Soft degrees? What are you even talking about? Hypergamy = marrying up in social class. Not marrying someone with better looks, not ”social dominance”, not higher relationship market value. The most beautiful and nice woman in the world could marry a disfigured stinky man who has a higher social standing than her and that would be hypergamy. You obviously missed the point.

Social class is not defined like that. Looks or youth or agreeableness don’t factor in. Class = upper class/middle class/lower class.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/23 07:04 PM

Hypergamy however refers to education/money/social class.

Height and size disparity cancels out the intimidation factor - even if someoene actually intimidates men the person might in fact feel like a prey.

Hypergamy refers to education and income. Men have a stronger preference for ”dating up” in looks in terms of relationships, and they tend to do - slightly.

Oh god don’t ask here. Irl, I’ve heard men complain about women having sex to early because it indicates they’d do that with other people as well.

Yet prostitutes haven’t replaced ”real” relarionships. You’re missing the validation factor

Imo, women who ”hit the wall” got all their appeal from their youth. They weren’t attractive to begin with, but their youth could hide some of it…

80% chance to get pregnant in one year instead of 90%. Thing is, most people with issues that age had issues younger as well:

Cost inflicting mate retention tactics. Outside of the redpill it’s associated with the woman being of higher mate value and the man having low self confidence.

Nobody claimed any of that. It’s just showing the perspective of younger men with access to women. And yes it would be cucking in the sense that they give ”their” women to old men. Never did any of this ever imply any of my own views.

6’0 or so. I’m not into very tall men, as that feels to scary to me, but it’s not like I’d reject someone for being to tall but medium height is better. Defined jawline and face but not harsh facial features. Nice hair, preferably brown. Athletic body but not gym bro-looking. Should be an athlete (or at least was). Educated (both re formal education and being well read). Very intelligent. Income should be above average but not ultra rich, would make me feel like a prostitute. Hobbies like those …

In the US maybe. 12% of men and 11% of women in my country are in favour of ~restricting~ abortion. Right now we have 18 weeks free abortion so the discussion is whether this should be limited to 12 weeks. It’s rare to find anyone who is against the current law let alone against abortion overall.

That was somewhat common where I went to school. Given how women mentally mature earlier and it’s a matter of a couple of years, I find it in no shape or form comparable to what TRP calls age gaps.

Most men in my social circle my age are against age gap relationships, but they don’t struggle with women at all. Promoting age gap relationships would be cucking themselves to older but ”accomplished” men. Even had a friend who dated a much younger guy, (she is in her early 30s and he 25) who talked about how much better young guys are and that she’ll soon realise that old farts aren’t worth it. Most women aren’t overly invested in the topic. They find someone like DiCaprio creepy, are bothered…

No, you simply struggle with your deductive thinking as well as making logical conclusions and seeing patterns given how you mention enrollment in a course. You seem to think in simple singular steps and analyse phenomena based on very few base premises. In addition you just talk about something confidently whoch you absolutely lack any knowledge about. Let’s make it simple so that you understand here: Me: Very good at maths and physics, but pretty much very good at everything. I decided to stud…

I find someone’s appereance more attractive in motion (compared to a pic). Like, just pure appereance, without knowing them.

I’m not generally attracted to men older than me. Well, I prefer late 20s. If he looks young for his age and is attractive I could tolerate someone in his early 30s. He also has to compensate in all other areas. Nobody born before the 90s though. I’m in my mid 20s. Might be more open to theorethical age gaps at 30.

IQ is very much real and very heritable, but what this means is severely misunderstood including the implications in regards to differences between races and environmental influence. Jordan Peterson acts like “IQ is from the Lord” because he is a psychologist and it’s his field of expertise.

No, genitalia or sexual attraction is not comparable to general traits at all. There are differences but: - They apply to averages, an individual is a data point - They are usually rather small, meaning that the differences between individuals is much larger than the differences between the average for men and women.

Yesssss!!!! Average age to get married in the 1800s in Sweden was 27. And usually 2-3 years age gap. And according to my own genealogy, that wasn’t even all that common among nobility either. Plus among nobility, it wasn’t even the people themselves that chose their partner, usually the parents did and women were “promised” to other families very young. Nobility really wanted to get rid of their females.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 09:13 AM

According to statistics in my country men want less of an age gap than do women

/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 09:09 AM

Western countries have never had large age gaps, those 0-3 years have been standard for the entirety of the history of the western world. Funny statistic - in the west, women want larger age gaps in their relationships than do men (still within that range).
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 09:08 AM

Yes intelligent women if we use education as a proxy for intelligence are more likely to be married/less likely to be single and have lower divorce rates

Social psychology is a small subset of psychology. subset: a set each of whose elements is an element of an inclusive set. : division, portion. a subset of our community. core: the part of something that is central to its existence or character. No, interdisciplinary in the sense that it doesn’t fall under ”society sciences” nor ”natural sciences”.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 09:01 AM
1

No, you are simply ill informed. Social psychology will touch upon this as it is focused on individuals in social contexts, and that’s the possible potential ”overlap” with sociology - yet unlike sociology it’s still an individual focus. The closest cousin is probably ethology, though cognitive processes naturally are much more central to psychology. This was just an example, but cognition, perception, memory, emotion, decision making - the underpinnings and consequences thereof. That’s not a su…

Wait, how does intelligence relate to single motherhood?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/23 07:15 PM

Because those men might simply not be intelligent themselves. Usually people want others that are similar to them, and intelligence is one of the main traits where people tend to ”assortatively mate” i.e. look out people that are similar to them. If a man is very intelligent himself, he tends to value that in a woman as well. The IQ and educational attainment of partners correlates more strongly than any other trait. A man with IQ 100 doesn’t have any use of a woman’s intelligence in the same wa…

I think you might confuse psychology with sociology. Sociology is studying social behaviour, relationships etc. In my language ”social science” is called ”society science”. It was called that in english too apparently. Typical fields are economics, sociology, law or political science. You study things related to humans as a group. Usually universitites when they can’t use the term behavioural science for psychology put it under ”50% medicine, 50% social science”. Behavioural science might be the…

Very young women tend to be picky with looks and dislike age BUT are more naive. As for a couple of years younger. Guy (who was older than me) told me once that his dating range is +- 5 years but ”women older are probably not interested”.

How little social skills do you need to have to think that women who say ”I’m a ten” actually think that?!
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/23 04:16 PM

It’s not simply supply and demand here. Younger women tend to have lower standards (but not in terms of looks). They’re more likely to be ok with a guy being broke, mean, treat her badly - but likely have higher standards in terms of appereance.

Any education which requires top grades to get accepted into: That means psychologist, physician, a business program at one school, some engineering programs, and law.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/23 12:14 PM
1

This is really funny for someone from my country. Almost hilarious. In my country, while law requires good grades, it’s harder to get accepted into the psychologist program and it’s not uncommon for people to first study law but change when or if they get accepted as many people that didn’t get accepted into the psychologist program decide to study law instead. Lastly, it’s seen as very beneficial for someone who studies law.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/23 12:08 PM

That doesn’t exist in most of the world. Taking a single course in any field will not provide an adequate picture of the field as a whole.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/23 12:06 PM
2

I find it very funny overall, not only the way he lacks understanding of it as a field, but also because where I am it’s 1) one of the hardest educations to get accepted into (psychologist and physician > one degree at one business school > two engineering degrees at one specific school > law) 2) high status It’s also the program which correlates the strongest with high SES.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/23 11:46 AM

You have to try to put yourself in the perspective of these women and don’t make conclusions based on what you see. Telling someone that their face is ugly or that a certain body part is is simply substantially meaner than commenting on someone’s sense of style, and results in other social consequences.

I think this is what is different here. Couples that tie those more closely might be less happy because it becomes a requirement not a bonus.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/01/23 10:35 AM

I think that people who need to have a lot of sex for a relationship are more likely to be unhappy with it, when the frequent sex is more of a requirement than a bonus. People who find worth in their relationship outside of sec might be people mire likely to be happy. I think people overestimate time. More sex in this case might mean less sleep or no time for other aspects of the relationship.

That’s not even relevant. Point being it is not normal, and no woman wants that. It’s not about moralising, it’s educating men that women don’t want old men. 25 and 30 nobody cares about, larger age differences than that barely exists.

90% of women young get pregnant within a year, 80% of women above 35. A woman that is 30 has at least 10 fertile years ahead of herself. Technically more, and that’s the biggest difference in modern times, women stop having children much earlier. The average age to get married where I am from was 27 in the mid 1800s. So first child at 27-28. Unlike now, it was much more common for women to have children at an older age. Nowadays women tend to have 2 children, say at 30 and 32 and call it a day.

This is very accurate. Both male and female users of dating apps score higher in sociosexuality. There are more religious women than men, but to me it sees like some of these people online want to both eat the cake and keep it in terms of religion. Very few of these women will want a non-religious man who is "based and red pilled".

But of course it is better to have children before 40. That’s what has happened in modern age. We have a very prominent decrease in old mothers compared to 150 years ago. I find it interesting as it rarely comes from men that are actually capable of logic and reason. But yes indeed, and it shows that they act upon emotion instead of trying to accurately assess a situation.

My mum got my youngest sister at 42. Me at 29. She has a better life, as does my sister she got at 31 somewhat. One thing it taught me is how important it is to focus on having a stable life before having children. Most people don’t want more than two children, so age is not the biggest factor.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 06:22 PM

I see a lot of men on the street I’m attracted to that I would never have sex with, so why does this sound weird? I only eat healthy food now, does that mean I dislike dessert? /r/AllPillDebate21/12/22 09:14 PM

It's less "impulsive" and based on scarcity. Not on "hunter" mode. Even male sexuality becomes more responsive in a relationship. So basically, she might not think about sex randomly, but with some flirting she gets more in the mood, after kissing she gets more in the mood, after some touching she gets more in the mood. This is why some couples have issues in the bedroom. He initiates, she isn't in the mood. But this is very exaggerated and binary.

You have watched to much Andrew Tate. Women aren't prostitutes, it's not a sign of a woman being attractive. Money and education matters but it also has to do with parental expectation. Will you feel ashamed? Will this person be a social misfit? I think in countries like Saudi Arabia it might work like you mention. However. 1/3 of variance in sociosexuality is explained by gender. In gender and economically equal countries, the variance is smaller. Monogamy has been enforced by men in general (even if they desire it less in theory - on average, that is, the individual differences are larger than gender difference) because they realised that a likely option or result from the alternative is to not being able to do anything.

I understand that it makes you upset that she challenges your views. It can be hard to deal with. However, her reasoning is that female desire is responsive and reliant on the man. Male desire is more spontaneous but even in a relationship it becomes more responsive.

Oh you mean Chad in the sense of a successful man not neccesarily a successful and masculine man? Yes indeed prettyboy type of successful men tend to like women like that. She is a perfect example of women liked among ”anime” type men, but not so much by the ”masculine successful man”. Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas and Nial Horan are of course desireable to many women, but they are ”prettyboys”. Remember again what I wrote about dimorphism and neoteny not being the same. Neoteny can look very boyish…

Not really as my post shows. It’s an example of how they still like beautiful women, just not the same ones… and no, it doesn’t seem like that at all nor is it supported by science. Look at who represents the anime fandom and the women in there, look at the wives of say NHL players. I actually asked a person to ask his hockey team and the preference for Dua Lipa was uniform compared to Belle Delphine. The shorter a man is the shorter he wants his woman (8 cm shorter). Sexual dimprphism is also n…

Right, but these women tend to be ”less good looking” in a different way than they would be to other men. It’s not a general punching down, but also punching in a different line. The Dua Lipas or the Belle Delphines. For a man that prefers the Belle Delphine type of women, a man going for the Dua Lipa cathegory but then also not only for those that are actually as hot as her, it might seem like dating below his league a lot - but to him it is just dating down a bit. This poses a lot of problem for the RP "beta bucks" narrative as it doesn't really exist here. Men don't even pay for dates here (but apparently want to). Instead the providing part we select for traits that make someone seem like a good father and partner ("good personality"). That together with appearance becomes more important. Our men are known for being "vain". So it's completely irrelevant whether someone will have money or pay, but it's important whether he seems like someone that will pl…

I as a woman can tell you that it is the reason number one and that is pretty clear given that women find it attractive if they like the man, but not if they don't. Women want to feel special sexually. Female sex drive is highly narcissistic. Men also want to feel desired, but for women desire is dead if he isn't into it. Men might dislike star fishing, women would dump a man for the equivalent.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/22 08:30 PM
3

I guess it is less common here maybe as there is less of a "withhold sex and want resources" but also less of a "withhold resources and push for sex" type of dynamic here. I live in a more economically equal country but also a more egalitarian country. That tends to make sex differences more pronounced - but we can also see that women and men have more uniform views on sex and relationships here and more similar sociosexuality. Less transactionality I assume. Our men are seen in a bit of a contr…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/22 08:09 PM

No, and I assume that is because when a woman has casual sex, it is casual. Men might have the desire for having multiple women, but for men p&d is risky business in ensuring sexual availability. Of course that "something more" could also have meant FWB as I mentioned, but still. Men that p&d maybe do that because the woman gets clingy and he doesn't want to give her false expectations.

I mean you have a point - friendzone isn’t even friendzone. However men can retiliate so women try to be careful.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/22 07:05 PM

Never done that. Apparently a majority of men would have wished their ONS turned into something more (well FWB counts here). Know of a guy who complained that he usually gets matches from older women on Tinder (not much older) and they see him as a boytoy while he is interested in a relationship. He gets pumped and dumped. Another man complains he can’t find women and seems to belive he is less desireable. Why? Because the women aren’t willing enough to wait.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/22 07:00 PM

As a woman I’m answering this. It is reason number one. Female desire overall is very narcissistic.

Yes, agree. Asian men have race wise a high potential. My neighbours are chinese and while the parents are 5’7 and 5’3, their son is 5’11 to 6’0 (grew up in Europe) and has a stronger jawline and cheekbones than any of his friends.

I mean not even neccesarily facial features. White men are bigger and stronger and more grown, and tend to have objectively stronger facial features, but relative to themselves asians have stronger facial bones and more ”hunter eyes”. If asians selected for size in the same way you’d have very masculine men the way asians were portrayed in media maybe during the 80s or so.

Yes, essentially an intermittent reinforcement conditioning schedule, which is more effective. Due to the human ability to reason that type of behavior also has to be done in moderation as most people get annoyed at game playing. The amount of neg tolerated also differs a lot, and in what way it can be done. Most women would like friendly banter and teasing, some of the negging would not be tolerated at all. She is using Tinder. Tinder has an imbalanced gender ratio. If men think they’ll find casual sex on Tinder they are wrong. Men need to 1) dumpster dive 2) be in contexts with alcohol 3) find out promiscious women (lower class for example). Of course, that’s what drives men to TRP and makes them reason like that. If you were handsome you’d have no issue being here as it would not represent your world view. But as you say…

Since TRP is an ideology it makes more sense to call that ideology RP. In practice I see this in other forms too. It’s men that have slept around more that seem to be more willing to go for ”used goods” so to speak even in terms of single moms (for WC men). They both have the mentality ”it is just your turn”. This doesn’t mean attractive men per se, just WC men with unrestricted sociosexuality.

Thank god I'm more patient, I'll try to answer despite you not listening. Of course women decide it, as it is a supply and demand factor. In the end, women decide success. That some guys have a lot of success with uglier and looser women is not a matter of being alpha. A poor person being able to buy a lot crappy bags at the bazaar through haggling does not make him more successful than a rich person buying one Hermès bag. The loss in having to date with a prostitution based mindset is larger (because of a potential tradeoff in terms of looks and personality) than the benefit of the extra money. I think you are being very emotional right now, take a deep breath, and then try again to speak in a more composed manner. ------------- In this regard, maybe 20%. This is where the principles of "the red pill" might apply. What are you even on about? Women date up progressively, as hypergamy states (wanting to upgrade) and as the statement that a man should try to date a woman as early as possible i.e. before she has learned her "value". Then the pair bonding to her male partner will prevent her from dating up.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/22 06:13 PM

Like I said, for most women it starts with BF and ends with AB. Nobody can try to be an alpha as that is a looks based thing. To try to be BF is not very hard lol, it's just essentially women having low standards. I have no problems in real life, I'm trying to help the men struggling thus ending up here. That's why I'm writing this. I'm trying to give a perspective on how things work for normal people.

What you can see in terms of aging is dry skin when a woman is thirty or so. By moisturizing the skin more, differences don't have to be as pronounced. Women that are attractive don't have to end up with someone that looks bad ever, unless they very highly trade it off for other things, but that sounds more like prostitution.

No, they also trade up in terms of attractiveness. They trade up in all regards. Beta fucks to alpha bucks. As for money: In my country there is less economical inequality so there aren't really any rich people. If you have an average wage you earn maybe 3500 dollars per month, if you have a good income you earn 5000 dollars per month. I'd argue trading up in attractiveness is the most common.

A more attractive guy doesn't have to contribute as much with things such as money, skillset, competence, drive m.m. so a woman will be more fine with an attractive guy giving her a lot of attention, but be more bothered by a less attractive guy trying to get into her pants or locking her down instead of showing potential contribution to a relationship through focusing on career or hobbies.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/22 05:48 PM
1

Yes and no. A man that is only focused on getting in your pants or trying to "lock you down" for his own sake is less attractive than a man investing in his future economically and skill wise. This means a moderate prioritization of work and hobbies is important and attractive to women as it shows you are determined and it makes you seem more competent, ergo more to bring to the table.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/22 05:45 PM
2

It's usually men that are more "beta" by TRP definition that don't. The promiscuous dudebroy guys usually end up with women that are similar to them in personality. I come from a more "beta" social class, and the men from the working class ("alpha") are the ones that are more likely to be fine with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/22 05:41 PM
2

Women do this throughout her 20s, I'm not talking about how divorced or older women date. Didn't you get that?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/22 05:36 PM
3

I'm so sorry you didn't get it. I won't ask you to read again but will explain instead. Well, maybe my bad for not explaining it simpler. I thought it was crystal clear and even wrote it in bullets. I also assumed you already know about what dark triad means or the different mentality for people of different sociosexual orientation. We are essentially saying similar things, minus that you missed the whole picture and didn't get the association between dark triad and promiscuousity/these strategi…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/22 05:33 PM
4

I agree, it is made for unattractive people that are dark triad minded to prey on mentally disturbed or sociosexually unrestricted women or obtain a money less trade with psychopathically minded women (i.e. give them the impression of validation sex). The problem is that TRP tries to universalise this. They also do it wrong and have no clue how narcissistic men behave. It’s not men that are overly rude. Not even ASPD men behave like that but rely a lot on ”charm”.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/22 05:10 PM
2

No, I mean that most people assortatively mate and form a pair bond, i.e. non dark triad people don’t date according to this mentality. That these men and women end up being left overs and with each other is not against that, and of course they don’t pair bond. This small subset of men and women can’t do that.

What you are saying about men is not true at all. It’s only true of those men that women lack interest in or those men that leftover women need to chose from. A woman being nice is being feminine. In fact, even sexuality is based on a woman displaying niceness. Bitchy women don’t get shit. Women want to date up less than men, as women are more careful, fear of cuckoldry is stronger in women. Being nice is showing safety and protection. AFBB is false as the most attractive men have higher standar…

Your source is Wikipedia. I’ve read countless studies from Google Scholar. I don’t think I found a meta study, but certainly studies with a somewhat similar methodology. I do belive that unrestricted individuals put more effort in their own appereance though, as that seems to be the reason why narcissists are perceived to be more attractive.

The point of nice guys is that they are fake nice or not nice at all but claim to be themselves
/r/AllPillDebate13/12/22 07:08 PM

No it isn’t. The association is stronger for men between sociosexuality and appereance. For women there is very inconclusive studies. There is some association with self perceived attractiveness, but especially testosterone (bisexual women). These women tend to have less hypergamous preferences, akin to less attractive women.

The average man where I live that is young is 6’0, taller than our ”180”. We like average heighed men, ie 180-183 cm because it’s objectively more genetically fit, not because it’s taller than other men - because it’s not. We don’t even understand nor know ”6’0” until it recently became a meme. We find the imperial system stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 04:40 PM

”Do better” doesn’t matte rbecause it can account for height queens. The matter is What the average woman prefers.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 04:38 PM

Yes! And… in Europe that actually IS the average. You can’t brag about it as something special because it’s normal and average. But we still like it because it’s is objevtively good.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 04:37 PM
1

No, women want good genes. Why do we in the West want men that are 6’0 even though that’s our average and not ”taller than other men”? Because it’s a sign of peak genetic fitness to be around that height.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 04:36 PM

No because I live in a place where the average person is about that and that’s our ideal preference. If you tell someone your partner is 6’0” they wouldn’t react.

What sort of sex work do women promote?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 03:21 AM

Not at all. Men don’t prefer sex workers as they want women to willingly have sex with them. The men that go to sex workers don’t have power over women as they aren’t the same men women want. The fact that these men don’t might not brother women for casual sex is if anything a plus… I’m from a country with legal prostitution. Doesn’t affect dating at all. Being against sex work is usually driven by motherly feelings or an inherent fear that we might have to end up like that. Or worse our future …

There are different facets of beauty that are, and there is a loose agreement in what is attractive. However, how these facets are prioritised and relate to each other varies. Rarely would someone find a non symmetrical, non dimorphic, very non average with signs of poor health attractive. But how much each is prefered varies a rather decent amount. /r/PurplePillDebate03/12/22 09:28 PM

Women at a certain level have options too, so… Also association between amount of partners and attractiveness is around 0.3 so, nah. It also reflects sociosexual orientation.

They do have a desire with the right man, but male desire for relationships is higher. For a man to have relationship value he needs to have sexual value however, a man does not have ”relationship value” void of sexual value.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/22 04:35 PM
1

No, the logic doesn’t follow. ”Men can assume they have relationship value but struggle to create a sexual product that women want to purchase” Men cannot assume they have relationship value… Any trait you describe as relationship value is friend value and not even every man would be a good friend. Without sexual value a man lacks relationship value. Men have lower relationship value than do women.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/22 03:44 PM
1

But your affection and so on is not relevant for a relationship unless she finds you attractive. That’s called the friendzone. Doesn’t matter. Women gatekeep relarionships a bit, women gatekeep sex a lot. The only times in relarionships where men have the upper hand is if he dumpster dives.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/22 02:25 PM
3

Yes this is the best thing I’ve heard. I do think women givning advice tends to match up more accurately what is true for most women, and that the ”ask the successful men” says more about the women that this person is pursuing. But overall, ask someone like you who knows about the specific type of women you’d like to attract.

My advice for casual sex for men? Find women that seem very impulsive or just ”open” in general, like hipster girls that like to go on raves, go for women clearly uglier than you and try to find them at parties. The target audience (women interested in casual sex?) and the women that ”men that are successful with women” are around is different from women as a group. I think that is what they aren’t getting.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/22 01:56 PM
1

Nooooo. Why? Because the ”women” these men have success with is a subset of women not at all representative. The men that have the most women in numbers might not at all be the man that has the highest potential to be successful with most women. Just because someone gets ”lots” of women from a specific small group it says nothing about what works or what is good advice. These men don’t have a representative sample. If their ”advice” goes against what women say, then maybe they aren’t speaking of…

Supply and demand 🤷‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/22 12:32 PM
1

My point is that supply and demand decides pure sexual value. A 6/10 woman has the same SMV as a 10/10 man because of this. More men want to have casual sex than women.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 06:40 PM
1

Yes, but what I mean is that since it is a different market it can’t be compared. Supply and demand, if men to a lesser degree wanted to sleep with women that are not at the same point percentile wise then a womans SMV would go down. This cartoon is correct imo but it goes both ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 04:02 PM

Nah women want men that other women want but who cant get him 🤷‍♀️ Sorry but I don’t know anyone who thinks like that. It is a major redflag for relationships and the association with N-count and attractiveness is around 0.2-0.3 iirc in men. I know a lot of mid men who ”rack up” and inflate their bc.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 01:23 PM

There is a study on this on women. More attractive women are more discriminating in their attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 01:19 PM
3

I think many people miss the assortative mating part. Men that I find attractive always look midly related to me… that sounds weird but honestly a lot of couples that stay together have some physical similarities. So a 6/10 with a specific phenotype looks better to me than a 10/10 with another.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 01:18 PM
2

Well, supply and demand 🤷‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 01:16 PM

Supply and demand. Female looks based SMV is higher than female looks based RMV. So they are in the same league sexually… even if they are different points. Then also think that there is room for subjectivity here so…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 01:16 PM

To your TLDR: This was investigated. Chad gets 50% of the total sexual encounters. Chad here is top 20%. And you are right because 20% of the women have 50% of the sexual encounters. So it just seems like 20% of the most promiscious people sleep with each other. Also, men that have the most partners are not neccesarily the men that most women would prefer having sex even casual with. It correlates to 0.3 percent with attractiveness.

No. It is associated with resources. When men haven’t eaten they prefer slighlty fatter women for exmaple. I think it has to do with moderately big is attractive but very big is seen as an indicator of fatness. Slimness is the most important, more important than WHR even. Meaning even though slim and good whr is prefered, slim and straight is better than fat and curvy. That’s because slimness signals youth thus long term fertility.

Studies show a peak at BMI 18.5 or so for attractiveness and then a steep decline below but a more gradual decrease above. The fact that 23 is better than 16 doesn’t mean that 18.5 isn’t ideal. There are studies on this which shows that humans (both men and women) get desensitised to attractive women and women in general, but not attractive men.

I think my views are pretty conventional and by that I mean actually conventional. But alas: - These model guys blackpillers post. Some of them look homosexual to me. I like stereotypically handsome men but that is not actually good looking. Actors tend to be more attractive. - Super wide jaw. I like a defined and angular one and low facial fat, but not a super big jaw. - Well, super big muscles. You are correct according to studies on that estimation. Men prefer 8 cm difference, which is I think a bit above 3 inches.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 02:53 PM
1

Oh some studies on this actually. Men like height but not if she is taller than him. So 3.5 inch difference is ideal for men. In the west, this puts the ideal for a woman at 5’8 or so if I do my math correctly. But 5’6 might have the widest appeal since even shorter men will like it. In practice where I am, 5’3 and below it is a negative, and 5’1 is rejection tier. In general height doesn’t seem to matter. 5’10-6’0 is where it might be an issue in the other direction.

Both. There are men I find attractive but I turn them down unless they commit. Also, why only get half the deal. Enough men I want equally that would commit, often those men are even more attractive. Every man has dignity both as man and as a human - that however doesn't mean that everything any man says is something we will love. I neither love nor dislike men as a whole. The same for women. I am against misogyny but also misandry. Before reading TRP I had positive experiences with men. I thought that all men were nice and I thought more highly of men than women. Redpill made me legit afraid of men. I think the goal here is to have a balanced and encouraging view.

When my sister was hurt by a man my dad put himself in the man’s shoes. You make this gendered, but it isn’t. Yes. I have not "been overlooked", and I have gotten appearance based validation in terms of beauty. But I'm non promiscuous, don't dress in "sexy" ways, rather in an elegant way, whereas other people would post and dress sexy. When a guy would ask another woman for sex, he'd ask me to be his girlfriend and made sure to be respectful. I know men are interested, but I don't think of it as sexually, I separate sexual attraction and beauty in my head in terms of myself, which men don't really seem …
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 09:15 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 04:14 AM

No, almost all men are blue pill. That’s when they assume they will have, or experience success. Incels then end up on Redpill. If a man was successful he’d be unaware of any Red Pill stuff and just be himself and not have to use weird ”tactics”.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 04:14 AM

Yeah but just because men ”spin plates” and inflate their body counts that doesn’t make them desireable. What I mean is. Men that have women after them have looks + personality etc. The women are into the traits. A loser with women is still a loser with women.

They protect their daughter from other men. It’s the same as men who would say ”not all men” to some statements about feminism (i.e. they are a good person) but when it comes to their girlfriend it’s definitely all men, every single one of them. I think very few people want to see themselves as threaths. Father’s think of their women not as a potential conquest (a woman as something to hunt), but as his child to protect.

Time pursuing that is time taken from investment in children (or investment in resources in general). No we are decently good at it but like I mentioned; this is an R vs K selection thing and a factor that differentiates some people. Those that can are probably more successful educationally.

Investing in offspring has had the highest survival rate for children. K vs R selection is a bit dependant on socioeconomic factors. Can you postpone immediate gratification for the larger reward? If outcome is certain, yeah, if uncertain, less so.

Yes and no I think. I’m also from an UMC background and I agree with that/that is also my experience. It goes for the women as well though! But I think education is important here as a factor. People that are simply very rich can be rather promiscuous, but class isn’t only economical and that also correlates with high levels of narcissism (which might display as high standards and wanting the best girlfriend too, know those type of people). So I think this is specific for UMC. A fast life histor…

/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/22 03:29 PM

This study only correlates it with attractiveness. But dumb men can be hot too! Studies do however show that men prefer women that are smart as long as she isn’t smarter than he is. And it also shows that women care more i.e. it’s more of a bonus for a man than a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/22 03:29 PM

Jocks can be intelligent…
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/22 03:27 PM

No but what about intelligent men dating intelligent women? I saw a study where a woman’s desireability to a man goes up with say X until she reaches his own level of intelligence, whereas for a woman the man’s desireability goes up with 2X and it continues beyond that. Basically that intelligence is desireable in a woman, but only until she reaches his level, and not as desireable as it is for women in men.

I've been told by Eastern European men that it is emasculating if a woman wants to pay. In other countries I'd expect even more men want to pay because you focus more on money and "showing off resources", so ability to pay is associated with masculinity.

I think it's probably not that different in NWE in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/22 05:54 PM

No, it isn't at all. It happens for some men that often struggle to find wives else, or men that are a bit old. Or just because they happen to find love. In Thailand their "value" is seen as higher because they are white and richer (like a woman in an interview said she thinks thai men tend to be lazier than swedish men), but there is the risk that the women are only in it for the money. In addition, there is a study showing these women are more victims of domestic abuse than women in general. I…

I know men that have a fairly easy time getting female attention and they too have talked about feeling objectified. You don’t need porn to masturbate though? Men don’t watch porn because women don’t meet their ideals but because they want visual stimulation or variation.

They still look normal. You think that they are extra hot because they are naked, but they look like normal women. It’s about that they are multiple. I think it depends heavily on his reasoning. Does he want to have a ”hoe phase” or find what is better? Is it based on complaints about her or wanting to try out? Sometimes specific complaints aren’t really complaints more so than him wanting to see if he can trade up. This is about K and R selection. K is hypergamy, R is polygamy if we want to speak strictly. 1/3 of the variance is explained by gender, so yes men are on average more R-selected than women that are on average more K-selected. 2/3 of the variance are explained by other factors. Not really. There is a corraltion but it’s related to that women with worse ability to pair bond are more likely to go out and get a higher BC. Avoidant attachment, high sociosexuality. Those women would have had a low ability to pair bond regardless. As far as I’m concerned there are no studies supporting the idea that sex with multiple people makes someone lose the ability to pair bond.

Then it’s not an underrate, because that’s still relative to their “league” if that makes sense. It might simply be so than women do look better than men do, but women seem to see who looks the same relatively speaking.

I watched a movie yesterday (The Emigrants, from 1971) and it made me think of some sort of american mentality of the man being ultra rich and the woman a mere decoration. I’m ashamed people that left my countries (I’m Scandinavian and German) have become like this. People came to America hearing that ”no american has to work more than 12 hours a day”. Oh and I remember a dialogue from the movie, two peasant/farm working boys (I don’t know what it’s called but basically people that worked at a f…

Studies show men overrate and women underrate. Thing is, people call themselves incels and talk about how they have no luck with dating but then say that fat is a deal breaker. Most people here are from the US it seems, and you are quite a fat country. If a man is generally less desireable in dating, his proper dating pool is very likely fat women.

”The wall”. Is it an american thing? I don’t know any woman in her 30s that has wrinkles or aged skin unless she did excessive sun tanning. The sun doesn’t naturally age us here since it’s such a northern latitude. Most people of my social class stay in shape their entire life. Nowadays people don’t smoke either. Even my soon 55 year old mother doesn’t have that many wrinkles. I live in Scandinavia so it’s not like people’s skin is sun resistant. Maybe the bone structure helps too… That a woman …

A lot of men complain about that women started showing interests first in their mid 20s after being ignored in high school. It’s about validation, female sexuality being narcissistic (”oh he is very dominant it means he wants me soooo much he can’t keep himself off from me” says the monkey brain) and that it’s in a way the ultimate surrender and safety. No no, many women aren’t even looking for casual sex or wanting it. The validation aspect from casual sex doesn’t exist for women to the same degree as it does for men. Precisely because it doesn’t mean anything, and it doesn’t help the ego. In fact it would hurt it very often. And that leaves it as just a physical sensation, not different from masturbating. So why? This is generalised and some women definitely do sleep around bla bla, but these ”endless options” for sex is just; it’s not some s…

This depends on social circles. To marry an attractive woman who is dumb or implies he chose her for looks is low status in my social circle. Doesn’t relate to the looks of the parents. I don't think that you can say that the amount of partners in itself causes this, it is much more likely that they stem from a common cause. It’s called cost inflicting mate retention tactics. Men that use those are insecure and see themselves as having low value and see the woman as holding power over him and her having more ”market value”. If person A would respect me over worshipping me, that would be the best. Sometimes men worshipping women does not feel like true love, where you accept the person as they are and respect them… it feels like you are an impersonal version of Le Holy Woman. I know men that do and they always get upset over every tiny things which goes against their pedestal. Lastly, not able to cheat. But what if he wanted to? For me the intention to, or wish to is just as bad as the act. Imagine a man that wanted…

Yes, it indicates a personality not suitable for relarionships nor genes I want my children to have. A man that sleeps around is like a teenage boy in the head still. Cannot control himself, concerned about status from other men and self validation. He is not a grown man, and I cannot respect him. He is a hedonist and we do not share values regarding sex. He doesn’t see sex as anything different than masturbating with a female body. That doesn’t mean he has to be a virgin, and I can forgive some…

Actually no, because men can be really harsh and mean and competitive and so on when talking to each other. What we mean is that We want to be treated with the same basic human dignity and respect.

It’s the concept of commitment, investment and safety. Flashing designer stuff is not attractive. Another example is, why is idk a striptease attractive? That is separated from her as a person! It’s even separated from her body! Because it shows sexual willingness and male sexuality is in part visual but also very strongly focused on ”the woman wants it, the woman enjoys it”. Why is it attractive? All woman can do it, but it signals something. And no it isn’t separated from him. It might indicat…

In a relationship there are other moral issues such as that the woman is seen as a mere object, but I’m talking about a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/22 06:10 PM

It’s men buying women. Ok, if she does onlyfans or stripping for free? And yes of course, that’s what a relationship is about. A relationship is monogamous. I don’t feel ”threathened”, I feel disrespected.

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/22 06:04 PM

It’s almost like visiting a prostitute. The problem is not the visual stimulation but the cheating.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/22 04:02 PM

Having sex with someone also means that they provide visual stimulation so that’s auch a weird argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/22 04:00 PM

Would you want your girlfriend to be a stripper or start and onlyfans or also be insecure? And no, the inadequacy lies within being only one person. It’s not like it’s always good looking people. I did not grow up among hippies and a relationship is exclusive between one man and one woman. Period.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/22 03:59 PM

Ok, if the woman wants an onlyfans then.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/22 03:42 PM

We don't have the "drive". The majority of women have a responsive/receptive sexual desire. It's like being able to eat and enjoy food a lot, but rarely feeling hungry. Only when someone gives you food. This is also why the woman if she is lower libido should more often adapt to the man, and the man should try to "court" her more.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/22 03:08 PM

Many people would think the latter is being "insecure" and "obsessive", which to me is absurd because either I want to be in a monogamous relationship with unconditional love, or none at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/22 03:05 PM

Because most people want to be husband and wife and aren't into casual dating. I'm sorry but I'm not muslim or mormon, why would I want my future husband to go for other women?

Yes objectively speaking in terms of looks and attractiveness. But I’m also not attracted to someone that I can’t see as the father of my children (even just hypothethically) so in practice I don’t. Then of course they are close enough age wise in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/22 08:19 AM

Yes, it happens but it isn’t the norm. That’s maybe relevant for me as that’s my age, but the reason I did so is because according to a study done in my neighbour country the prefered age gap among men in their late 20s/30 is 2 years. The discussion was regarding 20-year olds.

Well exactly my point. Yes because those people would talk about life experiences and ”being at the same point in life” i.e. both done with education and such. And that’s something different. You were both young. But marrying that young is very rare and even people that are in relationships that early tend to wait until they marry, probably because they don’t want people to talk badly behind their back but also because it’s seen as something you do when you are done with the rest i.e. you should…

More so than here for sure. Regardless if you CAN afford it, most people want the living standard of two incomes. I did the same and asked about whether someone wanted a woman that is a housewife and most said no too. ”Success” or so is defined differently in the US. People that become celebrities have very specific personalities, and are socially generally of a lower class. But it’s a big difference if you meet at 35 and 42. That’s not comparable to 27 and 30.

You probably live in India or Saudi Arabia or something like that, but that’s fine. Most men in the west that are say 30, consider a 20 year old way to immature to pursue something serious with her. But that’s of course men that actually talk to women in real life. But sure. That’s why according to a study I’ll find men in their late 20s and 30 in Norway say that their ideal age gap for a LTR is 2 years! /r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 03:56 PM

Maybe you come from a more lower class background? For beauty, sure, for dating no. But women don’t aim for a porn career. I explained it, a 20 year old is not considered ”wife material”.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 03:51 PM
1

Well you mean because our society values beauty, a lot of importance on anti aging and beauty enhancement and media pushing women to spend money and focus on looks and looks based approval instead of doing ”real” things? No but it’s the men here who say that a woman’s worth in relationships is based on looks, that looks matters more than we women think, and that women overinflate how desireable they are on the metric that matters i.e. looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 02:16 PM
1

Well, so let’s day it like this. There is an increase from 20 to 27, and then a decrease at 35 or so.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 02:14 PM
1

I guess I’m talking about my own country and what I see happen in real life. Some norwegian study said that men at late 20s to 30s prefer a two year age gap for LTR. Male aquintances in that age reject women that are around 20, and I was at 24 told that 31 year olds ”see people my age as children”. It’s a class matter I guess of course, this is upper middle class i.e. people that study law, engineering, medicine or whatnot and whose family has done this for generations.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 11:25 AM
1

When they are maybe 35. Not at 27 compared to 20.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 11:21 AM
1

But the study show that women don’t overestimate themselves as a group. There is a study that shows that ugly people overestimate themselves (as 6/10 usually) but that’s for both men and women and when these people were asked to pick people of equal Attractiveness in a study, they chose people of equal attractiveness. And I’m talking on averages. Not an unrepresentative minority.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 11:19 AM
2

But then why does it matter to women? That’s exactly what is claimed. But how are women’s looks overinflated unless that means that women think to highly of themselves? With plastic surgery and photoshop one can hardly claim men have a more positive view on women either. Studies show that social media exposure has made both women and men say rate a 5/10 as a 3/10. I think QVES studio or what they are called mentioned that.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 11:17 AM
1

But that’s true across genders
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 10:29 AM
1

But: -it’s more common not to -it’s more common that the opposite is the case -it’s more common among men So statistically it doesn’t make sense to talk about an unrepresentative minority.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 10:27 AM
3

I mean, meanwhile TRP says that women at 20 are seen as more marriage-material than a 28 year old because of their looks and beauty. TRP literally tells women men only care about looks. Im in a discussion about that right now. https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/xkij9z/men_30_is_it_true_that_you_prefer_not_to_date_30/ipf2dho/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3

Because you talk about SMV. But in fact, older, less ”young” and ”attractive” women, and I’m talking about maybe 30, have an easier time dating because they are chosen not based on looks but on potential mother qualities. Wifey material over hot fuck. In practice of course most casual encounters men have are less attractive, but point stands. The female beta bucks if you so will. Difference to people from TRP that cry because they missed their teenage stud phase, for women it works in our favour…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 10:15 AM
3

We don’t give compliments because it might be misinterpreted. No I mean, if he doesn’t approach he might miss an opportunity, if he gets rejected shame or bad self confidence is ”the worst”. That’s the I guess ”evolutionary” reason why men have an inflated sense of self. They have to. And no, TRP says women have an inflated sense of self confidence. That’s maybe done on purpose, as negging that is.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 10:07 AM
1

I mean yes, that’s definitely the case, but it definitely does not mean inflated sense of confidence. Point being, IF it is because of attractiveness, it’s not that she has an inflated sense of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 09:56 AM

There was a study showing it. But I agree to some degree here. A lot of men don’t approach at all... I don’t think I’m the shit or something, and I live in Scandinavia so the average in terms of looks is much higher, but often men that aren’t as conventionally attractive barely even show interest in relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 08:37 AM
1

Yes…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 08:31 AM
7

Yes well, men need to overestimate themselves because it’s usually men that approach. That’s the same way were men tend to overinterpret signals of interests. Like you smile or something. This is why women don’t give men compliments. The risk of missed opportunity is worse in monkey brain than risk of rejection (because rejection means nothing changed). So I get why. It’s just very opposite to this RP narrative.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 08:28 AM

I’m talking about deflating lower than it is with the aim to increase the prettiness of women available to people here. It’s part of ”cost inflicting mate retention tactics” (such as negging) where a woman is made to belive her value is so low that she accepts any treatment, when in actuality she could be with men that are more handsome, richer, treats her better, better personality and so on. I know a ”redpiller” who tells my friend that he is way above her league and negs her, yet she is in a …

Doubt this. Type of men interested in relationships = her league. Type of men interested in casual only = not her league. Not rocket science.

What do you mean disagree who she has access to?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/22 03:58 PM

But they would still be aware what men are interested in relationships with them. Aka their league.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/22 03:25 PM

That’s pretty obvious for most women. Where do you get the idea that they can’t? I mean take a random woman who is not so facially attractive and 200 lbs. She might get the opportunity to sleep with ”high value” men, but the men where she is asked out in a relationship sense, will be different one’s. The latter is her league.

I notice this as well. They might at first be pathethic but end up as either obsessed with casual sex or passive agressive/rude/aggressive and it’s fairly clear to me as a woman. It indicates low value. Yes but they also behave more beta in the sense that they tend to be nicer to their women or women in general. ”Simp”. This idea that attractive men spend all their time sleeping around with multiple women they are being rude to is either the case of someone who was a loser in highschool, or what…

Well, it wants to make men manipulate Women into fantasyland to increase their success with said women. Obviously it has to do with women as it tells men how to deal with women.

Attraction, but that’s SMV. A decrease in SMV might actually be a good thing for a lot of women and they might appreciate it. For marriage and motherhood there is a difference, as RMV is not the highest if you are 20… and this is what I’m talking about. I’m not talking about being 40 or anything like that. I’m talking about why 28 will be an advantage over 20 in the regard of getting married to a man that has a stable income and is family oriented. I don’t know what you consider the west. The US…

Well yes but why call it dread? That’s for your own sake overall, to be your best self. I wouldn’t actively dress in ways that signals that I try to get other people’s attention or post some lewd instagram pictures, but obviously it’s not a healthy relationship if a partner would want you to be unattractive. I guess? I think it depends on the woman, it’s maybe more based on WHY he suddenly wanted to change, but personally and this is not about ”go to the gym and be your best self”, I would not t…

Uhm? I’d expect a partner to go to the gym or dress nicely. But doing things that seem to be on purpose to make someone feel like the partner isn’t commited to me would not create spark but annoyance and make me leave.

Where I am from mothers encouraged their sons to do a lot of sports and go to the gym, to study and earn money, and to associate around and expand social circle. But well, casual sex tends to have a terrible effect on society so it’s first recently where it is seen as normal let alone encouraged. If that’s the only goal though then why does TRP complain about sluts? Wouldn’t they love sluta that are more inclined to just sleep with whoever aka them?

But why do you need some wild misgynistic sounding theory to say that ”have healthy boundaries”? That’s the only thing that does work I’d say. The rest is seen as insecurity trying to mask it or overcompensate or a power tactic or ends up being abusive.

And what is a simp or blue pilled man? Men that consider themselves high in mate value tend engage in higher ”court related consumption”, basically spending money. In addition they are more likely to use ”benefit provisioning” mate retention tactics to their partners whereas men that consider themselves to have lower mate value spend less money and use ”cost inflicting mate retention tactics. Benefit provisioning: ”Examples of these tactics include showing affection (e.g., giving gifts, complime…

Of course mothers haven’t encouraged casual sex but uh the rest?

Cost inflicting mate retention strategies. Negging. Dreadgame. But also.., Not commiting to any woman. That’s also part of that ha ha. Obviously no man is owed to commit, but why be with a lower value man who doesn’t commit when you can go to someone else who does? It’s often fairly clear when it’s done as a tactic.

I mean, by raising his RMV? How does a man get more physically attractive by earning money? This is not a high school sweetheart story. It obviously differs from place to place, but there was a study in Norway showing that men in their late 20s to 30s see a two year age gap as ideal for LTR. It’s just that while youth might be prefered, a woman that is 20 will not have luck in anything serious with an older man, and I count that as say 10 years, I guess unless she is from an immigrant family or …

Negging, dread game. Basically cost inflicting mate retention tacticsZ
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/22 07:01 AM

But why is that needed for basic self improvement? Heck I mean that’s what mothers have been telling their sons since forever.

Then their problem is that they prioritise a relationship over their mental health. Women don’t have more options than men, but I think women are often fine with being alone rather than suffering that sort of behaviour. To not tolerate psychotic behaviour doesn’t require any ”red pill.”
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/22 12:58 AM

But why would you be with a man if he treats you badly in the name of reducing your power? The paradox is that negging or dread game is a sign that he is insecure. That a man also takes time to care for work or health is just normal. If he doesn’t do that he probably has an anxious attachment style.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/22 12:12 AM

I do think that women would belive if he tells them to, because women might be more trusting. That’s hardly the woman’s fault. She might not be delusional but just think she lucked out. But overall, I don’t know how common this is? You would talk about the goals of dating initially I assume.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/22 12:06 AM

I think some are aware of that their options are scarse, but that they want all or nothing.

Eh I’m talking about I guess the lingerie models, looking like a model is also just an expression.

I agree that money isn’t ultra important but being desireable is associated with that as well. Dread game is not manufacturing it, it’s not the way they act.

Intermittent reward is not meant in that sense but in the sense of a sloth (?) machine, sometimes she is treated well or normally, sometimes abused.

There seems to be wide spectrum of things people call TRP.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/22 11:33 PM

But neither is the man nor is the woman to be taken for granted. I mean, in a relationship you should see the other person as special and be appreciative. That’s not rocket science, nor ”dread game”. I think most people don’t want to be in a relationship at all if they are taken for granted.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/22 11:32 PM

Well sure, nobody should bend themselves over for the opposite gender. But that doesn’t change the value of someone in terms of partners? Nobody says to put women on a pedestal. Dread game is not ”don’t be insecure”. Dread game is in fact associated with insecurity (cost inflicting mate retention strategies). That we like secure, confident and calm men is sometjing Women are telling men anyway. That’s not what TRP tells though. What do you mean with the last two paragraphs?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/22 11:30 PM

I guess, because easy to manipulate. But most people are inclined to be affected by propaganda.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/22 11:27 PM

Taller men, not richer. I’d chose an attractive normal to high income earner over a rich ugly guy btw.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/22 11:26 PM

What do you mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/22 11:26 PM

Dreadgame? Redpillers calling models ”mid” and so on.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/22 11:25 PM
1

But they don’t? I mean it’s fairly clear what your options are as a woman. And I don’t think single mums think they will have loads and loads of fresh, young, rich men after them.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/22 11:23 PM

But those women would know their league by seeing what type of men they attract. TRP however wants to make a woman perceive her value as lower than it actually is.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/22 11:13 PM
1

But that’s what TRP doesn’t get? They will tell women they can’t get what they actually can, tell women they are less attractive and so on, while the price decided by the buyer is higher than what TRP ascribes to them.
