Don't you feel like people will walk all over you or treat you as a pushover if you're vulnerable though? How do you deal with that? Also, have you seen a change in your life from your new perspective? Lastly, I just finished the TED talk. It was great, but I'd still like your opinion.

Counting your blessings helps. Be grateful for whatever you have in your life already and intentionally think about them daily. Not taking the awesome aspects of your life for granted, actively disregarding negative cycles of thought, and mindfulness meditation have helped me feel a lot better about life.

I feel you and can understand what you mean. But I think you can show off a sense of humor and personality without being silly or acting like someone you're not and still attract women. Not every woman likes loud-mouthed, silly people. But they do like confident, approachable people. If you can find some way to express those two attributes I think you'll be all set.

What's the difference between the hero and the coward? There ain't no difference. They both feel exactly the same on the inside: they both fear dying and getting hurt. It's what the hero does that makes him a hero. And what the other doesn't do, makes him a coward.

This explanation really speaks to me. Oftentimes, I feel like I don't measure up in comparison to other people. This thought pervades my mind, which makes me work on my skill sets even harder. I find it hard to believe that perhaps I am going down the wrong path by doing this, but you do make a point that I will have to consider as I do so. That is, what I am getting from you is that we are all just men. We are flawed, non-perfect beings, and we should accept this.

The way to make new friends is to talk to as many people as possible. Are you in school? I made a lot of new friends last semester by just talking to people at the gym and in my classes that I would see all the time. It is a filtering process as well, you won't find things in common with everyone you meet, but there will be those who you will. Just like with girls, you need to get out of your comfort zone and meet people in order to gain new relationships. Just my two cents, good luck! I'm an in…

Focusing on yourself is NEVER a bad idea if you feel like there are things you need to improve upon. If you feel like you need a break, take a break. That's my two cents.

An alpha male is the dominant male in a particular group of people. Why is this important? Because from an evolutionary perspective, woman seek mates who display the qualities of an alpha male, as this man will likely increase the survival odds of their offspring, by being able to protect the child, feed the child, and teach the child to in turn protect and feed themselves. More so, as they are in charge of or highly placed in their social group, everybody else respects them, and will try to hel…

Do you have any good dance tutorials for average club music that focuses more on the upper body? You've mentioned popping, are there any tutorials you can recommend? I mainly enjoy electronic music too and popping is really good for that. Also incorporating moves from all different styles into your dancing makes your dancing unique. Main inspirations for me are Michael Jackson, Usher, The Charleston, Bboy toprock, Justin Timberlake, and various animation and popping dancers. This right here is t…

Okay here is what is working for me. 1) Not necessary but it helps: have a couple of drinks before you hit the club. It will calm your nerves... but what works even better is... 2) Learning how to dance. You don't have to sneak up on girls like dbag college dudes. If girls can see that you can dance they will accept you into their crowd and eventually you'll be able to dance with some of them. Other girls will see you dancing with them and your value will shoot through the roof. Other guys will …

Well said. I agree with your philosophy of being an awesome person and attracting people that way. It seems like the only path to take. Though, I do disagree with one statement you made. They sell an overexaggerated “confidence” that translates in the real world to being an offensive douchebag. The Simple Pickup guys are the worst at this, but you see it everywhere. What's wrong with Simple Pickup? I don't think they are over-exaggerating. One of the guys, Jesse, used to suffer from severe socia…

Depends on the library. Some libraries allow speaking outside of designated study areas. You just have to find one that does. Even if there isn't a library like that around you, you're basically taking 5 minutes out of a girls study time. 5 minutes. I don't think she'd be SO bothered by you to the point of offense. That said, you can probably still approach girls who are in hardcore study mode.

University library. You're generally looking at the 18-25 crowd there. I see tons of girls by themselves at the university library near my place.

Try browsing the club stations on Pandora. I feel pretty much the same as you do, but I also find that if I get familiar with music, songs I don't necessarily like, they tend to grow on me. When I hear them in the club they are much easier to dance to and it's also a much more enjoyable experience.

It's easy for a weak person to be fair, because they have no choice (they'll get their ass kicked if they're not fair to others). Very good point. I've been there, and am stronger now and feel stronger everyday. I think I can empathize with those who remind me of the former me, so I try to be fair to them whenever the situation arises.

but I think the western world is actually at a point now (unfortunately) where not having an account is bad to employability and social value. I deleted my facebook and life has improved. If your qualifications are good enough, I don't think your employer is going to give two fucks about whether or not you have a facebook. And people who think that facebook is an important facet of "social value" don't have their priorities in order.

I've been training my facial muscles on the daily for about 4 days now. Seems to be helping lol. I just do reps of smiles and raised eyebrows. I think if you smile more often, the smiles come easier and don't necessarily feel "foreign," as opposed to never smiling and then feeling weird about it when you do end up smiling.

/r/seduction15/04/14 05:10 AM

It will be weird. You're new at it, of course it will be. Just imagine your friends rooting you on. Think about someone you idolize. What would he do? Would he bitch out or face the challenge? All it takes is courage, and life is better lived courageously imo. The coward and hero are both afraid. The difference between them is that the hero faces his fear and the coward does not. Don't be a coward.

Nice write up man. Once I start working I'm going to start taking piano lessons and write my own music, and also learn how to be a better dancer. I'm already dancing daily. Good luck on the rest of your journey.

Good luck man! Gotta have the guts to get the glory! Just think about someone you idolize whispering in your ear..."Don't be a little bitch, Syael. CMON. DO IT, CHICKEN FUCKER!!!" That's what I do. And think about your friends backing you up. Imagine them in a little cheerleading section rooting you on. Yeah, they've got your back, through thick and thin. And lastly, think about how good it will feel once you're done doing it. You'll feel like the man, the man; that my friend, is one of the grea…

it's important to practice everyday and it is for the betterment of life Do you want a better life or do you want to continue the relatively shitty one you are living now? That should be all the motivation you need. The girls you approach and speak to are not going to be heart broken over a stranger, and if they do become heart broken, it won't be for very long.

It's important to adopt the mindset of not fearing rejection. Rejection is and should be a tool to help you not end up in a relationship with someone that doesn't match you or doesn't live up to your standard. Welcome and embrace it. This is probably my biggest problem in life. I fear rejection, not just with girls, with everyone. It's a fucking plague in my mind. It's also a big part of social anxiety, which I am overcoming. I've made leaps and bounds in terms of progress with that. I've been i…

Yeah, true that. I have thought that getting my own shit together is the best path to success with girls, and just generally speaking for a long time. I've only just recently started to take the philosophy seriously though. I'm glad someone thinks the same way I do. And I agree that women, like some other species, can smell the beta fear on you. And that, in and of itself, makes me fearful lol.

Also, being "creepy" depends completely on how attractive you are. Two guys of differing physical attractiveness can do/say the exact same thing with one banging the girl in half and hour and the other getting a hysterical "Get away from me!" So what can you do to become attractive? Hit the gym and lift weights. I'm pretty good looking. At least my mom and grandma say so. As for picking up girls in the library, it's tricky since you cannot talk very loudly or at all. One thing you can do is pass…

Focus on studies. Check. Hit the gym. Check. Eat healthy. Check. Have hobbies. Check. Stay hygienic. Check. Be awkward as fuck despite all this. Aha strange girls is just an old expression. They are strangers, in fact. So, I haven't gone up to girls in years. Actually, that's an understatement. I haven't gone up to girls, EVER. All my hookups and girlfriends have been girls I knew through friends or whatever. So I was a nervous wreck walking in(to the library). I found a pair of sorority chicks. One was a 10, the other one a solid 7. Took me ten minutes to finally build up the courage to approach them, but I did with the sole purpose of …

I don't think it's a matter of ignorance Eh, I would disagree with this statement. She is ignorant of how the human mind works. If she were not, she would have been able to empathize with his situation through understanding and thus, not feel repulsed every time his good mood diminished. To me, this is the perfect example of the false idea that boys aren't supposed to cry. It's an extremely antiquated form of thinking and perhaps even affects /u/psiho333's ex-gf on a subconscious level. just lik…

Wtf? She felt repulsed by you because you were showing natural human emotions in front of someone you loved and trusted? And this was during a SIX year relationship? I can understand girls finding it repulsive or weird when having to interact with a guy they barely know who is anxious or desperate... but a long term gf? Does she think all men aren't supposed to cry, or feel depressed, or show emotion? Unless you were extremely needy, to me, this seems very ignorant on her part. I don't think thi…
