Great explanation. Pleasing and too quick to acquiesce.

Do you thing, just curious, that this is a problem we see as early as school aged girls/boys?

Correct! Especially as couples fall into a "rut" which can happen after many years of marriage.

Regarding unfair expectations - just thinking about how so many men and women in the video appear perfect. Sex is great, but it can be awkward and messy and could become routine if not worked on. In videos there's an absence of that reality. :-)

Not t to mention the bad example it sets for young people/their children. Everyone is entitled to a bad day but -- some self-control is needed.

I love this idea. I recently started charging my cell in the bathroom. Like you said my husband is not distracted by his phone as I can be. I am ok with reading in bed but the constant scrolling mindlessly is not good.

What technology, if any, do you and your significant other have in the bedroom? My husband and I are working on not having our cell phones in our bed beside where we sleep at night any more. Thoughts?

We've been reading to our now five year old since he was in my belly. Story time routine is our favorite part of nighttime.

This weekend we had a few people over, mostly couples. A party I guess - lol were in our thirties but still! Drinking, music, dancing. The entire time my husband was spinning me around and dancing - very handsy- I loved every bit of it. The planning was a huge hit (with him taking the lead)and everyone had fun.

I want to try PP too. I also love Pinterest but sometimes I find it overwhelming and my ADHD kicks in. I'll find pins relating to my job (teacher), then inspirational quotes... spring fashion... then I realized I've only planed one meal.

Yes. I was speaking of one of the ideas, one of the ones that stood out to me as I first read RP theory. That, combined with shit tests, were two of the most valid reasons why I swallowed.

If I read correctly, AWALT is indeed a sweeping generalization that admits that women do not really want equality in their relationships. They think they do but it's not what they need. It also shows how and why women nag/complain and how a strong man should handle her that will provide an outcome of what's best for her, him, and (if applicable) their marriage.

Hmmm. I just moved from So. Fla after living there for 10 years. As a white, light-eyed woman I was certainly more attracted to the dark skin/dark eye exotics that weren't prevalent in my native New England. Plus, accents are awesome. You can tell some chicks anything random in a different language and it could sound sexy. What I noticed: Clean, washed face. Essential. Sounds ridiculous until you've lived Miami humidity. YMMV, but less is more when it comes to jewelry.

If you're Catholic there's also the Squires, which is all men-led and for boys led by the Knights of Columbus.

How'd you know that was one of my subscribed subreddits? LOL. Well to follow Rp theory one doesn't have to be entirely sane! Trying to think of other characters from a Song of Ice and Fire who may qualify.

She apparently helped her husband through some difficult years when he was drinking and running around being irresponsible. And when they were dirt poor. Later, her husband became rich and famous, but they still live in the same simple house as before, and her husband says he's indebted to his wife for many, many things. Ha! I am unsure how Roose treated women actually. I was thinking more of his IDGAF attitude. :)

I guess my question is, and sorry if I am not allowed to post here, can both a married man and wife work together on achieving red pill principles in their marriage? Thank you :)

You know yourself the best and if you need to take a step back, which may be true. Ha! Ok so you know how on Facebook or Instagram, a picture can often only show half of what is really going on? I believe, lol, my post did that. :) When my husband and I game it can be excessive, especially mine. As he's taking more of an alpha role with me (which I LOVE) I am noticing he'll quit playing and go off to bed at a resonable hour and I - a married mom in her mid30s - will stay online, drinking wine an…

Hmmm.., good question. Depends on the upbringing of the woman, but where I grew up ratios were reserved for the "bad boy" that your mom warned you about. He also likely carried one of those chain wallet things at the time hehe. Now it depends on the kind of tat - tattoos that symbolize something from a shared media interest would surely spark up a convo.

You will absolutely love Wizard and Glass. I think it's book 5? That book, at risk or sounding cliche, changed my life. Unsure what goes on in the Starcraft 'verse. :)

Thinking on this one, as this series was huge to me. Do you feel that young Roland was like that too? Kinda uncertain that he was exercising RP theory with Susan Delgado in Wizard and Glass. Garrosh Hellscream from Warcraft lore comes to mind.

Women, even as they get outraged at the very notion, simply want a man they respect to tell them ‘No’, and offer them structure and guidance. This is probably the most difficult aspect of red pill theory for women to swallow. When we realize that it's as natural (and necessary) as breathing oxygen can the trust take place to acquiesce.

Confidence and charisma go a long way. I do believe that many women don't want to admit that they want (need) an alpha as their spouse. It goes against how I was brought up to want a seemingly unbalanced relationship.

After I read that I realize that it made complete sense. The way you just paraphrased it and the way it was written certainly do sound crass. Shared with many of my fellow female friends that I think that kind of dynamic is something that is necessary, helpful, and something that can really help relationships. I'm certain that it wasn't forced but I almost feel like it was like exercising some people will say bring your body there in the mind will follow perhaps the same was in this case it is a…

So, given the scenario you recalled how would you have had the man react? I agree, no one likes liars and he definitely meant the start up convo as a way to (eventually) get her naked and willing. No one wants more friends, and if they do, it's not in a busy public place where guy have 0 idea about someone aside from appearance. Should he just shrug, wink, and swagger off?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/16 11:17 AM

Not sure I agree on women not following red pill or see a need for it. It was either in red pill wives or red pill women where i read "you think you want equality. You really don't,"

Sex with absolutely zero emotional investment then. Unsure that's so possible for many. At least you realize that there are so many emotions that can drive sex. I read on an MRP thread about a way a man. Helped his wife overcome her complaining - he said he lifted her up, wrapped her legs around her and proceeded to make love to her. He commented "was hard for her to complain (I read as: worry or think about anything negative) when I was balls deep in her). That one sentence from one post here o…

Interesting thought. So, is consensual sex mutual control then? There's nothing wrong, per se, which switching that role around IMO - although I wonder if red pill men wouldn't feel comfortable being out of the role of control.

100% accurate. Charm/Charisma are the fuel.
/r/TheRedPill05/05/16 10:51 AM

God damn. I don't think on my 37 years that I've ever experienced that then. Or else, maybe I just faked an emotional connection to make myself feel better about the sex in the first place - grew up conditioned that sex just for sex (pleasure) is wrong.

the extreme fringes of either end of the political spectrum often have more in common with each other than they would like to admi This a million times. Everything, indeed, is about power. How do we raise the next generation not to balk at or feel ashamed at that reality?

It's passive aggressive and childish. I fucking hate what the ease of email has done to my profession - and society - as a whole. PS. I looked in TRP glossary, but am unsure of AM and A&A. Thanks. :)

I have a diagnosed mental illness, many red pill techniques are helpful when my husband uses them. It's almost the "tough love" approach. It's an illness, like any other, but that doesn't give me a free pass to throw emotional diarreah at him when I am upset. I needed to be told to own my shit - do what helps a depressed person whether it's meds, exercise, therapy, better food choices or all of the above. I'm not as familiar with TRP jargon as I'd like to be Has she considered speaking to a doct…

Hi there! Similar story about coming from a matriarchal family. It wasn't a bad way to be raised, per se -- but it was what I knew. When my husband and I met I was suffering from depression and while my depression was serious I feel that at times I used it as an excuse to be more bitchy than necessary. As a result - my husband spent a good portion of our early relationship walking on eggshells. No more of that! :-) We also have a little one. :) does she go to pre school?

Hello ladies! I am so glad I've found this subforum. I've been a lurker on r/asktrp and r/theredpill for awhile and feel that the way of thinking and relating is a perfect jolt that many of us married women need.
