People here obsess over these technicalities way too much because they think this is a science and not an art. Double texting in and of itself really doesn't matter that much.

Most of these responses are retarded. If I ask someone a question and they give me a smart ass comment as a response, I immediately write them off as someone who's too much of a pussy to say what they actually think. How about you just tell the truth.

This is not a series of technical hacks. Abundance. And then deal with it however you want.

Most of the girls you hook up with only want sex? Well there couldn't possibly be any sort of selection bias there.

Lol. A club slut with fake tits and a rape story? Got yourself a keeper there. You should make more threads about this rare and valuable specimen as she is clearly worth the effort.

Was thinking about building a social circle of moderate nerds and trying to draw on that. Social circle is going to beat cold approach 9/10 times anyway. I'm just older and it's much harder to do that now than it was in my teens.

I guess it's not just pure intelligence. I'm smart but nowhere near genius level. I'm not looking for hyper logical high IQ career woman, obviously. I am looking for someone who's smarter in the sense that the height of their intellectual achievements is not blabbering on social media, getting tattoos and going to the club on the weekends. I've met girls who were into politics (and not standard issue "dump blorpf" tier nonsense), had some hobby business online that they would work on, shit like …

The average attractivr girl on tinder has more male attention that she could possibly know what to do with. You think she'll even notice? Stupid stuff like waiting to respond to texts on purpose is just fake alpha BS and they can almost always see right thru it.
/r/askTRP28/01/19 01:42 PM

I don't always. But most girls want to meet pretty quickly. The ones that genuinely do want to talk a bit first are not just going to be peppering you with shit tests the whole time.

Honestly I do mostly want to do the latter I just can't get it up to room temperature iq tinder girls. I'd at least like to know I have the option to do the former.

In my experience the more mature LTR minded young girls are more willing to go for an older guy (with some exceptions). So it's not as big of a problem as you'd think. But once you're past 10 years you're kind of pushing it.

Well the way this one ended really wasn't specific to the situation at all so I'm not going to go into it. I will say that it was not in any way her fault and had nothing to do with her age. As far as age I would assume that if anything younger girls are probably more LTR worthy as the older ones are the ones that haven't been snatched up yet.

You really don't want to drag this out. If she's refusing sex more than once in a blue moon you should consider just ending the relationship. RP can be a disability when you use it to rationalize your futile attempts at "fixing" a situation that can't be fixed.
/r/askTRP28/01/19 06:00 AM

We were just very well matched. How I fucked it up is not really RP related. I wasn't "beta" or anything like that if that's what you were thinking.

Everyone sucks at texting. Stop doing it. Also I get that you're trying to be cocky / sarcastic but personally that's something I've scaled back on. It's not really edgy anymore now that every beta male on Reddit is doing it.

The biggest Chad I know will spend all day texting the faggiest lovey dovey shit with his Russian model girlfriend. It's beyond pukeworthy. It's not what you do, it's who you are, and I can tell from your post that you haven't internalized shit.

Not quite 10 years but when I was in my late 20s I met an 18 year old online and flew her out to move in with me a few months later. We lived together for about 2 years. It was a very serious LTR. Didn't work out but that was honestly 100% my fault, when we were together it was just as natural and effortless as any relationship I've ever had. Actually more so.

You've got to be able to talk to people to a point. "Justbeurselfdude" doesn't always work so simply. Just don't overcompensate. You're not going to go from introvert to party animal, most likely.

You can't make jokes like that over text. They don't come through that way. She probably thought you were trying to get all existential or some shit. If you're using tinder or anything like that, let her carry the convo if she wants to talk BS, your part should be to escalate.
/r/askTRP25/05/18 03:29 PM

They might. They might not. If one rejects you, there is an element of negative social proof going on. I'm just saying it's almost always less of an issue than you think. Your success is 99% a result of how you feel, not how you think others should/might feel.

I would never LTR a girl who would be so closed off. Shit, I wouldn't LTR a girl who didn't offer up her phone and social media passwords on her own to prove her loyalty. You know how sometimes it's cheaper to buy a new car than to fix the old one?

She can decide what to do then based on your frame, but you have to set it. You do communicate you were uncomfortable with it, but only after the act. Aren't we saying the same thing then? You're saying you have to "set your frame". If you haven't already done this from day one, you've already fucked up, and trying to do so as a retaliation against her actions is often very transparent. I don't disagree with you necessarily. My point is just that taking these tactics too literally while missing …

There's nothing wrong with having/wanting an LTR. It's just that to adopt the right mindset you can't make finding "the one" your primary goal in life and you damn sure can't put yourself in a position to catch oneitis. Setting out to find an LTR is risky in that sense. There's a certain level of cynicism around here that while sometimes is a bit over the top is mostly justified. Being a player for a while will put you in a much better position to actually have a successful LTR some day. RP is 9…

What are you trying to accomplish? If you want to rack up quick fucks and do the bar/club scene you probably should work on becoming more extroverted. But the general rule is to be yourself. Just be the best version of yourself that you can. I'm very quiet and introverted. Never been a problem. Actually the biggest problem I've had is overcompensating by trying to be an extrovert and coming across as fake/phony.

I think you're too focused on looking and sounding glamorous based on your posts. You're thinking about the external when you should be thinking about the internal. It's all in your head. I did better with women when I was broke with no car than when I made 160k a year in my early 20s.

I've known one that was LTR worthy... And unicorn that she was to be quite honest I still had my doubts, 50/50 she was lying. Great girl though. Never met another one like her. The only other one Ive known in her 20s was probably the most manipulative, self centered and high maintenance cunt I've ever known. The type of person who would just suck the life out of you. Even the religious chicks are sluts.

Having muscles is not the entire point of lifting. Look at it this way. If you don't have the discipline to lift, how are you going to have the discipline to face the modern sexual marketplace and not only get by but thrive? Answer: you're not. This shit is not easy. If nothing else, bare minimum, it'll get you off of your ass and into the mindset of "I need to put in work to improve myself". And to be honest, I'd be shocked if you didn't feel and look better after doing it for a while. I have a…

/r/askTRP24/05/18 01:34 AM

Absolutely. I don't disagree with you one bit. Unfortunately, holding onto something like that is simply not feasible in this day and age. Virgins do exist but they're rare and scarcity leads to oneitis. I wouldn't go down that road. Done it before.

Dude, you told her she didn't have to be exclusive. Why the fuck do you care? I mean it sounds to me like you're talking about nexting her solely because you think it's the "alpha" thing to do, not because you actually give a shit. That's stupid. You fucked up because if you wanted to be exclusive you could have done so earlier. Now if you do it as a reaction to her behavior, you've completely lost frame. What's your question? You know what to do, you just need to do it. One thing that's motivated me in the past is to think "what did I accomplish today?" at the end of every day, or the next day. Feels much better to be able to answer that question. I always felt like shit after a day/night of doing nothing productive. Maybe even write it down? You'll figure something out.
/r/askTRP24/05/18 01:01 AM

After we broke up, I felt like I was no valuable. But in an external way, because in the internal way I know I'm a cool dude who can get a few girls, Also I lift every day (I got a noticeable cut body) and I'm about to get my engineer degree next year. But the external way tells me that if someone left you, It's because you're crap. (The concept I have about myself is fucking me up) Everything is internal. Just give it some time, you'll get over it.

My first oneitis got fat, had a kid with a beta, and is now roughly 30 and has made little intellectual, financial or any type of progress since we broke it off at about 16. She was extremely low quality from day one, I don't know what the fuck I was thinking. She emailed me a few years back, I ignored it of course.

And let me add one thing. Not all boundaries NEED to be verbally communicated. Obviously, if you're in an LTR, you shouldn't need to tell your GF not to fuck anyone else. I think many of my detractors ITT are just saying that if you're a high value male, you won't need to set a lot of these boundaries as they will be implied. Which is definitely true. And to be quite honest, it's more important to be a high value male than to set boundaries. In that sense, my detractors are more correct than I a…

Bullshit. If you have to say to your girl "You can't go have lunch with another man" then she's not fit for you, or you failed at setting high expectations. In this example, maybe, because this is one of the obvious boundaries that should be implied from day one. That doesn't mean you should never verbally set a boundary. "don't hang out with dude 1 to 1" literally translates as... "I'm worried you're gonna leave me, please don't". So you would dump her for hanging out with a dude, which transla…

That's ridiculous. You're not in a position of strength if you can't walk away. If you can walk away, you're in a position of strength. It's not weak to demand what you want, and next her if she doesn't give it to you.
/r/askTRP23/05/18 05:18 PM

I think making verbal and non-verbal mutually exclusive is where most people get this wrong. They don't have to be. You are correct in that setting purely verbal boundaries, that you can not back up with your actions, is beta. But setting purely non-verbal boundaries is confusing and has an element of passive aggressiveness to it. To me, not verbally setting a boundary because you fear it's going to make you look beta is beta in itself. You need to do both - or just not set boundaries at all. Ed…

I've read it more than once. If you can't tell me why I'm wrong, I'm just going to disregard your comments and OP likely should too. But I would prefer to hear why I'm wrong. My premise is that 1. there's nothing wrong with boundaries if set from a position of strength and 2. boundaries should be set clearly. Pretty simple stuff and should be easy to refute.

I guess I just see around a lot on the main sub that somehow that sort of boundary should just be implied and thats how you know theyre worth your time or not. Well, there are implied boundaries. It really is situational. I prefer to cut out the BS and just be clear about what I want to avoid the ambiguity later. Also, some boundaries, depending on the when and how, can make you appear beta, if you approach them with a beta mindset. This is an easy trap to fall into. Another question, if she end…

That's my point though. If you're going to set boundaries, the only way to do it is to just do it. There's no "trick" that's going to allow you to set boundaries while pretending you're too cool to set boundaries. If it makes the question easier, what would you do if she was a fwb and not a plate? What I would do may or may not be relevant. For an LTR I only deal with extremely submissive types and I do quite a bit of pre-selection, because for me, these types of boundaries are an absolute requi…

Well, there's nothing wrong with setting boundaries, and the only way to set boundaries is to actually set them, clearly. I just feel the idea of saying "dont hang with other guys or else..." is a weak way to say things as it would come off as a threat/insecurity. Weak is how you think, not what you say. If i gave a fuck i might say something but i dont. If she ever did that id just hard next and go back to plating. Doesnt bother me. I'm just asking for the knowledge of it out of curiosity. If y…

I feel if I say it outright it'd come off in a weak way, like a threat or somethin. Then you have a deeper underlying problem. You're obviously weak, or at least you see yourself as weak. If you want something from her, fucking tell her. She's your LTR. There is nothing beta about setting boundaries. Also, should boundaries be set verbally or non-verbally? Verbally, always.

No silver bullet here that I'm aware of, but I am not in your shoes. Obviously you've got to overcompensate for the SMV hit some other way, which I'm sure you're aware of. The only other thing I would say is maybe try to build up a larger white social circle. Being seen with a white crowd on a regular basis will definitely reduce those default inhibitions. Plus as the token black guy you'll stand out to some degree without even having to do anything, which is usually a positive.

It's not an issue of having your cake and eating it too or being greedy. It's how you're going about it. The soft next is passive aggressive if you use it to punish her. That's not the point of the soft next. You realize that you ARE trying to set boundaries, right? Just because you're not verbalizing it doesn't make it any better. It makes it worse if anything. Telling her not to fuck other guys is losing frame, but giving her the silent treatment because she fucked another guy is not? And don'…

It depends on your approach, your relationship and her personality. If this is a plate, why do you care anyway? You've already won in the sense that she did this to get back at you and as far as she knows, it had no effect. She did it for nothing. She's already been punished. There's nothing inherently wrong with boundaries such as "fuck someone else and we're done" as long as you're not trying to assert control from a position of weakness. But it's difficult, in this type of relationship there'…

That's probably what I would have said. Don't pull back on the dread. Do both at once. There's nothing wrong with telling your girl you like her. I've done this before. Say X to appeal to rationality, but show Y through actions to keep them hooked emotionally. Can work wonders if done properly. She is likely trying to logically justify sticking around, meaning you're succeeding with the emotional (the harder) part. But don't get complacent yet. Edit: This is important. Should I say no even when someone is offering to smoke a joint with me for free? Is this a serious question? Stop using. As in stop. As in do not use. Honestly I think you need more help than asktrp can provide.

Yeah, the existence of this post speaks volumes more than any of the details of the story.

You did some things right, and some wrong. I give you a C-. Edit: I'm changing that to a D. You should definitely not have backtracked. Prepare for more shit tests and don't fuck it up again. On the plus side, you did a pretty good job of identifying your mistakes. So it's just a question of controlling yourself.

Her friends came to me the day after saying how she does not want to pursue another relationship because she does not like long distance relationships and doesn't want her heart broken again. That is horse shit. I'm definitely over-thinking this because it's my first exposure to girls (I've been friends with girls but never done anything with them). Stop.

Agree and amplify is for minor shit tests from females. I would ignore but most importantly do NOT let it affect your mood, at all. Guy sounds like an unprofessional child. Know you're better than him, really know it, and it'll roll off of you. Play your cards right and he'll look like an idiot without you having to do anything. The biggest reaction you should ever have to something like this is a smirk and an "uh huh". If even that.

Extremely.

I got more pussy when I was 16, broke and riding the bus than I did throughout most of my 20s.

If you don't want to be involved with that, don't. I don't think there's anything as beta as putting the amount of effort, time and money that drug users and "party people" do into escaping their reality for a few hours. Going to party is a tool, not an obligation. You don't need to be a partier to be RP, although it can be a useful tool, depending on your goals. Focus on achieving your goals and you won't need to ask this question as the necessary tools will become apparent.

It seems like TRP says that this is an ideal scenario and that I should be proud I got laid but none of that shit makes sense to me. I want a relationship, not a bunch of meaningless sex. If one night stands don't make you happy, don't do them. It's as simple as that. You don't need anyone's approval here. There's a ton of good information here but if you're taking it too literally you're missing the point entirely. Keep reading and learning and when you realize what RP is really about you won't…
/r/askTRP23/05/18 12:15 AM

Being RP is not what you do, it's how you think. Being a drug addled partier is not very alpha, IMO. At all. Although I suppose it could provide social benefits. It could also hold you back.

I had one exactly like this. GET OUT NOW.
/r/askTRP21/05/18 05:04 PM

Exactly. There is no substitute for actually not giving a fuck. Sounds like you handled it just fine, but I would lay off of the mind altering substances.

You're not even together and she's already stepping on your dick? Next.

The rare exception does not disprove the rule. Not to mention, if you genuinely had moved on mentally, you probably had the right attitude. There's nothing inherently wrong with talking things out, it's just that most guys can't do that without being manipulated or acting beta.

Drugs are bad.
/r/askTRP21/05/18 11:55 AM

Basically. I've always had a tendency RP advice too literally but over time I've come to the conclusion that you can do pretty much anything and still be alpha, as long as you do it in an alpha way. It's just that some things are harder to do in an alpha way than others.
/r/askTRP21/05/18 11:48 AM

Why not leave and search for Chad instead of doing it while in a relationship? Why not have your cake and eat it too?
/r/askTRP21/05/18 11:44 AM

Loner here. I work much better alone. Like a lot of things RP, it's not the thing that matters, it's what the thing tends to correspond with, or how it affects you subconsciously. Correlation, or indirect causation, not direct causation. Make sense?
/r/askTRP21/05/18 11:40 AM

Why?

She seems like an absolute bottom of the barrel piece of shit. You got off easy getting dumped though. Just think, someone will probably marry this girl someday. Good thing she wasn't just slightly better, or you'd still be with her. Men's ability to ignore red flags never ceases to amaze me. Not a personal attack, I've done the same thing more than once. I decided a while ago though that any drug use whatsoever, past or present, was an immediate disqualifier. I don't think I've ever been screwe…
/r/TheRedPill21/05/18 11:25 AM

Agreed. I've experienced both of these things myself.

I have a very similar story. Again, I'm not looking for unicorns here.

Nothing wrong with that, just something you have to work on. I was painfully shy as a kid. Still something I deal with in my 30s here and there.

Don't be.

So this is a non question. She's initiating contact late at night, clearly she wants you to put it in her pooper.

Fucking average hoes is easy but I can't stand most of them for more than about a week and the constant turnover gets tiring. Easy wasn't the right word, I'm looking more for a higher return on investment. Ideally I'd like to keep say 3 in rotation, but with relatively low turnover. It's not so much the intellect as that in my experience these girls tend to be more submissive, eager to please, reliable and just generally pleasant to be around. It probably has as much to do with my personality as…

she says we can't hook up anymore because she doesn't want anything serious and just chill. LOL. Isn't that kind of like the "bitch you ugly anyway". Why are you listening what a woman says?
/r/askTRP20/05/18 09:03 PM

Again this is not some roundabout way of finding a unicorn. I just prefer this type of personality.

There's this girl Stopped reading.

Nothing, honestly. I just woke up one day and decided to stop being a pussy piece of shit.

I'm under no illusion that they are anything but sluts. Just slightly higher quality sluts.
/r/askTRP20/05/18 08:32 PM

Everyone does this at some point, to some degree. What I am NOT doing anymore is spending extended periods of time doing this.
/r/askTRP20/05/18 08:19 PM

Yes AWALT most definitely does apply, I've been through it myself with these types of girls, but in my experience there's definitely a range of quality, it's not black and white. I would rather have a small handful of these girls than a bunch of low IQ club sluts. Good point about lifting, something I have been doing for a while now. Any pointers on how to locate these types of girls? Been doing okay online but I spend a lot of time wading through crap.

Answer is also pretty straightforward. No.

I think the point of this is more not to let other people affect your mood. Be consistent. Being upbeat is fine. Being upbeat because you're ecstatic at receiving female attention is a different story, and most people will be able to read the difference.
/r/askTRP20/05/18 08:09 PM
2

If you're going out socially, you're not "alone". The only difference is you're around people you don't know rather than people you do. Are you shy? You've probably just got to work on getting more comfortable with people in general, you'll feel less alone even around strangers and it'll come naturally.

I was never an incel, but I have spent periods of time wallowing in my own misery and overthinking things. Most of the successful people I know, in all contexts, are not particularly smart/handsome/whatever. The difference between them and others is that they wake up every morning and get out and do shit, even when it is stupid or unrealistic.
/r/askTRP20/05/18 07:55 PM

You don't even need to drop her outright. Work on some abundance mentality and watch things fall into place.
/r/askTRP20/05/18 07:52 PM

Do you guys think this is a dick move? Sounds like she's been stepping on your dick for 5 years, so who fucking cares? You're sitting here worrying about her feelings. You're not happy. Go get happy. You're making this about her when it should be about you.
/r/askTRP20/05/18 07:48 PM

Yet, a simple picture with a vauge caption is "social proof" but isn't forthcoming about what happened (doesn't seem like it matters if its just a pic with friendzoned chicks but like who os going to ask about it anyway? should a person give a shit? or not at all?) Most women will be able to tell if you're in the friend zone just by glancing at said picture.

First oneitis. Got her by being naturally alpha, lost her by being beta. I still cringe thinking back.
