Due to being busy with plates and work the past month, I had not met up with my main plate for a couple weeks and had flaked on 2 meet ups last minute. I also said I couldn't to 4 other invitations over the 2 weeks and told her "maybe another time." I recently found out this plate had sex with someone else 2 weeks ago on a night out after I flaked last minute and ignored her calls. I acted indifferent in person although it hit my ego a bit, since I'm the only one she's had sex with the past 6 months. I understand she's not mine and it's just my turn which has been a fun turn.

My friend is dating her best friend so he basically showed me the conversation between my plate and her friend. She did it out of spite to try to get over me, the guy's SMV is lower than mine, guy asked her out and she said no, regrets it and feels gross. She also told the friend she'd wish I'd want to date her because she'd be the best girlfriend to me lol. I believe in AWALT so this is pretty funny to me.

My question: Is there anyway to punish her for doing this? She has been loyal to me although I always tell her this is temporary and I expect her to date others, because how else is she going to find "the one". I want to show her through my actions that when she does this there will be a consequence.

What I was going to do was soft next her for about 2-3 weeks depending on her messages during the soft next, but I don't want to come off as controlling. I would never say "Fuck another guy and we're done."

TL;DR Main plate had a one night stand with another guy. Is there anyway to punish her for this in order to train her consequences come with this behaviour? I was planning on soft nexting for 2-3 weeks.
