I watched this and was SO excited until he mentioned the porn part. Does this essentially mean he supports the porn industry? What a waste! How can you defend such an industry? I just don’t understand. He was probably brainwashed by Liberal Feminism thinking it can be “empowering”

Lol “some random woman” if she is so “random” why are you trying to go out with her? I was just having a convo about this with a friend yesterday. Men act like dating is SO expensive but it doesn’t have to be. Have a budget for dating, and be more selective about who you take out. Rather than trying to “meet up” with every single person you come across. Just an idea!

I also follow along with Bethany and Kristen. While I can’t stand their beliefs, (I’m a Christian too) I hate what is happening to their family, her pregnant sister trying to flee the country at 38 weeks, and those poor boys who are sitting back watching what is happening to their home country. Just breaks my heart.

Most of the guys I’ve come across are engineers, work in IT, project managers, and I’ve chatted with two law students. One guy worked at a public relations firm. I haven’t come across too many nurses or doctors. A few, but not many. Probably because people in healthcare date other people on healthcare 😂 I don’t know? Haha

I love Shallons videos. I too do not agree with everything she says and does. She seems to be a supporter of hookup culture. I’m not sure what her stance on sex work is. Does she support that heavily?

I had gone on a bumble coffee date and was very turned off that he got there before me, ordered, and when I arrived didn’t even offer to pay for mine. It was like my attraction vanished in 2 seconds. I talked to a friend and she thought I sounded very “entitled”. And she mentioned that a date not paying for her isn’t a deal breaker or even a thought regarding if she wouldn’t see him again. I started googling “who should pay on a first date” and the rest is history! I found my people lol 💕

So we’re just gonna ignore the biological facts…. The science behind sex… the hormones that get exchanged and how serious that is. Not to mention risk of STDs, pregnancy, and having to be on birth control. Yeah I’m not buying that BS

This is basically my story! I graduated college when I was 22. Didn’t date during that time. I had a part time job, an internship and full course load. My priorities were straight. I’m turning 25 in April, and I’m JUST now feeling like I know who I am and what I want. My mom got married at 19, her and my dad are still together. While there can be exceptions to the rule, that was never something I ever wanted for myself and my parents have never pushed me in that direction. Times were different t…

I’m waiting for marriage. I don’t care if it “shrinks my pool” or not. It’s my decision and I’m not going to compromise on my values. I’m not sure what you’re reason is for waiting but for me it’s because I’m a Christian. So I wouldn’t even entertain anyone who doesn’t share the same belief system as me/isn’t living the same lifestyle. That said, I actually have ran into quite a few men who are waiting/willing to wait. I have many friends who are married and they along with their current husband…

I totally agree with you and these are all fabulous points to consider. At this point I’m not sure if I want kids. I can, however tell you from the time I was a child I have been terrified of pregnancy. My heart has always been warm towards adoption however, so if I do decide when I’m older and financially stable, I’d be open to that. I have a friend who I probably need to cut off but can’t. It’s only gotten clear to me recently who brainwashed she is. I tried introducing her to FDS ideas, and she was disgusted (not just disagreed, DISGUSTED). Literally all I tried to communicate was, “I think you’re amazing and beautiful and you deserve a man who is going to pay for dates, and treat you like a queen” She actually got mad at me for saying she was a queen. Said I was reinforcing the patriarchy. She has swallowed the liberal fe…

He is clearly playing a numbers game. In my opinion, and someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I always hear on this sub that a man knows almost immediately if he wants something serious/a relationship with you. So wouldn’t that mean that he would drop all the other women he has been going on dates with to focus all his energy on one woman? Not only that, but you shouldn’t even have to “bring up” this conversation. He should be clear in this intentions from the start.

I just want to know how to find multiple men that I’m interested in to date. I downloaded Hinge and I think I’ve flipped through 150-200 profiles and so far have only found ONE, single solitary guy that met my baseline standards just based on his profile.

Agree. I’m 24 and the thought of dating someone 30 freaks me out. They’d have SO much more life experience than me. My absolute max that I would consider would be 28 at this point.

Hey! I actually just posed a similar question in Female Level Up strategy. I was having the same concerns/questions you are having. Go check out that thread, I got so many thoughtful, insightful responses! For me, at the end of the day I enjoy makeup. I think it’s creative and can be an outlet for some. This. I went out with a guy (also from Bumble) whose profile said he was 6 foot. I get there, and he is just over eye level. I am 5’5, so I’m guessing he was about 5’8. Like you, I don’t mind… I’m on the shorter side anyway. But the fact that he LIED about it? Nah. Next.

Yep! Just yesterday I was browsing on I believe it was the Hinge subreddit. A man was asking how he should respond to the question, “what are you looking for?” He explained that he didn’t want anything super serious, and wanted to be truthful about it (shocking!) Of course, another commenter responded and said “if you say you’re not looking for a relationship, 99% of girls won’t be interested…. Just saying”

Yes, oh my goodness yes! A couple years ago I was chatting with a guy on bumble (gross, i know) and was telling him about how the day prior a man at my apartment complex had followed me/creeped me out. I followed up with saying something along the lines of, “yeah it’s hard to be a woman, always gotta be on guard.” His response: “hmm yeah I can’t relate as I am not a woman” WHAT. I was so turned off.

I’ve been on one date. I say “date” lightly. It was August 2020 and he was from OLD. We met at Starbucks, and he got there way before me and ordered his drink. I was immediately turned off. I found FDS days later and have been leveling up ever since. Lol

I’m never changing my name. I’ve had my name for this many years, why go through all that paperwork and he has to do none? Just another hassle women have to deal with. Now, I do know a woman who, when her and her husband got married they combined their last names. That would be the only way I would do it. If HE changes his also.

Absolutely wait until you feel confident! I used to be down on my looks too. I decided to level up physically as well as emotionally. I got braces, I started watching YouTube videos about skincare and purchase safe products that have now completely gotten rid of my acne (Thanks, Dr. Dray! Seriously… look her up!) and now I’m in the process and leveling up my hair routine. Throwing our old products, cheap shampoos that dried out my hair. I went to Sephora recently and got some higher end products…

Right?! I’m like… have you ever read a book? Every psychology book/relationship dynamic information I have ever read has said men get their satisfaction from providing. If they can’t provide for you, they’ll find someone beneath you so that they can. So they can feel “like a man” The same goes for women. We desire safety and part of that safety is financially. So, if he isn’t working at all, gets to stay at home with the kids while I’m out making money, yeah, I’m gonna grow to resent him and eve…

The bottom line is I could never respect a man who would be comfortable in this type of role. The sexual attraction would be zero lol. Amen. Society is obsessed with making women feel like we NEED a partner. I mean we are a culture who grew up on Disney princess movies. Taught from a young age that we need a “happy ending” and a Prince Charming to save us. This is the third friend I’ve introduced FDS ways to. The first two almost completely agreed with everything right off so I was genuinely surprised when this friend was, dare I say offended by what we preach. But maybe I at least planted a seed by giving her some things to think about. We can’t expect someone to change overnight.

For sure. I do feel bad. Probably even worse than I felt before I tried to introduce her to new ways. She mentioned that every date she has been on, they split the check. She met someone on OLD and drove like 40 minutes TO him. Idk. I just know she deserves better which is why I feel so protective and upset at her negative reaction to what should be bare minimum manners.

Thank you. I realize the makeup comments were probably over the top. I guess I thought I was just throwing another thing out there, but I get it doesn’t look the best. I did make all of those solid points you mentioned, but unfortunately she still didn’t get it. Next time I try to introduce FDS I will be more calm about it. It just got me fired up thinking about how i believe she views herself. Because I think she’s super great and deserves the best. :)

Thank you!! I honestly thought most women were like this. Lol. Pretty sure she actually thinks I’m an entitled bitch because I want a man to pay.

You lost me at 50/50. Especially since he makes more than you. Like the other commenters, your LV list is a lot longer than HV and quite frankly outweighs the good qualities.

Can someone educate me on Jordan Peterson? I know he’s an author and I’ve read of some his stuff but he didn’t seem bad

I have no idea lol. I mean I would want to know we are on the same page as far as goals go, and I think at the 6 month mark is a good time to see what your goals are as far as marriage and kids go. I wouldn’t want to waste my time if our life goals didn’t match.

I’m gonna disagree with the other ladies here. I don’t think 6 months is too soon at all. I think that’s about right on target for that conversation. I mean 6 months is a good amount of time especially if you spend a lot of time with this person and you continue to vet.

You made the right choice. My question is why the heck do men do this? If you’re still hurting why go chase after someone else only to not commit? Why play games like that? Why don’t men take time to focus on themselves and level up like we do? It’s so lame.

Okay I’d like to know what high value / FDS minded youtubers you ladies watch. My favorites I’ve found are Greta Bretcheta (sp?), Chengi’s World, Shera7, Karine Alourde and Dr. Michelle. Another one I recently found is The Universe Guru (Mina). Everything she teaches is very FDS except for the fact that she encourages age gap relationships. I say this lightly because she’s not out here telling women to date wrinkly old men. But her thing is that you should date up preferably 5-7 years older than…

This makes me feel validated as I’m 23 and haven’t ever had a relationship and honestly have no interest right now. It does get tiring when family and friends are constantly asking me when I’m going to “get a boyfriend” though. They genuinely don’t believe me when I say I don’t want one right now. It’s crazy.

Okay, well first things first a loving partner would NEVER threaten to hurt you. Second of all, we as women I think like to see potential in things. We often we potential in people and create this desire to fix them. The truth is that potential will never ever be enough. And you will never fix them. I think it is in your best interest to move on. There is someone out there for you who has MORE - much more than just potential. And a threat to hurt/kill you is not a matter of if - but when. Rememb…

Just read your post and follow up and I’m glad he is at least admitting his mistake but again, that’s easy to do. Is he going to make up for it still? I think that’s the least he could do, even though a few days have past. Another red flag I found in your post is how you guys do 50/50. You’ll see we don’t advise that in the handbook. I actually made a post about seeing the 50/50 relationship in the wild on fb 😅 good luck!

I’m wondering this too. I also don’t like OLD. I would say events, join a co-ed club. Put yourself in situations where your ideal person would hang out. Example: library, volunteering at a nonprofit, church. Of course these aren’t super great right now with covid.

Oh god I do know who that is!!! They have been in some of Trisha paytas videos. Yeah, I couldn’t believe she’s a porn star and becoming a mom! I mean no disrespect but you have to do better for your child.

Girl take it from me. It’s not worth it. I was in your position a few months ago. Matched with a guy on bumble, hit it off, exchanged lonnnng messages. He never asked for my number, was very wishy washy about asking me out. It went on for TWO months. Don’t be like me. Lol I think on the apps, people act quickly. If a guy sees someone he is REALLY into, he’s gonna ask her out, get her number on the spot. Not wait.

My question is ladies. How do you know a guy doesn’t watch porn? Many guys have said men who don’t watch porn don’t exist. Is this something you bring up soon after meeting someone? Personally I’m waiting for marriage so not sure how to approach that topic. But I def don’t want to spend months and months with someone only to find out they’re into some gross porn.

Yes girl you are me!! Not catholic, but Christian and wanting to wait for marriage. How did you bring that topic up in the first few dates? And how did the guys react? Could you see the interest just fade so fast 😂

Don’t move to Nashville. Men are scared of commitment. Most are traveling musicians who have groupies and hookups in different cities. I hate it here and I’ve barely started dating. I know there’s good guys in this city but finding them is difficult, as with any city I imagine.

Hey girl I completely agree! While some make valid points above, I think the only one who can make that choice is you. I want to wait as well. I think it’s important to note that even though we are waiting, we can still have in depth conversations with our partner about our future sex life and discuss what we expect, and things like that.
