is increased due to more money, you need to balance that. Your money situation is static, so you need to raise your SMV through one of the other two methods. If you're not already working out, sta…

One of the first things you should do is go get some male friends then. That's part of the problem right now is that she was/is your best friend, and you need a new one now. Or at least friends. If you don't, you run the risk of needing that emotional connection with the next girl you encounter and you'll end up in the same position again. Also, in your relationship, it wasn't healthy for you to not have strong friendships outside of her.

Decide what it is you want to get from this company / position. It's a truism that to increase your salary you need to switch companies. Sometimes(but rarely) that's not the case. So, if you care about money, prepare to move to a different company. If you want something else, stay and figure out how to leverage this into your next position. Just keep in mind the opportunity cost by staying there for two years (or more).

I'll add to this that in addition to the way you see a less attractive woman, she is also in competition with other women and probably realizes that she isn't the hottest one out there. This gives her a lower SMV relative to you. If you were much less attractive than her (in any of various ways, not just looks), you would find her instinctively playing some of those games.

I'm not going to accuse you of being some crazy dude in the woods, but I will contest your assertion that you're in a decidedly non-red pill relationship. Here's why: TRP, despite what you may have heard, isn't something a bunch of shitlord misogynists cooked up in their mom's basements. It's a reconciliation of worldview to reality. I'd go so far as to say that all successful male-female romantic relationships are red pill to some degree, however subtle. I'm willing to accept that yours could b…

I agree that it wasn't a shit test and that it was flirting. Part of flirting is demonstrating your value and increasing your appeal. One method of doing this is light teasing, which is what this was supposed to be. Stilted and awkward it may be, but I think it comes across as slightly cocky teasing, not an outright insult. Looking at possible responses to her posting of a bear with a caption implying he is stupid: 1) Self-deprecating agreement "Yeah, I am kind of stupid" - it plays out better i…

Appropriate, yes. Optimal, not really. This is why: When you say "No. It's none of your business", you're inviting a discussion of why it is her business. Naturally she will think it is, and now you're in a "No it isn't" "Yes it is" argument that will go nowhere. The nuance in this is that a simple "No." can actually work if you can't come up with a clever A&A response. Just a "No" period implies that it's the end of the discussion. If you watch Mad Men, think of how Don Draper would say it. Jus…

Not much else to add to this, but I would say if you see her and a friend, initiate with them both. That will help combat the pack mentality and her friend dragging her off. If you can get and keep them both engaged, then you're much less likely for her to face resistance from her friend

Most decent girls will at least make a show of wanting to pay. The best response to this is, "I'll get this one, you get the next" This does two things: You've dictated the terms to her and set her expectations up front while at the same time throwing her a small bone. It sets a good precedent; you're generous, but you're not a charity. She has to pull her weight. Since you're getting agreement up front by an implicit social contract, it's much more difficult for her to change her mind later or …

The difference between the two scenarios is subtle and already pointed out to some degree by others. An Alpha provides because he can, without expectation of anything in return; a King's largesse. A Beta is trying to trade money for sex or attraction. This sets up the quid pro quo of sex for things, and is a losing battle for a man. A woman has an (essentially) an endless supply of sex, and you will run out of money before she runs out of sex. Additionally, an alpha will neither cultivate nor to…

Wow, major shit-test from her. You get about 5/10. Things you did right: Didn't just give in when she asked. Left when she didn't want to take the phone. Things you fucked up: You shouldn't have asked why. It doesn't fuckin' matter why. There's no explanation she can give that makes it reasonable, so fuck her reasons. This is where Agree & Amplify would be useful. "Oh, you want to check my underwear too?" "Look under my mattress?" "My browser history" Make her realize how silly she's being. Tryi…

I don't think there is a tactful way, and really, you should ask yourself why you feel like it matters. It's pretty BP if you're insecure about something like that. (Unless it's a fetish and a positive thing for you, but that is also not something you can really find out directly without coming across the wrong way) However you feel about this, I'm pretty sure I won't change your mind, but I will ask you this: If it bothers you, what about it does so, and do you want to let your emotions be cont…

"Living well is the best revenge" - George Herbert It's natural for you to feel angry about the way things turned out, but heed that quote. The most satisfying thing will be to improve yourself, find better girls, look and dress better and have your ex-gf realize that you were the best she ever had. Direct your anger towards improving yourself. Instead of wanting to hurt her, picture running into her in a few months when you're with a way better looking girl and she's put on a few pounds and loo…

Very rarely. There is no need to. The betas provide emotional (and sometimes financial) support and validation. There is usually no shortage of alphas to take care of the actual fucking. In most cases, the betas are 'friend-zoned' early on, and there is little chance of sex happening. [Edit - better answer to the question] But you asked about 'cultivating' specifically. I use that term because it's not unlike a gardener or shepherd...women can use some mild Indicators of Interest, some eye conta…

Getting 'clenched up' in social situations is probably just a lack of experience. It's frightening because you're vulnerable in that situation. One of the things you can do is try to regularly put yourself outside of your comfort zone with these things. This will help you by making those types of situations less threatening. Some of the concrete ways you can apply this might be to look into some different avenues for this: Try an improv class - a great way to get out of your head and learn to li…

I think if anything, singing beta lyrics is an advantage - it speaks to the hamster mind that wants security, stability, commitment, and all things beta, and still allows your real presence to be strong and commanding, thus solving the paradox of her desires.

They've never had a strong male role model in their life, so they crave male attention. Outside of father figures, and at adolescence, they quickly learn that sex will bring male attention. The problem is that the attention is fleeting and is a quid-pro-quo situation, so, like any addict, they keep seeking it and finding that the validation is just never good enough. This leads to all sorts of pathological behaviors: attention-whoring, branch-swinging, cheating, etc., because they are always try…

♂ Thanks! That's a great perspective on it and kind of what I was thinking I would do. I texted her once more and I'm going to leave it at that and let her make the next move. The last time I did that she came around again. We've already kissed / made out pretty heavily, so if she comes back, I'll pick up where we left off.

Sounds like a good plan. Hey, as far as lessons go, it was pretty inexpensive. I can picture scenarios where your dad went ballistic and kicked you out of the house, so at least you'll have this experience in mind in case something similar happens in the future.

There is an expression, "Don't shit where you eat" that comes to mind. I get that it's kind of fun, especially since you didn't care to have sex with her, but looking at this situation, it could only have gone a couple of ways: 1) She rats you out to your dad (who actually sounds pretty cool about it) 2) She has sex with you, and then rats you out to your dad 3) She wants to have sex with you, is rejected, and then you really have problems. So...this was probably not a good place to engage in re…

At the end, she was very firm that she wasn't going to come over, and didn't want me coming in. I wasn't going to try to plead with her or anything. Things I think I did right: Didn't ask her if she wanted to come over, just said 'Let's go to my place' When it became apparent that she just wasn't going to do it, didn't chase after it. Truly didn't care if we had sex or not. Made the first move at the bar, didn't wait until the end of the night to try to kiss her. Things I could have done better:…

If possible, I would get a second opinion, preferably from a sports medicine doctor / one familiar with exercise physiology and the interaction with our particular condition. I don't know the specifics of your case, but it seems that rehab for your problem would involve strengthening your abdominal muscles. In the absence of a professional opinion, then the other advice about split routines, etc. is useful, and you can make some progress that way.

Wow...So much material here...to learn from... 1) Not all women are the same during sex, but most experienced girls won't 'just lay there' during missionary. At least, not if they're into it, which it seems she was. 2) The 'I have to work at 6am' thing is a shit test, especially if she said I should be sleeping. She wants you to convince her (not beg, though) 3) The way you left made it seem like you're mad that you didn't get sex, definitely a turn-off for women, and you just lose your frame. 4…
