What are you learning right now? How are you trying to improve yourself? Thanks. I had a good monday yesterday (really good in fact). Going to make Tuesday even better than yesterday! One day at a time. | /r/seduction | 26/06/12 12:21 PM
Should I give up, Seddit?Just know that what works for someone else may not work for you. Also know that you ARE in control of your feelings. It takes practice being able to recognize when you feel something you don't want to feel and then feeling different. This laughing technique helped me get started in being able to recognize when I was feeling something I didn't want to feel. | /r/seduction | 25/06/12 04:53 PM
I'm in a slump. What can I do to immediately make my life more interesting? This kind of blew my mind because I'd kind of noticed it, but never really paid attention until you put it so plainly in black and white. Facebook is really the highlights of the posters. | /r/seduction | 25/06/12 03:39 PM
What are you learning right now? How are you trying to improve yourself?I'm learning that if I don't go to seddit for an extended period of time (couple weeks or more). Then I almost completely relapse. I think it's because I have 10+ years of bad habits and it's going to take a really long time to recalibrate myself to how and who I want to be. | /r/seduction | 25/06/12 01:51 PM
Should I give up, Seddit? This is a good mindset. I'm going to try this today (already not off to a good start). | /r/seduction | 25/06/12 01:12 PM
Should I give up, Seddit? It took me a long time time to recalculate my feelings when I had feelings like the ones you are describing. I dont decide to feel like shit Actually, in a way you do. We all have "kneejerk reaction feelings" to events, but once you realize that you generate your feelings from within, it becomes easier to recognize negative feelings and "recalculate" them into positive feelings. I'm getting better at doing the recalculating on the fly, but before what helped me was recognizing when I felt like s… | /r/seduction | 25/06/12 01:11 PM
Seddit. Let's talk social intelligenceI'd agree with that quote. I just started initiating conversations. I'm getting better at noting tone and body language too, if the person isn't up for a conversation I'll usually just move on rather than press the issue making them even more uncomfortable. | /r/seduction | 01/06/12 04:21 PM
Seddit. Let's talk social intelligenceI've been experimenting with threading, and also just being friendly in general. I was at a boxing class for the first time last night, and when I found a 1 on 1 moment, or even with a few people, I would just introduce myself. "Hi, I'm Ryan." Suprisingly that was all the ice breaker that was needed for most conversations. One guy actually said to me that he's been coming to the class for months and this was the first time anyone introduced themselves to him. He said most people seemed to be doi… | /r/seduction | 01/06/12 02:46 PM
Seddit. Let's talk social intelligenceI saw a post once that expaned on the why, and instead the poster prefered to ask what, instead of why, because some might take the why question as too intrusive. Where if someone responds with, "I'm good today", you can then ask "What makes today a good day for you?". To some this feels more natural and less invasive than "Why is today a good day for you?" Both convey the same question, but to some, it just feels different. To each his own I suppose. Do what you feel comfortable with! | /r/seduction | 01/06/12 02:41 PM
20 Things I Should Have Known at 20HAHA! I'm going to leave that typo there forever. It's one of my better ones! If I do find some though, I'm make sure they have some +charisma or something on them too. | /r/seduction | 01/06/12 02:28 PM
20 Things I Should Have Known at 20I bought a rubix cube and taught myself, and memorized the algorithms for solving it. Took me practicing every day for 6 weeks, but now I can solve one at will from memory, usually under 3 minutes. I solve it when I arrive at work, before I leave. It's a really great satisfying little tool I use to give me accomplishment boots boost. Plus it's a cool party trick. | /r/seduction | 01/06/12 01:58 PM
any tips just before i leave?Stupid work and office... so I'm stuck reading this. But in 4 hours, the world is MINE. | /r/seduction | 25/05/12 03:52 PM
How To Pick Up Girls: The Success FactorWhat timer application are you using. I found a couple reminder apps on the Google Play Store I'm going to try out. But figured I'd ask and see if there is one you prefer over the other. | /r/seduction | 23/05/12 06:32 PM
Why "Be Yourself" is the Best AdviceNo Fear in the Now | /r/seduction | 17/05/12 05:04 PM
Why "Be Yourself" is the Best AdviceThat's what was so powerful to me from this video. The realization that I was living inside my head more than in the real world. Completely rocked my world down to my foundation and beyond. I would agree, that living in the now has become a foreign concept in our society and most people struggle with the thought of their imaginary world becoming their reality. Focus on your reality... being reality and you'll stop living in your mind, in your imaginary world. It's a tough habit to break and I'm … | /r/seduction | 17/05/12 04:53 PM
Why "Be Yourself" is the Best AdviceThis might get buried for joining in so late, but if you like this video in relation to your post maybe you could edit it in to share it with others. You stated: Anxiety exsists in your head. I couldn't agree with you more. I saw this video a few weeks ago and it resonated something in me to the core on a simplistically logical level. No Fear in the Now I try to watch this video every day. It's only 1m 37s so sometimes I watch it a few times so I can completely take in it's message. I hope you l… | /r/seduction | 17/05/12 04:11 PM
[Xpost] Inspirational video about willpower and extreme self-improvement"If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything." I love that phrase, and really fits the bill with this video. DDP helped him get started by believing in him, but he even said it himself, he began to believe... And when you believe in yourself, powerful things happen. Posted this to my facebook account because I love sharing stories like this. Makes me feel more "human" and that I can do it too, because I believe in myself. | /r/seduction | 15/05/12 04:25 PM
Girl here: Guy seems interested but then cancels plan last minute. Confused now :(I wouldn't make too much out of it. Sometimes last minute shit comes up. That excuse sounds legit and it's happened to me before. Reschedule and see if he's down for it. If he's not, I wouldn't fret too much because he's probably not worth it then. | /r/seduction | 13/05/12 09:21 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceThanks! I'm going to start running in the morning, and then when I get back, maybe try it. Although I run without music, just the sounds of my feet, my breath and nature. Feels good man. I don't know if I have the current mindset yet to try it first thing without doing something first, even if I am sitting upright so as not to fall asleep. But we'll see where this progresses over the next few weeks. | /r/seduction | 11/05/12 07:05 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceCompletely agree. I've also actively been trying to learn how to meditate since I came across all this information last week. Been practicing every day. Still don't have the hang of it yet. But I think I'm getting better, I do feel calmer than even a few weeks ago. | /r/seduction | 11/05/12 12:37 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceThe only advice I can give you is something I wish I would have believed at the time (even though I heard it all the time) and that is not to care what people think. It's REALLY hard to grasp when you don't have the experience to back it up. You will learn that nobody really gives a shit, so all the self-judgment you put on yourself is maybe 5% of what everyone around you is actually thinking, maybe even less. And even if what you think about yourself people around you are actually thinking... w… | /r/seduction | 11/05/12 12:34 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceI can see that. It's probably not a collection of events around our lives while growing up, but perhaps we extrapolated from said events into something our own. | /r/seduction | 11/05/12 12:30 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceWhile I see your point, and agree to some extent, what I mean is that while you think the conscious mind is riding the wave of the unconscious I believe the conscious mind is stearing, directing, re-calculating what the unconscious mind produces. So while we may have unconscious emotions and thoughts, almost like instinct and impulse, I believe we can "course-correct" those initial unconcious thought processes to have more control of how we think and feel. | /r/seduction | 11/05/12 12:26 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceCouldn't agree more. | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 08:09 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceI should clarify, the "rage outs" or whatever I have aren't long term anymore. I used to get really upset when I was in my teens. Now, it may be a simlar outburst to you, I might have more anger behind it initially, but it usually disipates after a few seconds and then I realize it's just a game and it's silly for me to get angry at a game. 99% of the time playing is fun and enjoyable. I always make fun of douche's that can't drive. ALWAYS. I never get mad at them anymore. | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 08:09 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceOh cool. I will definitely be looking into all of that then. Can't wait! | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 07:05 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceTHIS is how I want to be when playing video games, but I haven't learned how yet. However, with friends in a public setting, playing a board game or something, I usually don't get upset. I'm able to laugh it off when I blow a round, or roll shitty dice or whatever the game requires. It only seems when I'm by myself that I get upset when I suck. Not really sure what that is all about yet. | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 07:00 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceYou're not wrong. I've been on reddit for almost 2 years now, and one of the greatest comforts I've found is the "you're not alone in feeling this way" vibe from the community. Sometimes I felt like I was the only one on the planet going through what I was going through. I never fully understood that there is most likely someone else out there going exactly through what you are going through, or having similar feelings. This realization has greatly helped me in how I deal with my feelings and my… | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 06:57 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceI just ordered the book on Amazon. Thanks! | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 06:43 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceI guess I have overcome my inner issues then. I understand and have been able to use seddit appropriately. | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 06:33 PM
A Note on Inner Confidence/sub /sub /sub Thanks! | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 05:28 PM
Recognizing Fear and Conquering ItSome good stuff in this thread too. Where I posted the link to the video again. I've probably watched it 30 times since finding it last week. | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 04:49 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceI have a friend who's been atheist since I've known him. But recently got into the teachings behind Buddhism "because they make the most sense." I've looked some over, but never "dived in" as he did. Only to realize that Buddhism has so much to offer on how to be a better human, a better citizen on this planet. So I am going to revisit Buddhism now that I've set forth on the path I'm currently on. Just to see where it goes. | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 04:47 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceUnderstood. Congrats anyways! | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 04:32 PM
A Note on Inner Confidencegot my first record contract this past summer. That's awesome!! When is your record due out? | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 04:26 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceSee, the thing is YOU CAN control your emotions at any point in your day/life. It's being able to recognize indicators of your mood and respond to them. It takes practice, and everyone IS human, so we make mistakes. I still find myself having little "rage sessions" when playing a video game or when a chain of idiots on the freeway really piss me off. But I reflect back on them to see if I can identify how to better assess those triggers that set me off in the first place. Lately, when I find mys… | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 04:25 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceRecently I've learned that I can chain "confidence events" to boost my confidence exponentially. I've begun to approach my entire day that way. Get up at 6am right when my alarm goes off, no snooze; "Fuck ya, that's the way to do it. Good job!" Make my bed right after waking up: "Shit, that makes my bedroom look nice 'just-in-case-anything', don't have to worry about that the rest of the day!" Eat a healthy breakfast, get ready for work and leave for work with enough time to make it in 10-15 min… | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 03:49 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceThanks! I am also glad it's in my past! The funny thing is, my parents didn't put that much pressure on me at all. And were always so supportive, rarely hyper-competitive with things in my life. I often heard "it's no big deal", "we'll get 'em next time", etc. SO all of this behavior I just fabricated for myself. Where it came from, who knows. | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 03:41 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceThis is just how I was as a teenager. I didn't really know how to be any other way at the time. I was constantly disapointed with myself. I had issues. I can only relate to that mindset because I lived it. It seems so far fetched and irrational now. Also...half my life later, and I really don't have any of those issues I had when I was growing up. | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 03:34 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceI was in control the entire time, I just needed to realize it. I still struggle with this concept, but I am getting much better about re-calculating, and doing it much faster. Being more in control, all the time. | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 03:14 PM
A Note on Inner ConfidenceI grew up being extremely sensitive and living in my mind, dwelling on everything everyone ever said about me. I took everything personally. I'm 33 years old, and over the past 15 years since I graduated high school (fuck me) I've gradually toned down how personal I take things, to how much I let what people say affect my mood. I still struggle with living inside my mind, and in fear. Constant “what –if” scenarios for every aspect of my life. I started having therapy with a counselor about 6 mon… | /r/seduction | 10/05/12 02:32 PM
Recognizing Fear and Conquering ItHaving only been apart of this community for a week, this is something I'm going to have to basically "retrain" myself to do. All my life I've constantly been living in fear of others. How they might react, what they might say. What they would think of me, etc... I saw this video last week and it really spoke to me. "An unrealisitc perception of life, is the basis of fear." That sentence that he opens up with is just so powerful to me, and it was seriously like an awakening. Or realization that … | /r/seduction | 09/05/12 03:30 PM
Seddit, thank you :DSame here. Honestly all the advice here is going to make me a better citizen on this planet, which is the man I've always drempt of being, just never really knew how to achieve it. | /r/seduction | 09/05/12 01:53 PM
Seddit, thank you :DBut now you get a cool nickname "Vulkreem 2.0". | /r/seduction | 09/05/12 12:58 PM
Seddit, thank you :DI'm only a week into seddit and I love it here. Every day I read the stories to get ideas, but then I also practice. As it's said you can read all day long but if you don't do anything, what is all that reading good for? Just the other day a pretty married woman (HB8) was at a soda machine. She works in the same hallway as me and recently had a baby (4 months ago). I was walking towards her, and she turned after getting her soda and was walking towards me. Before I found seddit, I probably would… | /r/seduction | 09/05/12 12:56 PM
[FR] The same evening after finding seddit...Then I guess right now I have lower standards than you? They weren't super models, but they were attractive. If I called them all 7's would that be better for you? | /r/seduction | 04/05/12 12:42 PM
[FR] The same evening after finding seddit...Ain't that the truth lol. And you all are correct it is Ohio. | /r/seduction | 04/05/12 12:26 PM
[FR] The same evening after finding seddit...Haha, yeah it is, on both accounts. I'm retuning how to use it, trying to figure out how to use less, and today I think I got it pretty good. I just dipped the tip of my finger in to get a small amount, and then rubbed it on both hands, then went to work. It really spread it around quite well I didn't use that much at all. I think I can streatch out the life of the product quite well now. | /r/seduction | 04/05/12 12:24 PM
[FR] The same evening after finding seddit...Thanks very much. 3rd day since finding seddit. I've been coming here every morning to freshen up my mind with all the positive techniques. After being down in the dumps for so long, it's going to take some work "rewiring" how I think daily. I started smiling at myself in the mirror last night and this morning. It was crazy good results. I feel great today so far! | /r/seduction | 04/05/12 12:21 PM
[FR] The same evening after finding seddit...Yeah I'm really liking it. At the end of the day, the hair is still in place, but there is almost no residue left over. (or VERY little). | /r/seduction | 04/05/12 01:06 AM
[FR] The same evening after finding seddit...I had another great day at work too. I'm just smiling more and have a spring in my step. I got a couple people scowling in the halls today to smile too. Felt amazing. | /r/seduction | 03/05/12 07:24 PM
[FR] The same evening after finding seddit...LOL! Yeah it felt great to get that just from the time spent with her. | /r/seduction | 03/05/12 07:23 PM
