It's quite simple.

When kissing normally, don't tense up your lips since they will become hard, soft is key here.

French kissing, less is more. Never put your tongue in the other persons mouth, I relax my tongue on my lower lip when the mouth is open, as you close the mouth slow retract the tongue - rinse and repeat.

Kiss your right hand, I'm guessing the two of you are quite intimate by the age of 21.

It should be feel quite natural to be honest.

Don't worry about the kiss. Worry about being a great date and showing your ladyfriend a good time. That's FAR more important than kissing.

Dont think about it too much. Also dont open your eyes, as least for long. And dont be too slobbery/give too much tongue etc. just a bit of the tip is usually best if you dont know her preference.

Honestly the first time I kissed someone I thought it was really weird and uncomfortable but I was also super nervous so that probably ruined it for me. So relax, it's not a big deal, and it will seem way more natural after like 2 seconds.

Also, it's not a terrible thing that you've never kissed a girl, and if after you get to know this girl a little you find that she's nice, you could probably let her know and there's a very small chance that it would actually bother her. She might even think it's sweet or something. I'm a girl and I wouldn't be freaked out by it at all. Don't rush into it though, it's just your first date! Go with the flow and do what feels natural.

I am in the same boat as you, 23 and never kissed a girl. Instead of being nervous and hype myself up I think it's better if you are looking forward to it and enjoy it...it may be awkward but who cares if you two are both into each other. Laugh together about it, if she is more experienced tell her to guide you and ask her what she would enjoy.

I remember being panicked for my first kiss. Watching videos on youtube of how it was supposed to go down, even looking at wikihows....and you know what, it's not a terrible thing to do if it makes you more confident in approaching. The thing that surprised me was just how natural it felt once you start. There's a reason why kissing is pretty much in ever culture. You'll be surprised at how instinctual it feels.

The only real advice is don't use (too much) tongue too soon. Light grazing is fine. There's girls out there who love tongue, but they're going to be fine without it, whereas girls who don't like too much tongue/saliva are not going to like it. Be careful of teeth - don't approach too quickly. Like the others said, keep your lips soft and slightly open. But really, it'll all fall into place pretty instinctually. Best of luck!

One important thing is not to get ahead of yourself. This is your first date- there won't necessarily be any kissing at all. Relax a bit- just do what feels right if the situation comes up.
