Honestly, this is a quality post and I’m surprised at how little attention it has gotten. Or maybe it’s just too relatable for me. Either way, thank you for this valuable post!

Take a polaroid with you for pictures and add it into the memento box! :)

Huh, so kind of like learning a new language? I’ll have to try that! And that’s very savvy! I’ll have to keep those in mind! Thank you so much :)

Yeah, my mom was a bit overprotective when it came to dangerous things like knives and matches, so maybe that played a factor? But my sister and I also weren’t raised doing any chores either (which has been terrible for me in the long run), so if she would have asked me to help her, it probably would have been met with a bit of resistance then. Thank you for all the advice and encouragement!! It is super helpful and I really appreciate it! :)

Oh wow! This is awesome! Thank you so much! I’m sorry you grew up with that, but these tips you’ve learned along the way are golden! 💕

Ah gotcha. Yeah, that makes sense! It is a lot of work! Haha

No, you didn’t at all! I love what you said! I just wanted to point it out because it was a great observation! We all should help each other be more equipped to handle life! :) Those are all great resources! How do you meal prep? I’ve tried it twice but cooking all those meals for one week is exhausting for a beginner. Or is it something you get used to?

Emotional security is worth more than whatever money can buy. I’d rather have the comfort in knowing we emotionally connect, have chemistry, and are compatible. And besides, I don’t want a grand life, just one where we’re both happy and content with what we have

It’s funny because guys on mgtow and trp are so anal about women posting/commenting there, yet here they come. I don’t mind the helpful comment every now and then, but I wish they weren’t allowed to post in this sub.

This. I wouldn’t ever want my partner to doubt my love, commitment, and loyalty to him and I would like the same respect shown to me, as well. I’ll have male acquaintances, sure, but not friends. Having friends of the opposite gender leaves a lot of room for emotional attachments to be formed. I think the safest way is for you both to be friends with that person as a couple and to only hang out with him/her together, rather than one on one. If he’s hesitant on even that, there’s a problem. It’s …

Yes! I loved all the ballerina-themed ones 😊 And right?! It’s crazy how we focus on what we want to focus on only to realize later that what we were focusing on was only part of the bigger picture

Hey, I’m so sorry you went through that! I understand your hesitation. I wasn’t talking about the dolls, specifically, but more so the movies made of Barbie herself. But yes, the new line of Barbie dolls are definitely cool!
/r/RedPillWomen04/07/20 10:02 PM

I’m not really talking about the doll in my post, though. I’m talking about the Barbie persona from the movies they made to promote the dolls.

Yeah, I finally blocked my ex’s number not too long ago because he kept reaching out to me when I just wanted to live my life. No point in staying in contact! And that’s super unusual he did that!

I’m not denying that there is such racism as that still prevalent today and that should never be condoned. I am, however, referring to the extreme claims of BLM about police brutality, censorship, oppression, etc. As I’ve mentioned in my post, I agree that black lives matter, but I won’t support Black Lives Matter.

This. u/lordGwynx7 Stats are very important. I have been the girl in your situation. In my immature years of life, I was in a relationship that did not honor God. My ex (who wasn’t really practicing his beliefs) was obese and I was never sexually attracted to him (which is why lifting is not a suggestion). However, I was with him because he made me feel safe and secure. I would constantly reject his attempts to escalate physically but complied a little every once in a while because I was scared …

But there’s a difference between going through actual oppression and being mentally enslaved/brainwashed by the media and society. What the media shows is that black people are being killed left and right, the police are racist, and black voices are oppressed. If I do see racism happening before me, I’m not going to remain quiet. I’m going to help and speak up, but not because I’m white and I have “more privilege” but because I care deeply for anyone who is being mistreated as Jesus would. But a…

It leads black people to think they are powerless and victims, when we all have the power and authority of being God’s children if we so choose it. That kind of thinking puts race ahead of the Kingdom of God.

That’s impressive that a larger church would support that! Sending love from Illinois!

I have previously already suggested minimal ways in which we can improve the church (as a whole, not in political beliefs) to our pastor directly and he didn’t even make an effort to consider what I said. I’m a 21 year old small little white girl. They just don’t take me seriously

It was a sort of round table discussion where everyone was invited to talk about their experiences, opinions, and such. Most of the people there were around 21-35 years old. There were a few black men there, but the majority of the group was white. During the discussion, one of the black men shared that he thinks it’s the responsibility of white people to make black people feel heard and that we need to do better. The consensus was in support of that as well as defunding the police and giving th…

I think it largely depends on which dating app you use. Some are notorious for hookups, but there are others that are used more for finding long term relationships. I’d say google around to find ones that are better known for their success with long term relationships. I haven’t used any dating apps quite yet, but I’m thinking of doing so to expand my network of options, since the kind of man I’m looking for is harder to find (as I’m sure most women here can relate). And believe me, I never thou…

Oh my gosh this is so me! I’m coming back to this post to see what advice others can give because I so desperately need it. Do you also feel sometimes you’re either too feminine or too masculine around other women? When I get into my too feminine mode, I’m seen as shy and I have girls tell me I’m so cute and sweet and adorable but they say it almost in a motherly way, as if they are speaking from a higher position than me. But when I try to exert a more extroverted energy, I feel too masculine a…

Hmm well I guess under or around $200 would be the max for both the wedding gift and bridal shower gift combined? Is that enough/too much? I was thinking about making a scrapbook but I mean it’s not for both the groom and bride and it’s not something they can use so maybe it can be like a side gift for her?

Those are some great ideas!! Thanks for the detailed response! Unfortunately, I won’t be able to apply some of them because the shower was planned before I got the invitation and it will be more informal, with people just coming and going during a set time window and not staying too long because of the virus and all. Also, I loved that above and beyond stuff you did to ensure that she didn’t forget to do something or embarrass herself! Definitely taking notes! And I think that’s a great idea to …

Haha yeah, my friend isn’t too comfortable about receiving gifts, either! I just got her a last minute sash that said “bride to be” on it for her bachelorette party and we got some cute pictures with it. And what would be your go-to bridal shower gift?

Hey, there is no need to be rude. What I meant by that is you can take a moment to freshen up after.

I personally wouldn’t endorse dressing super hot, as you don’t want to attract the wrong (or at least wrong in this sub as hookups aren’t what we go for here) kind of attention or attract him for the wrong reasons if you’re looking for a serious relationship. However, I will say to always look nice and smell nice in his presence!

I just realized that his blog hasn't been active since 2017! I sent him an email anyways, but it's probably unlikely he'll get back to me about it.

Yes, well, it was a bit long overdue because she wasn’t a very healthy friend, but it’s still sad to break off a friendship. And with that point, I’m sorry to hear about your friendship disintegrating. That’s never easy. But yes, you make a great point there. Maybe you’ll have a chance to reconnect in the future?
/r/RedPillWomen05/06/20 01:59 AM
3

Thank you for the advice! That’s definitely what I’m looking for (true friends) in terms of wanting to know about female group dynamics. I’ve recently split it off with my best friend of 6 years a few months ago and came to the realization that I don’t have any other female friends I would say that I’m close to.
/r/RedPillWomen05/06/20 01:18 AM
4

It’s unfortunate, really, because knowing such things could benefit a lot of women! I, too, have been mostly an outsider when it comes to the female social matrix. In high school, I was a “floater” and would casually float between different groups, not understanding why I couldn’t fit in because I didn’t understand the social dynamics of the groups. Thank you for sharing your experience! :)

There’s a subreddit called r/pornfreewomen that I would highly recommend checking out! While my addiction to porn was never severe, it still impacted my daily life and I still struggle with it sometimes. If you need someone to talk to, I’d be happy to chat :)

That’s great advice, but I struggle in the little things, too. I feel this way even just going bowling with a guy. Normal people have a good time, have fun, and enjoy themselves, but I don’t know how to relax and not make things into a competition or a blow to my ego.
/r/RedPillWomen02/06/20 01:18 PM

I hope a fellow sister’s opinion can be shared here! I usually opt for coffee dates. It’s super casual, doesn’t show too much interest/investment too fast, it’s less commitment than lunch or dinner, if things go south, AND if you offer to pay for her coffee, it’ll be $5/6 tops. I’ve had coffee dates that lasted anywhere from half an hour to four hours. Just a suggestion :)

You’re right. I guess I haven’t gone so deep into it with him because it just feels weird since we don’t have that much of an emotional connection to begin with, but that might be something I can try. I’m pretty okay with the dating aspect and I only treat those men like mentors, not dating prospects. They have been quite helpful to me, too! Thank you for sharing and the advice :)

This is a good idea, but it can go both ways. I’m a little hesitant to take sides because I already don’t get along with my mom much, either. But I don’t agree with how she treats him and when I have defended him before, she was hurt.
/r/RedPillWomen05/05/20 05:02 PM

You’re right. The only thing I do with him is watch the news or movies with him at home, since he won’t go out. We bond through our shared political values, as well, which my mom bashes him for. He also sometimes likes to go fishing in the summer, which is really not my thing, but I’m thinking about going with him this year. Thank you for the advice!!
/r/RedPillWomen05/05/20 04:57 PM

Yes, I often gravitate toward guys that make me feel “safe.” I’m sorry you had to go through that, too, but I’m glad you were able to find purpose through that pain, which is definitely something I’m working on and your advice is great! Thank you for the thoughtful response 💕

Hey! I just wanted to give you a warm welcome to this sub! Thank you for being so willing to be open and vulnerable here. It was definitely a different perspective that I hadn’t thought about and I really appreciate and respect that. I work as a server and experience this, too. I wouldn't worry too much about it. They feel that way because they know they're saying things they shouldn't. In fact, they're the ones acting "holier than thou" by airing out other people's business and judging them for it. When I get caught in that kind of talk, I simply refuse to add to it or I say something kind about the person of subject (even if you don't know them well, you could always defend them with the benefit of the doubt, but in a way …

Well I was a bit of a feminist during high school and one year into college, I stumbled upon a Youtube video by Candace Owens, talking about all the negative effects of feminism that I was completely ignorant to and realized she might be on to something. I searched deeper and found YogiOabs’ Youtube channel where he talked about feminism and the red pill and he did a collab with Mrs Midwest, which led me to doing google searches on how to become more feminine and that led me to this lovely subre…

If it's not that big of a deal to you either way, but it is to him, I, personally, wouldn't go through with it. It wouldn't be worth it to me to cause an argument over something that's not a big deal to me (in this case, you). I would try to analyze why you feel inclined to do so and what your reasons are for wanting it. Is it peer pressure because your friends are doing it? Is it because you're not able to accept aging and you're feeling insecure? I really don't want this to come off as judgmen…

Honestly, I struggle with this as well and the best advice that has worked for me is to pay them compliments and become friends with them or make an effort to get to know them. They may seem intimidating at first, but we all have insecurities and that includes them. It’s such a beautiful thing to uplift other women and have them uplift you, too :)

Huh, I’ve never heard to try that! What preventative measures does it have?

I would really recommend Mrs Midwest's YouTube channel! She's got a lot of tips on how to grow into your femininity! Wishing you all the best :)

Wow, I had no idea! Thank you for sharing your cultural perspective! At what point did you realize your behavior was becoming problematic? (Also, I’m sorry about your partner’s passing)

Ahh noo not the typical Christian response! lol I don't like hearing it, but I know it is true! Thank you for sharing a bit of your story and for all your input and advice (and for serving as a reminder to go to God first with these desires)! God bless you, as well! :)

I never said I was looking for an alpha guy. What I meant in my post is that the "alphas" are the most respected among men and it's a shame that those are the values they carry.

Ahh YES, I wholeheartedly agree!! I'm also a Christian so I can definitely relate. Congrats on your engagement! I really respect your decision to choose purity. Also, question: where do I find guys like you?!

Yeah, that's a fair and reasonable answer. That's also one of my standards. I weed out the guys that watch porn or are addicted to it because it's an obstacle in marriage and in intimacy.
/r/RedPillWomen28/02/20 03:16 PM

Yes, I definitely agree with you on that. However, why would you find it a bit alarming if it was extremely low?
/r/RedPillWomen28/02/20 02:53 PM

Yes, you make a great point here. I also live in the Midwest but it's hard for me to find men that take care of themselves, value purity, and are also as devoted or more to their faith than me. Anything else you can recommend me? :)
/r/RedPillWomen28/02/20 02:45 PM

Hmm yeah. How does it affect you or your relationship?
/r/RedPillWomen28/02/20 02:39 PM

Yes, but while we do have natural instincts, we also have a choice as to whether or not to act on those instincts. I don't see it as a desirable quality in a future husband and future father to my children in a healthy marriage to have spread his seeds all over in past relationships/hookups. While I realize why that double standard exists, I think it's important to foster healthy male behavior (aka self control and respect towards women). If you're teaching your daughter to remain chaste and pur…

Hmm that is a different perspective. Have you two ever thought about getting together?
/r/RedPillWomen28/02/20 01:59 PM

Yes, thank you for reminding me that I should have clarified! I am wondering more so about boundaries with friends or acquaintances
/r/RedPillWomen28/02/20 02:56 AM

No, I wasn't referring to my life but putting out that that may be the case for others. But what you have seems like a healthy relationship. Thank you for the advice! I will keep it in mind!

While that is true, I was assuming the best on her part, because being lying and manipulative isn't part of RPW values

What an insightful and well thought out response! I think you make a really great point here. While I see the appeal for both sides, I do agree that it really does depend. Thank you for your input!! :)

Firstly, LOL Secondly, I mean less in the moment and more throughout the day (or days), while you are taking some time to cool down and think but still disagree with the other person. I do agree with being on the same team, but how do you let the argument go for that moment to be physically loving? What kind of attitude do you take on?
/r/RedPillWomen28/02/20 02:23 AM

I definitely have never heard it put that friendship brings out your very worst side while intimacy brings out your best. That's definitely a fresh and interesting perspective! Thank you for your response! :)
/r/RedPillWomen28/02/20 02:17 AM

I actually really like that attitude! That's a very interesting perspective, honestly. I like the concept of remembering that you are a team and you should be working together and not against each other. Thank you for your input and response to my questions! :)

And do you ever think he might be using sex as a way to influence the outcome of the argument?
/r/RedPillWomen28/02/20 01:55 AM
2

Hmm that's interesting! How are you able to do so without wanting to push the other person away? What kind of attitude do you have surrounding that?
/r/RedPillWomen28/02/20 01:53 AM

Honestly, I would find it suspicious and odd that he didn't just throw it away when he found it. It's not like he should have any use for it... I would confront him with the question as to why he didn't throw it away in the first place. Say that even though you said you have forgiven him, it still rubs you the wrong way (and don't be so quick to forgive if something still bothers you, otherwise your forgiveness is not genuine). Don't approach him coldly, but approach him as though you are willin…

When I told someone I thought guys and girls can't be just friends, they asked me why I only thought of guys as just potential dating material and I'm not too sure how to answer that without it coming off wrong, but I totally feel the same way you described!

I think you need to be very honest with everyone involved. Honest with your boyfriend, honest with the new guy and that you’ve had a boyfriend while seeing him (or else your new relationship will be built on a lie), but most importantly, honest with yourself. It seems like you are just starting to refine your taste in the kind of husband and partner you want to be with and the kind of father you want for your kids (if you choose to do so). That’s not a bad thing, but I advise you to take things …

THIS. THANK YOU. I will not even consider a relationship with a man if he is still involved in a porn addiction or watches porn at all for the sake of my future marriage and future kids. As the head of the household, he must be an example and a leader. I fully agree with everything you’ve said. Thank you, once again, for bringing this to light. Edit: You should write a blog! I’d totally read it! :)
