It sounds corny but it does get better over the long-term. I work in an office Front of a screen the whole day. My brain is fried at the end of the day. But I took a part-time job at a dollar store. Pays $10 Hour. The big thing was getting out of the house. I got tired of idling around watching TV or playing PlayStation for hours. The part-time job is kind of relaxing. I don't have to think about anything open box put stuff in shelf. I think that's gonna be the practical idea to start finding an…

Clarify for me this issue but if he gets remarried ( the guy paying child support ) And he has a stepchild that's he's helping to support and I believe the calculation could change in his favor slightly.

Talking about financial system of the year can be tough. I got current insurance bill coming up for the next 6 months. my share for half of the kids. Then house insurance in November. Since housing prices are higher in this crazy market Insurance is higher now. And property Taxes. Back-to-back things. Can be in the back of your mind it's only you're doing weekend outings and restaurants with your girlfriend.

It's a boost in confidence for sure. She's actually in the same boat divorced and horny. Neither of us or supermodels both could be a little exercise. I don't know with this information helps you In your search. There's somebody I knew an old flame We have not spoken in years. Things just worked out in our favor. A little bit easier than trying to Find a new person. My heart still blank I know I'm not ready for relationship. Hopefully I'll have a little bit more fun but it is a reminder I need t…

Control what you can control. It's not up to us to understand a woman's reason. Even if we had an explanation probably would not make any difference. Don't try to seek out her reasoning It will drive you crazy. It's a hard lesson to learn but Doesn't matter if you were good and treated her like a Queen your actions don't matter. That was a hard part for me how could this be happening to me if I was a good man. You'll find peace once you realize it doesn't matter what you do. When it's all up to …

Many of us don't like it but we gotta carry on and the only way is to accept the unacceptable. I was listening to a song from guardians of the Galaxy movie the song is called the " dog days are over. " See if you can find a video on the internet. The dog days are the longest days of summer kind of hard times. The song is about finally seeing a little bit of the lightAt the end of the tunnel and Realizing happiness is coming

We've all been there ..you're not alone. It does get easier once you find you're routine and time goes by and maybe some monthly counseling. We can only worry about what we can control.

Many of us have been there. Feeling like starting over financially. I am 51. Just took out s 30 year loan on our paid off house to be able to cash her half. Squeezed by retirement saving and kids in college. Focusing om what I can cut back on. Working overtime on Saturdays. New reality Working 6 out 7 days from now on. Would look at a part time job for Sundays of I could. It all depends on your effort and maybe compromise on both sides.

I'm trying to wait a year. I still feel right now if I'm with somebodyMy heart is blank I would be with someone just for for being there. Probably not fair to me or the other person. It's a shift in thinking. Since all we know is relationships . Then having to start over again being single. It sucks going to bed every night alone. Most likely any dating I do at the beginning will be casual. would I want to marry again yes. Would probably have to be someone I'm friends or dating for a long time. …

The first time I don't put my kids on a school bus when school started definitely felt like an empty nester when that bus drove in front of my house and didn't stop. Not being there I do feel like somewhat of a failure as a father. And 1 year into this journey I don't have a lot of motivation for some things. It even crossed my mind to go to another state. But I need to be here because there may be a time when they need me and that's the main thing keeps you around.

She texted me something different today saying if I'm getting the money together for half of the house share but I need to buy from her. Maybe she changed her tune I did not bring it up but it looks like she's desperate for money because she mentioned she has some unexpected Water and Power bills from this cold spell.

Yes that was some mistake abandoning the marital home and maybe one of the first rules of divorce not to move out. But I don't want to fight I do want my kids to be comfortable. I do worry if my kind Heart being taken advantage of. I don't have a plan for the future that's why I wanted to stay here. Friend of mine thinks housing prices are going to stay stable to do a shortage of houses but interest rates may come down the next couple years. So i may not see a bubble burst anytime soon necessary

Still vulnerable. Give yourself time. I would be afraid to find someone just to fill in the void. Do it right take your time to yourself and then in time baby steps friendship with that person and then see where it goes. Depending on your age it's possible that you may want your next person too be there for the long term into your golden years.

I would be open. I'm 50 years old . Not ready to date yet still going through my crap. But I would consider it if it's the right woman for the long haul. I hate to think my next marriage would be until we grow old together. Maybe that's the Romantic part of me. And maybe it would be a shot of being a dad again to kids that need you.

That could be a possibility you may still have her on a pedestal. The best way to shake your vision back to normal is to remember the times you were neglected and how you were treated.

I'm going through the divorce process out she moved out with the kids. I used to be the cook in the family so the fridge was always stocked would make several things I would experiment with new recipes. Right now I'm kind of in a rut and I've been making chicken fried rice and alfredo with chicken pasta and macaroni and cheese with hamburger meat and peppers. So this meals since I'm by myself will usually last me a few days to carry me through the through the week. Would love to have a few more …

Not sure I'm there yet I'm going through the divorce process right now after 20 years and I'm already thinking I wish I had somebody to fill that void because loneliness sucks. But of course I'm realistic enough that that's not the right mind frame. Right now I'm not sure I would see myself alone on purpose I think I do want a relationship in a few years. That would be my biggest obstacle that loneliness if I were to make a decision to be single the rest of the way.

I tried to talk to her and it went ugly she asked me to leave basically. Then she asked me later on we still had no trespass signs she could put one up at the place she's staying at so I'm thinking that was for me. I think both of us take it personal like my retirement account I'm thinking it's important to me for my old age and the land is important to her. We both feel something strongly that this is for ourselves. I got two kids in college and I'd rather pay legal fees money to support them w…
