Well I'm asking because I already hung out with this girl as strictly friends several years ago (being more than friends wasn't realistic/good idea at that time due to certain circumstances). If she's not interested in more now, that's fine I'll still be friends with her but I just won't prioritize hanging out with her. This is just a general question, not really specific to this girl. Is it a good idea to use the word "date" when you're making plans with a girl? For example, let's say you decide to go to the zoo, can I end the conversation with something like "Alright, it's a date then. See you Friday"?
