It has been brought to my attention that an easy way to approach a girl is to just ask her some trivial question and if she replies you tell her you just wanted to talk to her because you think she is cute.

So following this method, let's say we get to talking. I start asking her what she's majoring in, where shes from, if she plays sports, whatever etc.

Well here is where my idea comes in, maybe it's obvious to do this, maybe not. I am an EMT in training, and during patient assessments we have to check for mental orientation. If they don't answer all the questions correctly, we know that there is potentially something wrong with them. This is a set of four questions seeing if the patient knows things like who the president is, what state they're in, what the date is etc.

Well I was thinking that I could implement this into the questioning with girls as somewhat of a joke. I would start off with the serious questions, then as she's answering me, I go into questions like, "Who's the president?" "What state are we in?" "How many fingers am I holding up?" Then when she starts giggling or whatever you reply "Just making sure you're not crazy ;)"

Is this just stupid and offensive as hell or do you actually think it would get a laugh?
