I could not handle hormonal birth control. The physical side effects were one thing but the mental and emotional were much worse. I have the copper iud now and I love it, I don’t have to think about it and once in a while I go get an ultrasound for a peace of mind even though it’s necessary. Insertion was not easy but afterwards it was all good and I barely think about it.

Yes he fits me more than most guys I have met regardless of age. I know it may not last but I was just wondering for going forward and judging based on age. It has definitely opened my eyes a bit on my criteria and whats important and what's not and i know with age especially one as insignificant as a year shouldn't be taken into so much importance

I don't expect him to be financially considering we are in school but soon to graduate. He definitely has potential. Thank you for sharing :) it has definitely made me feel better

Yeah i thought he was too good of guy to let this silly thing stop me. Now that I think about it I trust him to lead more than some of the others guys that have looked my way and they were all older.

Thank for sharing :) , your husband sounds amazing. I will take all of that into consideration and perhaps let go of this fear of mine

I felt like that when I discovered the rpw of things . I thought in order to be all of this I had to be fake. I don't feel like that anymore . No one is asking you to be perfect. You shouldn't feel as if you are losing yourself, you should feel like you are improving on yourself. Take every piece of advice including on this sub with a grain of salt. Take a seat back and really analyze the situation and apply what seems like the best solution for you and your husband. No one here knows your situa…

You wrote " happy" in the title so I got confused. I don't watch a lot of their videos but the ones I have seen, they are generally well done. Thank you for sharing , I am not even halfway through but it's good so far.

Not really, if anything I am able to point them out better and consciously consider them of a higher value than before but I never found myself attracted to the " bad boy" , I always saw value in the good guys even if I didn't know it or I wasn't dating. It was just a gut feeling i never found myself attracted to the nice guys who pretended to be nice or the guy who uses negs. I am so grateful for my gut feeling that even when I had lower self esteem I stayed away from that naturally. Your gut c…

Haha I didn't know if you wanted the credit or not but its definitely good advice and considering a lot of the younger women here are ready to be in marriage mode , it doesn't mean their current partner is.

I am currently reading the book and I don't think you ever stop being a "bitch". By bitch I mean you aren't a doormat. I don't take everything said in the book seriously since it wouldn't work in certain communities but some of things mentioned work great . I have a tendency to be a people pleaser and there's a lot of charm in standing your ground . Odviously not in an unpleasant way where you are rude but in a way that you respect yourself and expect others to. You will notice this in older fil…

It seems like you are hurt because he doesn't seem to be pulling his own weight in the relationship. Like you said communication is a big deal and its important that you communicate how you are feeling in a healthy way. Hints or facial expressions or even passive aggressive behavior can sometimes not be enough. He's young , you both are and young people tend to be in their heads a lot so he may not even notice whats going on, you said he is still pursuing his interests like he should at his age.…

It seems like you are already taking the steps to recover. If you stopped doing the things you did in the past and working with a counselor for your issues. There are some men that are worth it that will see your past as a red flag. Personally as a conservative Christian woman I avoid men who slept around or currently participate in drug use. I have a cousin who went off the rails at 18 and started drug use and sleeping with a lot of men and dropped out of school. Than at 22 she started taking c…

I'm so glad you made this post , I was under the impression this was an extension of the other one, only for married red pill women. I definitely see myself participating more here now . After posting and commenting more on redpillwomen on this account (because I wouldn't want it connected to my main), I notice how much impact trp men have over the subreddit including in the votes and comments. After my last post I got several private messages about how most women are not worth marriage and how …

It really depends how aggressive she is or often she brings stuff like that up. I grew up in a big liberal city. Most of my childhood friends are left leaning. I am more moderate/conservative. However politics is not my whole life. I vote but generally avoid the topic irl. As long as you dont disrespect me I dont have a problem with us being friends with different beliefs. The only time I had to stop talking to someone is when they started having aggressive behavior to those with different opini…

It really depends . When I was 18, I had both a 25 and 31 yr old man pursuing me. I didnt pay much mind to the either of them. I felt like the 31 yr old was a creep even though he presented himself as a good guy, even my family liked him. I talked to the 25 yr old but shortly after stopped because he gave me an off vibe. I didnt do anything physical with either. Usually when younger women fantasize about older men, its a man in power . Either famous or boss/teacher. When I was in high school the…

Thats actually a good idea , consider applying for a PR internship for next semester or the summer . You shouldn't have too much trouble since you already have office experience. Thats good that you realized it before pursuing it , too many go into it without realizing what its really like.

While political science is not the most practical degree, I wouldn't call it useless. I know a few people that majored in it and some went into marketing/business. There are also a lot if office jobs that require a degree but arent specific like human resources. You can even intern or work as a legal assistant in a law office to see what being a lawyer is really about. Parents pressure is one of the worst reasons to attend law school. Law school is no joke and most attorneys dont make enough to …

Theres a chance he was probably insecure about the fact that he doesnt a degree but to put it on his bio was not the right thing to do. Most people in tech pride themselves on being self taught and having the ability to get a well paying job without too much schooling so I am surprised he would lie about it. Either way its not a good sign , I used to lie a lot as a defense mechanism because I wanted to tell people what I thought they wanted to hear. I don't do that anymore but it took a while to…

In my opinion not being college educated is not a deal breaker however the lying is a concern. You don't say exactly what he said but if someone told me one thing and I find out they were lying, I would consider it a red flag. When it comes to the college degree thing I used to consider it a deal breaker not anymore. It really depends on the person . I know men who didn't go to college but were ambitious and found other ways of reaching professional success , some even made their businesses. I k…
